Pat Dollard has the NY Slime piece reporting that one of the released terrorists from Gitmo is now “…the deputy leader of Al Qaeda’s Yemeni branch”. And I bet you he will be recruiting some of his old cellmates from Gitmo, the ones you will be releasing to him, Obomba.

“Almost half the camp’s remaining detainees are Yemenis, and efforts to repatriate them depend in part on the creation of a Yemeni rehabilitation program — partly financed by the United States — similar to the Saudi one. Saudi Arabia has claimed that no graduate of its program has returned to terrorism.

“The lesson here is, whoever receives former Guantánamo detainees needs to keep a close eye on them,” the American official said.

PD: Isn’t easier to keep an eye on terrorists under detention, then on them roaming around the world?

BEIRUT, Lebanon — The emergence of a former Guantánamo Bay detainee as the deputy leader of Al Qaeda’s Yemeni branch has underscored the potential complications in carrying out the executive order President Obama signed Thursday that the detention center be shut down within a year.

The militant, Said Ali al-Shihri, is suspected of involvement in a deadly bombing of the United States Embassy in Yemen’s capital, Sana, in September. He was released to Saudi Arabia in 2007 and passed through a Saudi rehabilitation program for former jihadists before resurfacing with Al Qaeda in Yemen.

His status was announced in an Internet statement by the militant group and was confirmed by an American counterterrorism official.

“They’re one and the same guy,” said the official, who insisted on anonymity because he was discussing an intelligence analysis. “He returned to Saudi Arabia in 2007, but his movements to Yemen remain unclear.”

The development came as Republican legislators criticized the plan to close the Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, detention camp in the absence of any measures for dealing with current detainees.

I am so bloody tired of the appeasers. So tired of those who embrace evil, calling it compassion, who extend understanding towards terrorists and revile their own traditions and culture. That would, unfortunately, describe half of America – the half that voted Obama. I’d bet good money that the majority of those whining about the poor “palestinians” come from that faction of ignorant saps.

Palestine is a myth. Pure and simple. Hamas is a proxy for Iran and Iran is an islamic bully who has unequivocally declared that their avowed goal is the destruction of the West, particularly Israel and America.

Islamic cleric Salah Sultan appeared on Egypt’s Al-Nas TV last week and delivered a warning of death and destruction for America. Not only did he attack the U.S. for its military support of Israel in its fight against the Hamas terrorist organization, but he vowed retaliation such that more Americans would be killed than those Palestinians (and, presumably, Hamas terrorists) killed in the present conflict in Gaza, emphasizing that this would take place “soon”:

America, which gave [Israel] everything it needed in these battles, will suffer economic stagnation, ruin, destruction, and crime, which will surpass what is happening in Gaza. One of these days, the U.S. will suffer more deaths than all those killed in this third Gaza holocaust. This will happen soon.

He also invoked a notorious Islamic hadith on the inevitable annihilation of the Jews by Muslims:

The stone, which is thrown at the Jews, hates these Jews, these Zionists, because Allah foretold, via His Prophet Muhammad, that Judgment Day will not come before the Jew and the Muslim fight. Rummaging through my archives I ran across an old draft from 2002 that included the two excerpts reproduced below. I remember once being appalled by such pronouncements – now I understand that nothing sane ever comes out of the mouth of a muslim.

That is the voice of Islam. Arrogant barbarity. It hasn’t changed in a thousand years, and it certainly hasn’t changed since 2002. Islamic jihad is what is operative in Palestine right now. Australian Muzzie Ran Drug Ring from Jail Cell

A convicted murderer allegedly made about 460 calls a day on a smuggled mobile phone as he coordinated a $250,000-a-week drug trafficking syndicate from his maximum security jail cell.

Bassam Hamzy, 29, who is serving a 21-year sentence for murdering a man outside a Sydney nightclub, allegedly made more than 19,000 calls from inside Lithgow prison, west of Sydney, between May 1 and June 11 this year.

Most of the calls were made in Arabic, to a syndicate of 12 close friends and family members who allegedly shifted $1.5 million worth of cocaine and ice from NSW to Victoria in six weeks.

Imprisonment is not much of a punishment for muslims. These are not people who particularly value freedom. I am quite certain that every sizable prison is permeated with Islamists, so new prisoners will easily find solace and support from their fellow believers.  And as the article quoted above attests, it is feasible to continue illegal operations, be it the distribution of drugs or terrorist plotting. It is a damn shame prisoners are granted rights sufficient to allow this type of maneuverability. But that is the world we now live in. Evil is rewarded more often than not.

I have often thought that the huge Muslim population in America’s prisons might as well be a standing army, waiting for their killing orders. A couple of coordinated prison breaks in a specified region, timed to coincide with a terrorist attack, may not be as far fetched as it sounds.

For years, the Washington-based Center for Security Policy has been tracking the infiltration of U.S. prisons by agents of Saudi Wahhabism…The Center’s research (now confirmed by subsequent Senate investigations) has concluded that Muslim chaplains trained in and certified by Saudi-supported Wahhabi institutes in America have been accepted into our prison system by the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). When you consider the possibilities, prison serves as fertile recruiting grounds for future members of Obama’s proposed domestic army. Under the guise of “social justice”, abetted by an existing network of Imans – a network already dedicated to arranging their converts’ “socioeconomic status and placement in the community upon their release” – Obama’s “National Civilian Corps” is a perfect fit. And God knows, it will make for fine editorial copy, just ooozing with redemption and “hope”. Young men saved from gangs and drugs, inspired by Islam, transitioned into their new life on the outside in service to Obama’s vision. Armed thugs, dedicated to the destruction of America sanctioned by the governement, in an organization that Obama has already declared he wants as well funded as America’s military. Yes, a nightmarish thought, but then, I expect nightmares to be the standard fare served up by the Obamanites.

Progressives remind me – in more ways than one – very much of their totalitarian buddies in Islam. Islam claims to be the religion of peace, which it is most assuredly not. Liberals claim to be the party of tolerance and love, and daily evidence accumulates that demonstrate they are anything but…….

On Aug. 22, DePalma allegedly made two jugs of a homemade napalm-like substance for use in the Molotov cocktails. He was seen traveling to a remote location in Rosemount to allegedly assemble and test the Molotov cocktails.

When Laurie Coleman, wife of U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman, hauled her trash to the alley at 7:30 this morning, a chilling sight greeted her.

Spray-painted in black on the wooden siding of the garage in the couple’s Summit Hill neighborhood was this angry graffiti, in letters nearly a foot high: “U R A CRIMINAL RESIGN OR ELSE! PSALM 2″

On the alley side, each double-bay stall door had the word “SCUM” spray painted in black ink, as a did a wooden partition in between.

Just north, in Canada, the Islamists are tightening their grip around the throat of free speech and CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood and like groups in America will have a green light should the Marxist Obama ascend his throne.

Because there is really little difference between islam – a complete theocratic system that swallows freedom, personal choices, politics, family relationships whole – and the’isms of the left. Except they put a “god” on the throne. A god quite unlike the Christian god who will at least allow an individual to choose a path to hell if it so behooves him. It’s called free will, a concept that islamists deem to be a blasphemy.
