   Democrats wanted a bison and got Obambi, whose new ‘take no prisoners’ rhetoric in front of the VFW sounds like the Italian army in North Africa not the Desert Rats. Just imagine had Obama written “Dreams From My Grandmother” about a working-class white woman who moved to Hawaii sacrificing her all, stressing integration, conciliation, character, and hard work (all true), rather than future career-in-mind idealization and myth-making about a polygamist, alcoholic and absentee Marxist father? Had he done the former, he would have gotten a small advance, few sales — and now bankable proof of his character, rather than money, sales — and an embarrassing revelation of his PC credentials. Harvard Law Review is as essential to wowing a tiny irrelevant Eastern elite as it is meaningless to proving to mid-America that you can easily size up a thug like Putin, see through Euro-trash nonsense, or get some energy leverage back from the mullahs and House of Saud.

   That is beautiful, you are right, he is essential reading.
   Here is what I don’t get…

   I like Barack Obama. He’s a good father, husband, hard-working and refreshingly pleasant sort, enormously bright and a gifted speaker.

   How do you like Obama?Hard working or viciously ambitious? Goof father or good PR? Pleasant? His face is in a permanent sneer. Bright and gifted? So what. That ain’t rare.
   Probably just me, but I can’t conjure up any liking for a man who would destroy America, no matter how the package is wrapped.

   Your second link is distressing. The left and their muslim buddies are termites eating away at every liberty we have. So they want to strike at Ezra again? Seems to me to be a calculated assault by the christo-phobe after him now.

   I like Barack Obama. He’s a good father, husband, hard-working and refreshingly pleasant sort, enormously bright and a gifted speaker.

   Having just read your post on the sexual shenanigans of Obama’s friends, I would question his fitness to be a father.
   Michelle seems to think he’s a good husband
   Hard working? I don’t think he’s done any real work in his life. Refreshingly pleasant sort, I hear tell Al Capone could be that and anyway I find him unpleasant in the extreme
   Enormously bright, don’t make me laugh, just an ordinarily bright person would have better judgement in his choice of friends.
   A gifted speaker, like a trained monkey with a teleprompter, practically moronic when he has to think and speak at the same time.
   You can fool all the people some of the time……

   The Human Rights Courts here in Canada are the result of the well meaning dilettante Pierre Eliot Trudeau, an Obama like figure who wowed enough of the Canadian electorate in the sixties to become Prime Minister. I think it came partly from when before that time it was common for businesses to display signs such as “No Irish need apply”. But of course the left can’t make a sensible law to protect people from that kind of discrimination, they have to figure it so that any nut or mischief maker can cause all kinds of trouble and expense to others with no consequences or expense to themselves. Now that it’s the law of the land it would need I guess an Act of Parliament to get it changed so good luck on that. We really need a majority Conservative gov. An election is in the offing for the fall, fingers crossed.
