The Media Tentacles of Ameri-phobe George Soros
Censorship comes riding in on many a dark horse. On one horse rides anal-retentive little Napoleons like Richard Warman, commanding the imperious storm troopers manning the Canadian “Human Rights” Commission. Other horses steal in bearing very powerful men, men who have deemed themselves guardians of the media gate, deciding what the masses are permitted to see and read and think. Men intent upon shaping the world according to their suffocating utopian vision. Men apparently so frightened of American power and exceptionalism that they are willing to spill treasure, perpetrate treason, and deploy millions solely to eradicate it. Obama supporter George Soros is singing in Jeremiah Wright’s choir.
Let’s sing it one more time. “God Damn America”.
If the Warmans of the world are noisome mosquitoes sucking at the blood of freedom, gluttonous men like George Soros are the cannibals gorging wholesale on the flesh, smirking lips dripping with the blood of their gore while their leftist minions wince and whine about Rupert Murdoch and the oh-so radical right wing.
Not too many commentators seem to have noticed that George Soros is slowly but surely becoming the mainstream media that is the focus of the analysis we do at NewsBusters. The liberal billionaire-turned-philanthropist has been buying up media properties for years in order to drive home his message to the American public that they are too materialistic, too wasteful, too selfish, and too stupid to decide for themselves how to run their own lives.
As Capital Research Center (my employer) reported in a recent paper, three years ago Soros acquired 2.6 million shares of the huge diversified media company Time Warner. In 2006 his companies, Soros Strategic Partners and Dune Capital Management, paid $900 million to buy the DreamWorks SKG film library from Viacom, a move that gave Soros the DVD and rebroadcasting rights to films such as Saving Private Ryan (1998), Gladiator (2000), and American Beauty (1999). As James Hirsen noted, the transaction gives Soros “some highly desirable film rights at a time when the marketing and distribution model is changing to video on demand, video iPods and other forms of digital distribution.” But more importantly, it gives Soros “a presence in Hollywood where likeminded libs are ready, willing and able to collaborate in cinematic social engineering.” Soros is also a funder, whether directly or indirectly, of Media Matters for America, the reflexively liberal noise machine and pretended media watchdog whose modus operandi is to mau-mau the media into mouthing the politically correct platitudes that pass for profound insights on the far left.
Soros is also venturing into media overseas. Earlier this year Soros Fund Management plunked down $100 million for 3% of India’s Reliance Entertainment, a $3 billion conglomerate that aims to provide Internet-based TV programs in India. Reliance also churns out movies and owns movie houses, radio stations and social networking websites in the country with one of the fastest growing economies in the world. When in the 1980s Soros set up offices in Eastern Europe for his philanthropy, the Open Society Institute (OSI), he helped to finance publishers, independent TV and radio outlets, and political parties.
Soros has long been a player in Hollywood. As Rondi Adamson reported in “George Soros, Movie Mogul: ‘Social Justice’ Cinema and the Sundance Institute,” (Foundation Watch, March 2008), OSI has been underwriting “social justice” documentaries since 1996, and in 2001 Soros let actor-director Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute take over his Soros Documentary Fund (since rechristened the Soros/Sundance Documentary Fund).

Zee. Old Georgey boy is just positioning himself to be a player in the NWO. He’s buying his way in, ’cause I doubt too many of the ideologically pure of heart would consider him anything other than the Capitalist pig that he really is. However, as we here all know, a mess of pottage can buy your average moral relativist real cheap these days.
What’s going to be very interesting, for those left around to watch, will be with the real power struggles at the top, once the whole rotten edifice is actually set up, a real dog eat dog bitch fest. Think about it, this whole decadent order is being set up by liars, charlatans, cheats, murders and thieves, just what sort of hierarchical social order do they believe will eventually emerge. Most probably resembling the year of the 3 Emporers, or was it 4, of the old Roman empire, where each previous incumbent was off’d, to make room for the next. Hah, talk about a sword of Damocles hanging over your head. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch either.
I am really beginning to think that our intellectual betters, such titans of deep thought, have not actually thought things through nearly as well as they believe they have, for this new throne will be such a glittering prize, that it will attract every megalomaniac, every aspiring tyrant, every would be authoritarian hopeful; though I doubt any will sit on it for long, for there will be too many pretenders. The only way to reign supreme is with total fear. So, for anyone to hold onto the supreme power for any length of time, it will have to be held in thrall to the supreme being, and so all the courtiers of this new kingdom will, out of necessity of the Grand Emperor’s most pressing survival instincts, be forced to live in perpetual terror. Only a Stalin, a Mao, or better yet an Ashurbanipal III*, will sit upon their throne for any length of time. The fools are blinded by the prize, and fail to see the absolute hell they are setting themselves up for.
* Read up on Ashurbanipal, wonderful old chap. King of ancient Assyria, quite possibly the most brutal and cruel monster to ever have sat on any throne, anywhere. He took great delight in inflicting the most horrendous horrors upon any, absolutely any, who crossed him, and sometimes, those who did not also…. for it pleased his majesty.
What blind fools men be. The silly fools do not understand that their present security is granted to them in full measure by the very social structures that they long to replace. How clueless can you freakin’ be?

Ah Ligneus, would that we had a government with the brass monkeys to tackle the job. If there was any justice in this world, people like Soros would be either pushing up daisies or rotting in some dank prison. And on, that is not an advocacy for fascism, but a simple call for a return to legal and moral sanity.
Mind you, that concept in the hands of the current incumbents of government is a somewhat scary thought. They are, after all, past masters at bullying the victims of crime, while doing their absolute best to ignore their primary responsibility towards the vast majorities, whom they are ostensibly there to represent….what a joke!

He might stand a chance of that in some of the countries he’s mucked about in, were he to run around unprotected - not likely. Russians seem to have a particular loathing for him.
It’s amazing, the Soros footprint is in every developing, third world country ….I’ll have to dig into the abyss of my archives and resurrect some of the posts I did on him.
He implements a basic Gramsci game plan in every host nation that he lays his Open Society pods in.
