So if you don’t drink the Obama Kool-aid, if you don’t show proper obeisance to the Obama God, you will be punished, you will be ostracized, your voice will be silenced.
And as is expected from the Obama camp and their bought and paid for biatch, Joe Biden, when confronted by the voter fraud perpetuated by ACORN they lie, lie, lie.. Here are just a few links (with annotations) I’ve accumulated on ACORN. You decide who the hell is lying. But don’t ever expect the Obama-media sycophants to allow that truth to be broadcast.

MSNBC Teams Up With ACORN, ACLU, and La Raza : Stop The ACLU
MSNBC has launched a news project with a variety of left-wing special interest groups to boost their Election Day coverage and help viewers experiencing problems at the polls. One of the groups involved in MSNBC’s “Election Protection” project is the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now. ACORN has been involved in rampant voter registration fraud across the nation this election cycle and is actively supporting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama for president. “Our partnership with Election Protection will play a major role in NBC News’ ‘Making Your Vote Count’ coverage, said Phil Alongi, Executive Producer of NBC News’ Election Coverage in an Oct. 22 press release. “Not only will we be able to direct voters who are experiencing problems with a hotline to call, we will also have our team of reporters and producers follow-up on the information Election Protection is gathering.” When asked for comment about ACORN’s role in the project MSNBC spokesman Jeremy Gaines wrote Townhall in an email “this a question for them, not us.”

Pajamas Media » Why Aren’t the Feds Using RICO to Go After ACORN?
While the cavalry isn’t riding to the rescue even though they apparently have the means to do so, a group of Ohioans are. On October 14, the Buckeye Institute, whose membership includes former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, filed suit on behalf of two Ohio voters against ACORN and Project Vote/Voting for America. The suit is brought under the Ohio Corrupt Practices Act, a state law similar to the federal RICO act. Among its factual assertions are these developed in Congressional hearings: * From 2004-2006 ACORN has received $4.6 million in federal funds for its Housing Corporation. * ACORN has 150 subsidiary organizations with a total operating budget of over $110 million this year. * All the 150 subsidiaries operate from the top as a single enterprise, including the nonprofit Project Vote and the political operation known as Citizens Services. * Citizens Services has endorsed Barack Obama and has received over $832,000 from Obama’s campaign during the primary period for services. * ACORN and Citizen’s Services share the same board of directors. They also share office space in New Orleans. The suit documents numerous instances of in-state predicate acts, including the following: * Forgery, uttering forged documents, tampering with writings and records. * Harassing people to encourage them to register multiple times; bribing people to register multiple times; registering non-existent and clearly ineligible voters (like minors); registering the same person in multiple counties; providing fraudulent and forged documents. The suit documents numerous predicate acts committed by ACORN outside Ohio as well, specifically in Nevada, Indiana, Missouri, Colorado, Vrginia, Washington, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Mexico, Texas, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Carolina. The suit asks the court to take notice of the “lengthy and ubiquitous history of voter fraud, embezzlement, misuse of taxpayer funds” and concludes that ACORN’s pattern of fraud can no longer be dismissed a

October Surprise: Clinton Campaign Drops a Dime on Barack Obama « The Husaria
This letter is not intended as a response to the Obama campaign’s letter. However, in the interest of a complete record, and in contrast to the alleged minor procedural problems noted by the Obama campaign, the Committee wishes to bring to your attention information we have received evidencing a premeditated and predesigned plan by the Obama campaign to engage in systematic corruption of the Party’s caucus procedures. Compounding this blatant distortion of the caucus rules was an egregious effort by the Obama campaign to manipulate the voter registration process in its own favor, thereby disenfranchising countless voters. Finally, the Committee has received a vast number of reliable reports of voter suppression and intimidation by the Obama campaign or its allies. The Committee had 30 phone lines on Saturday to receive calls in its Las Vegas offices. These lines rang continuously from early morning until well after the caucuses concluded with reports from people who were victimized and who observed irregularities. The phone lines were so over-whelmed that many callers resorted to calling individual Committee staff cell phones to report that they could not get through. The Committee also received many similar calls at its national headquarters. The Committee is confident that any investigation into the conduct of the caucuses will be thorough, fair and in the interest of insuring that future Party caucuses will be as open and democratic as possible. ACORN INSTILLED FEAR: WORKERS – New York Post
Pushed to meet daily quotas and bullied by bosses if they didn’t, Ohio ACORN workers faked voter registrations, signed up people more than once, and even paid off registrants to keep from being fired, its canvassers told The Post. “Every day, there was pressure on us. Every single day,” said Teshika Elder, a Cleveland single mom of three who worked for ACORN this summer. “We had meetings every morning where they’d go over your quota; they’d yell at you if you were low,” said Elder, 21. “They’d sit us down and say if you didn’t do better, they’d suspend you. They’d say, ‘Try harder next time,’ [and] if you didn’t get it, you’d be fired.” Desperate canvassers sometimes resorted to trading cigarettes, cash and food in exchange for registrations, according to Elder and two other former ACORN workers, Jaymes Sanford, 18, and Selvin Cunningham, 23. Some voters were signed up more than once, and said that worried – or lazy – canvassers sometimes filled out bogus cards. The three workers were all fired after they and a dozen other canvassers were identified in a Cuyahoga County Election Board probe as having turned in multiple registrations for the same voters. The board, which estimates it got more than 8,700 suspect cards – with multiple registrations, bad addresses or phony information – from ACORN has turned the matter over to local prosecutors. “It was just little stuff – a dollar, a cigarette – given to people so that they’d register,” said Sanford, a former team leader.

Michelle Obama Had Ayers Speak In 1997 | Sweetness & Light
Michelle Obama, Associate Dean of Student Services and Director of the University Community Service Center, hopes bringing issues like this to campus will open a dialogue between members of the University community and the broader community. “Students and faculty explore these issues in the classroom, but it is an internal conversation,” Obama said. “We know that issues like juvenile justice impact the city of Chicago, this nation and — directly or indirectly — this campus. This panel gives students a chance to hear about the juvenile justice system not only on a theoretical level, but from the people who have experienced it.” As the article notes, Michelle Obama was the Director of the University Of Chicago’s Community Service program at the time. So this panel was surely her doing. She invited Mr. Ayers. Still, we all must be mistaken, since we have been repeatedly reassured that Mr. Ayers “was just a guy who lived in the Obamas’ neighborhood.”

Obama And ACORN – ‘It’s A Power Thing’ | Sweetness & Light
The stated purpose of Project Vote is to work within the system, using conventional voter mobilization drives and litigation to secure the rights of minority and low-income voters under the U.S. Constitution. However, the organization’s actions indicate that its true agenda is to overwhelm, paralyze, and discredit the voting system through fraud, protests, propaganda and vexatious litigation. In this respect, Project Vote is following the so-called “crisis strategy” or Cloward-Piven Strategy pioneered during the Sixties by Columbia University political scientists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. As a follow-up to their effort to collapse the welfare system in the 1960s, in 1983 Cloward and Piven founded the Human Service Employee Registration, Voting and Education campaign Fund (Human SERVE Fund). Its objective, they said, was to increase voter turnout among the poor. But unlike Project Vote, Human SERVE did not rely on conventional door-to-door canvassing, or even on the more effective method of registering people in food stamp and unemployment lines which Project Vote had pioneered. Rather, Human SERVE lobbied government officials directly to enact laws and regulations directing public employees to offer to register citizens applying for services at government agencies. This effort realized its grandest ambition on May 20, 1993, when President Clinton signed the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 — commonly called the “Motor-Voter Act.” It ordered every state to provide resources enabling people to register to vote at state agencies, at the same time they applied for drivers’ licenses, welfare, Medicaid and disability benefits. In June 2000, Cloward and Piven dissolved Human SERVE, leaving to ACORN and Project Vote the task of making the Motor Voter “crisis strategy” work at the polls. It did, in fact, fuel an explosion of fraudulent voters.

TheHill.com – Frank rebuffs GOP calls for ACORN hearings
House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) on Wednesday dismissed GOP calls for immediate hearings regarding a grassroots group’s alleged abuse of government funds as a political tactic to help John McCain. His comments come in response to an Oct. 14 letter, signed by Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), Financial Services ranking member Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) and Republican members of the committee, requesting that Frank call hearings on the activities of the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN) and the group’s alleged ties to fraudulent voter registration. “Recent press accounts have listed allegations of voter fraud in Ohio, Nevada and Florida among others,” the letter said. “Given the reliance of ACORN on millions of dollars of federal funding from the housing GSE’s [sic] and grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, it is imperative that the Financial Services Committee use its oversight authority to determine the accuracy of these reports.” Frank disagreed. “My Republican colleagues, in raising the issue of ACORN, which is unrelated to the subject of regulatory restructuring, have apparently decided to try to hijack the committee and turn it into an echo chamber in an effort help out the McCain campaign,” Frank said. “No legislation passed by the House has authorized or appropriated funds for ACORN.”

GayPatriot » State By State, Fraud By Electoral Fraud
Please note that I have updated this post, adding links discovered since first posting it. In my post on the complicity of Democratic officials in vote fraud, I addressed problems in just one state. As I began work on a larger post, exploring how such chicanery could help Obama steal the election, I realized I had such a wealth of information, it would be easier simply to list the stories state by state, providing links to the relevant articles. You’ll note that most sources are local papers and news stations or blogs, few are national media or the leading dailies. That is, while local media and blogs are covering this, the national media is downplaying it or downright ignoring it.

the “progressive” strategy to overtake our institutions from within
the “progressive” strategy to overtake our institutions from within …continues apace — this time through ACORN, who is endeavoring to cast doubt on the validity of representative democracy and free and fair elections. At least, that’s what Jimmie Bise argues: Let me restate something in this post.. ACORN has no intention for these illegal registrations to be voted on election day. Its aim is to create a crisis of confidence in our electoral system so that later it can claim that the system is “broken”. That goal is coming along quite nicely. The New York Times sets it up: Still, because Democrats have been more aggressive at registering new voters this year, according to state election officials, any heightened screening of new applications may affect their party’s supporters disproportionately. Let me remind you that the primary reason that heightened screening exists is because of rampant ACORN registration fraud in 2004 election. How’s our confidence in the election? Well, let’s ask this former judge (via Stacy McCain). Former state Supreme Court Justice Sandra Newman said Friday she has no confidence in the integrity of the electoral process in Pennsylvania as a result of the extensive voter registration effort by a community group with ties to Barack Obama. I’d say that ACORN is right on track. I needn’t repeat my argument that the aim of the New Left, having adopted “progressivism” as its retro face, and having strategically moved its base back into the Democratic party among the “liberals” it once spat at for being hopelessly bourgeois and unwilling to engage in the kind of immediate, violent happenings of the radical set, has been to soften the face of radicalism, reframe it as “moderate” by dint of empty populism, and to package it for the masses in a pleasing and “historically important” candidate — one who represents the apotheosis of the progressive strategem: a young, charismatic minority candidate who promises hope and change without having to answer to how he plans on br

YID With LID: ACORN WHISTLEBLOWERS EXPOSE NEW FRAUD
Nothing like getting the information straight from the horses mouth. According to Newsmax, four former employees of ACORN and of ACORN Housing Corp. have supplied sworn affidavits to the Consumer Rights League that provide eyewitness accounts of how the two organizations have commingled funds and resources, in apparent violation of federal law. By commingling the funds it is not only using government funds to push its liberal political agenda, but also it provided a smoke screen for some ACORN leaders to line their own pockets with your tax dollars:
-
- AHC employees were instructed to hide documents from federal auditors with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, HUD.
- AHC employees were instructed on “steering” loans to partner banks, including Chase (for loans in the New Orleans area) and Bank of America for other areas around the country.
- AHC National Field Director Lee Trujillo stated in the presence of several of these witnesses that “AHC and ACORN would be funded out of the same account.”
- AHC and ACORN have also shared “voter initiative money.”
- Internal AHC emails and other documents “clearly show that AHC is paying for lease space occupied by ACORN.”

American Thinker: How to Steal Ohio
Imagine: It is the very early morning of November 5, 2008. Despite all the predictions and polls, John McCain and Barack Obama are locked in an extremely close race for President of the United States. McCain made a furious comeback over the previous 3 weeks following the last debate where Obama fumbled several answers while looking tired. McCain’s momentum propelled him back into the race and in a furious last minute charge that involved spending more than $25 million in combined campaign and Republican National Committee ad money that last weekend surged to within just a few points of Obama by Election Day. Now, at 6:00 AM the following day, the race hangs on the results in just one state; Ohio. McCain leads by nearly 50,000 votes but suddenly, Ohio’s Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner announces that several thousand McCain absentee ballots have been disqualified while additional thousands of votes in Cuyahoga County were “discovered” to have not been counted. After several more hours of confusion — which included the discovery of more uncounted votes in heavily Democratic counties by the Secretary of State — McCain’s lead is gone and Obama is declared the winner of Ohio and the election.

One of the biggest issues? These voters didn’t need to show ID or proof of residency in order to cast their ballot.
We witnessed dozens of homeless people being driven to the polls, and none of them had to prove that they were Ohio residents. In fact, one man I spoke with was about to hop on a Greyhound bus to go back to Chicago.
We have been trying for a week now to get a comment from the Secretary of State to see how she plans on verifying the residency and identification of all these early voters. Despite numerous phone calls and emails, we have yet to be granted even just a ten minute interview.
Who I did speak with was the Director of the Franklin County Board of Elections. When I asked him what would prevent the homeless man from voting in Illinois just weeks after he cast a ballot in Ohio, he told me that their voter checks are “just county-to-county, we do not do state by state.”

SPREADING THE VIRUS – New York Post
TO discover the roots of to day’s economic crisis, consider a tale from 1995. That March, House Speaker Newt Gingrich was scheduled to address a meeting of county commissioners at the Washington Hilton. But, first, some 500 protesters from the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) poured into the ballroom from both the kitchen and the main entrance. Hotel staffers who tried to block them were quickly overwhelmed by demonstrators chanting, “Nuke Newt!” and “We want Newt!” Jamming the aisles, carrying bullhorns and taunting the assembled county commissioners, demonstrators swiftly took over the head table and commandeered the microphone, sending two members of Congress scurrying. The demonstrators’ target, Gingrich, hadn’t yet arrived – and his speech was cancelled. When the cancellation was announced, ACORN’s foot soldiers cheered. Editorial writers from Little Rock to Buffalo condemned ACORN’s action as an affront to both civility and freedom of speech. Editorialists also pointed out that the “spending cuts” the protesters railed against were imaginary – Gingrich proposed merely to slow the growth in some welfare programs and turn control back to the states. Yet ACORN had only just begun. Two days later, 50 to 100 of the same protesters hit their main target – a House Banking subcommittee considering changes to the Community Reinvestment Act, a law that allows groups like ACORN to force banks into making high-risk loans to low-credit customers.
