[...] Zee at Road Sassy comments thus: But the negatives just keep on coming; his dances with Soros, his questionable staff, his spineless politically correct pandering, his empty rhetoric on illegals. That is quite a bit of material to suppress, to ignore, to pretend isn’t there. [...]

But there has always been a remnant of goodness through human history despite who is in power.

But the ability to control that "remnant", record us, limit our travel, impede even our legal ability to make purchases, never has all that been in play before.
The technology today alone will make going underground impossible for most..........not to mention that the population might as well have collective brain cancer. America's revolutions and civil war at least had a populace who didn't squirm or scream at the sight of a gun. The enemy will be able to cut through us like butter - they have been training to hate and kill and we have been training for reality show marathons.

I hope you are wrong on Obama - the very thought of that little puppet in the Oval office disgusts me to my very core.

Zee, McCain makes me nauseous. He's disingenuous and evil. He was never about winning in my books. I think he knows and we are beginning to realize that he is there as a plant, a RINO as you say. There must be someone completely undesirable at this point of history in the race to the presidency on our side of the fence in order to give the Conservatives of America no way out, no way to resist the flood that is going to sweep a new leader into the seat of power in America and to institute the New World Order. Fred Thompson was never going to make it, nor was Romney, let alone a Ronald Reagan.
I believe it's going to be Obama. We Conservatives will have to find our weapons elsewhere than in the holding of the reins of political power. We have not always had righteousness in governance, and especially if you look back beyond the founding of America. But there has always been a remnant of goodness through human history despite who is in power.
