Harbingers of a Soylent Green World

Luxembourg parliament adopted a law late on Tuesday to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide.
This added the Grand Duchy to a small group of countries that allow the terminally ill to end their lives.
The law, expected to come into force towards the summer, was passed by 30 votes to 26. Luxembourg’s media said it was a symbolic defeat for Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker whose Christian Social Party opposed it.
“The Christian Social Party and the Catholic church were against the euthanasia law, calling it murder but we said no, it’s just another way to go,” said Jean Huss, a member of parliament of the Green Party and co-sponsor of the bill.

Baby killers basically got a two-for-one when they won the right to murder the fruits of their indiscretions . Once the high priestess of Abortion sweet talked her way into the sanctuary, her twisted sister, Euthanasia, sashayed on in right behind her. Predictable. And absolutely chilling when you understand the import of the government dispensing your health care. How expendable are you?

For those too young to have seen the movie Soylent Green, (trailer above) I suggest you rent it. If you vote socialism in (Obama or Hillary), not only will your wealth be redistributed, eventually, so will portions of your body. After all, who wants to waste all that protein? (See the movie if you don’t get it)

   Soylent Green was one of my all-time favorite movies, along with Brave New World and Blade Runner. Soylent Green out of those three really stuck most in my mind all through life. I saw it as a kid. It seems to me to be one of the most accurate predictors of the future. This is another powerful post you’ve written here.

   Thank you Aurora…Isn’t it amazing how all those stories are now appearing here in reality. I remember feeling this sense of safety and relief when reading those. I remember also thinking, especially with Orwell and Huxley, that surely, man would never let it come to that…….. But I was young, and could not read the tea leaves at all.

   Remember when Edgar G. Robinson was able to choose the video or film he would see as he died. I can just see that written into the socialist health plan. If you are a real good little citizen, you can make a custom technicolor death. maybe they’ll even make a reality show and everyone can watch everyone die and the best death gets a posthumous Oscar……..good lord. listen to me….I need coffee.

   Well, I think much depends on your template, and i might be wrong – some templates are “widget ready”, some not. On the other hand, I think there is a plug-in involved here – Viper’s Video Quicktags.

   As you are aware, You Tube provides the line of code (or whatever it is called – I’m not geek ) to embed in your post, usually to the right of the video. In WordPress, I change editing from the “visual” tab to the “code” tab, I paste the embed in and save and preview. I’m not sure if the aforementioned plug-in is responsible for the ease of embedding or if it is a property of this particular template.

   Also, if you do a search in the wordpress forum, you are likely to find many available plug-ins to work with. Also, go to your dashboard and you’ll find many resources on wordpress and plug-ins.

   If this is stuff you already know, forgive, but I know no more than that.

   Also, the vodpod you see in the right hand column is an excellent widget you can put in your sidebar and easily make your video collection readily available to your readers.

   That’s quite the segway there… Luxembourg allows euthanasia… that’s because we allowed abortion… which is what happens when you have government health care (like the rest of the G8)… it leads to dystopian futures… which is what you’ll bring by voting for communists like the democratic party…

   There’s only one thing left to do… we need to give in to more liberties and invest in special police forces to prevent prevent people from thinking up of bad ideas like this. We need a new patriot act to stop these terrorist sawbones!
