When Nobel Prize winner Isaac Rabi was asked to what he attributed his success, he said he always remembered that every day when he came home from school his mother would ask him, “Did you ask any good questions today?” What he imbibed was that we ultimately gain more from questions than answers. Answers bring a subject to a close; questions open us up to ever more profound and deeper understanding. That perhaps more than anything else may explain Jewish genius. From youth we explore the Torah, Talmud and commentaries with inquisitive minds encouraged to ask even when no clear response is in sight. To do otherwise would be to imply that our faith cannot withstand scrutiny, that our commitment to God is so tenuous that it is afraid of critical analysis.

Here is where Islam fails so miserably. Even if I knew nothing else about Islam, the Muslim’s fanatical objection to critiques would arouse my suspicions. But I only need to know one thing about Islam and that it is a creed that demands unquestioning submission. The God of the Jews and the Christians issues an invitation to follow Him. The Muslim god brooks no disputation. Love him or die. To me that is as pathetic as a rich man buying the attentions of a whore and pretending that he is the recipient of love and respect.

Why would I respect a god that is so small that he can’t tolerate my disrespect? Who demands that I prostrate myself before him five times a day? No thanks, I’ll take my chances with a god that gives me permission to kneel, or to walk away. My fate, if I should choose to do the latter, is on me.

However, the fact that the authors make such an effort to couch and caveat what they think they know indicates that they are making up for a great deal of ignorance. Should we be satisfied with such ambiguous and circumspect descriptions of the information our nation’s leaders will be using to make the critical decisions of our time?

Your author has commented elsewhere on what he feels is really at work with this NIE. While it may very well be a partisan political agenda made manifest, experience suggests that the intelligence community is doing its utmost to avoid another public failure on par with Iraq’s WMD programs (or India’s nuclear weapons test, or the collapse of the Soviet Union, etc.). This includes but is not limited to using every linguistic trick in the book to ensure that anything written about any intelligence problem could be looked at in hindsight as “right” if interpreted in a particular way.

The community owes the leaders of our country, regardless of their political affiliation, better.

People laughed at former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld when he spoke of the problem of “unknown unknowns.” Odd as his verbiage was, he was driving home the point that you cannot make sound decisions about national security if you are in any way ignorant of your adversary’s intentions and activities. Does anyone really think that one of our toughest intelligence targets suddenly became transparent or is it more likely that there is more going on here than meets the eye?

Anyone in the current administration – and any aspiring presidential candidate – that is interested in leaving a noteworthy imprint on the intelligence community should make mandatory the inclusion of intelligence gaps in every NIE and major intelligence product. Our adversaries do not need to know what we don’t know, but the community would be doing itself and its customers a great service by remembering the significance of ignorance.

It is often noted that feminists appear to be unmoved by the plight of women subject to the barbarities of Islam. In fact, they seem to shrug their collective shoulders as if to say – “Sorry for your luck, but hey, you were born in that culture and we honor culture over your particular agonies.”

After all, femi-nazis feminists have their priorities.

My guess is that feminists secretly admire the type of Muslim woman reported on below. Just think how many mythological glass ceilings that oppressed American women could finally break through with a few suicide bombers at a few corporate headquarters – and no one would ever dare suggest that a woman plop her ass on a pink toilet again.

Nationalism. Ethnic rivalries. I admit to being fuzzy on the real story of Chechnya, Bosnia or the “former Yugoslavia”. I certainly am not going to accept the PC riddled versions that the MSM offers up, wherein all news is reduced to “The West = Bad, Islam =Good”, or “AmeriKKa Sucks, Jews Suck – Everyone Else is Innocent”. I’ve witnessed the MSM’s faux photography and the continuous dissemination of seditious lies and half truths proffered by CNN, and BBC, the AP, and the New York Slimes. How can I trust anything from any of these so-called news organizations when none of them even have the damn nerve to name the enemy. They are far more practiced at kneeling before their Islamic masters instead of exposing them, dropping to their knees as readily as any seasoned whore kneels before her latest trick.

So I’ve just begun researching Chechnya and Bosnia, Russia, trying to find factual accounts, ones written without a politically correct lens focused on the events – a lens that somehow turns words like nationalism and ethnicity into pejoratives.

In America that tendency shows up when patriots are referred to as nativists and those who esteem America and the “West” are cast as nefarious white supremacists. In Europe, charges of nationalism and nazism and other various ‘isms prevail.

I wonder what their take would be on the “Declaration of the Caucasian Emirate“, (excerpted below) recently issued by Islamist terrorist Dokka Umarov , who, by the way, describes Islamic hatred for the “swinish” Russian Kafir as going back for generations; “Our glorious ancestors were waging Jihad against these enemies…”

This “declaration” demonstrates that this engagement goes far beyond the realm of “ethnic rivalry”. Just like LaRaza’s declared intent to reclaim the American Southwest goes far beyond a mere immigration issue. In both cases, war has been declared.

As the Russian kafirs fight for whatever remains of their national identity, their Islamist foes will call them swine and the nations that helped create this hell will call them nationalists and and elitist Western progressives will dismiss them as xenophobic racists. Dokka Umarov has demanded their submission.

I appeal to the Mujahideen who are fighting in the Caucasus and the oppressed Muslims of Idel-Ural, Siberia and other parts of the occupied Rusnya (Russia).
I would like to remind the fact that many Muslims are inclined to forget: Russian kafirs (infidels) have occupied our land and swinish life is being imposed on us for a long period of time. The Timidity of Christians and the Denial of Fools

A school teacher in the Sudan by the name of Gibbons might have to endure forty lashes for the mere sin of naming a Teddy bear Mohammad. As usual, Muslims claim to be insulted, but, unlike Christians, they demand that a price be paid. This is one headline that you will never read in America.

Rosie O’Donnell… was also charged with inciting hatred and showing contempt for religious beliefs… If convicted, she could face 40 lashes, a fine, or one year in jail.

You could substitute any one of hundreds of names for O’Donnell’s. There are countless "stars" and "artists" who manage to  find reserves of courage when it comes to maligning Christians.  They are all too aware that they will suffer nothing as consequence for their irreverence.

But , Christianity’s critics are contemptuous for all the wrong reasons. If Christians were even  one third as dogmatic as Miss O’Donnell and her peers assert, there might be hope that they’d muster up some type of defense against their enemies. If, indeed, Christians exercised the same religious zeal as do Muslims, Miss O’Donnell would be back in the closet and buried under a burqua somewhere.

Alas, today’s dreaded Christians seem to be unable to even locate an enemy, let alone possess the foresight and strength to engage in battle. The fulminating  fundamentalists  that  Miss O’Donnell imagines to be such malignant threats are far  too busy spreading turning their "other" cheeks to Muslims in their  latest display of dhimmitude dementia; the nauseous letter of apology by abject Christians that rivals even Bush’s Muslim pandering. But I digress. …

It just boggles my mind that the left is so willingly blind to the dangers of Islam when evidence can be found daily in news reports across the globe. This teddy bear brouhaha is just one of thousands of similar incidents that occur anywhere that Muslims are in sufficient number to combine their collective umbrage and wail.

Gibbons was arrested after some parents complained about the bear being named after the Prophet Mohammad.

I can’t imagine what would happen if a urine soaked koran were put on display.   But nations  will continue to allow this damn caterwauling from offended Muslims to hold sway over media and governments, and Christians will continue to remain the temperature that qualifies them to be spit out of their Savior’s mouth and the Rosie O’Donnells of the world will keep shadow boxing with imaginary enemies, too lost in denial to see  the descending  whip.

If Keith Ellison Spoke the Truth …..

I fear the day will too soon arrive when Keith Ellison (the Muslim Trojan horse currently posing serving as a congressman from the lamentable state of Minnesota) feels sufficiently confident that this nation is so subsumed by dhimmitude that he will feel free to express himself as candidly as Raleb Majadle, the first Arab minister in Israel.

This is the true belief of every silver tongued Islamic politician who uses the democratic process to subvert the nation that they falsely swear to support. Keith Ellison has no allegiance to this nation. He, like Majadle, “will know what to choose“, and it will not be America.

Ellison’s oath of office is as good as the Koran it was sworn on, and far as I have observed, the Koran serves best as toilet paper and Congressman Keith Ellison serves only the umma.

Christian Mother Uses Baby As Bomb

Yeah, that got your attention. Because it ain’t likely to happen. As much as Christians are pilloried, most sane folks (excluding Rosie O’Donnell, for whom no Christian is ever quite silent or dead enough) know that Christians do not turn their kids into suicide bombers. Even if the odd woman did, nothing in their Holy book mandates or sanctions that.

Unfortunately, too few Americans realize that Islamic women all too frequently will offer up their children for jihad, which is, apparently, sanctioned by their god Converting children into artillery at least serves a purpose in the minds of these god forsaken creatures. It’s a vile offering to their vile god. They imagine that it gives them purchase in heaven, it earns them brownie points with Allah, or a payoff from the Saudis or Hamas.

The same can not be said of those liberal women who kill the babies who have inconvenienced them and their sacrosanct wombs. I very much hate to ponder what in the west corresponds to what I have seen in Islam, but, push comes to shove, this approaching war , one one level, isn’t so much about Islam as it is a battle between life and death. When you remove the labels, Islamists blend in quite readily with all and any who espouse a nihilistic death creed, regardless of the political or religious instruments that express that creed.

I very much want to rail about the barbarity in Islam, and, indeed, there is little else but barbarity. But I can’t fail to note the same barbarity practiced by those Western women who have convinced themselves that the life that they snuff out is mere tissue. Their belief in that fallacy mimics the muslim woman’s equally perverse belief that the baby or child sacrificed to Jihad is blessed by her god. Both women delude themselves in service to a lie. Both women, willingly or not, serve death.

If too many serve death, death will win. Be it death in degrees by socialism and creeping sharia, or death by the hands of a mad muslim with nukes, a people who no longer reverence life, are doomed. The fact remains, as far as America goes, were there nary an Islamist on our shores, the so-called progressives and the elites denigrate life as faciley as does Islam. No matter what color skin shrouds our soul nor which creed instructs our hearts, in the end, human beings must choose whom they will serve; life or death.

In the name of Allah, Islamic children serve death. In the name of convenience, so do these children.

The Lone Wolf Jihadist

In a nation wherein half the population has chosen an alternate reality of false peace, sleeper cells have very little to worry about. Members of such groups can count on the somnambulistic American public to ignore any suspicions, falling back on the soporifics of the liars who insist that terrorism is a George Bush construct meant to deflect attention from nefarious oil deals.

Well, at this stage I haven’t much faith in George Bush, but Islam is not a figment of his imagination. His constant refrain that Islam is a religion of peace, however, is very imaginative on his part.

A lone jihadist in America can cause incalculable damage. Multiculturalism and political correctness provide a good deal of his camouflage. We can thank the left for providing those tools to our enemies. We can also thank the left that documented information on the nature of the Islamists is buried or attacked as racist delusions.

If only that were true. I often wish that I was still a deluded liberal who could buy into their alternate reality. That way, at least, I can enjoy my time with children and grandchildren instead of watching them while my heart is gripped with fear for their future.

Because men like the Islamist quoted below are in this country, looking for ways to kill my children and yours, while liberals whistle Dixie and other deceived Americans join the chorus.

In February of 2005 Daniel Pipes wrote:

When CAIR Is Silent

(AINA) — According to the Assyrian website ankawa.com, a 14 year old Christian Assyrian boy, Ayad Tariq, from Baqouba, Iraq was decapitated at his work place on October 21.

Ayad Tariq was working his 12 hour shift, maintaining an electric generator, when a group of disguised Muslim insurgents walked in at the beginning of his shift shortly after 6 a.m. and asked him for his ID.

According to another employee who witnessed the events, and who hid when he saw the insurgents approach, the insurgents questioned Ayad after seeing that his ID stated “Christian”, asking if he was truly a “Christian sinner.” Ayad replied “yes, I am Christian but I am not a sinner.” The insurgents quickly said this is a “dirty Christian sinner!” Then they proceeded to each hold one limb, shouting “Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar!” while beheading the boy.

Stop The Project

There was much talk after 911 about having failed to “connect the dots”. Should Americans continue along the same path to dhimmitude that Europe has stumbled along it will be because we have failed to connect the network of dots between CAIR and those American politicians and citizens who have willingly lent their names and support to the terrorist front group.

Sad thing is, the dots are plentiful, multiplying rapidly and, with very little effort, you can watch as they connect into the formation of the noose by which your every freedom will be hung.

Islam, courtesy of CAIR, has a pretty public face here in America. Islamists have learned, courtesy of the West, to employ high tech with high fashion, creating media savvy images that they hope will erase the images of their rioting counterparts in France, their murdering fellow ideologues in Indonesia, their Jew hating peers in England. They have adopted the leftist rhetoric that their American audience is conditioned to respond to with Pavlovian dependability and they have found a pliant and incurious America easily satisfied with their mix of bromides.

If you have been imbibing only the bromides, The Project will give you a bit of dyspepsia. Sudden onslaughts of reality can be jarring. But better now then later. Later is becoming much too late.

An examination of Islam requires a glossary for the uninitiated. A Dictionary of Basic Terms provided within the 910 Group blogger’s “Beginner’s Guide to Islam”, is sufficient to the task at hand. That task being to provide an education about the nature of the war that we are engaged in, the war that most Americans have failed to show up for.

It is not the hard jihad of bullets, beheadings and riots. It is the soft jihad of political Islam as it is conducted in America by CAIR and other less visible Muslim groups. And if you are one of those who, contrary to all evidence, insist that we are not at war, then your denial is more powerful than your will to live – but, alas, ultimately, it will not be powerful enough to save you.

Taquiyya and Denial

During the many years that I did drugs, I denied the presence of the wolves at the door. I denied the immediate reality of a life out of control and ignored those who begged me to think of my future. I was in terror of “the present” and a future was something I obviously had insufficient courage to contemplate. Raw reality frightened me more than the death of friends from overdoses. I ignored the evidence of ravaged lives and families torn asunder.If I had been quite rich, perhaps I could have continued playing Russian roulette with my life, but alternate realities generally require funding. The reality I so assiduously avoided was waiting patiently to reward me with the fruits of my ill spent years when I could no longer afford to flee.

Religion and drugs can be similar in that way. Like drugs, religion has the capacity to sooth, dispel fears, to create a womb of warm content, a promise of safety, a reprieve from pain. Whatever you fear most can be sent back into the shadows with a few good drugs or promises of surety from god and government.

I ponder this after reading an exceedingly blithe description of dhimmitude and the caliphate from a “journalist” who ingests the Taquiyya offered by Islamists like a junkie hungering for a fix. There can be no other explanation for the sustained obtuseness of those who deny the reality of Islam and their caliphate dreams. It strikes me as the same type of denial that enabled me to rationalize a needle in my arm. Taquiyya is the bony hand of Islam soothing the dhimmis brow, the drug of choice for those who can’t face the reality of the Islamic wolves at the door.

Referring to Bush’s use of the word caliphate as another Republican scare tactic, Muslim tool Timothy Gatto goes on to reassure his readers of the benign nature of caliphate and one begins to see yet another reason that the left gravitates to Islam.

“The issue of the caliphate provides a valuable space in which to explore the question of contemporary globalization and religious authority. This is not only because a number of Islamic political movements (Al-Qaida among them) aim to re-establish caliphate institutions, but also because wider debates about the waning influence of the nation-state under globalization may render such models of transnational religious polity more attractive.”So what is a Caliphate now that we know who wants them? From Caliphate.eu, this is the definition; “The Caliphate is a unique political system from the ideology of Islam that bears no resemblance to any of the Muslim Governments today. It is a government built upon a concept of citizenship regardless of ethnicity, gender or creed and is totally opposed to the oppression of any religious or ethnic grouping.

Yes, in the world of relativism Al Qaida is merely an “Islamic political movement” and the left’s disdain for the sovereign nation state allow them to view a “transnational religious polity” without the horror that would attend such a suggestion were the religion Christianity of Judaism. That the writer then chooses to substantiate his premise by quoting a passage that dares to assert that Islam “is totally opposed to the oppression of any religious or ethnic grouping.” makes me wonder if he even bothered to read what he cut and paste.

“Non-Muslims have an honorable status in the Caliphate. They are referred to as dhimmi (people of contract), which means they are equal citizens with the Muslims and enjoy the full rights of citizenship. Unlike in Britain they are not given derogatory names like “ethnic minorities” or “immigrants”, that implies they are 2nd class citizens and not really welcome. The rights of non-Muslims are enshrined in statutory Islamic Law (shariah) and cannot be reversed by legal precedent or the whims of any government. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “Whoever harms a dhimmi has harmed me.” Of course this is a ‘Pro-Caliphate site.”

Excuse me? He hasn’t heard of Somalia? The constant references to Jews and Christians as apes and pigs has escaped him? The ongoing slaughter of Christians in Muslim countries does not strike him as religious oppression. It doesn’t strike him as odd that nary one Christian church can be found in Saudi Arabia? The Islamist movement is trying to ban all kind of music in Somalia, along with other cultural expressions.

The French news agency AFP quoted a commander in the Supreme Islamic Council of Somalia (SICS) as saying the aim was to stop the broadcasting of “music that promotes devilish behaviour.” An Islamic court official quoted by the ‘Associated Press’ said: “It is useless to air music and love songs for the people.” (link)

The 910 Group: The Resistance Has Begun

The media is inundated with the visions, stories and propaganda of the left. I imagine my experience may be a bit like the experience of any ‘minority‘ who fails to see reflected back any images or hear any dialog that speaks to the reality of their given world. Though I hardly believe that, as a conservative, I represent a minority, the media is hell bent on conjuring up the notion that I am a mere freak, a vestige of a less sophisticated society, a laggard in the global march.

The same can also be said of the internet, if one goes by the predilection of the left-oriented Google and Digg and WIKI to highlight their political and cultural viewpoints. So when I come to bloggers and sites that carry the voices of the civilized West, it as if I had stumbled on to an oasis of sanity and my thirst for hearing verifiable truth is finally quenched.

But for a long time now, commensurate with my thirst for objective truth, has been the rising frustration that I am swimming in an ocean of eloquent rants and lamentations, and while it is comforting to see my fears echoed by many, to find others as appalled at the rise of Islam as I am, I want desperately to fight back. Not just blog back, but effectively resist the tide. So I find myself seeking an island of solutions, a fortress of activities directed to defeating the enemy.

I have found one. Like the proverbial phoenix rising from the ashes, an Atlantis has risen from the depth of the blogosphere.

The resistance has begun.

Speaking of beheadings. Oh, I know, it gets repetitious, but hey – gotta keep up with Religion of Peace (ROP).

OK, let’s see, the head that rolled this time was that of a Catholic priest. I haven’t even read the link yet. I mean, hell, you’ve read one, you’ve read them all. And to think that 5 years ago, the only image I had of beheadings were French guillotines and horror movies. Well, history turns out not be ‘over’ and there are monsters more compelling than Hollywood has the guts to imagine.

Anyway, let’s go see what the first beheading was about. (OT:Fox is reporting a family of four found dead along a Florida turnpike. I find that I am wondering if it is case of Spontaneous Jihad Syndrome! A random act of Islamic peace? Anyway, law enforcement at the scene had rigged some kind of tent over the corpses and I find my self listening for clues, as the MSM forces us to do since they can’t spit out the word ‘Arab’ or ‘muslim’ – but anyway – I’ve not seen a canopied crime scene before and I’m wondering if they were decapitated. Because I’m convinced they wouldn’t tell us. The dhimmi press and the sensitized government is editing reality. Just a conjecture. I’ll have to go look for a link….UPDATE – turns out it is a Hispanic family; 2 adults and two children shot and placed where they were found. No clues as to why or by whom. I stand by my conjecture, though. If it has anything to do with muslims, it will be omitted in most,if not all,reports.)

“Iraqi kidnappers who abducted a Syrian Orthodox priest three days ago left his beheaded corpse in an outlying suburb of the northern city of Mosul last night. Father Boulos Iskander, 59, was snatched off a Mosul street on Monday afternoon (October 9) while searching for car parts at local mechanic shops. The Muslim kidnappers telephoned the priest’s oldest son soon afterwards, demanding $350,000 ransom from the family. After negotiations in several more calls, the kidnappers gradually reduced their demands to $40,000 but added another stipulation: that the priest’s church must publicly repudiate Pope Benedict XVI’s remarks about Islam in his lecture in Germany last month. The family managed to raise and pay the ransom, and the St. Ephram parish of the Syrian Orthodox Church placed 30 large signboards on walls around the city, distancing itself from the pontiff’s comments. But then the telephone calls stopped. Fr. Iskander’s dismembered body was discovered last night (October 11) at about 7 p.m. in the remote Tahrir City district, two kilometers (1.2 miles) from the center of Mosul. His arms and legs had been severed and arranged around his head, which rested on his chest. His remains were brought to a local hospital, which then notified his church.” (Link)

Now, what was that other beheading….. oh yes, here we are. In Thailand…

“Suspected Muslim insurgents in southern Thailand beheaded a man in a gruesome attack carried out in the presence of the victim’s daughter, police said today.

The man was identified as a 45-year-old Burmese worker at a prawn farm in the Nong Chik district of Pattani province, one of three Muslim-majority provinces in Thailand that has been gripped by a deadly insurgency since 2004.

Four armed men entered the prawn farm last night, blindfolded the man’s 16-year-old daughter and shot the man at close range before beheading him, said police Colonel Thawan Nakarawong, head of the Nong Chik precinct.

The gunmen then picked up the head and drove about 20km to a site where they tried to blast it with a bomb, but the device failed to detonate, Thawan said.

“The insurgents left a note demanding that police and soldiers pull out from the area, otherwise they will kill more people,” Thawan said. ” (Link)

And what about the picture of the young woman with the scar? Well, she is a survivor of an attempted beheading. Her 3 school companions, did not survive.

She recently underwent surgery in Surabaya, Indonesia, to address a number of complications from the injury, as well as the scarring, officials said. She had suffered from an involuntary tick in her eye, and another near her mouth, because of the deep cut.

She also had severe nerve damage and a dislocated jaw, and deals with severe and sudden pain as well as the emotional trauma of having survived such a gruesome attack, officials said.” (Link)

As usual, here is no outcry from the media or the so-called human rights groups. In fact, the somnolent public pays more attention to beheaded ducks than then to victims of Islamic peace attacks.

I’d suggest keeping an eye out for all of the young Jihadists in the neighborhood. The ducks may have just been practice. Young islamics learn blood lust early in life.

They are a cancer mutating through our government, our prisons, our universities and our communities, culling leagues of political sycophants, networking like the most adept American sales pro, bartering lies for concessions, embraced by a body of politicians whom I can only describe as decayed in will, spirit and mind; a passel of febrile and castrated men whose convictions are dry rotted – shredding at the merest wisp of a breeze – unable to support an ideal nor a promise.

I’m weary with the reading of it and the writing of it. Conservatives have to move against all the existing limitations and encroachments on free speech being imposed under so called hate speech laws. Any and all other convolutions of the law that the priesthood of liberal judges can conjure up to suppress opposition have to be firmly routed and defeated. If we can’t gain that ground back, we lose it all.
We have to be free to lawfully monitor every frigging land deal, every local election, every elected or nominated member on school boards, every bit of curriculum our kids see. We have to somehow raise enough awareness of the kind of deals and concessions that are being made and put these subterranean Muslim political machinations above the radar so that all of us know that a mosque is proposed or state-church law is to be violated , or 8 weeks of Islamic studies have been placed in the curriculum.

We have got to take the battle back to them and by them I mean the left and Islam. Be it Soros or Socialists or John Dean or Sheik Mo-frigging-hammad – they will destroy America. The riots that we see in France by a lazy pathetic and cowardly populace will soon be our plight. Maybe by then the American flag will be completely banned. Should it come to the point where we allow that to happen then we don’t deserve to fly her any longer. There is no courage or vision left in government and all of the men worthy of leading this country are being killed in Iraq.

For what?

So the rest of us can just continue to get our teeth kicked out by libs and muslims and their trained media flunkies? They fight and we sleep.
But to tell you the truth, I don’t sleep all that well these days anymore.

I’ve been trying to catch up, going through my news feeds. When I get to writing over in my “day” blog (it pays the bills), well, those words I use over there describe a far different world – a world of recreation and play and zestful, vigorous American living. And it gets hard to come back in here to Sass. I’ve tried a few times in the last few days to finish this particular post but every time I go back into my news feeds to look for different material I feel like I’m drowning.

The cowardice of the media, the endless liberal posturing and histrionics, Bush’s stuttering performance and the steady drumbeat of Islamic dhimmitude – it all starts seeming rather ominous, foreboding, as if there is no turning back the approaching maelstrom.

And there isn’t a hell of a lot that I can think of to do about it. But then I keep coming back to this idea that I have had for a long time. I can start watching my local government. Local school boards. Planning commissions. Zoning commissions. Town council. Civic government is an arena where the enemy makes himself at home.

Here are the recent articles that put this notion back in my head.
First this from LGF:

“An Islamic society that sued for defamation after local news outlets linked it and its stalled mosque project to anti-Semitic extremists offered Friday to stop litigation in exchange for private mediation…. the suit named several individuals and community groups who questioned the society’s ties, a move decried as an attempt to bully people who were asking legitimate questions about the mosque. This Boston Mosque story demonstrates, in my mind, the areas where we as simple citizens have been so compromised, so pathetically undefended,that I hardly know how we can undo the damage that has been done. Undefended, because we didn’t think to keep an eye on who is running for the school board or the planning commission or the local zoning commission or who the various committees and town councils that govern our towns are composed of.

Hell, I’m thinking that when I read about this town council or the other voting to impeach Bush or making some statement about the war or refusing to participate in national security, well, I foolishly snicker. Who the hell cares about town councils?

Muslims do.
Socialists do.

Activist of every stripe and color do.

1998. Before 9.11. Before anyone gave a damn about mosques particularly. Back in 1988 I was showing real estate in West Chester, a booming area north of Cincinnati and was disconcerted when looking for an address in a typical suburban development to find a mosque dropped incongruously into the neighborhood. Go ahead and click that link, zoom in – it is the compound that you can see just to the left of the red address icon. Now push the map around and note the immediate neighborhood. Also note that they are far from the urban core, in fact, it has since become one of the wealthiest zip codes in South West Ohio. At the time, islam had not an iota of significance to me but I was damn irritated at whatever zoning fluke allowed for the existence of an edifice that was so obviously detrimental to adjacent property values.

But it was no more a “fluke” in West Chester than it was a fluke in Boston. It is simply the American way. You wish to build an edifice and you have a piece of land that you wish to acquire, a zoning variance made, you do what it takes to reach your goal. And if you are an Islamist, you practice Taqiya. You coerce and curry political favor and play the race card when thwarted.

And you continue the steady media drumbeat of dhimmitude via the willing and compliant local “reporters” who in self-righteous lock step produce cloying pieces on understanding and tolerance (spit).

Town councils, the ‘county seat’, municipalities, advisory boards, school boards, city planning commissions; all of those ,small drab courtroom chambers,public reviews, and poorly ventilated conference rooms are the locales wherein the dismantling of America began long ago. And Islamists who believe in umma and not America have become adept at using our system to take us down.

If American citizens started monitoring their local governments on a regular basis perhaps those Islamists who are so eager to use our system won’t find their way uncontested. Perhaps back room deals made with PC addled small town politicians won’t be so easy to conceal.

In Iraq the Islamofascist blends in with the civilians to inflict the most severe damage. And the Islamofascist in America blends in with the men and women who walk the corridors of power and commerce. They do not plant bombs but they acquire rights and land and concessions that accomplish the same goal as their murdering kin. The destruction of America.

Our men are taking bullets for us in the middle east and we in turn are making their deaths meaningless by our insane paralysis.

So, where will you be when town council meets this week? Who is sitting on your school board?

This is how they do it. For all of those who are happy to see the last vestiges of Christianity disappearing, I hope you will be as vociferous against the attempts of Muslims to assert their “moral” authority and attempt to incorporate their religious mandates into our “secular” society.

Here we have a little pristine Muslim bitch trying to insinuate that women are responsible for their own rapes. She has a slight point. If most women look like “it” is for sale, they ought not be too aggravated when men attempt to see if the merchandise is worth it. That personal sentiment aside, it is still incumbent upon the man not to touch what isn’t his. Personal responsibility.

But this lightweight wants to assert that it falls upon the woman to inhibit her behavior and says nothing of a man’s responsibility to keep it in his pants. Were this speaker a no-name Christian as opposed to a no-name Muslim this event would never have merited the attention of the press.

In fact, what is nauseating is the Muslim appropriation of a moral issue as if their pronouncements were unique. Similar sentiments, expressed by Christians, are routinely mocked as censorious, judgmental and hopelessly backwards.

Perhaps it’s the left’s deep empathy for the nihilism inherent in Islam. Those who always succumb to gods and celestial longings, be it Jim Jone’s kool-aid flock or Oral Robert’s unflappable contributors, they are the ones who need what they think Islam is selling.

And apparently humans will buy into slavery. Willingly.

What Are We Doing About It?

It could be said that the Islamic appetite to devour freedom is insatiable. Given the gigantic strides they have made in trashing free speech in England, as demonstrated by the BBC’s Pavlovian suspension of Kilroy, one would expect to witness some of the joyous exuberance they demonstrate when seeing the blood and guts of a murdered Jew or American. But no, they enjoin their minions to further berate the BBC for taking an entire three days to accomplish this latest act of censorship. Then they proceed to be appalled for us Zionists [ed:Link dead] defending against their onslaught.

And I say the fault is our own. We are warned again and again and we witness CAIR’s duplicate behavior here and we all blog and bellow but, are we organized against it? Do we raise our voice every time CAIR does? Do we confront them in court every time they attempt to convict someone via new pc legislation? Do we defy them at our school boards when they insist on Islamic studies in public schools?
