After reading this post, and so many others these past few weeks, I’ve come to the conclusion that Obama cannot lose. Oh, he might lose the election, but what he represents for America will claim victory regardless.Let’s say that the progressives, represented by Obama, do lose the general election. What’s their response going to be? Racism. That old worn out saw is going to be paraded again throughout the social conscience of America. Is it a lie? Yes, but what does the truth have to do with it?

Let’s say that the progressives win the general election, then what? They’ll make a claim of moral victory as they throw the country into sociological tailspin, pushing every left wing agenda they can imagine starting with legislation and the federal court systems. It’s easy to blame the eunuch’s of the GOP, the extreme ranting of the progressives (Kos Kids), the socialist mindset of our universities, the Islamic invasion happening world wide for the past 40 years, the failure of the Christian church to actually believe/act upon the Word of God (Bible), the economy or last nights pizza. I’m sure all have had some effect, there’s enough blame for everyone to get a ’super-sized portion’, but blame is not the issue. The world is about to change, drastically.

As I set here listening to NPR news and the propaganda they’re shoveling today, I wonder how we’ll look back on the first decade of this millennium. Will Americans accept the loss of their freedoms quietly like Europe has? Will we become a bunch of whiners like the Islamic’s have and reconquer our freedoms through legal manipulation? Bullets are not the answer, but a groundswell of indignation from the vast silent majority would change things.

One final point: Were you aware that during the American Revolution less than 1/3 of men of fighting age actually fought in those battles long ago? And what did they accomplish? They kicked the ASS of the greatest military power of the age!!! It’s not a good thing to make America angry, eh? Why do you think Osama hasn’t attacked a second time? My guess is the next attack is going to ring America’s bell - or - that will be his intent.

If Osama is going to attack, it’ll be when a Democrat is in the whitehouse and after America has cut and run from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Zee, great post. It always has been about the grassroots Americans and not about who is in political power. Remember America was founded by people who refused to bow to the evil political power of their day but escaped to a new country to start a righteous society of their own. There is enough of this great power resident in the Judeo-Christian foundations of this country unparalleled (in my opinion) in any other western country, to retain a strong kernel of righteousness which will remain no matter what.

I’ve been wondering about that. Obama would fold like a deck of cards. He’ll make Spain look resolute and strong by comparison.

Hi Aurora, Yes it is a good post, but not mine. Lucky Larry left it as a comment.

There is enough of this great power resident in the Judeo-Christian foundations of this country unparalleled (in my opinion) in any other western country, to retain a strong kernel of righteousness which will remain no matter what.

I do hope so. Yet, the evil that prevails in this age is such where even that kernel of righteousness will be hounded out of existence. The ReProgressives are severing the young from their souls at such an early age, they will not retain any more of their humanity or their ability to comprehend what America is. When I first learned how vile Islam is, I wondered how it is that the human soul could be filled with such a vile elixir and still function. But apparently the soul is a container that can hold evil as easily as good. If the Obamination gets his way and has the state implementing mandatory day care for America’s youth, the same foul elixir will drown America’s soul.

ANd even then, I’d have hope that a small group of people could go underground and keep freedom alive until sufficient forces could be gathered to take back power. But the American Revolution could never have gotten off the ground with today’s tech - with heat sensors that can detect life in a bunker, with high tech creating a virtual prison for any citizen that doesn’t have the means of subverting the surveillance that has come to track our every move. And when every means of obtaining food or medicine is controlled by the state… how will anyone break free? Between speech codes, control of transportation and essentials, a military turned against it’s citizenry - which is how I think the left would use the military - i see little capacity to withstand what is coming.

I just can’t imagine how simple citizens will be able to mount any resistance. Especially now. 200 years ago,people at least knew how to grow food, were dependent on little, if anything, outside of their own capacity to produce. But no one is self-sufficient now. Hell, Americans fall apart if their cable connection goes down.

MK, this is a double edged sword, IMHO. Right now the loony left are screaming fascism, yet should the holy warriors of Islam decide to strike the Great Satan (/sarc) after a Democrat gets elected into office then I can see the country taking a HARD right turn. Think back to the 1930’s. Both Germany and Italy voted in strong nationalist governments that led the world into a major war, millions dead and numerous economies ruined. The truly wonderful thing about America is it’s multi-party political system, but with extremisms happening on both the left and the right this two party system could easily become a formula for disaster via an over reaction. It would be ever so easy for the people of this country to wrap themselves in the flag and scripture as a reaction to a leftist progressive Marxist president and a horrendous attack from Binny & The Boys, and then destroy our own country - nothing intentional, but the consequences of an ultra-nationalist government would be as bad as a socialist one.

I want my country to be a land of freedom and liberty; not a cesspool of socialism or fascism (nationalism). Those are both extremes and reactionary: not good.

Amen to that. Why do always throw the baby out with the bath water? What is with this human penchant for extremes?

Yin/Yang, dark/light,life/death balance. It seems obvious to little old rube me that a critical design element inherent in this world is the tension between opposites, epitomizing the necessity of balance. We are not going to ever be rid of evil, nor, as “fallen” humans are we ever going to obtain perfection. It would behoove us to fight to maintain the balance, not keep going through these damn extremes. But darkness and it’s resultant evils now prevail, spiritual entropy besets and enervates the “good”……….
oh well… we march on……..

Also, do you think the jihadists are organized enough that they could either initiate or prevent another effective attack. I just don’t see a central figure controlling all these fools, strategizing as to when the most propitious time for an attack would be. The last thing they’d want to do is precipitate the scenario you describe.

I wish I had answers but all I can offer is observations and speculation: hopes and dreams aren’t easily translated into reality. It’s taken decades for the socialists to twist American mores so far, will it take as long to restore the intent of our founding fathers - I don’t know. Attacking our country on a wide scale basis would be exceedingly easy - all the ingredients are available, just add time and money. I guess you read about the Saudi’s paying off the imams in Australia to push radical Islam - when our enemies decide it’s time to slap America people will die. The twin towers attack was a showboat operation, intended to scare us as much as to cause our country damage - IMHO. Well, I at least wish I were humble. LOL

Rancid, your assessment is depressing but true. Seven years now and our borders are a joke, this administration has done nothing but prostrate itself to islam, sauds are buying off universities and growing mosques and madrassas here, they have so many government dhimmis in their pocket they could populate a new country with ‘em.

It ain’t looking good….
