As I consider the situation, the only real way to combat such ignorant self-deception seems to be either death or institutions. Historically, it’s always been the progressive left who’ve been best able fight this. They find it easier to kill people (ovens) or stick them in institutions (gulag’s); the conservative right just pretty much let’s them rant on in ignorance. Sounds good to me.

It’s almost impossible to combat this level of ignorance and delusion. The scary part is that so many are so deluded that someone like Obama can get so close to winning the White House. This is why Sarah Palin is a true gift from Heaven, the antithesis of all that’s been going wrong in America for the last forty odd years.

What a silly comment. Because Alinsky happened to be a Jew doesn’t make all Jews complicit in his schemes. As for the neo-cons, among their number is Paul Wolfowitz, one of the most honourable men you could wish to find. He saw clearly that the problems of Islam in general and the Middle Eastern Arab countries in particular could not be allowed to get progressively worse as they had for the previous sixty years. These dysfunctional countries were oppressing their own populations, women in particular, exporting terrorism, treated the western democracies as an enemy to be destroyed and would be totally unable to change for the better themselves. Something had to be done before they inevitably progressed to possessing nuclear weapons. Wolfowitz and his confreres saw that the only way out of this downward spiral was to give them a chance of democratic rule instead of the despotic and criminal regimes that were in place. Unfortunately, certain countries such as those in ‘Old Europe’, specially France and Germany, China and Russia through misguided self interest and knee jerk anti-Americanism, were enabling and aiding countries such as Iraq through the corrupt UN oil for food program and through the supply of arms and nuclear technology. And so it was left to the Anglosphere to once again take up arms against totalitarianism as they had before to keep the world from slipping into another Dark Age.
