Who says? Well Lawrence Wright for one, writing in the New Yorker and commented on in Contentions.
Quite amazing to see this in The New Yorker, but give credit where it’s due, now if only some people who should be smart enough to know would give some credit to GWB and the US Military for taking on the Jihadists and turning the tide in this long war against the latest manifestation of totalitarianism.
