   I can just imagine all the lily livered liberals quaking in their Guccis at the sight of Sarah aiming that gun.
   As you probably know I try to avoid talking politics here in San Fran Toronto, but last night being so enthused about Sarah, at the end of an e-mail to one of my customers who has become, as often happens, quite a good friend, I mentioned that Obama just lost the election. This was his reply:

   ‘As for politics, I hope you are saying McCain lost the election. Why the hell would he pick an unexperienced woman who is pro NRA and anti-abortion? She will never win over any pissed off Hilary supporters. Stupid move.’

   Now this is a very smart guy and maybe he meant there are other women who would have been a better choice, but it amazes me as a blog nut how uninformed people are, and that’s what makes it such a struggle to combat the propaganda coming from the lefty MSM. I suppose you have to give the left their due, they were smart taking over the media and the education system, I guess the right were busy doing the important work in the world.

   That frightens me as well. A friend has coffee regularly with these retired democrats and they are all for Obama. All they are thinking is that their Medicare and other health needs will be met, totally oblivious to the fact that the ideology propelling socialized medicine will throw their “useless” non productive asses out to pasture to die. And as you say, being online, we can read of the Canadian and British experience of socialized health care. We know what is happening, but folks who only get their news from MSM are absolutely clueless.
   It sounds like your friend is ant-gun and pro-abortion. What is surprising, and might amaze him, is all the Hillary voters jumping ship for McCain/Palin. Which bewilders me and suggests that their support for a “woman” blinded them to the fact that Hillary is but another Alinsky Marxist graduate, just like obama.

   I think ‘pissed off Hillary supporters’ doesn’t even begin to describe the anger they feel towards the one who they see as an upstart with no experience and who only won because Hill underestimated his ‘Chicago mob skills’ in the beginning and they’d make a pact with Old Nick himself to get back at him. So there is some good in them!

   The commentator Ligneus mentions is obviously chewing sour grapes. It’s obvious that true Conservatives have been looking for someone to vote for. That we’ve had a leadership vacuum and nobody who stands for what we believe in.
   Zee, incredible that there are actually people who wanted a woman at all costs, just as there are people who want a black leader at all costs. What happened to policy?
   Despite all that, she’s a huge plus for us and whatever it takes to garner a bit of support away from the Obaminable is all good as far as I’m concerned.

   Obama and the left have little but contempt for the armed forces of the United States, for they can do what the left with all their leaflets, petitions and angry whining cannot.
