Tinkering

I had a new grand baby born today and I ain’t in the mood to sully my mind and mood with thoughts of Obama, progressives, socialists or any other group of American traitors, for that matter. The addition of my newest grandson makes four, plus one granddaughter.  Five young Americans who are being raised by hardworking, kick-ass innovative, no nonsense, America loving  parents. No Obama voters in this house. Not now, not ever.

So instead of depressing myself writing about current events, for tonight anyway, I will be playing around with the theme and layout,  tinkering with a few various templates to see if I like anything better than what I have been using. Anyway,  see that Ligneus has been busy posting so there is plenty of good reading below this post.

This is the theme I’d really like to try but I have to figure out how to configure it. I imagine I will have to unplug all my plug-ins and widgets and the last time I did that I lost all of my news feeds and a few other items.  Not too adept at this  type of thing so, pardon the messes that  I am liable to make.

Congratulations to you and your family zee. May he grow up to be kind and wise, (but not easy). Oh, and enjoy those years as they pass.

The divine gift of life which blesses us far more than we realize or even know … how truly wonderful.

God bless zee.

Hi JAR
… and thank you. He is my oldest son’s youngest son and that young man has seen me through the vicissitudes of a tumultuous life. He so easily could have chosen many wrong paths, yet he has continued to make the harder choices, the ones that hurt, but inevitably produce the most enduring fruit. So my newest little grandbaby is indeed cradled in the arms of a wise man, who has chosen a good woman, and I thank God for them everyday. My children and grandchildren are the reason I draw breath and I don’t think I would have ever had a glimmer or an inkling about the divinity of God had I never had them. I wouldn’t even have come close.

MK thank you very much and I will indeed pass your blessings along.

Leslie,
I do thank you. And I am glad you like the theme..it was very user friendly to concoct. Any suggestions are welcome. I still feel the need to tidy it up, make it a bit sleeker….or something. Oh to know code and HTML and all those obscure “languages” my brain fumbles with. 8-O

Thank you K T Cat and thank you for the visit also. You remind me that I still want to post on Russia…. So many unsettling events, so little time…..
