America, God Has Ceased to Shed His Grace on Thee

Mourning America

I mourn America. Her spirit, the spirit of liberty, is now in exile. It can not live in a land ruled by fools and strutting despots. My allegiance is to that American spirit and to the Constitution upon which all freedoms flow.

But to Barack Hussein Obama I pledge my unwavering enmity and sworn opposition.

We are a nation out upon a wicked sea without a captain. A pretender and a puppet will soon desecrate the White House. I will extend Barack Obama no grace. But I will use all the breath left in me to oppose all that  he is and all that  he stands for.

The office of the presidency has now become as devalued as  our dollar. I will extend to it and the man who will soon soil it not a modicum of respect. Because liars and charlatans and owned men deserve none. And owned you are Barack Obama, down to your atrophied soul and your bitter, brittle bones.

May the despair that you usher in to this once great nation rebound back to you in full measure.

The Battle is Over, the War Begins

But we are a long way from surrender. The battle is over, the war begins. The United States government now falls into the hands of the enemies of this country and civilization for a time or forever. And that is part of what the war is about. The country has been in the hands of people we disagreed with, but never in the hands of people whose views are as diametrically opposed to ours as anything in the Third Reich or the Kremlin. In their hands Federal power becomes enemy power. The more ineffective and tied up they are, the less damage they can do.

The battle against them must be twofold, first to limit the damage they can do while in power, and secondly to plan and prepare to retake Congress and then the White House in a coherent and orderly manner without the chaos and backbiting that has characterized the last year of this campaign. It will be all too easy to fall into the blame game and to let it devour us, too much of the conservative movement and the anti-jihad blogsphere is already fractured. The goal now must be to heal those fractures, to create unity around a single purpose, to liberate America again.

For my own part I do not recognize Obama as my President, nor will I refer to him as such. He has no legal right to serve in office nor has he won a legal election. Nor do his cronies have any right to serve in any position they are appointed to.

We have a long journey through dark lands ahead of us. Let us hope to soon once again emerge into the light. (Sultan Knish)

    Brilliantly said as always, my passionate sister-in-arms. I’m adding in a link to this too. There’s nothing more to be said but that this is an unmitigated disaster, and the pigswill that’s on the rise threatening to drown us is truly dank, but somewhere in there, there is hope. We have to reach for it.

    Well Zee, you were right and I was wrong, enough of the American people were fooled by the now charlatan in chief. The only hope is that he changes enough to do what he thinks will keep him in power, slim hope at that, his judgement is as flawed as that of all the other useless dhimmicrats that have held or nearly held power. The only up side is that it gives the Republicans the time and the needed kick up the ass to get their act together, start to be real Republicans and not let the Dims get away with the crap they shovel out like in the campaign. What’s the betting though that every time Obambi screws up they’ll try to make it Bush’s fault?

    And the schism that made us impotent and produced John McCain will deepen I fear. Actual conservatives speak of purging the party of RINOs, while the RINOs are intent of amputating the “evangelical base” and the “social conservatives”. And we really don’t have the time to deal with such a rift. We have to be able to put up a united front and offer damn strong resistance for what comes our way. My first concern is free speech, followed closely by guns and parent rights. Take away those three and there are no Repubs, no conservatives, no evangelicals.

    And I didn’t ever want to be right Ligneus. Perhaps because you are from an era where backbone and honor were far more generously distributed than mine, your faith arose from that. Me, an ex-druggie and old hippie recognized well the sinkholes the left traps their adherents in. I have no faith in this despicable generation of boomers who make asses of themselves trying to cling to youth. I have no faith in a culture saturated with the need for instant gratification, who idolizes criminals and thugs and has contempt for life. I had no faith in my fellow Americans because I knew those from the “greatest generation” are long gone and we are left with the detritus; the Millennials, the x,y generation – all totally bereft of morals and thoroughly inculcated by the Frankensteins who dispense “education”.

    I don’t know Lig. I’m not happy that my lack of faith in my fellow citizens turned out to be justified. But yours still is the better position to hold. And, God willing, maybe four years from now, you’ll be proven right.

    Thank you Aurora,
    I’ve actually thought of you frequently, knowing what you have had to endure down under. Realizing, by observing your fortitude, that you can endure. You fight on. You persevere.

    It isn’t a fight I have ever thought to train for.I feel rather like I am being raped. The horrid vulnerability of being defenseless against an attacker. Exposure, betrayal, the irrevocable line that is crossed when mind and body is violated. Because life swerved and you lay bloodied and you rise up from that a different person. Or you never get up again. It is a choice. Always is.

    And I know that scares the hell out of liberals. Making choices, conscious choices means and implies accountability, responsibility, judgment and decisions and consequences. Obama removes the burden of choosing.
    Because we Americans have lived so long on borrowed freedom, we had no idea of the weight of it, no understanding of it’s mechanics and necessities. And no longer developed the muscles and will to bear it.

    I simply have never imagined freedom gone from America. (Though I did have one repeating nightmare about it throughout my teen years, but that’s another story) Never could have fathomed half of us would gleefully give it up.

    What is so nauseatingly ironic is that the Obamanite’s behavior replicates the Christian fervor the left has denounced and ridiculed for decades. How they mocked the Billy Grahams, the tenthouse meetings and revivals. How very useful the fervent preachers and stodgy, pasty-faced Christians have been for comedy and satire.

    At least God and Christ have a history, they been around for a few thousand years, against all odds when you think about the centuries of abused heaped on them. But to award a mere mortal adulation and unconditional faith is just beyond comprehension. And they berate Christians for faith in unproven deities, and what other have they done but chosen to worship an unknown unproven husk of a man.

    And their worship has no dignity, their blubbering reeks of hysteria, they are as foolish looking as gibbering pre-teens drooling over a teen idol.

    Well, an idol is what they have made of the Obamanite and if I recall my scant biblical knowledge, idols are not suffered long.

    If you like free speech, I’m guessing you don’t consider flag burning to fall under that. Well I do, and worry about my freedom of speech daily under any administration. I think the next four years will be hard, but I have new hope that America can recover.

    Things are going to be fine. Stay vigilant.

    Well,Eric, I do not like the flag burned anymore than I like those who denigrate the significance of the Holocaust, but to make it illegal, as Europe has with Holocaust denial, is just plain wrong.

    I, like you, worry about free speech, have been for a few years, watching Europe and their willingly sacrificing speech to appease islamists, Steyn’s experiences in Canada, along with the UN pushing speech controls – all foreboding – now down right threatening since Obama is in – though I had no faith that McCain wouldn’t attempt to curb speech as well.
    I am glad you have hope, don’t know why, but someone has to have it. I know I will fight as best I can for America’s recovery, but our decline didn’t start with Obama and will take decades to undo.
