When a lefty/liberal/multi-culti/so much cleverer than everyone else type reads something by Theodore Dalrymple, does he nod in wise agreement or does his head explode with the effort of trying to deny irrefutable logic and common sense?
Here is an interview TD gave to Bernard Chapin of Front Page promoting his new book “In Praise of Prejudice: The Necessity of Pre-conceived Ideas.
A sample from the interview:
BC: Would you agree that the veneer of being non-judgmental is rather thin because those supposedly tolerant have no problem spewing all kinds of prejudicial invective about...

…reports published in the Washington Post and USA Today in December 2006 found that 45 percent of Americans held negative views of Islam. He said such a change “is not natural.” He blamed “the American right wing” and the media for creating this negative view to help win elections. (link)
That is the standard, tired out dissimulation. It’s constantly intoned by muslim apologists who, like the deranged anti-Semite Juan Cole, just do not quite seem to understand that Americans are fast recognizing the idiocy of the argument.
Juan, sweetie, one only has to read daily...

Prof. Nicholas Stix at Global Politician gives an excellent summation of Hillary’s “experience”.
And what was her experience as First Lady? It was the experience of Travelgate, in which she engineered the malicious prosecution of White House Travel Office director Billy Dale, which ruined him financially, just so she could turn the office into a cash cow for her friend from Arkansas, socialist TV producer Harry Thomason. And Filegate, wherein Hillary Clinton collected and kept FBI files on hundreds of Republican officials and staffers whom she considered political enemies. It was...

This should warm the cockles of every jihadist’s heart. Great Britain will soon be theirs.
BRITONS are leaving the country in record numbers—thanks to spiralling levels of IMMIGRATION, CRIME and TAX.
Government figures set to be released later this year will show that an astonishing 250,000 people fled Britain in 2007.
That’s 684 A DAY—or ONE every TWO MINUTES.
And it’s a massive 21 PER CENT increase on the 207,000 who went in 2006—and up nearly 70 PER CENT from the 149,000 who left in 1997.
[...]
Typical of those leaving are plasterer Damian Barrett and wife Alison.
The...

This photo accompanies a New York Slime piece on genital mutilation and it occurred to me that it is probably safe to say that not one of these women has had, or will ever have, a climax. It strikes me that orgasm suppression might be a cause that will finally resonate with the comatose left. The libido obsessed progressives can surely put their sympathies behind a whole class of women who have been orgasm deprived for their entire lives. If the left will not go to war for oil, they can certainly be roused to go to war for the big “O”. I mean what is the point in masturbating for peace if...

But it is the Bush Doctrine that has been shelved. In its hunger for Arab support against Iran — and perhaps in a quest for a historic “legacy” — the administration has dropped “with us or with the terrorists.” It is hellbent instead on bestowing statehood upon a regime that stands unequivocally with the terrorists. “Frankly, it’s time for the establishment of a Palestinian state,” Rice says.
When George W. Bush succeeded Bill Clinton, he was determined not to replicate his predecessor’s blunders in the Middle East, a determination that...

If you are like me, buried in the blogs and news services, you need a gulp of fresh air, an antidote to the diatribes on the left and the gloom of creeping Sharia. Thanks to reader Latterdays for sending this bit of sanity.

I was still a comatose, pliant default liberal when Clinton was in office. I paid little notice to his antics nor politics in general. I was the perfect lemming (an irony, given that is the state of mind ascribed to loyal Americans; us Limbaugh-indoctrinated, redneck rubes, but, I digress),completely indifferent to what was going on in this nation. Thus, I missed reading about the many other ways that the Clintons managed to stain the White House.
Hillary is distasteful no matter what patina she tries to veneer to her chameleon skin, yet, for all her many facades, she never succeeds in achieving...

If you look to the far right column you’ll notice a new widget under the title “Islam Silencing You“. Click the link and you’ll find a slide show of sites and articles referencing the many current and past instances of Muslim intolerance and western appeasement. Mewling, atavistic pissants threatening tantrums have managed to silence governments, Hollywood, the world press and the Pope.
I mean, who the hell needs suicide bombers when the mere anticipation of the collective cacophony of “offended” Muslims will spin spineless cultural and political...

Meet Jill Stevens, a woman worthy of respect – a rare thing these days. Would this caliber female present herself as a presidential candidate, I might consider voting for a woman. For now, Jill is running in the Miss America pageant, or some variation thereof, and needs your vote.
She may be a looker, but it is also apparent that she has been awarded the Combat Medic Badge. In the Army, the CMB, along with the CIB (Combat Infantry Badge), is considered to be the most prestigious award available, and is worn on the uniform above all other badges and awards, including the Medal of Honor.
I...
