Double Dealing.

My Old Man [which is what we called my dad] was I guess what’s known as a ‘character’. If I need to illustrate his totally self centred beingness, I tell of one evening about 1953, we were watching a show on TV with Bing Crosby singing some song or other, and he remarked, “You know, unfortunately for Bing, I’ve never liked him”. He was also a story teller, aka a liar. He would lie sometimes for no apparent reason or advantage. The family solicitor, [lawyer] called him the most convincing liar he’d ever met. My mom on the other hand was as honest as Jesus himself, she would tell by way of example of ‘proper’ behaviour, of her father of whom it was said, ‘He is transparently honest’. So, genetics aside, I and my brothers, as their offspring had a choice as to which example to follow.
My dad’s mother who died when he was twelve was Spanish. This is her in 1908 with my one year old papa.

Next a pic taken in Deal which I have mentioned before, a seaside town in Kent on the south east corner of England, the skinny 12 year old in the dark school blazer is yours truly and the other boy is my brother, two years younger to the day than I.

One more and I’ll get to the point, my dad at 49.

OK, so my grandmother looks Spanish as does my dad but do you see a Middle Eastern look too, aka Arab Muslim? Given that Spain was occupied by them for several hundred years there must have been much interbreeding. Now connect Mohammed’s commands that it’s OK to lie and deceive for Allah, as in the case of a Hudna, which is a ceasefire only because they would be losing and it buys time to re-group to renew hostilities later. All that didn’t come from out of the blue, despite what Mohammed may tell you, it must have been normal practise for the Arabs for as long as they’ve been around, it was part of their genetic code so for Muhammed it was just part of the culture, nothing unusual. This is in part idle speculation and part accepting that there maybe some truth in it and given by dad’s penchant for lying could it have been part of his genetic code.?

Despite what the pessimists say, there is one industry that is still flourishing in the UK. It consists of Islamists establishing their own think-tanks and pressure groups. They serve little purpose other than to bestow legitimacy upon ill-informed, extremist Muslim speakers, who can then attend conferences and get media access under the façade of expertise.

This is a surprisingly easy bandwagon to jump on. Come up with an intellectual-sounding name for your organisation, buy a website domain and give yourself an impressive-sounding job title. This was the route taken by Hamas cheerleader Azzam Tamimi. He recently addressed the prestigious UK Defence Academy, is a regular contributor to the Guardian website, and once told the BBC that suicide bombing in Palestine “is the straight way to pleasing my God and I would do it if I had the opportunity”. He describes himself as Director of the Institute of Islamic Political Thought (IIPT). The domain registered to the IIPT says it has a website “coming soon” (it has been coming since 2007), but meanwhile offers you the chance to download Tamimi’s CV. What exactly it is that he is meant to be directing remains unclear. What is beyond doubt is that Tamimi uses the IIPT to try to couch his views in an aura of academic respectability.

Then there is Anjem Choudary, former leader of the banned extremist group Al-Muhajiroun, who according to CNN called the 9/11 terrorist attacks “magnificent” and boasted that “the black flag of Shariah will fly over Downing Street”. Choudary was a regular on the BBC in the wake of 7/7, last year spoke at the National Liberal Club on the need for Sharia in the UK, and calls himself a Principal Lecturer at the London School of Shariah. This consists of Choudary driving around east London trying to find people to preach his version of Sharia to. It is probably the first, and only, school in the world to be based in the back of a van.

I wonder when the left, Academe, the MSM, Obama, all the usual suspects are going to factor this into their dealings with Islam.

I think we all piled in on you a bit on this one so this is just to say sorry for taking you to task so much but also to point you to a post by the one and only Dr. Sanity who I respect immensely. A number of times over the last year I’ve been met with complete incredulity by lefty acquaintances when I’ve stated that Obama is not very smart. [Well I'd put it a little more strongly than that] They’d cite for instance his editorship of the Harvard Review while missing that there is nothing written by him contained therein. And so it is with everything in his life, from his birth certificate, his high school grades and university results to his voting record in the Senate. They might cite his two well received memoirs while missing what might prompt one so young to think he’s important enough to write them and of course not knowing that they were in fact ghost written by Bill Ayers the well known terrorist. So it’s good to see this from Dr. Sanity:

Political Islam’s Bill Warner was a guest on Always on Watch yesterday, providing an hour packed solid with analysis and information, though all of it unnerving. All the more so given the white flag obama has raised to the muslim world. As Bill comments near the end of the show, he fears our present government more than he does the islamists.

The term “antisemitism” just doesn’t cut it. It sounds so innocuous. What is emerging represents centuries of enmity erupting again, a mere 60 years after the Holocaust, the holocaust that Ahmadinejad has labeled a Jewish ruse, a lie foisted on the world by the West, Yes, this is the man to whom Obama extended a hand. Pigs Fly: ACLU Sues Muslims

The American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota filed suit Wednesday against a publicly funded charter school alleging that it is promoting the Muslim religion and is leasing school space from a religious organization without following state law.

The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis against Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy, known as TIZA, and the Minnesota Department of Education, which the ACLU says is at fault for failing to uncover and stop the alleged transgressions. The suit names the department and Alice Seagren, the state education commissioner, as co-defendants.

Muslims in Prison: An Army in Waiting?

Australian Muzzie Ran Drug Ring from Jail Cell

A convicted murderer allegedly made about 460 calls a day on a smuggled mobile phone as he coordinated a $250,000-a-week drug trafficking syndicate from his maximum security jail cell.

Bassam Hamzy, 29, who is serving a 21-year sentence for murdering a man outside a Sydney nightclub, allegedly made more than 19,000 calls from inside Lithgow prison, west of Sydney, between May 1 and June 11 this year.

Most of the calls were made in Arabic, to a syndicate of 12 close friends and family members who allegedly shifted $1.5 million worth of cocaine and ice from NSW to Victoria in six weeks.

Islam in Jail

Imprisonment is not much of a punishment for muslims. These are not people who particularly value freedom. I am quite certain that every sizable prison is permeated with Islamists, so new prisoners will easily find solace and support from their fellow believers.  And as the article quoted above attests, it is feasible to continue illegal operations, be it the distribution of drugs or terrorist plotting. It is a damn shame prisoners are granted rights sufficient to allow this type of maneuverability. But that is the world we now live in. Evil is rewarded more often than not.

I have often thought that the huge Muslim population in America’s prisons might as well be a standing army, waiting for their killing orders. A couple of coordinated prison breaks in a specified region, timed to coincide with a terrorist attack, may not be as far fetched as it sounds.

For years, the Washington-based Center for Security Policy has been tracking the infiltration of U.S. prisons by agents of Saudi Wahhabism…The Center’s research (now confirmed by subsequent Senate investigations) has concluded that Muslim chaplains trained in and certified by Saudi-supported Wahhabi institutes in America have been accepted into our prison system by the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). This has led to fears that a dangerous Islamic “fifth column” is developing in our prisons with the unwitting cooperation of the federal government.

When you consider the possibilities, prison serves as fertile recruiting grounds for future members of Obama’s proposed domestic army. Under the guise of “social justice”, abetted by an existing network of Imans – a network already dedicated to arranging their converts’ “socioeconomic status and placement in the community upon their release” – Obama’s “National Civilian Corps” is a perfect fit. And God knows, it will make for fine editorial copy, just ooozing with redemption and “hope”. Young men saved from gangs and drugs, inspired by Islam, transitioned into their new life on the outside in service to Obama’s vision. Armed thugs, dedicated to the destruction of America sanctioned by the governement, in an organization that Obama has already declared he wants as well funded as America’s military. Yes, a nightmarish thought, but then, I expect nightmares to be the standard fare served up by the Obamanites.

Resisting Obama

I haven’t listened to Medved in quite awhile, and his post-election column confirms that I’ll be doing myself a favor by continuing to ignore him. He assumes the conciliatory and diplomatic postures held by far too many these past two weeks and I have had my fill of it.

One of the reasons the GOP suffered major reverses across the country involved the perception that they practiced more divisive and angry politics than did the Obama-crats, with his fuzzy, feel-good message of hope and change. By a wide margin, poll respondents identified McCain more than Obama as a candidate who spent most of his time attacking rather than offering a positive vision.

“…they practiced more divisive and angry politics”? Really? Damn, I always miss the good stuff. All I heard was McCain chiding his supporters for speaking “The One’s” sacred middle name and advising us that an Obama presidency is not to be feared. Like CAIR and Islamists, the Obamanites and appeasers evade responding to documented facts by condemning them as punitive, calumnious and divisive.

It reminds me of the mentality of those progressive “educators” who deride competition as hurtful. Everyone has to pretend that there are no superior players, that everyone is a winner. If an election between opposing parties fails to reveal the divisions wrought by conflicting ideas, what the hell is the point? Is that how we end up with an American Idol presidency?

Perhaps that is why I am feeling so lethargic of late – thus my absence here – the world has taken on this nebulous, twilight quality. On November 3rd, Obama’s lengthy list of radical affiliations, his documented socialist roots – starting with his communist mother and continuing via one mentor after another throughout his youth – all of this is no longer of any consequence after Nov 5th?
Inaugural Day will not sprinkle fairy dust on Obama. He will not walk through that White House portal and emerge a man miraculously transformed into an America-loving patriot of principle. He will still be Barack Hussein Obama.

Someone commented recently that I harbored harsh opinions about Obama. I responded, more or less, like this:
Primarily it is a position that has developed since 2001, not in response to Obama’s emergence on the scene, but in growing understanding of what the ‘isms of the left are, how they compliment many of islam’s tenets and how the convergence of both, parasitically using each other, could succeed in shrouding this country under a totalitarianism quite like what is slowly suffocating Europe and is now hunkering down over Canada. I have feared this chimera for a long time. Obama simply puts a face on it. For Obama, the collectivism and disdain for individualism inherent in Islam does not feel unfamiliar or uncomfortable as it is also characteristic of the Marxism he subscribes to.

Most of those who have been writing in the anti-jihad vein recognize the ideological affinity that both totalitarian systems enjoy between them. Long ago we realized that the most potent ally Islam has in any nation, is the left. And now we have Obama in office.

Now, all of his philosophical and political kinfolk who have spent the last year camped under the Obama bus are shaking the dust off and rising up to embrace and celebrate their old friend. Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam being one.

“Reverend” Jeremiah Wright is another. And then you have “respected professor” Bill Ayers rising up from the sixties dead like another resuscitated rock star trying to find the juice for one more freaking tour. When will the damn hippies finally freaking lay down and die? What a damn spectacle. But I digress…

Within the circle of men and women that we see gathering around Obama, we can observe the convergence of three virulent strains of oppressive ideologies. The Alinsky trained Obama and Hillary – and most of his cabinet it would seem – preaching the social justice, progressive, Marxist catechism ( all prettied up and dumbed down for the obama electorate), the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright – black separatist, steeped in liberation theology, and the maniacal bigot Louis Farrakhan – brandishing his black american version of Islam.

Those are some of the reasons that you won’t see me swilling kumbaya Kool-Aid with an outstretched hand waving a white flag. Those that now are populating the Obama administration are a breed of Americans spawned by a malignant culture of narcissism and nihilism. With Obama they now find themselves in power. While most of us in this country, myself included, have been drunk with the surfeit of America’s freedoms and bounty,we have been steadily compromised. Infested. Breached.

And through that breach, sweeping in on Obama’s coat tail, comes multiculturalism at is most legalistic and septic. If you have been as disgusted as I at Bush’s dangerously naive PC obsequiousness to Islam and his hug-an-illegal pandering, be prepared for PC’ism at it’s most egregious.

They’re back, the multiculturalists that is.

For years they’ve been encamped in our universities, and now even our high schools. But with the election of Barack Obama, they’re riding high. We’ll be hearing a great deal about “reaching out” to other cultures and nations, as the age of Obama dawns. Maybe it’s time to ask some serious questions about this term, multiculturalism.(Source)

They favor code words: tolerance, social justice, economic justice, peace, reproductive rights, sex education and safe sex, safe schools, inclusion, diversity, and sensitivity. All together, this is Cultural Marxism disguised as multiculturalism.

This is what I fight, have been fighting, long before there was a “black” president-elect in the picture. But I assure you, the charges will not stop. Identity politics have served the multi-culturalists and “social justice” minions well and they have no intention of retiring the tactic. The race card is accepted currency in the coming White House. As a result, warnings about political islam and sharia law will be castigated as racist. Pleas and demands to protect our borders, sovereignty and uphold our constitution will be reviled as anachronistic and neanderthal. The sanctity of the individual will be drowned by a incestuous and suffocating collectivism.

The linchpin of Cultural Marxism is cultural determinism, the parent of identity politics and group solidarity. In its turn, cultural determinism was birthed by the Darwinian idea that man is but a soulless animal and therefore his identity is determined by for example, his skin color or his sexual and/or erotic preferences. This proposition rejects the concepts of the human spirit, individuality, free will, and morally informed conscience (paired with personal accountability and responsibility) because it emphatically denies the existence of the God of the Bible.

Consequently, and by extension, it also rejects the first principles of our liberty enumerated in the Declaration of Independence. These are our “unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Cultural Marxism must reject these because these principles of liberty “are endowed by our Creator,” who made man in His image.

Always on Watch (blogging at The Gathering Storm)  is always able to secure  excellent guests. It amazes me sometimes what “folks” can do. I just heard someone refer to it as “MainSt. Media”.  Sounds good. Since the anarchists, rebels and dirty old hippies have managed to go turn themselves into the “Establishment”, maybe they can remove their sorry asses from the streets. The streets belong to our side now.

The damnable thing is, the hippies and leftists of the sixties  ranted against an imaginary oppression. They now come swaggering through the doors of power bearing with them the very oppression which they had  proclaimed America was guilty of exercising. Obviously, given their ascent to power, their infiltration of education, their dominance in culture, that they were not then, nor since,  oppressed.

That have become that ogre of fascism that they have always feared.
Obama and his possee have already demonstrated their willingness to suppress speech. If you want to do anything, fight for the right of “MainSt.” broadcasters like “Always on Watch” to retain the right to broadcast. Support their efforts and the hundreds of other worthy media outlets that are aligning themselves for the fight ahead.

She’s your sister, your cousin, your daughter, your neighbor. She is a victim of incest and pregnant now….forced to keep her child b/c Roe v Wade overturned means no exception for rape or incest.

This ad was sought by Barack Obama through Carol Rosenthal Casting. This was supposed to be an attack ad against McCain and Palin because they are both Pro-Life. Also, the “lucky” girl who would have won the role would not receive any payment except a DVD of the commercial for her acting portfolio.

Not only is Barack Obama pro-abortion / pro-murder / pro-death, but he is cheap to boot!

Chicago Bears Won’t Allow McCain Supporters To Wear McCain Gear, But Obama Supporters Do Whatever They Want

Monterrey Security, a private contractor hired by the Chicago Bears, repeatedly tried to keep McCain supporters from wearing McCain gear or supporting McCain at the Bears game, but DID NOT inhibit Obama supporters in any way. People were allowed to wear Obama tee shirts, buttons, etc. and walk freely into the parking lots and Bears game. People wearing McCain stickers, holding McCain signs, and wearing McCain shirts were stopped by Monterrey Security and told that no political items were allowed in the parking lot tailgating parties or inside the stadium.

Obama supporters were not harrassed.

McCain supporters were told they were not allowed to have McCain shirts, stickers, signs, or other gear.

Monterrey Security enforced a policy at Soldier Field that applied only to supporters of John McCain.

Another Weatherman terrorist a player in Obama campaign

One of the main founders of the Weathermen terrorist organization is a signatory to an independent organization acting to ensure the election of Sen. Barack Obama, WND has learned.

The group in question, Progressives for Obama, also includes among its ranks many former members of the 1960s radical organization Students for a Democratic Society, from which the Weathermen splintered, as well as current and former members of other radical organizations, such as the Communist Party USA and the Black Radical Congress.

Obama’s Assault on the First Amendment

In London last week, a frightful warning was sounded about encroaching tyranny. At an important conference, speaker after impassioned speaker warned of the peril to Western values posed by freedom-devouring sharia — the Islamic legal code. Like all tyrannies, sharia’s first target is speech: Suppress all examination of Muslim radicalism by threats of prosecution and libel actions, and smugly call it “the rule of law.”

But we may already be further gone than the London conferees feared. And without resort to the Islamicization that so startled them. For that, we can thank the campaign of Barack Obama.

I’ll be blunt: Sen. Obama and his supporters despise free expression, the bedrock of American self-determinism and hence American democracy. What’s more, like garden-variety despots, they see law not as a means of ensuring liberty but as a tool to intimidate and quell dissent.

We London conferees were fretting over speech codes, “hate speech” restrictions, “Islamophobia” provisions, and “libel tourism” — the use of less journalist-friendly defamation laws in foreign jurisdictions to eviscerate our First Amendment freedom to report, for example, on the nexus between ostensible Islamic charity and the funding of terrorist operations.

All the while, in St. Louis, local law-enforcement authorities, dominated by Democrat-party activists, were threatening libel prosecutions against Obama’s political opposition. County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, abetted by a local sheriff and encouraged by the Obama campaign, warned that members of the public who dared speak out against Obama during the campaign’s crucial final weeks would face criminal libel charges — if, in the judgment of these conflicted officials, such criticism of their champion was “false.”

Laura wrote, I would complain to the Federal Elections Commision but recently an FEC auditor went public and complained that he had been stopped for investigating Obama For America Contributions by his superiors. Legitimate compalints about over the limit contributions and non-US citizen contributions are not being addressed or investigated by the FEC.

This is a sad day for democracy.

Obama hires CAIR lawyer

Here come another of those “Guilt by Associations” that Senator Barack Obama will try to weasel himself out of. As you may know, Philip Berg is suing Senator Obama in Civil Court. Berg wants Obama to Produce his real birth certificate to prove that he meets the citizenship requirements to be President. Rather than just product the birth certificate (is he trying to hide something?) Obama’s legal team filed a motion to dismiss. Joe Sandler was the CAIR lawyer who sent a letter to the Young America’s Foundation in August 2007, threatening them with legal action if they let me speak to their national student conference. (You can see the letter here.) I spoke anyway (YAF’s Jason Mattera said, “CAIR can go to hell and take their seventy-two virgins with them”), and the threatened lawsuit did not materialize (at least as of this writing, over a year later).

But now here again Obama allies himself with someone who has but scant regard for the freedom of speech. Will he, as President, sacrifice that freedom in an attempt to build the bridges with the Islamic world that he has boasted of being able to build? Here is a full discussion of that possibility.

I hope that Barack Obama, when he becomes President, will become a staunch defender of the First Amendment against attempts by the Muslim Brotherhood and the Organization of the Islamic Conference to limit it or destroy it altogether. But his hiring of Joseph Sandler is not at all reassuring.

Ayers Was on Woods Fund Board with Obama When He Stepped on Flag

Barack Obama was much older than 8 when William Ayers was photographed stepping on a US flag in 2001, for an article in which Ayers said he had “No Regrets” for his violent actions in the Weather Underground.

In fact, at the same time Ayers was in a Chicago alley desecrating the flag, he and Barack Obama were serving on the board of the Woods Fund together.

Liberals Rethink Free Speech

It’s all just a taste of what’s to come if Obama wins and Democrats have even bigger majorities in Congress, emboldening them to try to crush their antagonists once and for all. “Hate is not a family value” was a popular bumper sticker on the left during the 1990s. Now, the left has embraced hate as, if not a family value, the organizing spirit of its long assault on George W. Bush, and anyone else in the way, from Joe Lieberman to Sarah Palin.

America’s partisan politics has always featured its share of rancorous abuse, but there’s something rancid at the heart of the new, blog-driven left that believes its bullying childishness has led the way out of the wilderness. This spirit will inevitably seep into an Obama administration. Whatever Obama’s professions of his commitment to cross-partisan understanding, he’s never confronted the left of his own party and has always been willing to engage in hardball when it suits his purposes.

Little Keith Olbermanns will surely be burrowed throughout his executive branch, eager to chill the speech of the “worst people in the world.”

A Muslim terrorist leader based in Lebanon has threatened to send suicide bombers to kill former Beatle and international music icon Paul McCartney when he performs in Israel later this month.

McCartney will perform in Tel Aviv as part of ongoing celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of Israel’s modern rebirth.

In remarks carried by British tabloid Sunday Express, Sheikh Omar Bakri said that makes McCartney the enemy of all Muslims.

Bakri, a Syrian national who once resided in London, warned McCartney that if he will be targeted if he comes to Israel.

“Paul McCartney is the enemy of every Muslim. We have what we call ‘sacrifice’ operatives who will not stand by while he joins in a celebration of [Israeli] oppression. If he values his life Mr. McCartney must not come to Israel. He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him.”

McCartney was reportedly shocked by the threat, but defiantly refused to cancel his Tel Aviv appearance. McCartney said that several anti-Israel political groups had also asked him to not visit the Jewish state.

Mickey Mouse must die, says Saudi Arabian cleric – Telegraph

Sheikh Muhammad Munajid claimed the mouse is “one of Satan’s soldiers” and makes everything it touches impure.

But he warned that depictions of the creature in cartoons such as Tom and Jerry, and Disney’s Mickey Mouse, had taught children that it was in fact loveable.

The cleric, a former diplomat at the Saudi embassy in Washington DC, said that under Sharia, both household mice and their cartoon counterparts must be killed.

Mr Munajid was asked to give Islam’s teaching on mice during a religious affairs programme broadcast on al-Majd TV, an Arab television network.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Saudi Arabia’s top judiciary official has issued a religious decree saying it is permissible to kill the owners of satellite TV networks that broadcast immoral content.

The 79-year-old Sheik Saleh al-Lihedan said Thursday that satellite channels cause the “deviance of thousands of people.” …

Al-Lihedan was answering listeners’ questions during the daily “Light in the Path” radio program in which he and others make rulings on what is permissible under Islamic law. One caller asked about Islam’s view of the owners of satellite TV channels that show “bad programs” during Ramadan.

“I want to advise the owners of these channels, who broadcast calls for such indecency and impudence … and I warn them of the consequences,” he said.

“What does the owner of these networks think, when he provides seduction, obscenity and vulgarity?” he said.

“Those calling for corrupt beliefs, certainly it’s permissible to kill them,” he said. “Those calling for sedition, those who are able to prevent it but don’t, it is permissible to kill them.” (source) (my bold)

• Muslim cabbies in Minn. lose round in court

  Muslim cabbies whose religious beliefs go against driving passengers who carry alcohol have lost another round in Minnesota courts. The Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday against the cabbies’ latest attempt to block penalties from being imposed when they refuse to transport passengers because they’re carrying alcoholic beverages. An ordinance adopted by the Metropolitan Airports Commission last year revokes a cabbie’s license for 30 days for refusing to pick up a passenger for any reason at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. • Prayer tiff at Swift plant – The Denver Post

  Nearly 400 Muslim workers who walked off the job Friday night at a Greeley slaughterhouse stayed home Monday to protest the denial of time to pray when their religious fasting ends during the workday. Officials of the union that represents the workers, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7, met with managers at JBS Swift & Co. on Monday over accommodations for the workers, mostly Somalis, who say they have not been allowed to break for food, water and prayer when religious fasting in observance of Ramadan ends each day, UFCW spokesman Manny Gonzales said. The workers stayed home Monday while negotiations continued, employee Ahmed Mohamud said. “They’re working with us,” Mohamud said of Swift managers, noting that a resolution is expected today. Company officials would acknowledge in a prepared statement only that an undisclosed number of workers walked out Friday night and that Swift was trying to make accommodations for the workers’ religious practices. The employees walked off Friday night after they were told to keep working rather than break to end their daily fast, employees said. They said bathrooms were locked and water fountains shut off. “They’re upset with their prayer time, and we’re filing appropriate grievances to be sure their needs are being met,” Gonzales said of the workers.

  An Inver Grove Heights charter school that came under investigation by the state Department of Education in the spring over allegations that it illegally promoted the Muslim faith will make changes this fall in the way it accommodates student prayer. Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy (TIZA) will reduce the length of voluntary Friday prayers and have staff members who wish to pray do so in a room separate from students, according to a letter school director Asad Zaman sent to the Minnesota Department of Education. The school, responding to the state investigation, has maintained that it has been in compliance with state and federal laws.

  
  

• A place for prayer at USF

  ampa, Florida-Slowly word is getting out to USF’s estimated large Muslim student population. They no longer have to look for a place to pray on campus because students now have a private place to worship. Members of USF’s Muslim Student Association are introduced to the school’s Serenity Room in the new Marshall Student Center. Twenty-one year old Narjis Zaidi says the small room on the north side of the Marshall Center’s third floor brings the peace and quiet she looks for. “During certain times of day the beams of the sun they reflect into the room in a very soothing and relaxing way. I’ve come here to pray and to relax or take a breather for a few minutes,” says Narjis. There’s also a wash room for Muslims to cleanse their feet, hands, arms and face before prayer. Until now they’d wash their feet in the school’s bathroom sinks they’d pray where possible on campus 5 times a day.

It is election season in America and time to look at one the of the dhimmis‘ favorite myths-the democratization of Islam. Great blood and treasure have been spent in Iraq to bring democracy to Islam.

But it makes no difference how much blood and treasure are spent; Islam is no more compatible with democracy than pigs are with flight. Islam has an entire doctrine of politics and government that was laid out by Mohammed. And just like pigs were not made for flight, Islamic political doctrine was not made for democracy.

The reason for this is the perfect example of Mohammed. Mohammed achieved success only when he became a politician and warrior. We may have politicians who invoke religion as part of their political persona, but we do not have any politicians who actually speak for god. Mohammed spoke for god. All Muslims did what they were told. Mohammed did not operate any kind of primal democracy; Mohammed and Allah ruled absolutely down to the smallest detail.

It is at this stage of the argument that Muslims like to invoke the idea of Mohammed’s consulting with his Companions as a model for democracy. At the battle of Badr, one of the men asked Mohammed if his battle orders were from Allah? Mohammed said that it was his own opinion, not Allah’s. The man pointed out that if the troops were placed in front of the well, it would be to Islam’s advantage and Mohammed followed his advice.

The argument is that Mohammed listened to the voters. Hence, Islam is democratic. But when you read the entire Sira (the biography of Mohammed) and the Hadith, such “votes” by the Companions are extremely rare.

Here is an example of how non-democratic Islam is.

Abu Muslim Book 020, Number 4573:
[…] Shouldn’t we overthrow them [the worst of rulers] with the help of the sword? Mohammed said, “No, as long as they establish prayer among you. If you then find anything detestable in them you should hate their administration, but do not withdraw yourselves from their obedience.”

In short, as long as a leader is a Muslim, obey him, even if he is a tyrant. Does that sound like a democratic view? What if the tyrant is Sadam Hussein? Obey him.

But this is not the real reason that Islam cannot ever have democracy. The real reason is found in the word-kafir, a political word. The Muslim is superior to the kafir in politics and culture and the kafir must submit to the will of Islam in public affairs. Democracy is based upon the idea of the Golden Rule. The Golden Rule leads to equality in law and politics. But a Muslim and a kafir are not equal in political Islam. Votes are equal. We have a contradiction and democracy submits to Islam and tyranny.

There is a third reason why Islam is not capable of being democratic. Democracies are the source of the idea of human rights. Islam does not grant human rights to kafirs.

Christians are 3% of the population in Iraq and are 30% of those fleeing Iraq. Why? Persecution by political Islam. About 1300 years ago Iraq was Christian. Soon it will be 0% Christian. The tragedy is that this is of no importance in the media or houses of worship.

But we digress. The point is that Islam only gives full rights to Muslims. Kafirs, Christian and otherwise are second-class citizens, basically semi-slaves. This inequality is built into the doctrine of Islam and is fully supported by the example. If Mohammed wanted democracy he would have practiced democracy as a sacred example. But his sacred example was supreme, unquestioned ruler.

Islam is perfect, universal, complete and eternal. It does not have a reform option. Democracy is a kafir form of politics and is anti-Islamic.

Apostasy in islam : The point of no return

For fourteen centuries, Muslims were able to conceal some of their most outrageous teachings from the rest of the world. Their deceptions were hidden behind language, cultural and geographic barriers. Modern technology and new communication methods have made it difficult for Muslims to hide the dark side of Islam any longer. Muslim advocates, especially in the West, are now faced with the tough task of explaining the discrepancies between how they want Islam perceived as a tolerant, civil and peaceful religion ; and the realties of some of its basic tenets, which are quite the opposite. They’re finding it hard to maintain the façades and to simultaneously remain faithful to the harsh doctrines that are essential to the practices of authentic Islam.

Ali Gomaa issued a wide range of opinions on critical issues of Islam such as Jihad, women’s status and the right of Muslims to change religions. News agencies around the world published them in multiple languages. In regard to a Muslim’s right to renounce Islam and to join another religion that is called apostasy, his initial rulings sounded lenient. The Washington Post-Newsweek forum in English was one of the forums that published his decisions.

My hopes were soon shattered. A few days later, the Grand Mufti, issued another statement. This time he was speaking in Arabic in Cairo and what he said was completely different : “What I actually said was that Islam prohibits a Muslim from changing his religion and it’s a crime that must be punished.”

It was then that I realized that we had all been fooled, again. The Muslim strategy of only speaking half-truths was still alive and well. What is being said in places like Washington to English speaking groups is almost simultaneously retracted and rendered meaningless when they speak in Arabic in places like Cairo. What was originally presented as simply a rare and remote possible exception had become the general rule. Changing religions from Islam to another faith is interpreted as an act of apostasy. The Islamic mindset dictates that such apostasies can undermine the foundations of Muslim societies.

It’s difficult for non-Muslims to understand how a personal decision to change one’s religion by one Muslim or even hundreds could undermine an entire Islamic society. And, assuming that it could, would denial of the facts change anything ? Apparently the grand Mufti thought so. However, he must have imagined that he achieved both of his goals. On one hand, it was to polish Islam’s image in the West ; and on the other, he spoke the truth about Islamic polices in the Islamic world.

The only way that Islamists like the Mufti can continually get away with such deceptive maneuvers is for us to allow them to do so. There must be clarity about Islam’s consistent track record of doubletalk about thorny issues such as this one. Non-Muslims really need to know the truth about just what constitutes apostasy in the Muslim world. (Continue reading)

Muslim Student Association and Their “Hadith of Hate”

Muslims and their apologists will tell you that they are victims of islamophobia. That the few who spew hatred are the rarity. Yet the proof to the contrary is pervasive wherever you find practitioners of the “faith”. The Muslim Student Association is not some obscure “extremist” group. They are on campuses throughout America. And the following “sacred hadith” published on their website is standard fare.

Islam: Religion of Hate

The hadith (sacred teaching) reads as follows:

“Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him….”

As Muslim Student Association (MSA) chapters have become increasingly influential at universities and colleges around the country, critics have charged that it is a hate group that sympathizes with the international jihad and promulgates an anti-American and anti-Semitic ideology in its campus actions.

In response, the MSA has claimed that it is merely another religious and cultural group similar to Hillel, a club for Jewish students, or the Newman Club for Catholics. That deception has been now unmasked at the University of Southern California, where the school’s Provost, Chrysostomos L. Max Nikias, reacting to a call from the David Horowitz Freedom Center and the Simon Wiesenthal Center, has ordered the campus MSA to remove a “despicable” hadith calling for Muslims to murder Jews as a condition for redemption from its website.

David Horowitz, President of the Freedom Center, hails this as a breakthrough moment when the double standards that control the political and intellectual culture of most universities have finally been challenged. “Up to now, the slightest criticism of radical Islam on campus has been slammed as ‘Islamophobia,’ while Muslim groups and their radical fellow travelers have been allowed to say the most hateful things imaginable about Christians and Jews without any reaction from university administrators whatsoever,” Horowitz says. “Provost Nikias has called the hadith on the MSA website for what it is: despicable. Given the atmosphere that prevails on most campuses today, it was an act of integrity on his part to make this call and to demand that the MSA live up to basic standards of civility that should govern the university.”

I think hate speech laws are as reprehensible as Islam. Suppression of speech is vile no matter what group employs it. Though I commend USC for kicking at the foul nest of snakes in their midst, instead of demanding the removal of the “sacred hadith”, they ought to have publicized it, put a spotlight on it so that all can see what islam espouses. It’s removal only serves to give the MSA more cover, because it will not be removed as a tenet that they subscribe to. They will still utter it in their hearts. But to humiliate them with the reproach and disgust that would attend exposing them would serve to strip them of the credibility they so desperately seek in American society. That is how the KKK and other supremacist groups were made impotent. That is what needs to be done with islamists.

I am far past the time when I would look for “reasonable muslims”. If there were any, they themselves would have shut down groups like MSA. But they remain silent, and their silence condemns them. So be it.

Now I didn’t listen to the whole convention and would have ignored it completely were it not for Palin. So I don’t know if anyone else bothered to directly name the enemy that we face, but, God bless Rudy, he has never forgotten who it is we fight

For — for four days in Denver, the Democrats were afraid to use the words “Islamic terrorism.”

I imagine they believe it is politically incorrect to say it. I think they believe it will insult someone. Please tell me, who are they insulting if they say “Islamic terrorism”? They are insulting terrorists.

Of great concern to me, during those same four days in Denver, they rarely mentioned the attacks of September 11, 2001. They are in a state of denial about the biggest threat that faces this country. And if you deny it and you don’t deal with it, you can’t face it.

John McCain can face the enemy. He can win, and he can bring victory for this country.

I have huge misgivings about McCain. His dalliance with the global warming crowd, cap and trade, illegals – all those issues make me very reluctant to vote for him. Indeed, were it not for Palin, I’d likely not even consider it.  But I do believe that McCain will fight our enemy. And our enemies know it too.
That’s why it is so easy to find terrorists that ardently support Obama, including the Iranian islamists whom he is dying to chat with.

For all the secularists and atheists and christo-phobes, become acquainted with the masters you will one day kneel before – if you keep up your incessant support of islam. You will long for the day when all you had to contend with were pushy preachers. This is in England, a country robust with those who despise the Christian god and those who have pushed a multicultural agenda. As they are now finding out, you will soon reap what you have sown in America.

Later this month it’s Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. It’s one of the holiest days of the Jewish calendar, so I’d be obliged, please, if you’d all stay at home, turn off the TV and refrain from your usual activities. Ten days after that it’s Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, when Jews fast and spend the day in synagogue. So I’ve also asked my Times colleagues not to work then. And I will be mightily offended if I learn afterwards that any of them have been eating.

You might not think I am being serious. But if I was Head of Democratic Services at Tower Hamlets Council in East London, I would be. Last week John Williams e-mailed each of the borough’s 51 councillors with a similar instruction.

For the duration of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month, they are, he told them – every one of them, Muslim, Catholic, Jew or atheist – to behave during council meetings as strict Muslims. A British woman has been raped by a gang of asylum seekers in Calais, it has been alleged.

The journalism student wanted to highlight the plight of migrants who sleep rough in a squalid camp at the French port before trying to sneak into Britain.

She was subjected to a horrific attack by six Afghan men she intended to write about, it was claimed.
The student – who cannot be named for legal reasons – had travelled to the French port to interview migrants sleeping rough before trying to sneak into Britain.

As she took photographs of a group of Afghan refugees, she was lured into a makeshift hut in the notorious unofficial camp called The Jungle by the gang leader, who told her he wanted to show her something inside.

There he held her down, repeatedly hit her around the face and body, and subjected her to a half-hour rape, police said. Although she screamed for help, no one came to her aid.

French state prosecutor Philippe Muller said he believed the man was a French-speaking people smuggler in his 20s of Afghan or Iraqi appearance.

The human traffickers charge other immigrants up to £800 a time for a place in a truck or train to get to England.
