Hey Obama, Did You Miss all of the Imans Preaching Death to Jews and Christians Too?

I’m curious Obama, given you have invested so little scrutiny into a twenty year relationship with your spiritual advisor Jeremiah Wright, what will be your excuse when jihad goes down in America during your watch? That you didn’t know that Islam teaches annihilation of the West?

There are literally thousands upon thousands of Islamic doctrines and treatises testifying to their ultimate goal of caliphate, but I imagine that the liberation theology that you are undeniably steeped in omitted mentioning the enmity of Islam towards the West. What I fear from you Obama is that our enemy’s rhetoric somehow fails to set off any alarms, just like Pastor Wright’s rhetoric is below your radar. But here are two quotes, by way of example.

It seems silly to suggest to a man of your indoctrination education that you do a few googles, but hey, you’re distracted, right?

Obama’s World:Collectivist Myths and Racial Prejudice

This piece gives some insights into the ideologies that govern men like Obama. Most Americans are quite unfamiliar with tribalism and collectivist thought, let alone Marxism. Or I should say, those Americans who do not claim to be “Progressives”. For Obama’s and Hillary’s side of the aisle, this is a plank in the politics upon which they stand.

One of the most effective Marxian methods of argument has been to claim that what appears as reality is in fact illusion. For over a hundred years, Marxists have insisted that such bourgeois freedoms as freedom of speech and press, and the right of contract and exchange, hide from view what is actually a slave society.

Capitalism, the Marxists have insisted, creates the impression of equality and liberty. But beneath the surface, they say, there resides the true social relationships — those which are determined by ownership of property,… Those who possess control over the means of production are the masters who rule over others. The slaves are the workers who must pay tribute to the owners of property in the form of capitalist profits. Hence, rather than a society of freedom, the Marxists say, capitalism is a social order of exploitation.

This is an extremely powerful tool of argumentation. No matter what evidence is presented as a response, the Marxist can always reply by referring to the shallowness of the anti-Marxist who has been fooled into seeing only what the ruling capitalist class wants people to see. The critic of Marxian analysis has been brainwashed by a “false consciousness” that blinds him from seeing the real class relationships and class conflicts that permeate and dominate the society.

A similar type of argumentation now permeates discussions in the United States concerning race and race relationships. Equal treatment before the law, and equality of opportunity in the marketplace, it is said, create the illusion that ethnic minorities, and black Americans in particular, are free. But it is said, this hides from view the inherently race-determined society that prevails in our country.

Obama’s Real Supporters Must Move to the Back of the Bus…For Now

This is tiresome. This entire election is about race now? In case this is also news to you Obama, that freaking war has already been fought on American soil, and the slaves were freed and Americans have more than paid with blood and coin. It’s about time you start disabusing your people of the notion that blacks are separate and victims. How dare you speak of unity when “liberation theology” is one of the tenets of Marxist indoctrination by which you gained purchase to your present chunk of national turf.

So please hush your lying mouth, Obama. Your entire campaign has been insulting enough, do we really have to go through the charade of a race lecture from someone who personifies race card politics? How can any one take any of your protestations seriously when every character in your Obama Drama has to do a two step of equivocation in their support of you.

They remain loyal but apparently understand that they need to step to the back of your campaign bus, so to speak.

Now, Mr. Obama is no dummy. Following the Cohen outing of this information in the Washington Post, Obama’s aides issued the following statement on his behalf: “I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan. I assume that Trumpet Magazine made its own decision to honor Farrakhan based on his efforts to rehabilitate ex-offenders, but it is not a decision with which I agree.”

Yes, Mr. Obama distanced himself. Even Mr. Farrakhan understands why. As Farrakhen said recently on ABC’s Nightline: “I like him very much. …He has a fresh approach…If avoiding me would help him to become president, I’d be glad to stay in the background.”

Obama’s Kenyan grandmother has joined the two step also, first asserting she is Muslim until realizing declaring such might imperil her grandson’s election chances.

Obama’s grandfather had converted to Islam from Roman Catholicism and taken the name Hussein, Sarah Obama said, but his children had inherited only the name, not the religion. Each person should be able to choose how they worshipped, she said.

“In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents,” she said. She, too, is a Christian.

Just one little problem with this statement.

In April of last year, Sarah Hussein Obama told the New York Times she is a devout Muslim.

Sarah Hussein Obama, who is his step-grandmother but whom Mr. Obama calls his grandmother, still rises at 5 a.m. to pray before tending to her crops and the three orphans she has taken in.

And now your Trinity church has attempted to make their formerly blatant proclamation vaunting their “black value system” a bit more difficult to find on their web site. And we won’t even begin to go into your anti-semitic brood of foreign policy advisors. You managed to kick Samantha Powers off the bus, but will the rest of them fit in the back?

You will continue to fool some Obama, but I do believe Americans are starting to get the scent of your game. And, as it is Obama, there are many, many more Marxists and socialists in your closet. You can’t shove them all to the back of the bus for the duration of your campaign. But your behavior will resonate with your muslim relatives and terrorist supporters who know very well how taqiyya is played

Obama and His Pastor Jeremiah Wright

I suggest that you read the entire article as it also highlights the radical left political ideology espoused by Saul Alinsky, a man that Obama has admired and whose tactics he has himself employed. This excerpt about Obama and the Trinity church speaks for itself.

Denouce all you wish Obama. The evidence of your ideological breeding are ample. An honest American can’t help but be appalled at not only your so-called spiritual roots, but your political roots as well.

On a Sunday morning two weeks before he launches his presidential campaign, Obama is at Trinity United Church of Christ on the South Side, gently swaying from side to side under a giant iron cross. From the outside, the church looks more like a fortress than a house of worship, with high whitewashed brick walls topped with security cameras. Inside, Trinity is the sort of African American community that the young Obama longed to connect with when he first came to Chicago. The church’s motto is “unashamedly black and unapologetically Christian,” and sunlight streams through stained glass windows depicting the life of a black Jesus. The Reverend Doctor Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., Trinity’s pastor since 1972, flies a red, black, and green flag near his altar and often preaches in a dashiki. He has spent decades writing about the African roots of Christianity, partly as a way to convince young blacks tempted by Islam that Christianity is not “a white man’s religion.”

On this particular Sunday, the sea of black worshippers is dotted with a few white folks up in the balcony, clutching copies of The Audacity of Hope they’ve brought for Obama’s book-signing later. Obama, sitting in the third row with his wife and two daughters, Malia and Natasha, stands, claps, prays, and sways along with the rest of the congregation. During the sermon, he watches the preacher carefully and writes notes. When asked by Wright to say a few words, Obama grabs the microphone and stands. “I love you all,” he says. “It’s good to be back home.” The 150-person choir breaks into a chorus of “Barack, Hallelujah! Barack, Hallelujah!”

Wright was unimpressed. “They were going to bring all different denominations together to have this grassroots movement,” explained Wright, a white-haired man with a goatee and a booming voice. “I looked at him and I said, Do you know what Joseph’s brother said when they saw him coming across the field?’” Obama said he didn’t. “I said, Behold the dreamer! You’re dreaming if you think you are going to do that.’”

From Wright and others, Obama learned that part of his problem as an organizer was that he was trying to build a confederation of churches but wasn’t showing up in the pews on Sunday. When pastors asked him the inevitable questions about his own spiritual life, Obama would duck them uncomfortably. A Reverend Philips put the problem to him squarely when he learned that Obama didn’t attend services. “It might help your mission if you had a church home,” he told Obama. “It doesn’t matter where, really. What you’re asking from pastors requires us to set aside some of our more priestly concerns in favor of prophesy. That requires a good deal of faith on our part. It makes us want to know just where you’re getting yours from.”

After many lectures like this, Obama decided to take a second look at Wright’s church. Older pastors warned him that Trinity was for “Buppies”–black urban professionals–and didn’t have enough street cred. But Wright was a former Muslim and black nationalist who had studied at Howard and Chicago, and Trinity’s guiding principles–what the church calls the “Black Value System”–included a “Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness.’”

The crosscurrents appealed to Obama. He came to believe that the church could not only compensate for the limitations of Alinsky-style organizing but could help answer the nagging identity problem he had come to Chicago to solve. “It was a powerful program, this cultural community,” he wrote, “one more pliant than simple nationalism, more sustaining than my own brand of organizing.”

As a result, over the years, Wright became not only Obama’s pastor, but his mentor. The title of Obama’s recent book, The Audacity of Hope, is based on a sermon by Wright. (It’s worth noting, however, that, while Obama’s book is a coolheaded appeal for common ground in an age of political polarization, Wright’s sermon, “The Audacity to Hope,” is a fiery jeremiad about persevering in a world of nuclear arms and racial inequality.) Wright is one of the first people Obama thanked after his Senate victory in 2004, and he recently name-checked Wright in his speech to civil rights leaders in Selma, Alabama.

The church also helped Obama develop politically. It provided him with new insights about getting people to act, or agitating, that his organizing pals didn’t always understand. “It’s true that the notion of self-interest was critical,” Obama told me. “But Alinsky understated the degree to which people’s hopes and dreams and their ideals and their values were just as important in organizing as people’s self-interest.” He continued, “Sometimes the tendency in community organizing of the sort done by Alinsky was to downplay the power of words and of ideas when in fact ideas and words are pretty powerful. We hold these truths to be self-evident, all men are created equal.’ Those are just words. I have a dream.’ Just words. But they help move things. And I think it was partly that understanding that probably led me to try to do something similar in different arenas.”

I do not have the exact link, but I found this video over at DPGI v.3, a great blog worth a visit. It nails so many areas where the differences between Americans and amerikkans are far beyond “nice talk” and “mutual understanding”.

If Only the Elections Actually Mattered

It’s true. This election is but a distraction from the real evil that besets this nation. Evil set in motion decades ago and, short of the second coming, unlikely to be reversed or overcome by this election. Feckless, power hungry politicians perform on a stage that might as well be set up on the deck of the Titanic. They are as hapless to prevent the coming catastrophes as the captain on that doomed voyage. If anything, America’s ruling elites are positioning us to run directly towards the iceberg.

I was just reading about Condoleezza Rice’s latest obsequious behavior before her muslim overlords (this fresh from the travesty that is Kosovo where we handed islam yet another nation to subjugate) and I can’t help but think that, like Europe, America’s elite are more than willing to use islam as proxy. Why facilitate the ascent of a totalitarian and repressive ideology unless you feel that you can wield it to help suppress a restive population?

Be it here or in Europe, those who value national sovereignty, those citizens who commit the sin of patriotism, who have the nerve to defend their nation’s traditions – we have become the impediments to a global order designed to suppress those very things.

In the end, who will devour the other first; the minions of allah or the minions of the left? It will not matter much to the likes of me. I suspect us common folks were written out of the script before we were ever born.

And you know, I can’t help but think of all the children that this nation has aborted who might have risen up with the moral rectitude and power to defend America. I know, nothing to do with the topic at hand…but then again, if a people fail to revere life, whose only objective is expediency and ease, whose vision does not extend past pleasure and whose spirit embraces death, what can be hoped for from such a people?

It’s important to keep either Democrat from winning. But it’s not as important as many people think it is, and the long-term effect on the political momentum of this country will be minimal.

The permanent political class in America has nailed our rudder in place, and the ship of state is headed in a direction that will not easily be changed. The media focus is on the presidential candidates, and the big horse race, and who’s in and who’s out, but the real decisions are always being made by others. Congress, the Federal Reserve, the nameless functionaries in the permanent bureaucracy, the mandarins of the MSM who determine what the average American believes about what’s happening — these are the people who control the direction the country is headed in.

Without a leader of real character in office, the presidency is just a bit of froth on the surface of things.

…none of the major candidates for President is addressing the most important and pressing problems that face us. Continued mass immigration and the imminent collapse of the New Deal/Great Society welfare state are our most urgent issues.
Ten years from now these problems will be cutting through our national politics like a scythe, and the issues which are preoccupying us today will be forgotten.

And none of the major presidential candidates has addressed these grave threats in any serious fashion.

Sarah Palin For McCain’s VP?

I’ve avoided blogging about McCain. It’s too depressing. In fact, the only way McCain is going to be palatable is if I keep focusing on his socialist opponents.

I might pay a bit more attention to McCain if he chooses a running mate that is, well, unlike him. One name apparently touted about is Sarah Palin, the conservative governor of Alaska. I really do not have much faith in women politicians either but this woman doesn’t sound like an embittered femi-nazi still bitching about glass ceilings.

Yet another national talk-show host seems very pleased with the idea of Sarah Palin becoming our next Vice President. This time, it’s Laura Ingraham. During a discussion of the Veepstakes Monday morning, Miss Ingraham was considerably less than impressed with almost all of the VP possibilities being floated in the media. The notable exception, however, was a certain Governor from the Last Frontier.

Gov. Palin is clearly the only VP candidate who can cement McCain’s support in the conservative base AND make the ticket more appealing to independent voters. Most of the other names being thrown around can only perform one of those tasks, but there is one candidate can do both. Her name is Sarah Palin.

The problem is she is about ready to deliver her fifth child. I can see the liberal feminists sputtering as they try to derail a possible VP run by somehow implying that a woman with an infant couldn’t do the job. Normally, I ‘d agree, but if this woman has accomplished as much as she has in her career while raising four other children, my guess is that motherhood hasn’t been an impediment.

Bitch Slapping the Taliban: Trouble in the Hood

Al-Qaida supporters on the Web have unleashed an unprecedented flood of criticism of Afghanistan’s Taliban, once seen by extremists as the model of an Islamic state.

Now extremists accuse the Taliban of straying from the path of global jihad after its leader Mullah Omar issued a statement saying he seeks good relations with the world and even sympathizes with Shi’ite Iran.

In February, the Taliban announced it wanted to maintain good and “legitimate” relations with neighboring countries. Then, last week online militants were outraged when the movement expressed solidarity with Iran, condemning the latest round of sanctions imposed on Teheran by the UN Security Council over its nuclear enrichment.

The Shi’ite Islamic state of Iran is viewed as anathema by the Sunni militants of the al-Qaida and other extremist movements.

“This is the worst statement I have ever read … the disaster of defending the (Iranian) regime is on par with the Crusaders in Afghanistan and Iraq,” wrote poster Miskeen, whose name translates literally as “the wretched” and who is labeled as one of the more influential writers on an al-Qaida linked Web site.

Exposing Obama One Post at a Time….

Obama Watch is an excellent resource for information on Obama that the mainstream worshippers press, for some reason, just doesn’t want to chat up very much.

This excerpt is from Todd Spivak who claims to have “known Obama for a long time and knows a different Obama from the one you see now. Obama is not the nice guy he seems.”

“A close examination of Obama’s first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career,” wrote Tribune political reporters David Jackson and Ray Long. “The man now running for president on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it.” …..

“He’s been given a pass,” says Harold Lucas, the community organizer in Chicago. “His career has been such a meteoric rise that he has not had the time to set a record.” A week after my profile of Obama was published, I called some of my contacts in the Illinois Legislature. I ran through a list of black Chicago lawmakers who had worked with Obama, and was surprised to learn that many resented him and had supported other candidates in the U.S. Senate election. “Anybody but Obama,” the late state Representative Lovana Jones told me at the time.
State Representative Monique Davis, who attended the same church as Obama and co-sponsored several bills with him, also did not support his candidacy. She complained of feeling overshadowed by Obama. “I was snubbed,” Davis told me. “I felt he was shutting me out of history.”

In a follow-up report published a couple weeks later, I wrote about these disgruntled black legislators and the central role Senate President Emil Jones played in Obama’s revived political life. The morning after the story was posted online, I arrived early at my new offices. I hadn’t taken my coat off when the phone rang. It was Obama. The article began, “It can be painful to hear Ivy League-bred Barack Obama talk jive.”
Obama told me he doesn’t speak jive, that he doesn’t say the words “homeboy” or “peeps.” It seemed so silly; I thought for sure he was joking. He wasn’t. He said the black legislators I cited in the story were off-base, and that they couldn’t have gotten the bills passed without him. I started to speak, and he shouted me down.
Today I no longer have Obama’s cell phone number. I submitted two formal requests to interview Obama for this story through his Web site, but have not heard back. I also e-mailed interview requests to three of his top staffers, but none responded.

Summing Up a False Messiah

Right Wing News created “Everything You Need To Know About Barack Obama In A Single Video“. It’s amazing how easy it is to sum up a false messiah.

Pastor Jeremiah Wright, the New Black Panthers and Barack Hussein Obama

Certainly one can not condemn a candidate for the few whackos who might support them. But Obama’s natural constituency represents more than a few crazies. They seem to embody the essence of racial bigotry, the same vile bigotry that perpetuated slavery to begin with.

The human heart is very much an empty canvas, regardless of what skin color sheathes the body that houses it. Blacks who think like Jeremy Wright seem to think that, somehow, their hearts are impervious to the racism that they for so long have accused whites of harboring. It would seem that Obama’s so-called pastor has promulgated the same type of loathing that the slave masters that he so abhors possessed.

Now Obama will no doubt equivocate about his “crazy uncle” -I think that is how he put it – but this isn’t an old man’s doddering fulminations, it is a long standing creed upon which Jeremiah Wright built his church. It is what he has hand fed his congregation and one of the willing members of that congregation has been, for many years, Barack Hussein Obama. Jeremiah Wright’s preaching would send any freedom loving American out the door in disgust. It is not the man you allow to baptize your children. Unless, of course, you agree with it.

It is no surprise that Obama married a woman who disdains America as much as Pastor Jeremiah Wright. It is no surprise that Michelle Obama’s Princeton thesis reeks of the same “justice” rhetoric as the belief system of the pastor that joined she and Obama in marriage. So it is no surprise that we find an endorsement from the New Black Panthers on Obama’s site.

It’s bad enough that our enemies loathe America. Do we really have to entertain the thought of electing a man who agrees with them.

First he explains why the West won’t embrace Islam:

Why would the disbelievers and hypocrites hate for Islam to be implemented? Simply because they do not wish for their corruption, evil, crime, cheating, oppression, dishonesty, fraud, lies, tyranny, freedom, and deception to come to an end, and for justice (Islam) to prevail.

Did you catch that? Yes he said the West does not want FREEDOM TO COME TO AN END. There is no freedom in Islam. What a wonderful and desirable religion.

A combative Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters was accused in a Senate hearing yesterday of defying a congressional vote to halt the Bush administration’s controversial project allowing Mexican trucks to operate freely on U.S. roads. “I regret supporting your nomination to be secretary of transportation,” Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., told Peters. “Your legal counsel is giving you bad advice that unfortunately you have willingly accepted.” Dorgan charged the Department of Transportation was “hell-bent on proceeding with this pilot program” regardless of safety concerns the agency’s inspector general continues to document. “You believe you have found a loophole, but you are making a very big mistake,” Dorgan warned Peters. “This is a slap in the face of Congress,” he declared, “and your arrogance will have consequences.” (Source)

I hope to god there are consequences. It seems to be something that the “progressives” never suffer from. And spitting in America’s face is exactly their intent. But, as the show host remarked, this is how the rats will continue to dismantle our borders and rape us of our sovereignty; piece by piece, stealth bill by stealth bill.

Interesting what is happening while you’re not watching, America! This is the regionalization of the continent and the beginnings of the loss of your national sovereignty, just as the U.K. has lost theirs to the continent of Europe. Once you’ve got one military and one currency, not to mention huge cross-continental trade routes, everything else will end up being a formality. Obama, Get Over Your Black Self, Ferraro Was Right

A simple statement of fact:

Yet, listening to Matt Lauer interview the wanna-be president Obama, I was amazed to hear Obama say that Ferraro was engaging in “slice and dice politics that’s about race, about gender, about this and that…” He went on to say America was tired of it.

Yeah, Obama, we are damn tired of it and that is one of the very reasons I wouldn’t vote for you if you were the last man standing. You wouldn’t be where you are if it were not true that politics today is nothing but division and strife caused by exactly the type of “slice and dice” identity politics that you claim to eschew. It’s called multiculturalism and now you may reap what you and your socialist comrades have sewn.

Talk about cognitive dissonance. Is Obama so swept away by his own mythology that he actually believes that he is where he is because he has shown himself worthy of the job? Because of ground breaking legislation or an actual track record of achievements that can back up all his pomposity? Come on, how long can we play at “the Emperor Has No Clothes”?

Putting aside the absurdity that Obama seems to think that gay rights, transgender rights, black rights, latino rights, Indian rights and the whole ludicrous contingent of “identity” whiners he panders to are nothing but “slice and dice” politics in action. No, what is so amusing is that his web site provides ample evidence that he excels at “slice and dice”.

Ironically, I was working on a post about just this yesterday, making that exact point. His categorizations of Americans on his site more than demonstrates the splintered lens through which Obama sees this nation, if he sees Americans at all.

What the bloody hell ever happened to just plain old Americans? What a bunch of pretentious multicultural claptrap.

Leftist radical Saul Alinsky is often cited as an inspiration and influence in both Obama’s and Hillary’s political indoctrination. He quite clearly indicates which “slice” of America needs to be targeted to achieve political power.

Alinsky asserted that he was more concerned with the acquisition of power than anything else: “My aim here is to suggest how to organize for power: how to get it and how to use it.”

Alinsky advises his followers that the poor have no power and that the real target is the middle class: “Organization for action will now and in the decade ahead center upon America’s white middle class. That is where the power is. … Our rebels have contemptuously rejected the values and the way of life of the middle class. They have stigmatized it as materialistic, decadent, bourgeois, degenerate, imperialistic, war-mongering, brutalized and corrupt. They are right; but we must begin from where we are if we are to build power for change, and the power and the people are in the middle class majority.”

But that didn’t stop Alinsky and his followers from using the middle class for their own purposes. They counted on the guilt and shame of the white middle class to get what they wanted. In order to take over institutions and get power, the middle class had to be convinced that they were somehow lucky winners in “life’s lottery.”

That is the vein Obama adroitly taps into; white middle class guilt. For him to pretend the that his identity as an “african-American’ isn’t critical to his candidacy is utter crap. Without the skin, you have an intelligent, promising, but, unaccomplished politician. The stark salient fact remains that Obama is totally inadequate and unqualified to serve as president of the United States of America.

And it is exactly his skin color that he is depending on to repel all criticism and honest questions.

Yeah, Obama, please do quit talking about the “racist” tactics that you accuse your opponents employing and discuss any of the following:

Jews Against Obama offers a forum and blog and a good deal of material on Obama, In the video below, Chaim Ben Pesach questions why everyone is so afraid to query Obama about his Muslim father and the lineage that connects him with Islam.

In fact, he claims that Obama’s campaign is playing the censorship flagging game with their videos on YouTube, which, is to be expected. Go against the Progressive party line on most of these so-called social networking sites and the brown shirts will descend like a horde of locusts to devour every word that you offer. Debate? Not in their vocabulary.

So Obama is quite intent to disabuse the notion that he is in any way a Muslim, though even were he not, he adheres to a socialist vision that is just as claustrophobic and draconian as Islam. But then, he is doing his damnedest to obscure his true political roots as well. Wake up America. Skin color is not the issue here. Ideology and belief systems very much are.
It would seem that Muslims are, on the other hand, dismissing Obama’s disclaimers, at least Obama’s terrorist supporters have declared their ardent support.

I was ready to call it a night, but it’s not often that there is refreshing news for a change. From Bush no less. Well, it’s damn ridiculous that we even have to contend with something as vile as the Fairness Doctrine, but it is a small boon to the spirit that Bush is on the right side of, at least, this issue.

Supporters of this regulation say we need to mandate that any discussion of so-called controversial issues on the public airwaves includes equal time for all sides. This means that many programs wanting to stay on the air would have to meet Washington’s definition of balance. Of course, for some in Washington, the only opinions that require balancing are the ones they don’t like. (Laughter and applause.)

We know who these advocates of so-called balance really have in their sights: shows hosted by people like Rush Limbaugh or James Dobson, or many of you here today. By insisting on so-called balance, they want to silence those they don’t agree with.

The truth of the matter is, they know they cannot prevail in the public debate of ideas. They don’t acknowledge that you are the balance; that you give voice — (applause.) The country should not be afraid of the diversity of opinions. After all, we’re strengthened by diversity of opinions…..

The Amoral Elliott Spitzer: A Man Progressives Can Admire

A DimocRat, a Kos Kunt Diarist, a habitual user and abuser of prostitutes; what’s not there for a “progressive” to like. But never call Elliot Spitzer a hypocrite because, according to Kos, a distinct lack of morals (part of progressive theology) is not to be scorned but celebrated. If you abjure a moral code and situational ethics is an apt descriptor of your integrity, accusations of hypocrisy simply do not apply.

He may be a hypocrite if (as is presumable) he tells his wife he’s faithful to her, and he tells people that they should stay faithful to their spouses, etc. But politically, he’s not a hypocrite, and it doesn’t have it anything to do with his politics the way it does for some others who got caught.

You can’t even call it a double-standard for Republicans, because it’s the Republicans who make it an issue for themselves by claiming to have an iron-clad commitment to pbserving these kinds of taboos.

So, the Kos argument goes like this:

Democrats are all immoral sleazebags. And they are proud of it. So, when they get caught being sleazy, it’s not hypocritical — it’s to be expected!

Democrats stand for absolutely nothing, ipso facto they can not be hypocrites.

Claiming the moral high ground for the Democrats by pointing out that they’re already immoral, and thus aren’t hypocrites — man, that’s some bad kind of craziness.

This person should enter the Olympics on the Logical Gymnastics team.

See Spitzer is a Dem and Dems are there to help people. So Spitzer was in fact helping some women advance in their careers after being exploited by the male dominated capitalist system that wouldn’t allow them to advance. He was actually not exploiting women in the sex trade.

My Lefty brother-in-law explained this to me almost ten years ago. It goes something like this: Republicans are hypocrites because they “judge others” and because they say that infidelity is wrong…therefore if they cheat on their spouses they are hypocrites. And, to a Lefty there is nothing in the world worse than being a hypocrite.

Democrats, on the other hand, do not judge people and they never explicitly say that infidelity is wrong and therefore can never be hypocrites.

If you have no standards you can never be called a hypocrite.

Setting the bar low means you’re never disappointed.

Not to mention the fact that prostitution is a longtime “service industry” run by organized crime- specifically, la Cosa Nostra in NY, although in recent years (after the hiding the Respected took in the Eighties), the various South American-related gangs have been vying for turf there, and in D.C. and Chicago as well.

So, the Koslings are saying that not only is marital infidelity and prostitution jake with them- so is being mobbed-up.

/No, I don’t believe they’ve thought it through to that degree, as I have yet to see any evidence that they are actually capable of thought.

The United Methodist Church opened discussions last Friday on a resolution calling for divestment from Caterpillar, the tractor manufacturer, because the company supplies Israel with bulldozers used in building the separation barrier and in demolishing Palestinian homes.
