Barack Obama Ain’t His Brother’s Keeper

Barack Hussein Obama… said America’s greatest failure is that “We still don’t abide by that basic concept in Matthew that ‘Whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.’

Barack Obama’s Brother:

Obama's Brother

Obama's Brother

“I live like a recluse, no one knows I exist. I live on less than a dollar a month. If anyone says something about my surname, I say we are not related. I am ashamed.” (Source)

Barack Obama’s brother George lives on less than a dollar a month? I realize the price of arugula is going up, but couldn’t our prospective “wealth re-distributor in-chief” throw his baby brother a couple of bucks? For the price of one of his Hyde Park lattes Obama could quadruple what his brother scrapes by on now.

Think of the contrast in lifestyle. Obama shops at Whole Foods. George burrows for food in alleys. Obama lives in a million dollar mansion. George lives in a 3×3 shanty made of wood scraps and corrugated metal. Obama has a gate to protect his family. George has scars from fights in his Kenyan neighborhood where people are routinely hacked to death with machetes.

Obama, D-Ill., the presumptive Democratic Party nominee for president, mentions George briefly in one of his books, describing him as a beautiful 5-year-old boy, The Independent reports. Obama’s father, who met his mother when they were studying in Hawaii, returned to Kenya when the future senator was 2.

George, two decades younger than the U.S. senator, said he met him a second time in Kenya in 2006.

“It was very brief, we spoke for just a few minutes,” he said. “It was like meeting a complete stranger.”

‘I don’t even tell people that I am related to Barack Obama, I don’t want people here to be harassing me because they think I have money or influence,’ George Obama told Britain’s Daily Telegraph.

All lies, all the time

All lies, all the time

The Obama camp were yet to comment on the story. (Source)

With Obama’s “hate John McCain because he’s rich” ad, he’s insinuating that owning a number of houses - in realty, the McCains own a variety of investment properties, which accounts for John McCain’s not being able to give precise number - is somehow a character flaw. I couldn’t disagree more. I would argue this is a character flaw: allowing your brother to whither away in a hut in Nairobi, Kenya, while you’re living the good life in America.

Contrast that with John and Cindy McCain who, fifteen years ago, with a cleft palate from Sister Teresa’s orphanage in Bangladesh.adopted a 5 week old baby girl(Source)

Have you come over to my view yet that this guy is going to lose big come November? [Yes I know I've been sticking my neck out, but my antennae told me there was no way this charlatan, con man could be elected.]

I’m not sure if all my views are fit for human consumption Zee, but needless to say, I’m not very shocked with this new evidence of our socialist candidate for POTUS. I don’t have the information right at hand, but the documented charitable giving of Mr & Mrs Obama-messiah are VERY meager. I don’t know, perhaps he considers his smiling face alone will feed and clothe people. As a socialist ideologue he’s going to place that burden upon the backs of the taxpayers rather than attempting to carry his own fraction of the load. Chicago, a rich American city - perhaps he wasn’t aware of how poor people barely scrapped by, eh? ROFL

o/t Wouldn’t it be interesting if the DNC woke up and Hillary was nominated to run as the Democrat candidate for President?

Hi there Larry,

I don’t have the information right at hand, but the documented charitable giving of Mr & Mrs Obama-messiah are VERY meager.

From one of the links above:

Here is Obama’s and here is McCain.

He is such a typical liberal. They love the theories, they love to mix up a sociological brew and pour the toxins down society’s throats and then walk away. They are all frigging talk, the rubber never hits the road with them.

o/t Wouldn’t it be interesting if the DNC woke up and Hillary was nominated to run as the Democrat candidate for President?

That’s another nightmare altogether.

Not yet my dear Lig. You are quite right that he is simply unelectable, but, I have lost a lot of faith in the American people, I really have. I will be more than happy to be proven wrong. The fact that Obama even got this far is extremely disturbing to me.

The fact that Obama even got this far is extremely disturbing to me.

That is disturbing, and I was amazed at how close John ‘do you know who I am?’ Kerry got to the Presidency, so yes, there are an awful lot of people who don’t pay much attention to what’s going on and are fed propaganda from the MSM, I should be a little more circumspect and a little less exuberant in my predictions.

Oh balls, he’s going to lose big! Huge!

Assuming he gets the nomination.

See my latest post.

 You’re funny… I’m going to have to send you a bottle of good whiskey when you prove all my dour fears to have been needless.

Assuming he gets the nomination.

See my latest post.

I did, and you are right…things are looking less and less pleasant for the big “o”. But i hope he gets taken down after the nomination. I don’t want to see Hillary have any chance of running.

FREE WHISKEY ….where?….how?…..when? ….what type? (most important detail)….please can I have some, very pretty please?

If you win the prize lig, will you be sharing it amongst friends? or is that just too close to the collectivist ideal for all us free spirits, :)

(what a great pun!…. Just in case you missed it) ;)

What’s up with the green smiley face, does that sweet nectar turn your stomach zee?

zee August 22nd, 2008 at 11:40 am

My dear Richard,
Let’s just tease you a bit more!!!

Kentucky Bourbon Trail

Live Distillery Cams at Buffalo Trace

or is that just too close to the collectivist ideal for all us free spirits

Well if they get to be situational Christians and situational patriots, we can be situational collectivists if it so suits the ,uh, uhm, situation. And free spirits (pun noted and approved) is sufficient cause.

I think we all need to meet on the Bourbon Trail and celebrate when Obama loses.

“I think we all need to meet on the Bourbon Trail and celebrate when Obama loses.”

Zee, I think if you award lig with his prize at the meet-up, I’m sure the euphoria of the event with have him in a very sharing mood. We can even let him tell us “I told you so” several times before we collectively role our eyes ;) Hopefully, or most probably, by then we will all be so pie eyed, he won’t notice

Ligneus August 22nd, 2008 at 8:59 pm

I’d be happy to get together with you guys and share a bottle of whiskey, we’re a bit scattered around though, I guess as an ex-Brit I still haven’t quite got used to the distances here. No puns from me tonight, I was working in the hot sun all day and I’m a bit bummed out and brain dead but it will pass. The result though is that I’m a real genuwine redneck! [and back]

Just Another Richard August 22nd, 2008 at 10:03 pm

As another Ex-Brit, now living in the sun, I wear the epithet with pride :)

As to your being burned out Lig, I was in the same condition yesterday, after a full day doing a hard job, I was grateful to let my son drive us home, so much so that I didn’t even wince when he got too close to other cars…you know how us long time drivers make such wonderful passengers when the young get behind the wheel.

We can even let him tell us “I told you so” several times

And I’ll be happy to do so, truth be told.
Conservatives will have two good reasons to get toasted if McCain wins; sheer relief that Obama lost, and utter dread of what McCain will do. Yup, this bourbon tour is sounding like a good idea. :)

I’m sorry you’ve had a bummer day Lig. Read some poetry and drink some wine and pretend you’re a liberal and go into denial for 24 hours.

(My neck is redder than yours!) 8-)
