Truth Be Told: Calling a Spade a Spade

In response to my recent post, The Nigger Rich Administration, a commenter said “Dahyum, FINALLY someone articulates what I have been thinking!!”. And that is what I have to say about the comment I quote below , left by a reader in response to Ruben Navarrette Jr.’s idiotic “Black President, White Fears“.

It’s a damn shame when truth has to dodge politically correct bullets in order to get said. In writing my post, I hesitated using the term “nigger rich” and I have come to recognize that as my default-liberal, knee-jerk reaction to issues of race, a subject that has, in my life, always been framed in terms of evil white folks hanging on tenaciously to their power to the detriment of all others. Which is quite simply idiotic. As if the lure of power only seduces whites. Just like the idea that racism is inherent only in whites, but alien to blacks.

All races have been persecuted. All races have been slaves and have enslaved others. But as far as I know, only the white race has ever freed another race  and done the hard work on integrating a minority  into the social fabric. And is the white race supposed to apologize for basically ending up on top after a couple thousand years? The scales could quite have easily tipped the other way I imagine, and I’ll be damn if I am going to apologize for what whites have achieved. Nor am I going to apologize for the evil that our power may have perpetuated because that same power has swept mankind to the heights of civilization as we now know it and the crowning pinnacle of the West’s achievements are best represented in the United States of America.

And I am quite tired of trying to pretend that isn’t true. And that is why I say to this comment below; “Dahyum, FINALLY someone articulates what I have been thinking!!”.

There is a crucial misconception here: Taken as a race the “white race” has created the greatest civilization in history. Taken as a race The black race is welcome to join us, cherish that civilization and humbly add their contributions to it. They are not welcome to aid in its destruction. They are not welcome to be treated as a pampered and protected race. They are not welcome to exaggerate the rather meager and superficial contributions that they have heretofore made to this great civilization. They are not welcome to immiserate us all or degrade our civilization because of events that took place 300 years ago, or imagined slights which occurred yesterday. They are not welcome to force us to squint our eyes and pretend that things are other than they are. They are not welcome to imagine that anyone on this earth owes them anything other than the respect that they earn for themselves. They are welcome to act like reasonable, responsible adults and decent citizens. They are welcome to grow up and sober up.

The black experience in history is not any more burdened by oppression and suffering than any other race or ethnic group, as the Celtic experience in the British Empire and America can well attest too. African Americans need to face this clear and simple truth.

The Democrat party has cynically seized upon the Black race as a weapon to attack Western Civilization, just has their coreligionists in the EU have now seized upon Muslims toward the same end. In actual fact, there has been no other race or ethnic group in this country that has been so indulged or coddled as African Americans. [Zee: I would suggest the new ethnicity - gays - are fast closing in.] Our collective inability to confront the adolescent, childish and profoundly neurotic sense of grievances and entitlement that the African American community carries around with themselves–a collective neurosis that we would not tolerate from any other group–has cost us dearly. This “protected race” status of Afro Americans has done great damage: We have perverted our educational system with pseudo-knowledge, cant and lowered standards to “accommodate” them. In the case of Affirmative Action, we have ignored the constitution and thus broken our covenants with past and future generations. We have forced ourselves to live lies. We have tolerated lies about our civilization and race which distort and degrade it and us.[Zee: And I would suggest that these lies are perpetuated, in large part, by self-loathing whites, as this "Diversity Course" forced down students' throats at the University of Delaware amply demonstrates. Just one of thousands of "institutes of higher learning" that practice indoctrination instead of enlightenment.]

Now we may pay the ultimate price for our indulgences, we have elected an Affirmative Action President who has an Affirmative Action Wife, both of whom, to the extent that they comprehend them, hate this nation, hate it its creators, hate it laws, hate it culture, hate is traditions and, above all, hate the great civilization from whence the nation arose. The Republic may not survive them and the puppet masters that pull their strings.

Because here is the deal. Pigment does not a soul or heart make. Ideology, however, is a whole other matter. And the totalitarian ideologies of Marxism, black separatism, white supremacism, or muslim hegemony withers those souls and hearts, no matter what skin color sheathes them. As far as I can tell, the foul nest of vipers that Obama has surrounded himself with are mostly white. They receive the full thrust of my enmity as well. Because for me it comes down to our inalienable freedoms as articulated by our Constitution and endowed to all by the Judeo-Christian God. I don’t care what race you are, you are not prying my freedom out of my bitter, clinging hands.
