Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Muslim Imans Preach the Same Vitriol

In school in Gaza, I learned hate, vengeance and retaliation. Peace was never an option, as it was considered a sign of defeat and weakness. At school we sang songs with verses calling Jews “dogs” (in Arab culture, dogs are considered unclean).

Criticism and questioning were forbidden. When I did either of these, I was told: “Muslims cannot love the enemies of God, and those who do will get no mercy in hell.” As a young woman, I visited a Christian friend in Cairo during Friday prayers, and we both heard the verbal attacks on Christians and Jews from the loudspeakers outside the mosque. They said: “May God destroy the infidels and the Jews, the enemies of God. We are not to befriend them or make treaties with them.” We heard worshippers respond “Amen”.

My friend looked scared; I was ashamed. That was when I first realised that something was very wrong in the way my religion was taught and practised. Sadly, the way I was raised was not unique. Hundreds of millions of other Muslims also have been raised with the same hatred of the West and Israel as a way to distract from the failings of their leaders. Things have not changed since I was a little girl in the 1950s.

I’m sure this must have been mentioned in all of the thousands of words written about the ridiculous “Reverend” Wright, but, none the less, I feel compelled to point out that the type of separatism and hatred preached by that demented old fool is replicated across this nation (and the world, for that matter) on a regular basis by countless of imans in thousands of mosques. Perhaps the difference between Wright and his ideological cousins in the mosques is that Wright perverts Christianity to serve his purpose whereas Muslims are preaching islam straight from their koran.

One could only wish that the mainstream media would expose these imans, but that will not forward their political agenda. I doubt Wright’s exposure was a result of honest investigative reporting. For all of journalism’s professed concern about race and equality, they never bothered to get at the root of black racism before this presidential race and it also does not serve them to expose the mosques preaching America’s demise either.

An undercover survey of more than 100 mosques and Islamic schools in America has exposed widespread radicalism, including the alarming finding that 3 in 4 Islamic centers are hotbeds of anti-Western extremism, WND has learned.

The Mapping Sharia in America Project, sponsored by the Washington-based Center for Security Policy, has trained former counter intelligence and counter terrorism agents from the FBI, CIA and U.S. military, who are skilled in Arabic and Urdu, to conduct undercover reconnaissance at some 2,300 mosques and Islamic centers and schools across the country.

“So far of 100 mapped, 75 should be on a watch list,” an official familiar with the project said.

Many of the Islamic centers are operating under the auspices of the Saudi Arabian government and U.S. front groups for the radical Muslim Brotherhood based in Egypt.

Frank Gaffney, a former Pentagon official who runs the Center for Security Policy, says the results of the survey have not yet been published. But he confirmed that “the vast majority” are inciting insurrection and jihad through sermons by Saudi-trained imams and anti-Western literature, videos and textbooks.

In reading the hundreds of comments from Americans who were amazed by Wright’s vitriol, please understand that the media has had ample opportunity to unmask black racists, much as they have had more than enough opportunity to unmask the hatred taught in mosques in this country and around the world.

I hope this lesson serves to inspire more Americans to investigate on their own. “Reverend” Wright is merely the tip of the iceberg, a mere glimpse into the forces actively working to destroy this country.
