It has been a tricky thing for me to learn to distinguish from what I guess is called “classic liberalism” and the touchy-feely, naval gazing, pseudo altruism that my gorge was stuffed with during my lamentable hippie days.

I have been reading much about Gramsci and that is the ideology I associate with today’s progressives and I can’t fathom how any good can come from that branch of the family.

And as you say, the right spawns it’s own monsters and both ideological extremes meet in the middle, far as i can tell.

Regarding content — the “left” has done some good things in this country, but they long ago abandoned principle for politics. Much of the “right” has done the same, and we are left with politicians who lean whichever way the wind blows. Opportunists, they have a great deal in common with those who would be our new masters….

Thank you my dear Ligneus, but you know, my guess is his campaign has people scouring the net assiduously to squelch rumors and play down any references to the part islam plays in old Hussein’s family and background. And hell, even if there were no hint of islam, the fool is a blithering entitlement junkie.

But, alas, roadsassy has no such impact, but i am hoping the prominent bloggers continue to expose what the hell that fool portends for America.

I keep meaning to post about this site, Freedom’s Enemies, – they have been collecting a vast amount of material on Obama. They challenge anyone to refute what they have posted. Good source.

It seems so clear to me that if you are going to “shop” for religions, Jehovah’s is the better package, plain and simple. Free will vs mandatory submission. What’s not to like?

But I’d be lying in my soul if I said I were a practicing christian because quite frankly, I don’t want to love my enemy nor release my anger. So I will fight for Christianity, even if I can’t put my heart in the right place. And so it angers me to no end that the truth that god entrusted to his church has been desecrated and maligned past all recognition.

And you can not find very many christian ministers who will say the truth about Islam. At least, I have only run into a couple, this being one.

This post describes one instance, of thousands, of an ongoing national effort to promote “understanding” under the guise of “ecumenical out reach” between muslims and Christians. Christian churches – apparently as gutted by “progressive” infiltration as the rest of America – are blindly providing trojan horse groups like CAIR center stage.

As a Christian, I find this so incredibly frustrating that I can’t even express it. The infiltration, the embrace by the church of creeping liberalism, the cancer that destroys from within etc. etc…what on earth are people thinking?
