Fleeing Socialism

If “educated citizens” are fleeing socialism in Venezuela, one wonders where they are fleeing to. After all, should Obamanation or Hillary end up winning the election, America faces the same fate. Where will any of us go? Socialism and it’s close cousin islam seem to be a cancer that has masticated throughout the globe. In fact the only global crisis I can see isn’t one of climate, but of ideolgy.From Red Moon Journal….

In this article from The Statesman.com we find, once again, that socialism is a failure no matter where it is tried. According to author Eunice Moscoso, educated citizens of Venezuela are fleeing their collapsing country as fast as they can pack their belongings and buy a ticket out. It is a continuing embarrassment to the left, and one they refuse to acknowledge, that socialist countries are unable to attract the very people on whom such a system would rely. The maxim, “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”, is an advertisement to most people that the government considers them to be a milk cow. And the message is, “prepare to be milked dry”. No sane, productive and responsible person wishes to see himself this way. No one who is worth anything would turn themselves into a slave to every other person in society.

I think that the vanguard Left know that nobody wants to live in their ‘Utopias’ but they don’t care. They want to impose something on us that we don’t want and they think we should have anyway. The head of our Australian reserve bank was quoted in the weekend’s newspaper that the goal of the new interest rate rises and taxes was to induce poverty so we couldn’t consume as much and hence contribute more to carbon emissions.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to pre-delete my comment on that type of claptrap lest I leave any evidence to suggest I have the capacity of going “postal”.
