Obama Wants a Weakened America. Don’t You Wonder Why?

Video via Always On Watch

Though the media and their messiah, Barack Hussein Obama, want Americans to believe that 9.11 was an aberration, that Islam presents no threat, the evidence paints a vivid picture to the contrary. Listed below is only a partial list of threats and plots that have been thwarted.

So it kind of makes you wonder why Obama wants to weaken our defenses. No other major power is contemplating doing so. Russia is actually ramping up. A recent report describes blueprints for an advanced nuclear warhead being found in the possession of smugglers who have been supplying bomb parts to Iran. You know, the country Obama wants to include in his kumbaya world tour whose leader has never deviated from his obsession with obliterating America

It all makes you wonder why Obama wants to cripple America militarily. Doesn’t it?

NEFA’s “Target: America” series examines the multitude of terrorist plots directed at the United States since 9/11, drawing primarily on court filings and other official sources. The “Target: America” memos, which Counterterrorism and Homeland Security Reports identified as “very good reads for CT professionals,” provide detailed insight into terrorist targeting strategies and tactics.

Well … he’s an elite, he’s a multiculturalist, he’s a Marxist, he has Communist links, he has Muslim links, he’s a puppet on a string ….

He’s scary.

perspicio June 20th, 2008 at 12:36 am

Oh, whatever. Obama doesn’t scare me any more than ideologues like the author of this blog with an anal fixation on their end of the shit stick.

Obama? Not a messiah, and not perceived as one. He’s flawed and imperfect, and even he admits that. But he seems to have some good ideas and reasonably solid principles…for a politician. Know what that makes him? Human. And a hell of a lot less narrow and arrogant than our current president, too. You could learn a thing or two. I’m just saying….

You want peace in the Middle East? It ain’t gonna happen overnight, but for starters you could shed your peurile, one-sided, “My Country Right or Wrong, Except Never Wrong” attitude. Try developing a sense of history that accepts responsibility for the seeds of dissent we’ve sown, and maybe you’ll begin to see that we’ve made enemies in the Middle East for over half a century by playing at empire and by propping up corrupt leaders, at the expense of the general population. (House of Saud, anyone? Saddam Hussein? How about Mohammad Reza Shah? Need I go on?)

Would the Middle East be a paradise without our errors? Most assuredly not. But have we exacerbated existing problems and created new ones? Frequently, yes.

When I hear true honesty and integrity from members of the political right, I take them seriously. But you and your fear-mongering half-truths don’t qualify.

Pernicious said Oh, whatever. Obama doesn’t scare me any more than ideologues like the author of this blog with an anal fixation on their end of the shit stick.

Yeah, we scare you Leftists soooooo much…boo!

Obama? Not a messiah, and not perceived as one. He’s flawed and imperfect, and even he admits that. But he seems to have some good ideas and reasonably solid principles…for a politician.

Solid principles? So what banality is he spurting out this time? It changes with the wind. You could always go by his ’solid’ character, actions and associates; like his planting of activist judges, his support for murdering pre-birth infants right up to the moment of birth, his close ties with his bloodthirsty cousin, Odinga and his good buddy America-hating pastor Jeremiah Wright, his lack of knowledge about such trivialities like how many states in the country he’s running for president for…er a moment or two committing that to memory might show that he actually values and respects the office he’s running for. There’s also his comments about the white boys he went to school with, his referral to the Jewish people as ‘kykes’ in his book, his associations with a pack of Marxist buddies when he was at university…and that’s just off the top of my head. Yeah, he’s a real winner that one.

Try developing a sense of history that accepts responsibility for the seeds of dissent we’ve sown, and maybe you’ll begin to see that we’ve made enemies in the Middle East for over half a century by playing at empire and by propping up corrupt leaders, at the expense of the general population.

How dare you cast blame on the one country that has given its lifeblood and treasure to fight off the Soviet menace, enstate democracy in Latin America and cut Hitler short in his tracks. Just what have you given up? If you want to be ashamed of anyone, be ashamed of yourself and the others like you who can only tear down the cradle that held you and gave you a decent life, material goods, freedom and an education that is the envy of the whole world. Your ingratitude makes me want to puke.

When I hear true honesty and integrity from members of the political right, I take them seriously. But you and your fear-mongering half-truths don’t qualify.

How leftists love to hear themselves muttering the same old hackneyed phrases like ‘fear-mongering’. Zee is going to get on here and kick your ever-loving @$$ into next week but let me also say, WHO GIVES A FLYING RAT’S BUTT whether you think she, I or any of us ‘qualify’. We still have free speech, at least the last time I checked…that is until you and your Stalinesque buddies manage to silence that too. Go bag your head.

Aurora June 20th, 2008 at 8:31 am

Sorry Zee, I …er….got distracted…
To answer your question, why does Obama want a weakened America? Because he hates the vitality and power of the true America. Like every other follower of Marxism, like ‘Pernicious’ above, the ideologues of envy politics, he just can’t stand to see America prosper. They’ve got to bring down the greatest nation this contemporary generation has ever seen, just because.

zee June 20th, 2008 at 11:18 am

Obama doesn’t scare me any more than ideologues like the author of this blog with an anal fixation on their end of the shit stick.

Oh my, I wake up and find the effluvia of an offended elitist hovering across my post. You are funny Perspicio, but for all your pompous railing, the only impression that you have managed to conjure up is aptly described as a “hissy fit’ - the oh so banal and wholly expected verbal tantrum one has come to anticipate from those pumped up with the pomposity of empty, hot air and a useless education - much like your buddy Obomba, who, by the way, achieves his messianic status via the benumbed leagues of glassy eyed acolytes that attend his slow and painful walk into oblivion, which, if the fates should still look upon America with favor, is where history will assign his sorry ass.

he seems to have some good ideas and reasonably solid principles.

Well, I must commend your super sleuthing powers of detection because, try as I might, I have yet to discern a “good idea” anywhere in his multifaceted vision to transform America from the breadbasket of the world into the world’s 3rd world trash can. And try as I might, I can’t seem to find a single principle to extol in slaughtering infants, goring the rich and splaying America’s legs wide open for the rape coming her way should a man of such ineptitude and moral pusillanimity be given power to reign.

And certainly P, with your gifted powers of discernment you may have detected his autocratic pronouncements concerning the choices individual Americans will be allowed to make concerning their own future. But then, I have found folks like you very susceptible to being led around by the nose as long as the leash that jerks you through your days is gilded with the platitudes that frees you from the cumbersome burden of independent thought and free will.

Must suck to be you.

And as far as history lessons are concerned dear little P, you might dust off a few tomes that weren’t rubber stamped by whatever miserable schools you’ve attended because you seem to believe that Islamic grievances derive from recent history. If you would like to remove that ring from your nose and actually look at Islam as a whole, you’ll find that America plays a very small part in islam’s animus towards the west and it’s all encompassing disdain for freedom. If I fault America at all, it would be our foolish inclination to spread pearls before swine, enabling an atavistic Arab people to hitch a ride on a civilization that they have contributed little to, but now enjoy the fruits thereof. In other words, little boy, for whatever harm American policies may have caused, the benefits from our presence have benefited the middle east far more than had they been left to humping goats, raping women and racing camels while their crude oil bubbled uselessly below them, awaiting the West’s technology to grant them magnificent wealth.

When I hear true honesty and integrity from members of the political right, I take them seriously. But you and your fear-mongering half-truths don’t qualify.

That’s assuming you ever get a grasp of what integrity looks like, but none of your blather suggests that you have a clue.
The political right that you indicate gains your respect are called RINOs, dear P and you are in luck. This country is rife with vacillating spineless cowards who mouth useless rhetoric while walking us all over the abyss.
Enjoy your ride over that edge sir, and do make good on your word not to take riffraff like me seriously. I’d have to re-examine my premises should I ever receive the insult of your respect.

zee June 20th, 2008 at 11:36 am

Sorry Zee, I …er….got distracted

LOL. And the left is good at that aren’t they - distracting from the issues at hand or the point of the post, which, as to be expected, P didn’t address at all.

They’ve got to bring down the greatest nation this contemporary generation has ever seen, just because.

I agree Aurora, Obama wants us weak, wants us diminished, would have no problem “submitting”, be it to a world court, or Kyoto, or Islam -the man is the poster boy for American defeatism instead of exceptionalism.

zee June 20th, 2008 at 12:27 pm

Well … he’s an elite, he’s a multiculturalist, he’s a Marxist, he has Communist links, he has Muslim links, he’s a puppet on a string ….

Yup, that would be the entirety of his resume - no wonder the libtards want to hire him

ligneus1 June 21st, 2008 at 12:03 am

Aurora and Zee, well done, you certainly took that idiot to the woodshed.

One good coming from Obambi’s candidacy, it lays out in the clear light of day what simpletons they are on the left, that they can be taken in by the empty banality of his speeches and in their insufferable smug self righteousness choose to ignore his connections, traitorous in the case of Wright and criminal in the case of Rezko to name but two of them.

So Pisspot whatever his name is thinks we should learn some history and that American actions over the last fifty years justify Islamic barbarity. And what pray did inoffensive nations like Denmark, Sweden and Norway do to be infested with Muslims? And going back a way, I wonder what he makes of the Islamic claim on Spain several hundred years after they were kicked out after having barbarically invaded it in the first place. I bet there isn’t a word for Chutzpah in Arabic, they seem to have neither the faculty of self criticism nor any trace of humor or irony in their make up.

perspicio June 21st, 2008 at 12:30 am

Aurora:

Yeah, we scare you Leftists soooooo much…boo!

You just keep telling yourself that, dear.

You’ve listed several anxieties that you have about Obama, “off the top of my head” as you put it. They are:

whether he would appoint “activist” judges
his position on partial-birth abortion
association with Odinga
association with Jeremiah Wright
whether he knows how many states are in the country he’s running for president for
comments about the white boys he went to school with
referral to the Jewish people as ‘kykes’ in his book
associations with “a pack of Marxist buddies”

I think it’s safe to infer that these are your biggest concerns you have, since they ranked at the top of your list. I was going to go down that list item by item, but you know what? You are clearly committed to your point of view regardless of what anybody says, so it just isn’t worth my time.

As to your follow-up rant, thank you for perfectly epitomizing what I meant by a “My Country Right or Wrong, Except Never Wrong” attitude. Am I ungrateful for the blessings of the US? Hardly. Your falling back on right-wing narratives and casting aspersions on me without basis in fact cheapens your credibility. And refusing to even allow the possibility into your mind that the US has made errors or engaged in morally questionable activities is incredibly naïve and, frankly, given the preponderance of affirmative evidence, pretty stupid.

As for “fear-mongering”, hey, a spade is a spade. A thing does not become more or less true by the simple act of repetition. You don’t think trumping up rhetoric about Iran “obliterating America” and Obama “crippling America militarily” qualifies as fear-mongering? Okay. But don’t be surprised when thinking people blow you and your empty blather off as inconsequential.

The same criticisms apply to you, too, zee. But I’ll waste fewer words on you, since your barren and hysterical ad hominem attacks indicate you’d be even less likely to deal with reality in a level-headed way. Oh, the irony of claiming a “hissy fit” on my part! Mirrors up, little miss can’t-be-wrong. It’s called projection.

By the way, Islam’s “animus” towards the west? Really? Perhaps a little “useless education” would help you actually make your point, instead of undercutting it.

If these are the best arguments the two of you can muster, please…do your worst, okay?

Anyway, thanks for the wonderful time, but I must be on my way. Toodles.

Just Another Richard June 21st, 2008 at 7:38 am

(In best Michael Myers mode) …  “We are not worthy…we are not worthy. Oh lord of light and virtue, speak to us some more, so that we may bask in the light of your greater glory”

“You’ve listed several anxieties that you have about Obama, “off the top of my head” as you put it.” followed by the statement that these were Aurora’s major concerns…NO retard, these are just indicators as to the general character flaws that the man has hanging around his neck. His track record in the senate is what is dangerous about him, indicating he’ll follow the same socialist bullshit nonsense which has elevated countless other grasping opportunists into positions of power and authority over others, only to stain the seat of that authority with their endless crappy socialist policies of Marxist politics of envy based on failed social engineering experiments.

If we were to listen to the siren call of your greater compassion, we would place our necks in the noose of a conniving opportunists grand desire, always a very foolish thing for any rational human being to do

You lot are not righteous and virtuous better souls than everybody else, your are vain little useful fools, serving an ideology that would enslave your fellow man under the heel of brutality, that is so essential for the Marxist elite to maintain their positions, once they’ve managed to con enough people into putting them in power in the first place.  Small wonder they make common cause with the Islamists, birds of a feather and all.

The question that I have yet to figure out is just which of you, Marxists (or whatever you chose to call yourselves today), or Islamists, is in the greater hurry to step into the blood bath which you all so ardently look forward to. Though I’m not too sure that any towel made by man will wash off the blood anointing your soul after you’ve satiated your thirst.

Have a nice day…and Toodles to you to.

Pbrain sputters:

I was going to go down that list item by item, but you know what? You are clearly committed to your point of view regardless of what anybody says, so it just isn’t worth my time.

Translation: I can’t compose any cogent arguments so I’ll assume an air of superiority.

And refusing to even allow the possibility into your mind that the US has made errors or engaged in morally questionable activities is incredibly naïve and, frankly, given the preponderance of affirmative evidence, pretty stupid.

Translation: I can’t think out of the stereotypical caricature I have of conservatives so I will put words in their mouth, or build a straw man argument.

A thing does not become more or less true by the simple act of repetition.

Apply that to Al Gore and the Obamanista sweetie.

You don’t think trumping up rhetoric about Iran “obliterating America” and Obama “crippling America militarily” qualifies as fear-mongering?

No sweetie, those would be reasonable assumptions based on the rhetoric coming out of Iran and the bilge pouring out of Obama.

By the way, Islam’s “animus” towards the west? Really? Perhaps a little “useless education” would help you actually make your point, instead of undercutting it.

You are so tiresome P, really. That there is animus towards the west is understood. I am saying that it has little to do with America, predates America and would exist if America ceased to exist. They don’t like freedom P, a fact that will become imminently clear to you if your ilk prevails.

please…do your worst, okay?

Well, if I imitated you, I probably would do my worse. As it is, you are a rodent that slipped in for the cats to play with.
Now, as far as ad hominem and projection little boy, your spiels are shining examples of both. Your first words on here:

Obama doesn’t scare me any more than ideologues like the author of this blog with an anal fixation on their end of the shit stick

For your education Pee:

ad hominem 1 : appealing to feelings or prejudices rather than intellect 2 : marked by or being an attack on an opponent’s character rather than by an answer to the contentions made

And of course, you never even attempted to address the facts posed in the post. You just came in and vomited. Twice now.

Given you posed no real argument or facts to refute , I simply used the opportunity to spit on you. Thanks for the entertainment Pee. Now why don’t you go wipe that spittle off your face.
And honey, don’t reproduce and don’t dirty up the joint again.

zee June 22nd, 2008 at 5:01 pm

JAR
I have missed you, good to have you visit, even if only to smack  around the rat that slunk in.

Just Another Richard June 22nd, 2008 at 7:00 pm

Zee. I come here most days and often twice or more. The fact is that the muse has once again deserted me, and one thing I learned a long time ago…if you have nothing cogent to say…say nothing; for when the mind is left idle and wanders, then the fool comes out to play, with all the usual unintended consequences. This beacon of light and virtue who just graced us with his sublime presence is the very standard bearer of that caution about opening one’s mouth, when there is nothing of substance to say.

zee June 24th, 2008 at 12:40 am

I come here most days and often twice or more.
I am flattered that you do so and that prods me to stay consistent, because sometimes I do wish to throw it all to the side of the road.
I learned a long time ago…if you have nothing cogent to say…say nothing
I would have to assert that your most skewed incoherence would be sublimely cogent when compared with 99% of the words one wades though online.

I used to always write from pain, and that is a burdensome muse. But then, even in pain, there was still grace,  and as long as grace remains, transcending pain is possible . Lessons are thus learned. Wisdom imparted,  So words flowed forward, purposeful and fluent.
Now it’s all a shadowlands, grace is fading, words trip over each other, staggering with the weight of the news they carry. Nothing is transcended. The words move nothing forward. No solutions are imagined. Words become like a dervish of rabid foxes chasing their tails…
It is hard to write in these times. It does you well to rest.
No JAR, even your silence is more eloquent than most.
