Barack Obama’s Word, What Is It Good For? (Absolutely Nuthin’)

“Senator Obama has not honored the promises he gave me when we met in 2006 and in his earlier letter to the school,” Principal Obiero has told the London-based, conservative tabloid EveningStandard. “He has not given us even one shilling. But we still have hope.”

“He has not given us even one shilling. But we still have hope.”

I wonder how much “hope” will buy you in Kenya. Probably as much as it will buy in America. What is Obama’s word worth? At most, not any more than any other two bit politician. But he has campaigned on the premise that he is a different sort of breed. When will Americans realize that he is nothing of the sort?

His brother, his grandmother Sarah (who also lives in a hut), this Kenyan school, his Chicago constituents - they all know the truth about Obama and his useless hope. Does the rest of America have to find out the hard way too?

Enter Baldilocks, who lives in a rough area of Los Angeles, is the caregiver for an elderly relative and worries, like most people, about her bills. She hasn’t got millions and didn’t attend an Ivy League school.

But she was embarrassed by her fellow Luo-American, Barack Obama. She rushed to fill the financial void, forming a California nonprofit to funnel money to the African school. With a flair for drama, she named it “Save Senator Obama Kogelo School” and held a mini fund-raiser. She’s raised $3,500, so she’s a long way from the $750,000 she wants to raise within two years.
Obama vs. Baldilocks

And then there is Obama’s brother George. The Republicans in Texas ask what any logical person must wonder; if Obama can’t take care of his half-brother, how the hell can anyone believes that he cares about total strangers.

In the end, all anyone has with Obama is this “nebulous” hope. And hope don’t spend.

So that’s where Obama got his slogan from, his brother had ‘hope’ for help from him but now he stands on the corner asking passersby “Spare some ‘change’?”

If he’s not keeping his promises now, he’s never going to keep them. This election so reminds me of the Australian one last year where we had Kevin Rudd swept in on a wave of media slathering and gushing and now we read just today that the Australians who voted him in are disillusioned as it’s clear that he has kept few of the promises that mattered to the people (only the ones that mattered to the globalists and the far left, like signing the Kyoto Protocol). Obama will do the same to America if he’s voted in.

I wonder if he and Rudd went to some secret Soros class in tyranny. I know, ridiculous, but it is unnerving that so many countries have succumbed to socialism. It all seems too damn well orchestrated, as implausible as that suggestion is.

I read one moonbat who commented that he’d rather have a “good” society instead of a “good” economy. Has to be a product of America’s socialist school labs. The idiocy is stunning. He’ll be the one asking the hated capitalist to spare the dime that he begrudged them earlier.
