Creeping Sharia and the Diseases of Somali Muslim Refugees

Muslim cabbies whose religious beliefs go against driving passengers who carry alcohol have lost another round in Minnesota courts.

The Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday against the cabbies’ latest attempt to block penalties from being imposed when they refuse to transport passengers because they’re carrying alcoholic beverages.

An ordinance adopted by the Metropolitan Airports Commission last year revokes a cabbie’s license for 30 days for refusing to pick up a passenger for any reason at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. A second refusal brings a two-year revocation.

Somali Refugees

More than 100 Muslim workers were fired from a Greeley slaughterhouse today after refusing to report for work a day earlier in protest of the company’s refusal to allow a prayer break during the work shift.

Another 120 workers — most of them Somalis — broke ranks with the protesters, went back to work Tuesday and kept their jobs, JBS Swift & Co. officials said in a statement.

“This action is a direct violation of our collective-bargaining agreement,” Swift said of the walkout in a statement. “Employees were told failure to report to work when recalled would result in their immediate termination.”

Affected workers said they are seeking legal advice and hope to speak with city officials Thursday to see what they could do.

In a landmark settlement that could change the way Muslims are treated in the workplace, St. Cloud-based Gold’n Plump Inc. has agreed to allow Somali workers short prayer breaks and the right to refuse handling pork at its poultry processing facilities.

The federally mediated agreement is among the first in the nation that requires employers to accommodate the Islamic prayer schedule and the belief, held by many strict Muslims, that the Qur’an prohibits the touching and eating of pork products.

“For this group of Americans at this time in our nation’s history, this is a very important outcome,” said Joe Snodgrass, a St. Paul attorney who represented workers in the case.

The victories against muslim incursions into our western society are too few. The idiotic actions of Gold’n Plumb are enraging. This must be stopped. There must never, ever be accommodations made for Muslims. This company needs to suffer the consequences in their pocket book.
In the case of the ever increasing flow of muslim refugees, it goes beyond sharia law but straight to the health of our citizens. If we had any decent reporters, they’d be investigating and reporting on the diseases and sanitization practices of these somali muslims who handle our food.

    Good round up.
Why would anyone hire these people as a cabbie or anything else knowing they are going to behave this way?

They are also having problems in a Minnesota school. Last week, Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy (TiZA) and the Minnesota Department of Education in the controversy over whether Islam is being promoted at this public school. It just never seems to stop. These people are determined to bring their way of life here and to take over.

Tell me, why is it so hard to say noway nohow to the Muslim faith in a public school but easy to say no to Christian faith in the same circumstances? If you let one faith practice, then you must let all. What is the problem here?

I am afraid we know why, but we must continue to be vigilant and not let up.
    Good post RS.

    Hi Angie-

They are also having problems in a Minnesota school. These people are determined to bring their way of life here and to take over.

I’ve read of it. And amazingly, there is a reporter working on it still that has had the courage to investigate. What is grotesque is that it requires courgae to report the abuses islam inflicts wherever it raises it’s head.

Many answers to that. But I do think that those who wish to eradicate Christianity see islam as an instrument to do so., Socialism and islam are ideological twins and they work hand in glove to remove freedom

I am afraid we know why, but we must continue to be vigilant and not let up.
    Good post RS.

I couldn’t agree more. We have a hard and arduous way ahead of us. And thank you.

A bit O/T but on the same tack, did you see that Paul McCartney has been threatened with death if he goes ahead and performs in Israel for their 60th anniversary? He said no way he isn’t going to perform, good for him.

That’s great news, Zee. We will most assuredly see the same old liberal whine about how mean it was to fire these people, but if they are ever going to learn the American way and be able to succeed in our competitive world, they’re going to have to learn to do things differently to how they did it back home.
That’s only their perspective. America must stand up for her way of life or sit back and watch it destruct. Heartening news, even if there is plenty of the opposite!

Yikes. Unreal. Hadn’t heard that but good on him for having some backbone.

I agree. It is such a damn shame that so many we fight are native to this soil.

Heartening news, even if there is plenty of the opposite!

Agreed. And we must build on those victories. More companies will stand their ground if such strong stands become the norm.
