Cultural Marxism

PDX 911 Truth on Frankfurt School Cultural Marxism in America from rcoones on Vimeo.

Valdas Anelauskas lives now in the USA having been driven out of his home country (Lithuania), under political exile, and is doing his best to expose the Frankfurt School and Cultural Marxism and how it is being implemented here in the USA.

He states in one of his writings:

“Today, reflecting on the time when we first arrived here, I realize how naive I was. Or perhaps ignorant. I really believed that the United States of America was a democratic and free country. Moreover, I imagined it to be a highly advanced and progressive nation, maybe even the most civilized country on earth in history. How foolish of me!”

He points out that many of the Marxist plans and ideology he saw in the USSR are actually happening here in the USA within popular social movements …. having different names but Marxist never the less. Most have no idea it is happening. Cultural Marxism is very much alive here and the plan is being carried out here and now. The location of the presentation had to be changed twice at the last minute because of disrupters.

Carrie Prejean.

Once again I’m just flabbergasted at the unthinking stupidity of the lefty morons, this time over their treatment of Carrie Prejean, Miss California. Go to this post at Hot Air and watch, in disbelief if you have a working mind, the two videos there.

The good news is that they do harm to themselves.

Democrats, Friends of the Poor and Disadvantaged.

Or so they would have you believe, they never tire of talking about it and telling you about the heartless fat cat Republicans, they are the masters of the ‘Give a Dog a Bad Name’ strategy.

Meantime see how they pander to the Teachers’ Union fat cat ideologues and stick it to the poor of Washington DC, from the Washington Post, the whole column.

Presumed Dead
Politics is driving the destruction of the District’s school voucher program.

EDUCATION SECRETARY Arne Duncan has decided not to admit any new students to the D.C. voucher program, which allows low-income children to attend private schools. The abrupt decision — made a week after 200 families had been told that their children were being awarded scholarships for the coming fall — comes despite a new study showing some initial good results for students in the program and before the Senate has had a chance to hold promised hearings. For all the talk about putting children first, it’s clear that the special interests that have long opposed vouchers are getting their way.

Officials who manage the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program sent letters this week to parents notifying them that the scholarships of up to $7,500, were being rescinded because of the decision by the Education Department. Citing the political uncertainty surrounding vouchers, a spokesperson for Mr. Duncan told us that it is not in the best interest of students and their parents to enroll them in a program that may end a year from now. Congress conditioned funding beyond the 2009-10 school year on reauthorization by Congress and approval by the D.C. Council. By presuming the program dead — and make no mistake, that’s the insidious effect of his bar on new enrollment — Mr. Duncan makes it even more difficult for the program to get the fair hearing it deserves.

That’s not to mention the impact of the last-minute decision on these families. Many of the public charter schools already have cut off enrollments for the upcoming school year; the deadline for out-of-boundary transfers for the public schools has passed. No doubt Mr. Duncan is right about possible disruption for new students if the program were to end. But scholarship officials have been upfront with parents about the risks, and the decision really should be theirs. Let them decide whether they want to chance at least one year in a high-quality private school versus the crapshoot of D.C. public schools.
ad_icon

That, after all, is what this program is about: giving poor families the choice that others, with higher salaries and more resources, take for granted. It’s a choice President Obama made when he enrolled his two children in the elite Sidwell Friends School. It’s a choice Mr. Duncan had when, after looking at the D.C. schools, he ended up buying a house in Arlington, where good schools are assumed. And it’s a choice taken away this week from LaTasha Bennett, a single mother who had planned to start her daughter in the same private school that her son attends and where he is excelling. Her desperation is heartbreaking as she talks about her daughter not getting the same opportunities her son has and of the hardship of having to shuttle between two schools.

It’s clear, though, from how the destruction of the program is being orchestrated, that issues such as parents’ needs, student performance and program effectiveness don’t matter next to the political demands of teachers’ unions. Congressional Democrats who receive ample campaign contributions from the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers laid the trap with budget language that placed the program on the block. And now comes Mr. Duncan with the sword.

Every day comes something disgusting about the Democrats and yet millions vote for them. The millions who are either idiots or bought and paid for I guess.

Thomas Sowell.

I love Thomas Sowell’s Random Thoughts. From today’s column:

Socialists believe in government ownership of the means of production. Fascists believed in government control of privately owned businesses, which is much more the style of this government. That way, politicians can intervene whenever they feel like it and then, when their interventions turn out badly, summon executives from the private sector before Congress and denounce them on nationwide television.

Two thoughts of my own, how can any reasonable person believe that the Obama Presidency can turn out other than disastrously and it’s a serious defect of a country that an Obama can be elected as Pres when there are people like Thomas Sowell around.

Hussein Obama’s Spread Cheeks Policy

Obama's Spreads His Cheeks

I have used this image once before  to refer to Obama’s foreign policy posture, but I didn’t realize how completely and explicitly  he would model  the denigration he intends to inflict upon America.

There isn’t a bone in my body nor an inclination in my soul that would have me bowing to another human being. NONE. NADA. Perhaps because I am an American to my core and Americans do not bow down, God being the only exception.  But our Resident in the former White House is not particularly American and he  most certainly serves other gods than the Christian one he adopted for  political expediency.

Protein Wisdom makes short work of  the Resident’s  “genuinely obsequious-looking bow”.

Giuliani once practically spit in the face of a presumptuous Saudi Prince. Our President? He fucking bowed.

He bowed to religious intolerance.

He bowed to misogyny.

He bowed to anti-semitism.

He bowed to homophobia.

In short, he surrendered our country’s ideals, offering up our principles for sacrifice on the altar of Otherness — behaving much as the Brits’ royal class and the continental elites have long behaved, favoring the sumptuous decadence of flowing robes and exotic scimitars and sweet tea respites to the bustling workaday democracy of capitalist Jews and their “shitty little country.”

Would-be royalty sticks together, I guess. And by bowing before a Saudi Prince, our President — in addition to taking a piss on 200+ years of precedent — has shown himself to be as principled as many of us knew him to be. Which is not principled at all.
From… Yes. But the real question is, did he give him a toy helicopter or a bitchin’ iPod, too?

Free Speech Choking

A little here, a little there. With one hand the politicians whip up economic frenzy while with the other hand they are strangling liberty.

March 19, 2009

By Asher Moses (Sydney Morning Herald)[1]

The Australian communications regulator’s top-secret blacklist of banned websites has been leaked on to the web and paints a harrowing picture of Australia’s forthcoming internet censorship regime.

censorship

Wikileaks, an anonymous document repository for whistleblowers, obtained the list, which has been seen by this website, and plans to publish it for public consumption on its website imminently.

Wikileaks has previously published the blacklists for Thailand, Denmark and Norway.

University of Sydney associate professor Bjorn Landfeldt said the leaked list “constitutes a condensed encyclopedia of depravity and potentially very dangerous material”.

He said the leaked list would become “the concerned parent’s worst nightmare” as curious children would inevitably seek it out.

But about half of the sites on the list are not related to child porn and include a slew of online poker sites, YouTube links, regular gay and straight porn sites, Wikipedia entries, euthanasia sites, websites of fringe religions such as satanic sites, fetish sites, Christian sites, the website of a tour operator and even a Queensland dentist.

“It seems to me as if just about anything can potentially get on the list,” Landfelt said.

The blacklist is maintained by ACMA and provided to makers of internet filtering software that parents can opt to install on their PCs.

However, if the Government proceeds with its mandatory internet filtering scheme, sites on the blacklist will be blocked for all Australians. The Government has flagged plans to expand the blacklist to 10,000 sites or more.

In a special report, written in conjunction with the Internet Industry Association and presented to the Government over a year ago, Landfeldt warned that “list leakage” was one of the main issues associated with maintaining a secret blacklist of prohibited sites.

Dear Employee, Buh-Bye

Found this at Free Republic. I don’t know if this letter ever went out to some company employees somewhere, but it certainly tells the tale. If I owned a business, I’d be saying exactly what this guy is saying – except for the part about leaving the country. Even if he would leave, I am fairly certain the Obamanite will extract a pound of flesh from him anyway.

A letter from the boss
From Neal Boortz’s Nuze | Unknown

Posted on Monday, January 19, 2009 9:35:25 AM by Las Vegas Ron

To All My Valued Employees,

There have been some rumblings around the office about the future of this company, and more specifically, your job. As you know, the economy has changed for the worse and presents many challenges. However, the good news is this: The economy doesn’t pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is the changing political landscape in this country.

However, let me tell you some little tidbits of fact which might help you decide what is in your best interests.

First, while it is easy to spew rhetoric that casts employers against employees, you have to understand that for every business owner there is a back story. This back story is often neglected and overshadowed by what you see and hear. Sure, you see me park my Mercedes outside. You’ve seen my big home at last years Christmas party. I’m sure; all these flashy icons of luxury conjure up some idealized thoughts about my life.

However, what you don’t see is the back story.

I started this company 28 years ago. At that time, I lived in a 300 square foot studio apartment for 3 years. My entire living apartment was converted into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you.

My diet consisted of Ramen Pride noodles because every dollar I spent went back into this company. I drove a rusty Toyota Corolla with a defective transmission. I didn’t have time to date. Often times, I stayed home on weekends, while my friends went out drinking and partying. In fact, I was married to my business — hard work, discipline, and sacrifice.

Meanwhile, my friends got jobs. They worked 40 hours a week and made a modest $50K a year and spent every dime they earned. They drove flashy cars and lived in expensive homes and wore fancy designer clothes. Instead of hitting the Nordstrom’s for the latest hot fashion item, I was trolling through the Goodwill store extracting any clothing item that didn’t look like it was birthed in the 70′s. My friends refinanced their mortgages and lived a life of luxury. I, however, did not. I put my time, my money, and my life into a business with a vision that eventually, some day, I too, will be able to afford these luxuries my friends supposedly had.

So, while you physically arrive at the office at 9am, mentally check in at about noon, and then leave at 5pm, I don’t. There is no “off” button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have the freedom. I eat, and breathe this company every minute of the day. There is no rest. There is no weekend. There is no happy hour. Every day this business is attached to my hip like a 1 year old special-needs child. You, of course, only see the fruits of that garden — the nice house, the Mercedes, the vacations… You never realize the back story and the sacrifices I’ve made.

Now, the economy is falling apart and I, the guy that made all the right decisions and saved his money, have to bail-out all the people who didn’t. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed a decade of my life for.

Yes, business ownership has is benefits but the price I’ve paid is steep and not without wounds.

Unfortunately, the cost of running this business, and employing you, is starting to eclipse the threshold of marginal benefit and let me tell you why:

I am being taxed to death and the government thinks I don’t pay enough. I have state taxes. Federal taxes. Property taxes. Sales and use taxes. Payroll taxes. Workers compensation taxes. Unemployment taxes. Taxes on taxes. I have to hire a tax man to manage all these taxes and then guess what? I have to pay taxes for employing him. Government mandates and regulations and all the accounting that goes with it, now occupy most of my time. On Oct 15th, I wrote a check to the US Treasury for $288,000 for quarterly taxes. You know what my “stimulus” check was? Zero. Nada. Zilch.

The question I have is this: Who is stimulating the economy? Me, the guy who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000 people per year with a flourishing business? Or, the single mother sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next welfare check? Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this country.

The fact is, if I deducted (Read: Stole) 50% of your paycheck you’d quit and you wouldn’t work here. I mean, why should you? That’s nuts. Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, I agree which is why your job is in jeopardy.

Here is what many of you don’t understand … to stimulate the economy you need to stimulate what runs the economy. Had suddenly government mandated to me that I didn’t need to pay taxes, guess what? Instead of depositing that $288,000 into the Washington black-hole, I would have spent it, hired more employees, and generated substantial economic growth. My employees would have enjoyed the wealth of that tax cut in the form of promotions and better salaries. But you can forget it now.

When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don’t defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart? Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the poor of America are the essential drivers of the American economic engine. Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change you can keep.

So where am I going with all this? It’s quite simple.

If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers. You can then plead with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV, and your child’s future. Frankly, it isn’t my problem any more.

Then, I will close this company down, move to another country, and retire. You see, I’m done. I’m done with a country that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, will be my citizenship.

If you lose your job, it won’t be at the hands of the economy; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country, steamrolled the constitution, and will have changed its landscape forever. If that happens, you can find me sitting on a beach, retired, and with no employees to worry about… (source)

He isn’t alone by any means.

A 63-year-old attorney based in Lafayette, La., who asked not to be named, told ABCNews.com that she plans to cut back on her business to get her annual income under the quarter million mark should the Obama tax plan be passed by Congress and become law.

So far, Obama’s tax plan is being looked at skeptically by both Democrats and Republicans and therefore may not pass at all.

“We are going to try to figure out how to make our income $249,999.00,” she said.

“We have to find a way out where we can make just what we need to just under the line so we can benefit from Obama’s tax plan,” she added. “Why kill yourself working if you’re going to give it all away to people who aren’t working as hard?”

The Skinny on Marxism.

Without having read Marx it might seem a tad dumb for me to sound off on it as I sometimes do but I’m sure we’ve all read enough about it to have formed opinions and for sure we’ve seen the results of its implementation in various place around the world. It’s good therefore to fine a potted rebuttal of all the tenets of this Old European Totalitarian Thought System.
I wonder what Norm would say to it, he being a professor of Marxism. I will send it to him and wait for his reply damning it as simplistic.

The article, written by Stephen Plaut, ends with this:

Marxists claim that Marxism is a science. It is not. It is today little more than a form of mental illness.

H/T Alan Sullivan.

So I took myself over to Norm and he was already on to it, sort of agreeing with some of it but disagreeing with most. I won’t try to argue with him, he’s way too smart for me and he really knows his Marx. But the question remains, why has Marxism been such an abject failure in the real world away from cerebral creation of Marx’s imagination? And I still see it as part of the central European totalitarian mindset from Napoleon through Marx and Hitler to EUtopia today. Even the catastrophe of WW2 didn’t destroy the virus, it just mutated and gave us the EU. It has always been a low grade infection in the US awaiting the weakening of our immunity which has unfortunately been brought about by the Great Generation, seeking to give their offspring a better life than they endured and instead bringing up a pampered, spoiled and immature generation who now have their Messiah, aka The Idiot in Chief.

Time for Some Optimism.

I think I’m over the shock of Obama’s election but not the disbelief that so many, and so many otherwise intelligent, people were willingly taken in by him. Unless before too long Obama has a Damascus moment and throws all his fellow ideologues and his ideology under the bus disaster lies ahead. But that disaster will mark the end for a long time of the liberal disease that has infected the land, the damage done will be repaired eventually just as the damage of five years of war against Germany and Japan was repaired. It will take longer because you can’t destroy the liberalism in the manner of the WW2 enemies, but then again, maybe not, Americans are a prosperous resilient people and once they understand that the disaster that Obama brought about was deliberate and for hidden reasons of imposing an alien ideology that has failed wherever it’s been tried their anger will be intense, no less so in those who ‘believed’ all the hope and change hokum.

William Rusher’s final column, he is 85, shows an old man’s wisdom and perspective on the current debacle that America has unaccountably and willingly brought about.
He ends thusly:

So, I am basically an optimist for the future of the United States. Historically, its deepest roots are moral, grounded in the Anglo-American religious tradition. When we act as a nation, we tend to act in that tradition, respecting what we recognize as its obligations. The result is that our actions have generally been just and courageous. We have not always lived up to our highest ideals, but we have seldom slipped far below them. It is impossible to know what challenges will confront the United States in the years ahead, but there is reason to believe that we have within us the resources to meet and overcome them.

There have been bad Presidents before of course, but I don’t think any of them set out deliberately to impoverish America in order to impose what anyone with half a brain knows is a failed ideology and in order to leave her unable to meet the challenge of the deadly totalitarianism that is Islam. One wonders at his motivations, Islamism, Marxism, Messiahnism, seem almost inadequate to fully explain the idiot ideology he suffers from. An overarching thought that takes them all in as useful tools in his scheme to bring down the US is that he is simply anti-American because he isn’t an American, he is an alien, and this is what he has managed to hide with the help of the aforementioned -isms and the help of the useful idiots of the MSM.

It’s a Mad, Mad World.

Another nutty Obama appointment.

Pregnancy provokes a welter of feelings, physical and emotional. But does anyone really think of pregnancy as slavery? Apparently so: Indiana University law professor Dawn Johnsen, Pres. Barack Obama’s nominee to head the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel.

Yale-educated and ACLU-trained, Johnsen already has done one tour of duty at OLC. She spent nearly six years there during the Clinton administration (1993–98), the last two as acting chief. OLC, a critically important agency, is the administration’s lawyers’ lawyer. Staffed by graduates of top law schools who are then polished by elite judicial clerkships, it authoritatively interprets the law for the attorney general and, in doing so, drives administration legal policy. OLC’s credibility is derived from its reputation for apolitical, academic discipline — its commitment to informing policymakers of what the law is, rather than what staffers believe the law should be. Johnsen is, for that reason, a poor fit: She is an ideologue, and an unabashed one.

Her bizarre equation of pregnancy and slavery was not an off-the-cuff remark. It was her considered position in a 1989 brief filed in the Supreme Court. At the time, she was legal director of NARAL (then the National Abortion Rights Action League, since renamed NARAL Pro-Choice America). The case, Webster v. Reproductive Health Services, involved a Missouri law that did not ban abortion but restricted the use of state funds and resources for abortions. It’s an obvious distinction, but one without a difference — at least according to Johnsen. Any restriction that makes abortion less accessible is, in her view, tantamount to “involuntary servitude” because it “requires a woman to provide continuous physical service to the fetus in order to further the state’s asserted interest [in the life of the unborn].” In effect, a woman “is constantly aware for nine months that her body is not her own: the state has conscripted her body for its own ends.” Such “forced pregnancy,” she contends, violates the Thirteenth Amendment, which prohibits slavery.

Where do all these assholes come from?

From the UK Telegraph

Terrorist suspects claiming unemployment benefits
Terrorist suspects placed under control orders restricting their movements are being paid unemployment benefits after promising to seek work in Britain.

Too many Western governments have gone soft in the head.

As a counterbalance to such idiocy, see this extremely interesting story of a British female ‘tree hugger’ who was invited by General Odierno to shadow him as he carried out his duties. As a bona fide tree hugger she hated armies and the US equally, but in the end came to admire both Odierno and the US Military.

I’m saving this post from American Thinker for all the people I run into who think Bush [of course] and Wall St are responsible for the financial crisis. The icing on this particular cake is that it’s from the NYT before Bush was elected.

America Awakening.

Not quite a month since the inauguration and my coinage ‘Obamadebacle’ is up front and in view for anyone to see. The strange part is he seems to not care and the question is why? Under any normal circumstances he would be on track to destroying his chances of re-election. Two things come to mind, the first is that in order to make the massive change in America that he and his acolytes envisage, he had to hit the ground running and throw everything into the effort and let the devil take the hindmost. Do you think the huge ‘stimulus’ package, all one thousand odd pages of it was thrown together in a couple of weeks in Congress? No, this is all part of a long term well laid out plan. First they ruin the economy via the Community Re-Investment Act courtesy of Raines, Dodd and ACORN. Push it over the edge in the last part of the Presidential campaign to doom the Republicans and get Obama into the White House. [The reason they went nuclear over Sarah Palin was that she scared the shit out of them, she was the rock on the track of their Marxist Express Train about to de-rail it, she had to be blasted out of the way. They're a nasty lot these compassionate lefty Bolsheviks.]

The second reason he doesn’t care it that with the ‘stimulus’ package, he has earmarked billions to buy votes for his re-election campaign, a la if you take money from Peter to pay Paul you can always count on Paul’s support. Add those Pauls to their natural constituency and Hey Presto! you have a majority.

If what I say is so, I think they’ve miscalculated badly, but then I never thought he was electable in the first place so I don’t place great confidence in that assertion. Given Obambi’s shape shifting abilities and the short attention span of too much of the populace he could get away with it. Already now the bill is passed he’s gone from ‘catastrophe’ to ‘our grandparents had it much worse, we have the strength to get through this’.

The Prince of Thieves
, an article by Lance Fairchok at American Thinker, is but one of many laying out what’s in store.

The era of Obama-inspired bi-partisan goodwill was very brief. As with all his carefully choreographed pandering, it was in large measure a rhetorical tool. In the language of average Americans a “rhetorical tool” equates to a lie, a lie told to get votes. Obama was very good at convincing otherwise intelligent people that he was sincere, and the “Hope” and “Change” he would bring to often imaginary problems would make America a better nation, bringing opposing sides together to tackle all those problems in consensus and warm fellowship. It was all nonsense. A good speech does not make good government. We are beginning to get an idea of what the next four years will be like. It will be a purely partisan disaster.

We have to hope that eventually this moving target will get hit with enough arrows to pin it down so the casual observer can see it for what it is. The conclusion of the article brings the said target into focus for those of less sure aim.

If you thought we were merely emerging from a divisive election and things will shake themselves out, you should realize it is far more than that. It is no less than an attempt to transform America into a socialist state. It is not the battle of political ideas; it is the battle for survival of our democratic republic against an ideology that is a proven failure and a certain disaster. It is the attempt by socialist elites to implement an agenda that is carefully hidden from the voter and would be abhorrent to them, should they understand the implications. We know that socialism is a road to failure. Examples of that belief system’s depredation are everywhere, from Great Britain to Venezuela, and a hundred points in between. Socialism is a parasite that consumes a nation’s lifeblood, come quickly or slowly it will kill the host.

The Socilaists who call themselves Democrats work hard to consolidate and perpetuate their control. They took us without violence, by subterfuge, stealth, and deceit. But make no mistake, President Barack Obama is motivated by the same controlling impulses that inspire Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Daniel Ortega; it is the same totalitarian tendency that animates all utopian ideologies. In the weeks and months to come, the ugliness of this ideology will become more and more apparent. His associations with criminal, racist, terrorist, and American hating colleagues and friends define him, and at a fundamental level, our new president does not respect the nation he now presumes to lead.

President Obama is the Prince of Thieves, who with his minions in Congress will do more to undermine this nation in a few short years than all the decades of economic turmoil, cold war and the war on terror. He wraps his policies in moral platitudes, cynically using little old ladies at rallies to anchor his inconsistencies and lies in the minds of a credulous public. The press is his willing propagandist.

They are stealing our children’s and grandchildren’s future, they are stealing money that we toiled for, they are weakening our nation and embracing our enemies, and very soon they will steal our freedoms one at a time, hoping we do not notice. Talk radio is already in their sights. They are stealing America. If we let them.

“If we let them”. Words to remember.

Inauguration of Marxist Commences With Censorship – How Appropriate

While those who are sane in this country view tomorrow’s coronation of the Obamanite with deep sadness and trepidation, teachers indoctrinators  represent a segment of the population sufficiently depraved to find cause to welcome the coming tyranny. True to the foul nature that pervades that degraded profession, Mason School District, in the recently red afflicted state of Ohio, will mark the beginning Obama’s reign with censorship. How appropriate.

Mason school officials said they are taking a proactive educational approach in advance of next week’s planned Inauguration Day activities.

“Inappropriate comments that may make other students, staff or families feel unwelcome or uncomfortable in school or on the bus will not be tolerated,” Superintendent Kevin Bright said in an e-mail sent to parents Monday, Jan. 12.

The district, he said, expects students and staff to show respect for President-elect Obama and the incoming administration, as well as President Bush and the outgoing administration, and recognize that “while the election is a competitive process, our nation’s greatness is displayed when all sides come together for a united country.”

Jeff Schlaeger, Mason High School’s psychologist, said “inappropriate comments” occurred around election week when doctored pictures of Obama appeared at the school, including “derogatory caricatures” of him dressed like a terrorist and signs that read “Obama ’08/Biden ’09.” (source)

I am way too irritated to dig up the post, but a few years ago I communicated with a member of the Mason School Board who protested the special accommodations given muslim students for Ramada. Typical of the progressive whores that they are, the board met this woman’s legitimate complaint with denial, lies and evasion. So it is no surprise that the same school would seek to silence dissent. Unfortunately, Mason School in Ohio is not the only indoctrination camp in America to pursue censorship. With Obama at the helm, it will only get worse.

If you are so inclined, contact this pathetic institution of lower learning and edify them on the first amendment. You know how those damn marxists are – they always forget about those pesky little things called rights. And I do not want to hear a damn thing about students not having speech rights on campus – if teachers have the right to suppress, students damn well need to revolt.

Obama and Hitler: If It Walks Like a Duck…..

Just as well that I haven’t had the time or energy to post much lately. This guy says it all just fine. I excerpt a post that I’d suggest that you click here ,or on the title, to read in full.

“I Am A Student Of History”

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.
[...]

And I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary, moral German felt in the mid-1930s. In those times, the savior was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they did know was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory and promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his “brown shirts” would bully them into submission. And then, he was duly elected to office, a full-throttled economic crisis at hand [the Great Depression]. Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it promising jobs to the jobless, money to the moneyless, and goodies for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe, and across the world.

He did it with a compliant media–did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and . . . change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

[...]

Don’t forget that Germany was the most educated, cultured country in Europe. It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And in less than six years–a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency–it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me.

Some people scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. Perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe–and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am.

Best regards

tps

Teachers Shoving Obama Down Students Throats

My 8 year old grandson complained about having Obama preached to him at school. No mention of McCain or Palin. Imagine the license these so-called “teachers” will feel they have if Obama is elected. Get your kids out of public schools. That is all I can say.

HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN/HEARD THIS? THE TRANSCRIPT WAS JUST PULLED FROM NATIONAL REVIEW ON-LINE VIA THE CORNER. GOOD GOD WE’RE BECOMING THIRD WORLD ALREADY…

From Fox earlier (rough transcript):

JANE SKINNER: breaking election news, we have reports of possible voter intimidation in some way — pennsylvania. republicans saying that two black panthers have been blocking the doorway of one polling locations. rick, what are the details on this? what are you hearing?

RICK LEVENTHAL: i do not even know where to begin, but we have reached a polling place in the city of philadelphia. one of the two black panthers who was allegedly blocking the door is standing right over here, with an accused us of intimidating voters because we were here with a camera and microphone. he did not answer questions, other people here have confirmed that another person in black panther attire was holding a night stick and apparently the concern was that they were intimidating people who were trying to go inside to vote. a republican poll observer actually called the police, the police were here and we miss them, they came and left. that person called the police is here. why don’t you tell us — step down off the curb, if you do not mind. what is going on here?

CITIZEN: we got a phone call that there was intimidation going on. i walked up to the door, two gentlemen in black panther guard, one brandishing a nightstick, standing in front of the door. they closed ranks as i walked up. i am a veteran, that does not scare me. i went inside and found full- watchers, they said they had been here for an hour — i went inside and found poll-watchers, they said that they had said not to let people outside because black people are going to win no matter what. at that point, i spoke to him, we would not get into a fistfight, i said, and i called the police.

LEVENTHAL: the person with the nightstick was escorted away, which i just confirmed inside. but the implication is that you were telling me that the black panthers were there to intimidate white voters from coming to this location?

CITIZEN: anyone who is not going their way, i do not know. someone in front of a polling place with a nightstick, that is intimidating for all voters.

LEVENTHAL: this is the first time i have heard of black panthers being stationed outside of a polling place. the one gentleman who is still here, he is a poll-watcher?

CITIZEN: yes, and he can wear what he wants.

LEVENTHAL: the other person was not allowed to be there with a nice that?

CITIZEN: you cannot stand with a nightstick anywhere, that is a weapon. obviously, you cannot stand around with a weapon menacingly in your hand under any circumstances.

LEVENTHAL: that is situation, as far as we know it. we have heard of other incidents in the city, including voting machines breaking down. we heard of an incident not far from here where far — all three machines broke down. people did wait, most of them. lines have dissipated. i have not made it inside yet, we had a skirmish in front of the door. apparently there is voting going on as well. at this point, apparently anyone who wants to vote here can vote here.

SKINNER: i know that they do not have enough people to man ever falling site, but as far as you understand the police have come and gone. is anyone monitoring in case someone is still hanging around?

LEVENTHAL: well there are poll watchers still standing here, we’ve been to at least a half a dozen polls around here and I haven’t seen any police officers, they don’t want a police presence to intimidate some voters, they did escort one gentleman out of here

SKINNER: It’s true in some places they don’t want police on sight, plenty going on there for you

Free Speech : How Much Longer?

Australia to implement mandatory internet censorship

AUSTRALIA will join China in implementing mandatory censoring of the internet under plans put forward by the Federal Government.

The revelations emerge as US tech giants Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, and a coalition of human rights and other groups unveiled a code of conduct aimed at safeguarding online freedom of speech and privacy.

The government has declared it will not let internet users opt out of the proposed national internet filter.

The plan was first created as a way to combat child pornography and adult content, but could be extended to include controversial websites on euthanasia or anorexia.

Communications minister Stephen Conroy revealed the mandatory censorship to the Senate estimates committee as the Global Network Initiative, bringing together leading companies, human rights organisations, academics and investors, committed the technology firms to “protect the freedom of expression and privacy rights of their users”.

Mr Conroy said trials were yet to be carried out, but “we are talking about mandatory blocking, where possible, of illegal material.”

The net nanny proposal was originally going to allow Australians who wanted uncensored access to the web the option of contacting their internet service provider to be excluded from the service.

Human Rights Watch has condemned internet censorship, and argued to the US Senate “there is a real danger of a Virtual Curtain dividing the internet, much as the Iron Curtain did during the Cold War, because some governments fear the potential of the internet, (and) want to control it”

Now Obama Blames Farmers for Pollution and Obesity

In a recent interview with Time magazine, Obama cited an article written by Michael Pollan, a professor and longtime critic of U.S. farm policies. As Obama described it, Pollan’s article was about “the fact that our entire agricultural system is built on cheap oil.”

Obama told Time: “As a consequence, our agriculture sector actually is contributing more greenhouse gases than our transportation sector … and are partly responsible for the explosion in our health care costs because they’re contributing to Type 2 diabetes, stroke and heart disease, obesity, all the things that are driving our huge explosion in health care costs.”

So, I wonder how Obama intends to put us on a diet.  Given his authoritarian disposition, with a thought recalling Stalin’s use of food as a means of control, one wonders where Obama will go with his line of thought. Keep in mind that Soros is a major factor in Obama’s ascendancy and the global politics that Soros is pivotal in orchestrating have nothing to do with American freedoms and capitalism. The key signature of the Soros and Obama is control. And if you control energy, control the food production, control the banks, well I think what you have is Obama’s world. Oh he won’t be the key puppet past his four to eight years, but he’ll walk us through the gates of hell.

But hey, what do I know, fly-over rube that I am. You play with the dots and see how they connect for you.

At April’s G7 meeting of finance ministers in Washington, the World Bank issued statements warning of the impoverishment of entire regions of the world as the result of the food crisis, a situation they believe will not change in the coming year.

Robert Zoellick, President of the World Bank, issued a statement at the same meeting, stating that the rise in food prices would be likely to nullify the fight against poverty.

As the saying goes, “no shit, Sherlock!”

These guys can make their statements with confidence, because they know of the activities of speculative kingpin, George Soros, and people like him. For those unaware, Soros was behind the near collapse of the British Pound in 1992.

Georgie has moved on from currency speculation. That form of profiteering only caused economic hardship. Today, he is aiming fairly and squarely at human death. On the 18th June, Goergie told a Budapest newspaper: “Rather than expecting energy prices to go down somehow, we should accept that it must go further up first, for us to be able to solve the [long-term] problem. Prices must go up first so as to encourage people to consume less.”

[...]

Georgie’s mechanism for pushing prices up is typified by his recent acquisition of all the commodities trading and merchandising business of the giant multi-national ConAgra Foods. This aquisition was made by a private investment fund managed by Soros Fund Management LLC, acting as part of a consortium with New York hedge fund Ospraie Management and New York asset manager General Atlantic. The $2.8 billion deal is estimated as the largest acquisition ever by a hedge fund.

The agreement includes 144 ConAgra facilities, located primarily in North America. Renamed Gavilon, the new company provides physical distribution and merchandising of grains, feed ingredients, fertilizer, and energy products; as well as agriculture, energy, and other commodity trading activities, and “risk management services” — i.e., commodity futures derivatives speculation.

It doesn’t stop there. It goes without saying that Georgie is right in there pushing biofuels. Another string to the bow, the biofuels insanity is a strategy that even the greenies don’t want. The ConAgra operations provide “procurement and marketing services” for ethanol and bio-diesel producers, supply chain infrastructure, as well as financial hedging.

Consider the following and keep it in mind when Obama starts talking about farms and food.

“… it is of utmost importance that an equilibrium be established between the world’s total population and the capacity of ’spaceship earth’…” – RIO: Reshaping the International Order, 1976 (p124)
[...]
The further centralization of food stocks under a single international power would only increase the abuse of food supplies not decrease it. This, quite naturally, is the point. The result of this control is well described by Bertrand Russell (who strongly supported this idea) in his 1952 book The Impact of Science of Society [2]:

“To deal with this problem [increasing population and decreasing food supplies] it will be necessary to find ways of preventing an increase in world population. If this is to be done otherwise than by wars, pestilence, and famines, it will demand a powerful international authority. This authority should deal out the world’s food to the various nations in proportion to their population at the time of the establishment of the authority. If any nation subsequently increased its population it should not on that account receive any more food. The motive for not increasing population would therefore be very compelling. What method of preventing an increase might be preferred should be left to each state to decide.” – 124 (Source)

Schroders Plans to Raise $480 Million for Global Farmland Fund

- Schroders Plc, the U.K.’s largest publicly traded money manager, will create a 250 million-pound ($480 million) fund to invest in farmland around the globe, as prices for agricultural land rise with gains in commodity prices.
[...]
Farmland is enjoying its biggest revival in 30 years as investors including George Soros and TIAA-Cref bet that crop prices, chiefly grains, will be supported by shortfalls in production as demand mounts. In parts of the Midwestern U.S., land prices have risen as much as threefold, while broker Knight Frank LLP estimates U.K. values rose 38 percent on average in the first half alone.

“Some of the opportunities internationally are outstanding,” Bridgeman said in an interview at his office in London…
[...]
About three-quarters of the Schroder fund will invest in other funds specialized in farmland where land values and investment returns can be improved by large-scale farming or by changing land use. (Source)
