The Bastard Contingent of "Christian" Leftists Continue to Spit on Israel.

Tensions are re-emerging between Jewish organizations and some mainline Protestant churches in the wake of a renewed drive for churches to divest from companies doing business with Israel.
The United Methodist Church opened discussions last Friday on a resolution calling for divestment from Caterpillar, the tractor manufacturer, because the company supplies Israel with bulldozers used in building the separation barrier and in demolishing Palestinian homes. The divestment resolution comes only months after the publication of a church-sponsored report referring to the creation of the State of Israel as the “original sin.”

What is particularly distressing about these malicious efforts is, should , god forbid, Obama wins, these Methodists and Protestants will find more support for their heretical anti-semitism. They certainly share a common cause with Obama’s Pastor Wright, whose obvious devotion to the anti-Semitic Farrakhan has been well documented.

Obama makes a pretense now of shunning both “Pastor” Wright and Farrakhan ( along with his recently dismissed anti-Israel political advisor, Samantha Powers)

…back in January, Mr. Obama had asked Mr. Wright if he would begin the event by delivering a public invocation.

But Mr. Wright said Mr. Obama called him the night before the Feb. 10 announcement and rescinded the invitation to give the invocation.

“Fifteen minutes before Shabbos I get a call from Barack,” Mr. Wright said in an interview on Monday, recalling that he was at an interfaith conference at the time. “One of his members had talked him into uninviting me,” Mr. Wright said, referring to Mr. Obama’s campaign advisers. (source)

Obama has repeatedly tried to distance himself from his pastor’s embarrassing admiration for Farrakhan, telling a meeting of Jewish leaders in Cleveland this month that he believed giving the Nation of Islam leader an award was “a mistake” and comparing his pastor to “an old uncle who sometimes will say things that I don’t agree with.” (source)

Yes, Mr. Obama distanced himself. Even Mr. Farrakhan understands why. As Farrakhan said recently on ABC’s Nightline: “I like him very much. …He has a fresh approach…If avoiding me would help him to become president, I’d be glad to stay in the background.” (source)

…and the pro-terrorist bigot quoted below laments Obama’s pusillanimous loyalties, but, hey, if nothing else, such an activist knows intimately the necessity of political expediency. It’s called hudna, taqiyya and kitman, and muslims practice it facilely.

The last time I spoke to Obama was in the winter of 2004—As he came in from the cold and took off his coat, I went up to greet him. He responded warmly, and volunteered, “Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race. I’m hoping when things calm down I can be more up front.” He referred to my activism, including columns I was contributing to the The Chicago Tribune critical of Israeli and US policy, “Keep up the good work!”

But Obama’s gradual shift into the AIPAC camp (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) had begun as early as 2002 as he planned his move from small time Illinois politics to the national scene.—Among his early backers was Penny Pritzker — now his national campaign finance chair — scion of the liberal but staunchly Zionist family that owns the Hyatt hotel chain.

…If disappointing, given his historically close relations to Palestinian-Americans, Obama’s about-face is not surprising. He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected and he will continue doing it as long as it keeps him in power.

No matter how you try to whitewash it Obama, those from whom you now wish to distance yourself have been a constant source of influence in your life and there are too many of your words out there that align you with the sentiments of your “pastor” and other supporters of the same ilk. If you try to hide away your closest spiritual advisors and so easily “distance” yourself from other supporters when it is expedient to do so, how worthy is any of your pretentious palaver?

No white conservative candidate could possibly weather the storm that would ensue were their declared inspiration and valued teachers been provided by the KKK or David Duke.

Casual remonstrations simply do not suffice when Obama’s policies and vision for this country reek of the “liberation theology” espoused by his so-called mentors. A theology and mind set that will only give license for the new class of bigots rising from the poisoned grounded of a twisted political Christianity that is as odiferous as political Islam.

There is no doubt in my mind that an Obama presidency will not only bode ill for America, but for Israel as well. As the treacheries of the “christian” left becomes more overt and blatant, anti-semitism will gain ground and respectability and it certainly will meet little resistance from an Obama White House - just more lip service.
