If any of you remember the movie Dune, Baron Vladimir Harkonen was a particularly nasty piece of work, addicted to power and depravity and more than willing to devastate a planet to sate his appetite. This image has always brought Soros to mind, though Soros isn’t the only suppurating, maggot ridden, power crazy, elitist and would be dictator playing slice and dice with this planet. There have been, and are, many – but none of us were paying attention.

Soros Dreams....

When you start connecting the dots, the manner of our demise as a free nation and the West’s moribound defense of all of our treasured ideals becomes increasingly evident. A Soros here, a think tank there, an infiltrated academia, a global media machine that eclipses any method of indoctrination ever devised by man and citizens in thrall to satiating their ever growing appetite for the venal and the irrelevant. The links these passages are taken from will lead you to some well documented pieces on some of the means and methods of our undoing.

In his book, The Impact Of Science On Society, written in 1952, Bertrand Russell wrote, “At present the population of the world is increasing at about 58,000 per diem. War, so far, has had no very great effect on this increase, which continued throughout each of the world wars … War … has hitherto been disappointing in this respect … but perhaps bacteriological war may prove more effective. If a Black Death could spread throughout the world once in every generation, survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full … The state of affairs might be somewhat unpleasant, but what of it?”

Certainly that is a line worthy of George Soros and his cadre of elitist social engineers who, in case you haven’t noticed, are doing their damndest to rearrange the very nature of our world.

Russell is expressing a view, long held by many who might be considered “oligarchs”, and who, for many generations, have held themselves to be superior to the vast majority of the population of this planet.

The simple fact is that the world is not “too full.” It might feel like it is, sometimes, as our basic economic infrastructure crumbles round our ears, and as poverty forces the people of large parts of the planet into having large families.

Today’s hikes in oil and food prices are not the result of population fuelled demand, unavailability, or as a lack of capability to produce. They are purely artificial, as the result of Policy.
(source)

Perhaps akin to the policy that the Democrats and RINOs are perpetuating with their refusal to drill or build nuclear power plants??

A Democratic senator on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee inadvertently explained why her colleagues have no intention of ending the moratorium on offshore oil drilling or increasing the areas open for exploration and production – no matter how popular the idea might be with gas prices soaring.

In an interview with Bloomberg TV’s “Money and Politics” last night, Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., explained Democrats don’t want to increase supplies of oil and gasoline because they want to wean Americans off of petroleum products.(Source)

George Soros and his boy Barack Obama are on the same page…

On the 18th June, Goergie told a Budapest newspaper: “Rather than expecting energy prices to go down somehow, we should accept that it must go further up first, for us to be able to solve the [long-term] problem. Prices must go up first so as to encourage people to consume less.”

So Georgie wants us to consume less

And so does Obama….

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.

“That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he added.
(source)

Along with soaring oil prices, add into the mix soaring food prices, partly due to pushing biofuels, and you have the makings of another perfect storm. A storm which George Soros intends to profit from.

Georgie’s mechanism for pushing prices up is typified by his recent acquisition of all the commodities trading and merchandising business of the giant multi-national ConAgra Foods. This acquisition was made by a private investment fund managed by Soros Fund Management LLC, acting as part of a consortium with New York hedge fund Ospraie Management and New York asset manager General Atlantic. The $2.8 billion deal is estimated as the largest acquisition ever by a hedge fund.

The agreement includes 144 ConAgra facilities, located primarily in North America. Renamed Gavilon, the new company provides physical distribution and merchandising of grains, feed ingredients, fertilizer, and energy products; as well as agriculture, energy, and other commodity trading activities, and “risk management services” — i.e., commodity futures derivatives speculation.

It doesn’t stop there. It goes without saying that Georgie is right in there pushing biofuels. Another string to the bow, the biofuels insanity is a strategy that even the greenies don’t want. The ConAgra operations provide “procurement and marketing services” for ethanol and bio-diesel producers, supply chain infrastructure, as well as financial hedging.
(source)

If you are wondering how America has willingly moved this close to the precipice, well, it’s been in the works quite a long time. While all of us were enjoying the bounty of the American dream, the elites have been orchestrating a world order where such bounty will come under their control – along with the rest of us. Obama is but one small chess piece in a game far bigger than any of us has dared to imagine. It really doesn’t matter who wins the election, this game will play on. I mean, who’s gonna stop it?

From Population Control and a World Food Authority

The threat of environmental catastrophe to further the population control agenda is nothing new and continues to this day with the manmade global warming scare. Back in the 1970’s the Club of Rome was not shy at using the environmental catastrophe card to push for population control
[...]
The incredible power that would be accomplished from a massive concentration of food stocks under the control of a single agency did not escape the authors of this report to the Club of Rome. The reigning food situation in the world was dominated by the great dependence of many countries on the North American breadbasket. This gave the Americans a considerable amount of power over their dependent countries.

“the American Secretary for Agriculture who has observed: “Food is a weapon. It is one of the principal tools in our negotiating kit” ” – 29

The further centralization of food stocks under a single international power would only increase the abuse of food supplies not decrease it. This, quite naturally, is the point. The result of this control is well described by Bertrand Russell (who strongly supported this idea) in his 1952 book The Impact of Science of Society [2]:

“To deal with this problem [increasing population and decreasing food supplies] it will be necessary to find ways of preventing an increase in world population. If this is to be done otherwise than by wars, pestilence, and famines, it will demand a powerful international authority. This authority should deal out the world’s food to the various nations in proportion to their population at the time of the establishment of the authority. If any nation subsequently increased its population it should not on that account receive any more food. The motive for not increasing population would therefore be very compelling. What method of preventing an increase might be preferred should be left to each state to decide.” – 124

Also see Aurora’s well researched pieces on the topics of famine, global warming, wealth redistribution and the push to erase all sovereign Western nations.

I can hardly count all of the ways that I find the left to be reprehensible. But what continues to stand for me as one of their most vile and pernicious tactics is their strategy of maligning language by reframing words and ideas. I call it violating reality.

To see many examples of this strategy, go to this google link of all the references to reframing found in the leftest cesspool Daily Kos. Below the fold (in this post) you will find numerous links on the subject that I have collected.

Unfortunately, the left isn’t the only group that deploys this strategy. The traitors in our government, in collusion with islamists, are intent on protecting terrorists by this wretched language legerdemain by attempting to introduce a “terror lexicon” that does nothing less than censor speech and protect terrorists. Not to speak of how such machinations serve to abet the “soft jihad” tactics of islamic scum like CAIR, The Muslim Brotherhood and other enemy entities infiltrating this country.

Fortunately, Congressman Peter Hoekstra has mounted an effort to abort this orwellian move.

…on May 8, 2008, Congressman Peter Hoekstra attempted to add an amendment on the “terror lexicon” to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence bill on 2009 intelligence funding (House Resolution 5959). Hoekstra’s amendment condemned efforts by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), and the State Department to recommend a “terror lexicon” that prohibits use of words such as “Jihad,” “jihadist,” “Islamist,” “mujahadeen,” “caliphate,” etc.

From Peter Hoekstra:

“Al Qaeda itself uses these terms to describe its fight against America, our allies, and moderate Muslims around the world. Why then would we prohibit our intelligence professionals from using the same words to accurately describe al Qaeda’s stated goals?”

“Yet that is exactly what some in Washington are attempting to do. I was dismayed to learn that over the past few months, intelligence bureaucrats at the State Department, the Nation Counter Terrorism Center, and the Department of Homeland Security have issued memos imposing speech codes on how their employees can describe al Qaeda and other radical jihadist groups. They won’t even be able to use the words these groups use themselves to describe themselves. These agencies within the intelligence community won’t be able to use those words.”

“Mr. Chairman, free speech should not be controversial, nor should candid, accurate, and fair discussion of the self-professed goals of the terrorists that attack our homeland and have sworn to kill more Americans.”
“I find it more than ironic that some who have complained the loudest about politicization in the intelligence community would oppose this simple amendment to prevent the politically correct politicization of our Nation’s intelligence community. We all know that political correctness can be the enemy of clarity.”

“We also know that radical jihadists have made repeated efforts to stifle free speech in the West, including the murder of Dutch film maker, Theo van Gogh, and frequent death threats against authors, cartoonists, and journalists.”

“Let’s not give the radical jihadists a victory here by imposing a speech code on America’s intelligence community.”

“How will America understand the nature and the character of our enemy if we can’t use the words that they use to describe themselves and we need to come up with a whole new language that is totally out of context with the enemy and the nature of the threat that we face today?”

Though Hoeskstra initial amendment failed, a July 16th vote passed it by a margin of 249-180 (with 10 abstentions). Please click the link to this full article to get the list of the 180 dhimmis and cowards that voted against it. It is dismaying to see how thoroughly compromised this government is.

Whether or not this amendment to H.R. 5959 ultimately is part of an approved bill signed by President Bush, the greatest value of this amendment is that it gets most congressional representatives on the record on their position regarding the efforts of groups to remove any suggestion of Islamic supremacism or Jihad when it comes to “terrorism.” (Source)

See more links to reframing and other Orwellian horrors below. It’s an art form that the mainstream media has perfected.

The most prolific proponent of this evil-genius-to-be-copied view of Mr. Luntz is George Lakoff, a Berkeley professor of cognitive science and linguistics. In his 2004 volume, “Don’t Think of an Elephant,” Mr. Lakoff holds up Mr. Luntz as “the right’s language man.” Mr. Lakoff has made a name for himself by telling liberals that all they have to do is, in Luntz-like fashion, find the right words–the right “frame,” in his lexicon–and the public will tag along. This profoundly undemocratic view has won Mr. Lakoff a considerable following among Democratic Party leaders. Blurb contributors to “Don’t Think of an Elephant” include Howard Dean, George Soros and Robert Reich. If they want to consolidate their recent victories, Mr. Luntz’s admirers on the left would do well to see in him the doer behind the cynic and self-marketer. Like focus groups and polling, dial testing is simply a way of listening. And leaders listening are part of responsive government. That’s when words work best. Mr. Judge, a former special assistant to President Reagan, is head of the White House Writers Group in Washington. “Words That Work” is available for sale at the OpinionJournal Bookstore

Brands were one of the most common intangible vehicles navigated into murky waters so that a few vested interests could perpetuate their process models. It is now depressingly evident that many of the powerful ways of performing late 20th century branding, have turned vicious: against customers, employees and pensioner investors. The global forms of these costly brands are also a major cause of conflicts between local cultures around the world.

However, the newly discovered mathematics of transparency mapping[i] means that managers, economists, policy makers and opinion leaders of organisational systems can now design and steward brands which respect living system dynamics. Win-win is a natural human construct which means that when you make different promises to two or more groups of people, you are doing so knowing how to keep all of those promises because they are mutually reinforcing. Today we can – and must – conceive promotions and deploy media that go well beyond mere image-making lifestyles to represent Total Brand Corporate Responsibility[ii] models of leadership which purposefully focus on reality-making. Will Beyond Branders be in time to reverse the decay of trust between local cultures around the world? Can we promote win-win relationship exchanges between people in ways that connect human inspiration and network greater value? I am reminded everyday of the urgency of this by my father’s chilling 1984 prediction written from his editorial desk at The Economist: by 2005 the gap in incomes and expectations between rich and poor nations was recognised as man’s most dangerous problem. Other system experts have called this mankind’s final examination.

American democracy is not only compatible with Islam, they are nearly identical, according to this man

First: The new Pope is supposed to be a very smart man, but the passages in bold are stupid and wrong. Since when is Islam monogamous? And since when is it dignified for a woman to become a victim of the most horrible crime, which I will not call by its common disgusting designation but will name it what it is: sororicide –murdering female relatives. Some dignity. (And don’t hand me the old saw about cultural, not Islamic. That’s bullshit. These murders are Islamic through and through.) And from the first day someone begins praying five times a day in a single direction, or reciting words they don’t understand, Muslims begin to manipulate human life; they would nitpick your moments down to the subatomic if they could.

But Jasser amps it up as if it means something. He, too, knows damn well that millions of Muslim women suffer under polygamy and worse, even in the West, even in the USA. He, too, knows damn well that the absolute rulers all across the Middle Eastern Muslim world revel in a depth of moral decadence that would have the Borgias green with envy. (Camel jockeys, mutigenerational pedophilia, extortion, dhimmitude, slavery, and I’m leaving a lot out.)

In the meantime, I remind Dr. Jasser that words have commonly accepted meanings. Don’t try to jam disparate concepts like Islam and democracy together. You have written about the dangers of mixing politics and religion, but again you know damn well that in Islam they are inextricably intermixed, and the policy is to make the world Islam. Muslims need to make clear statements about giving up notions of conquest and about the need for an Islamic Enlightenment, in which Muslims question everything. The rest is either hand-waving or, worse, taqiyya.

That’s right, folks. You’ll be looking at the priest’s back as he drones on in the ancient tongue. That’s progress, back to the future that was the past. That’s when the women were required to attend Mass veiled as well, remember? And why wouldn’t that practice be ressurrected as well? Thus the priest can smile with his Muslim brother, contentedly looking down upon the muffled women.

isembowelling oneself to keep someone else happy is so foreign to the European mind that we have to borrow a Japanese word to accurately describe a current European trend

hereas the Soviet Union was, in the words of Ronald Reagan, the Evil Empire, perhaps the European Union will be remembered as the Glossocratic Empire, probably the first empire in human history built primarily through the ability to manipulate words. This was achieved by downplaying crucial information and drowning the public in irrelevant information, and by boring people into bureaucratic submission.

If you implement your agenda gradually over many years and refrain from openly stating your end goals, you can get away with quite a lot.

If language is used to assault Western culture, regaining control over it should constitute our first line of defense. We have a right to resist those who advocate our nation’s self-termination. A policy which deprives us of self-determination and maybe our children of self-preservation is evil, and we have not just a right, but a duty to oppose it, even if it is championed by our own government; in fact, especially then. It is unacceptable that those who put the survival of our countries at risk are allowed to claim a monopoly on goodness.

One must give Muslims credit for inventing the term Islamophobia, thus demonstrating that they understand the workings of Western glossocracy better than many Westerners do themselves. While nobody had heard of Islamophobia a mere decade ago, it is now the subject of international conferences and is quite literally treated as a threat to world peace.

The real reason behind this passivity is not just that Westerners have been disarmed physically, but more importantly that we have been disarmed culturally, verbally and morally. Cornered linguistically, deprived of words to formulate what we fight for and against and cut off from our historical roots, Westerners have become easy prey for our enemies.

“The most effective way of making people accept the validity of the values they are to serve is to persuade them that they are really the same as those which they, or at least the best among them, have always held, but which were not properly understood or recognised before. (…) The most efficient technique to this end is to use the old words but change their meaning. Few traits of totalitarian regimes are at the same time so confusing to the superficial observer and yet so characteristic of the whole intellectual climate as the complete perversion of language, the change of the meaning of words by which he ideals of the new regimes are expressed. (…) Gradually, as this process continues, the whole language becomes despoiled, words become empty shells deprived of any definite meaning, as capable of denoting one thing as its opposite and used solely for the emotional associations which still adhere to them.”

According to Huntford, the word “freedom” was almost entirely confined to the sexual field in Sweden:

“The Swedish government has taken what it is pleased to call ‘the sexual revolution’ under its wing. Children are impressed at school that sexual emancipation is their birthright, and this is done in such a way as to suggest that the State is offering them their liberty from old-fashioned restrictions.”

He describes a meeting with Dr Gösta Rodhe, the head of the department of sexual education in the Directorate of Schools. She stated: “You see, since there’s a lack of tension in Swedish politics, younger people have got to find release and excitement in sexual tension instead.”

The substitution of one word for the other had been accompanied by insistent propaganda in the mass media, so that it was as if a resolute conditioning campaign had been carried out. Very few were able to recognize the indoctrination in the linguistic manipulation; in the real sense of the word, the population had been brain-washed.”

Like the Russian intelligentsia of yesteryear, the glossocratic intelligentsia of today’s West is busily uprooting the last remaining vestiges of Westernness. The press is one gardening implement they use; education is another.

Needless to say, many more journalists and sociologists are doing so today.

Another part of the communist or politically correct writing is that the journalists assume that every writer (or everyone) should be doing the same thing – when they ask “What should writers do…?” A popular universal cliché from the Marxist discourse is “commitment” and its newer variation, “raising consciousness”. It just happens that the IPCC and Al Gore have received a Nobel prize for “raising consciousness” yesterday. Only Lessing and a small percentage of enlightened readers of the New York Times realize that these are Marxist mind-deadening, propagandist pseudoideas.

Black Muslims a greater threat than al-Qaeda

March 9, 2006 — WASHINGTON – The head of Islamic chaplains in the New York City Department of Correction said in a recent speech that the “greatest terrorists in the world occupy the White House,” Jews control the media, and Muslims are being tortured in Manhattan jails.

The outlandish remarks were made by one of the city’s most prominent Islamic leaders, Imam Umar Abdul-Jalil, the executive director of ministerial services for the city Department of Correction. He spoke at a conference of Islamic leaders in Tucson, Ariz., and was secretly recorded by the counterterrorism organization The Investigative Project .

The recordings capture Abdul-Jalil – speaking at two separate symposiums on Islam in America held by the Muslim Students Association on April 15 and 16 last year – making incendiary charges and espousing extremist views. Abdul-Jalil, 56, who is also imam of the Masjid Sabur mosque in Harlem, initially denied making the comments – but later admitted to The Post that the tape was most likely accurate and said his words are being “taken out of context.”…

As I mentioned earlier in 17% of americans are ok with DPW ports deal my estimate is that 80% of blacks are anti-semitic; much of it due to propaganda like Leonard Jeffries identifies Jews as principal planners, financiers and organizers of the Atlantic slave trade and the rantings of the racist lunatic Louis Farrakhan***.

Certainly, none of this should surprise us; we all recall Imam Intikab Habib, the FDNY Chaplain who resigned after expressing doubts about 9/11 and Imam Warith Deen Umar, the former chief Muslim chaplain barred from the state prison system, after it was reported he was expressing support for the 9/11 terrorists. Actually that last phrase in bold italics needs to be translated from media-speak and politically correct truthiness to actual statement of fact: after it was reported he was recruiting terrorists for al-Qaeda. More MSM white-wash at Michelle Malkin.

All Muslims are a threat to Western Civilization, but black Muslims are a greater threat by virtue of the fact that they do not even need to set up sleeper cells – they already live amongst us accepted as Americans!

And who do you think black muslims will be voting for?

There was much talk after 911 about having failed to “connect the dots”. Should Americans continue along the same path to dhimmitude that Europe has stumbled along it will be because we have failed to connect the network of dots between CAIR and those American politicians and citizens who have willingly lent their names and support to the terrorist front group.

Sad thing is, the dots are plentiful, multiplying rapidly and, with very little effort, you can watch as they connect into the formation of the noose by which your every freedom will be hung.

Islam, courtesy of CAIR, has a pretty public face here in America. Islamists have learned, courtesy of the West, to employ high tech with high fashion, creating media savvy images that they hope will erase the images of their rioting counterparts in France, their murdering fellow ideologues in Indonesia, their Jew hating peers in England. They have adopted the leftist rhetoric that their American audience is conditioned to respond to with Pavlovian dependability and they have found a pliant and incurious America easily satisfied with their mix of bromides.

If you have been imbibing only the bromides, The Project will give you a bit of dyspepsia. Sudden onslaughts of reality can be jarring. But better now then later. Later is becoming much too late.

An examination of Islam requires a glossary for the uninitiated. A Dictionary of Basic Terms provided within the 910 Group blogger’s “Beginner’s Guide to Islam”, is sufficient to the task at hand. That task being to provide an education about the nature of the war that we are engaged in, the war that most Americans have failed to show up for.

It is not the hard jihad of bullets, beheadings and riots. It is the soft jihad of political Islam as it is conducted in America by CAIR and other less visible Muslim groups. And if you are one of those who, contrary to all evidence, insist that we are not at war, then your denial is more powerful than your will to live – but, alas, ultimately, it will not be powerful enough to save you.

If, on the other hand, you are ready to engage in this war, read Stop The Project then visit the 910 Group blog. Look for the email address under the Phoenix to sign up.

This Is How They Do It

I’ve been trying to catch up, going through my news feeds. When I get to writing over in my “day” blog (it pays the bills), well, those words I use over there describe a far different world – a world of recreation and play and zestful, vigorous American living. And it gets hard to come back in here to Sass. I’ve tried a few times in the last few days to finish this particular post but every time I go back into my news feeds to look for different material I feel like I’m drowning.

The cowardice of the media, the endless liberal posturing and histrionics, Bush’s stuttering performance and the steady drumbeat of Islamic dhimmitude – it all starts seeming rather ominous, foreboding, as if there is no turning back the approaching maelstrom.

And there isn’t a hell of a lot that I can think of to do about it. But then I keep coming back to this idea that I have had for a long time. I can start watching my local government. Local school boards. Planning commissions. Zoning commissions. Town council. Civic government is an arena where the enemy makes himself at home.

Here are the recent articles that put this notion back in my head.
First this from LGF:

“An Islamic society that sued for defamation after local news outlets linked it and its stalled mosque project to anti-Semitic extremists offered Friday to stop litigation in exchange for private mediation…. the suit named several individuals and community groups who questioned the society’s ties, a move decried as an attempt to bully people who were asking legitimate questions about the mosque. The suit has also chilled dialogue between the society and leaders of the local Jewish community.”(Link)

This Boston Mosque story demonstrates, in my mind, the areas where we as simple citizens have been so compromised, so pathetically undefended, that I hardly know how we can undo the damage that has been done. Undefended, because we didn’t think to keep an eye on who is running for the school board or the planning commission or the local zoning commission or who the various committees and town councils that govern our towns are composed of.

Hell, I’m thinking that when I read about this town council or the other voting to impeach Bush or making some statement about the war or refusing to participate in national security, well, I foolishly snicker. Who the hell cares about town councils?

Muslims do.
Socialists do.

Activist of every stripe and color do.

Steven Emerson makes the point, via Instapundit

“… Steven Emerson of the Investigative project, who was introduced by David Liebovitz and Paul Singer, co-hosts, penciled in problems of radical Islam’s encroachment here in America. He drew our attention to the failed Sami al Arian trial in Tampa, upcoming ones dealing with Hamas organizations in Chicago and New York. He cited the intimidation by Muslim civil rights groups like the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) -both emblematic of the extremist Muslim Brotherhood abuse of US predilections in our “Kumbaya” society to protect the “human rights” of “victims” and manipulate our basic Constitutional freedoms for their own nefarious ends. Emerson also referred to in passing his own involvement as a defendant in the current libel action brought by the Muslim Brotherhood affiliated Islamic Society of Boston against he and several others, including friends in the David project, as well at electronic and print journalists.”

Now, consider this from The Jewish Russian Telegraph:

“Though the I S B didn’t receive initial approval from the city to build its massive mosque until late 1998, various local Muslim groups had been trying to build a mosque on the parcel in question—sandwiched between Roxbury Community College, the Roxbury Crossing T stop and the Reggie Lewis athletic complex—for well over a decade.”

1998. Before 9.11. Before anyone gave a damn about mosques particularly. Back in 1988 I was showing real estate in West Chester, a booming area north of Cincinnati and was disconcerted when looking for an address in a typical suburban development to find a mosque dropped incongruously into the neighborhood. Go ahead and click that link, zoom in – it is the compound that you can see just to the left of the red address icon. Now push the map around and note the immediate neighborhood. Also note that they are far from the urban core, in fact, it has since become one of the wealthiest zip codes in South West Ohio. At the time, islam had not an iota of significance to me but I was damn irritated at whatever zoning fluke allowed for the existence of an edifice that was so obviously detrimental to adjacent property values.

But it was no more a “fluke” in West Chester than it was a fluke in Boston. It is simply the American way. You wish to build an edifice and you have a piece of land that you wish to acquire, a zoning variance made, you do what it takes to reach your goal. And if you are an Islamist, you practice Taqiya. You coerce and curry political favor and play the race card when thwarted.

And you continue the steady media drumbeat of dhimmitude via the willing and compliant local “reporters” who in self-righteous lock step produce cloying pieces on understanding and tolerance (spit).

Town councils, the ‘county seat’, municipalities, advisory boards, school boards, city planning commissions; all of those ,small drab courtroom chambers, public reviews, and poorly ventilated conference rooms are the locales wherein the dismantling of America began long ago. And Islamists who believe in umma and not America have become adept at using our system to take us down.

Now this from the LGF link:

“A top Boston Redevelopment Authority official who previously downplayed his role in the Roxbury mosque project of the Islamic Society of Boston assisted in the city’s reduction of the price the mosque backers paid for the site from $2 million to $175,000, according to BRA documents that have surfaced in lawsuits over the controversial project. The official, Mohammad Ali-Salaam, the BRA’s deputy director for planning, also raised funds for the project when he traveled to Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates as a representative of the city in 2000.”

If American citizens started monitoring their local governments on a regular basis perhaps those Islamists who are so eager to use our system won’t find their way uncontested. Perhaps back room deals made with PC addled small town politicians won’t be so easy to conceal.

In Iraq the Islamofascist blends in with the civilians to inflict the most severe damage. And the Islamofascist in America blends in with the men and women who walk the corridors of power and commerce. They do not plant bombs but they acquire rights and land and concessions that accomplish the same goal as their murdering kin. The destruction of America.

Our men are taking bullets for us in the middle east and we in turn are making their deaths meaningless by our insane paralysis.

So, where will you be when town council meets this week? Who is sitting on your school board?

Anyone interested in brainstorming the feasibility of setting up a site where bloggers can regularly report local activities in their towns and develop a pool of information that might give us a clearer picture perhaps of how thoroughly compromised we have become, please email me at roadsassy*at*gmail*dot*com.

Better yet, get in touch with the folks at Grizzly Groundswell, or the 910 Group. They are a couiple of groups who are trying to implement citizen watch/response groups.
