Alan Colmes disgusts me. Even if I liked Hannity, which I don’t particularly, the sight of skeletor at his side compels me to change channels. Perhaps he presents such an emaciated mien due to the progressive liberal disease ravaging not only his brain, but his body.

This from the side of the aisle who howls about hatred from the right. This from progressives who delight in all manner of sexual perversion. If they believe traditional standards to be without merit or legitimacy, why do they value them enough to use them against the right.

In her speech in Dayton today, Gov. Sarah Palin announced that she and her husband are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, which means they were married on August 29, 1988.

On April 20, 1989 – less than eight months after they eloped – their first son, Track, was born.

I think I can guess the real reason why they eloped, and it wasn’t to save money on an expensive wedding.

They immigrate to countries that are polite enough to let them in and allow them to practice their religion in peace; and they threaten violence unless those countries are willing to alter their own traditions and subvert their own values in adopting the Islamic perspective.

Several lawmakers stood up in protest, describing the so-called honor killings as “barbaric.”

Human rights groups accused local authorities of trying to hush up the executions, which according to local media reports and activists took place a month ago in Baba Kot, a remote village in Jafferabad district.

In Obama, you have a former board member of the Joyce Foundation who steered millions of dollars towards gun-control groups. He’s touted his support for bans on handguns and a 500 percent increase on taxes for guns and ammunition, and has called for bans on ammunition (including some of the most popular hunting ammunition).

His running mate, Joe Biden, is a career anti-gun politician. Remember 1994? Remember those dark days when the Clinton administration and their cronies in Congress banned semi-automatic firearms based entirely on cosmetic features? Guess who was one of those most responsible for that gun ban? None other than Joe Biden.

Biden has consistently voted against your Second Amendment rights as a U.S. senator, and Obama’s made it clear that his vision of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is meaningless. This pair, if elected, would be the biggest threat to your firearm freedoms in decades, and that’s with the recent decision in the Heller case. We can’t afford to stay home on Election Day, and we can’t afford to stay silent between now and then. You don’t have to go back that far to find Obama taking an extreme stance against gun rights. In 2004, while running for the U.S. Senate, he promised to bar citizens nationwide from receiving concealed-carry permits. The Chicago Tribune reported then that Obama “backed federal legislation that would ban citizens from carrying weapons, except for law enforcement.” Obama explained his plan to pre-empt state concealed-carry laws with a federal bill: “National legislation,” Obama said at the time, “will prevent other states’ flawed concealed-weapons laws from threatening the safety of Illinois residents.”

I have become aware of far too many young Americans buying into the white guilt trip, ready to denigrate America based on the revisionist history fed to them at the public school trough. I have read too many accounts of slavery that totally exclude the history of arab, black and muslim slave traders, and I have read too many black writers who have no interest in equality, just payback. And then, there is the revelation of the blacks who subscribe to “Reverend” Wright’s liberation theology.

Whereas once I may have looked askance at the proposal for a white history course, I am coming to believe that it is necessary and perhaps, overdue.

The British National Party is to launch a ‘white history’ project as a counter to the announcement that the state is to make the learning of ‘black history’ compulsory at all UK schools.

The white history project will consist of a series of downloadable articles on great contributions to the world by white British and European peoples, the detailing of the far bigger Muslim slave trading empire and promotions on books dealing with white history.

Jairam Advocaten removed the porn actresses portraits from its website yesterday, replacing them with a picture of what appears to be its office. This time Geenstijl.nl discovered that the picture chosen was a prestigious office building in Rotterdam. In reality, Jairam Advocaten is located in a shabby building in Amsterdam.

When I first saw this, I thought it likely to be as credible as the allegations by the idiot who claims to have had sex with Obama in a limo or some such nonsense. But it has indeed been confirmed that Frank Marshall Davis is the Frank that Obama speaks so eloquently of in his book. And, as The Telegraph reports, that same Frank Marshall Davis is a confessed, and apparently proud, pervert. (H/T to Porcupine Rim)

Now I know in the world of ReProgressives, Davis’s sexual antics are not likely to be scorned, in fact, too many of the ReProgressive breed count such thinking as acceptable and, well, progressive. Fine and dandy. But I seriously do not want a president who finds value in counsel from such a man, be it political or sexual.

Bill Clinton put his seal of approval to blow-jobs, defining it as an inconsequential form of sexual activity, giving America’s youth a green light to indulge. Since Obama views babies as punishments, has no qualms about executing live babies, and advocates sex ed for kindergarteners, I really, really don’t want to imagine what his sexual parameters are. I suspect they would be just as repugnant as his political parameters.

Maya Soetoro-Ng, Obama’s half-sister, told the Associated Press recently that her grandfather had seen Mr Davis was “a point of connection, a bridge if you will, to the larger African-American experience for my brother”.

In his memoir, Mr Obama recounts how he visited Mr Davis on several occasions, apparently at junctures when he was grappling with racial issues, to seek his counsel. At one point in 1979 Mr Davis described university as “an advanced degree in compromise” that was designed to keep blacks in their place.

Mr Obama quoted him as saying: “Leaving your race at the door. Leaving your people behind. Understand something, boy. You’re not going to college to get educated. You’re going there to get trained.”

He added that “they’ll tank on your chain and let you know that you may be a well-trained, well-paid nigger, but you’re a nigger just the same.”

And this is the man who Obama sought counsel from on racial issues? Perhaps he absorbed the man’s sexual ethics as well. Given that he seems to think sex ed for 5 years old is beneficial, one can only wonder.

It has also been established that Mr Davis, who divorced in 1970, was the author of a hard-core pornographic autobiography published in San Diego in 1968 by Greenleaf Classics under the pseudonym Bob Greene.

In a surviving portion of an autobiographical manuscript, Mr Davis confirms that he was the author of Sex Rebel: Black after a reader had noticed the “similarities in style and phraseology” between the pornographic work and his poetry.

“I could not then truthfully deny that this book, which came out in 1968 as a Greenleaf Classic, was mine.” In the introduction to Sex Rebel, Mr Davis (writing as Greene) explains that although he has “changed names and identities…all incidents I have described have been taken from actual experiences”.

He stated that “under certain circumstances I am bisexual” and that he was “ a voyeur and an exhibitionist” who was “occasionally mildly interested in sado-masochism”, adding: “I have often wished I had two penises to enjoy simultaneously the double – but different – sensations of oral and genital copulation.”

The book, which closely tracks Mr Davis’s life in Chicago and Hawaii and the fact that his first wife was black and his second white, describes in lurid detail a series of shockingly sordid sexual encounters, often involving group sex.

One chapter concerns the seduction by Mr Davis and his first wife of a 13-year-old girl called Anne. Mr Davis wrote that it was the girl who had suggested he had sex with her. “I’m not one to go in for Lolitas. Usually I’d rather not bed a babe under 20.

“But there are exceptions. I didn’t want to disappoint the trusting child. At her still-impressionistic age, a rejection might be traumatic, could even cripple her sexually for life.”

He then described how he and his wife would have sex with the girl. “Anne came up many times the next several weeks, her aunt thinking she was in good hands. Actually she was.

“She obtained a course in practical sex from experienced and considerate practitioners rather than from ignorant insensitive neophytes….I think we did her a favour, although the pleasure was mutual.”

On other occasions, Mr Davis would cruise in Hawaii parks looking for couples or female tourists to have sex with. He derived sexual gratification from bondage, simulated rape and being flogged and urinated on.

He boasted that “the number of white babes interested in at least one meeting with a Negro male has been far more than I can handle” and wished “America were as civilised as, say, Scandinavia”. He concluded: “I regret none of my experiences or unusual appetites; for me they are normal.” [ed: all bold mine] (Source)

The convoluted reasoning that justifies the depravity of pedophilia and reduces a black man’s successful entrance into college to one of simply being prepared to be a “well trained nigger” doesn’t suggest that the purveyor of such gutter thinking ought to be sought out for counseling. The fact that Obama even includes the warped fool in his book further confirms for me that Barack Obama is totally alien to American values, not to speak of the Christian values he ludicrously claims to uphold.

Julie Burchill is like many of us who became Atheists when young but changed with age and a modicum of wisdom.
I think I have a foot in both camps, I don’t believe in a Creator, there is no answer to the question that if the Universe must necessarily have been created because it couldn’t just happen, then where did the Creator come from? And if I should be asked, Do you believe in God? I don’t answer no, I say it depends what you mean by God. I tend towards the Hebrew idea, that God is so far outside our existence or knowledge that you shouldn’t even have a name for Him, thus they write G-d to avoid the naming which according to Erich Fromm in his book You Shall Be As Gods is a form of idolatry.

Fromm’s interpretation of the Old Testament is essentially as follows: Stage 1: A dictatorial God as absolute ruler, jealous of the human potential to be God’s rival. The use of force and brutality characterizes such a God, who expels Adam and Eve from Paradise and limits human lifetime to 120 years. Stage 2: God establishes a covenant with Noah and his descendants, promising to never again flood the Earth. For Fromm, the concept of the covenant is one of the most decisive steps in the evolution of Judaism, in that it leads to a conception of complete freedom for humankind, in particular freedom from God. God and human beings become partners in a treaty, this transforming God from an absolute ruler into a constitutional monarch. God then has less freedom to be brutal, to disrepect human life and other living creatures. Abraham’s numerical challenge to God at Sodom and Gommorrah is offered in evidence. Abraham’s confidence in the principle of universal justice is a departure from the concept of human beings as meek supplicants, fearful of God’s reprisals. Stage 3: The rejection of idols and the subsequent concept of God as a nameless God. One must talk to God, not about him, the latter results in idolatry. The philosophy of Moses Maimonides is offered as evidence of this. The “negative theology” of Maimonides allows only the employment of attributes of actions of God. Both God and humans in this stage become subjected to the same universal principles of truth and justice, and their relationships is no longer confrontational . Conceptions of God then evolve to the more abstract, with God working through history (“horizontally”), and not into it (“vertically”).

Going from Atheism to ‘Faith’ in this way is like coming full circle, from declaring there is no God to a state of knowing that you cannot know what or who He is, He is nothing and He is all.
The best expression I know of this comes at the end of the preface to W H Auden’s The Sea and the Mirror, a commentary on Shakespeare’s The Tempest, in which, after the play has ended, each of the characters speaks of the aftermath, each in a different poetic form, ending with a Jamesian prose monologue by Caliban. Here is the preface ending:
