Barack Obama’s _amerikka bears no relation to the America of our founding fathers. As we approach the Fourth of July there sits on Capital Hill Hussein Obama’s Global Poverty Tax, a piece of legislation that makes a mockery of the Boston Tea Party and about every principle upon which this nation was founded.

Obama’s grand theme is to spread America’s wealth to the world’s poor, as the onetime community organizer from the streets of South Chicago goes global.

The species of hope that Barack Obama preaches is a first cousin of disappointment. He speaks to his followers as though they are victims, and it resonates with them because victimhood is a latent element of their collective self-image. Most of the younger ones in his audiences face historically unprecedented educational and vocational opportunities. Within the reasonable grasp of their individual initiatives is a future that is the envy of most of the world’s youth. Yet they look longingly for someone from the government to offer them hope.

He says, “It’s not too late to claim the American dream,” and they cheer wildly, and some even cry.

Don’t they know that the American dream isn’t a wish granted by a politician, or an entitlement from the government? Do they need a political seer to tell them what to hope for, and dream of, because they are unable to find it for themselves? (Source)

And that is how Obama weakens America. No, that’s how he eviscerates America’s very spine from her body. He summons forth from each citizen not the warrior, but the whiner, not the innovator, but the complainer, the wannabe dreamers with neither the will nor spine to capture their dreams on their own.

Can you imagine what this country would be like were America’s pioneers made of the same moth eaten material as Obama and his febrile supporters? They would have never made it inland from the east coast, let alone successfully execute a war against England and go on to building the greatest nation ever to be established on this planet. I can just see the Obama settlers waiting around for the government to build them a freaking road West and guarantee safe passage while they try to talk nice to some savage Indians (Yes, boys and girls, Indians could be very very nasty too) who just burned their houses down.

Obama supporters would not have had a Boston Tea Party, but a Boston Pity Party.

But let’s put aside the pilfering of our hard earned dollars by this glassy eyed socialist; “One estimate is 0.7% of gross national product, or an additional $845 billion over 13 years in addition to existing foreign aid expenditures.” Let’s look at the very real threat to American sovereignty that this travesty introduces.

These goals include a “standing peace force” (i.e. a U.N. standing army), a “U.N. Arms register” of all small arms and light weapons, “peace education” covering “all levels from preschool through university,” and “political control of the global economy.” The goals call for implementing all U.N. treaties that the United States has never ratified, all of which set up U.N. monitoring committees to compromise American sovereignty. By adopting the Millennium goals in 2000, the U.N. escalated its demands to impose international taxes. Specifically, the Millennium called for a “currency transfer tax,” a “tax on the rental value of land and natural resources,” a “royalty on worldwide fossil energy projection — oil, natural gas, coal,” “fees for the commercial use of the oceans, fees for airplane use of the skies, fees for use of the electromagnetic spectrum, fees on foreign exchange transactions, and a tax on the carbon content of fuels.”

It doesn’t bother U.N. sycophants that most U.S. handouts go into the hands of corrupt dictators who hate us and vote against us in the U.N., and that only 30% of our foreign aid ever reaches the poor. U.N. bureaucrats accuse the U.S. of being “stingy” in its handouts to underdeveloped countries.

When researching Obama’s supporters and ideological kin, one does not have to turn up too many rocks before uncovering yet another Ameri-phobic pimp for socialism. Bernie Sanders, a long time denizen of such rocks and a self-proclaimed socialist, is much admired by Obama, and, as evidenced in the video below, the admiration is mutual. The video itself, from Sanders’ 2006 campaign, is the same predictable prattle one has come to expect from Obama.

And god knows what people in the “People’s Republic of Vermont” are drinking to re-elect this man to the Senate. An Obama win would be a socialist’s wet dream for Sanders. The links below the video give you a clearer picture of what beliefs Sanders espouses and what policies he works to have implemented, comprising a left-wing agenda that Obama is clearly comfortable endorsing. I damn well hope that come election time the majority of people in this country make it indelibly clear that America is not, nor will ever be comfortable with turning this great nation into the welfare state that these men aspire to bring to fruition.

Bernie understands that the United States is a great nation, and that we have much to be proud of. But he strongly believes that Congress, in many instances, has its priorities backwards. Bernie has strongly opposed increases in spending for the military, Star Wars, the CIA, corporate welfare, the Space Station and other programs. He believes it is absurd that we spend hundreds of billions in these areas while, at the same time, inadequate federal spending denies millions of Americans the most basic necessities of life. While Bernie wants to cut spending on the military and corporate subsidies, he wants to increase federal funding for education, affordable housing, childcare, workers’ rights, social justice, veterans’ needs, environmental protection and other initiatives that improve the lives of ordinary Americans.(Source)

But, one might respond, isn’t Sanders, a socialist who espouses some very radical things, so far outside the ideological mainstream that it’s unfair to focus on him? After all, as a House member Sanders favored massive government redistribution schemes and sky-high taxes on the “rich”; the creation of a government-run health system; slashing military spending in half; turning our energy policy over to the government; repealing the Patriot Act; and terminating all trade agreements (“workers in both the United States and in foreign nations,” he once said, “would be better off without free trade agreements”).(Source)

Remember when Bernie Sanders made big headlines for himself by disrupting a board meeting at IBM? The issue at that time was retirement benefits and, regardless of the merits of the issue at hand, his uncontrolled rant has proven disastrous for Vermonters. Since then, the number of Vermont jobs at the IBM facility in Essex has dropped by 2,000 employees. With no significant new investment, the value of the plant has depreciated by 30 percent. This was a severe blow to Essex property taxpayers who had to (and will continue to have to) make up the difference. IBM is growing worldwide and the investment that should have gone into the Essex location has been re-directed to Fishkill, New York.

The lesson here is that when legislators attack or undermine tax generating businesses it is regular working people who suffer with job losses, tax increases, program cuts, or the combination of all three that we are seeing today in Vermont.(Source)

Our other senator, Sen. Bernard Sanders, a fervent Socialist, believes America should withdraw from the World Trade Organization because it favors multinational corporations and The Rich. The WTO is the very organization the world’s major socialist state, China, was so desperate to join that it spent over 15 years trying to look winsome to WTO members. When you’re flying to the left of Communist China, you may want to check your oxygen gauge. These gentlemen subtracted from their repute recently when they co-signed with Sen. John Kerry and Sen. Dianne Feinstein a letter to the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank.

I was scouting out his relationship with self-declared Socialist Bernie Sanders - more on that later - and in doing so, ran into this piece describing Obama’s brief relationship with something called the “New Party”. Americans drink, eat, and breathe freedom from birth. Obama aims to change that, let there be no doubt. The following will give you an idea of the kind of politics Obama plays.

The New Party

• Marxist political coalition
• Was active from 1992-1998
• Endorsed Barack Obama for Illinois state senate seat in 1996

Co-founded in 1992 by Daniel Cantor (a former staffer for Jesse Jackson’s 1988 presidential campaign) and Joel Rogers (a sociology and law professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison), the New Party was a Marxist political coalition whose objective was to endorse and elect leftist public officials — most often Democrats. The New Party’s short-term objective was to move the Democratic Party leftward, thereby setting the stage for the eventual rise of new Marxist third party.

Most New Party members hailed from the Democratic Socialists of America and the militant organization ACORN. The party’s Chicago chapter also included a large contingent from the Committees of Correspondence, a Marxist coalition of former Maoists, Trotskyists, and Communist Party USA members.

The New Party’s modus operandi included the political strategy of “electoral fusion,” where it would nominate, for various political offices, candidates from other parties (usually Democrats), thereby enabling each of those candidates to occupy more than one ballot line in the voting booth. By so doing, the New Party often was able to influence candidates’ platforms. (Fusion of this type is permitted in seven states — Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Mississippi, New York, South Carolina, and Vermont — but is common only in New York.)

Though Illinois was not one of the states that permitted electoral fusion, in 1995 Barack Obama nonetheless sought the New Party’s endorsement for his 1996 state senate run. He was successful in obtaining that endorsement, and he used a number of New Party volunteers as campaign workers.

In 1996, three of the four candidates endorsed by the New Party won their electoral primaries. The three victors included Barack Obama (in the 13th State Senate District), Danny Davis (in the 7th Congressional District), and Patricia Martin, who won the race for Judge in the 7th Subcircuit Court. All four candidates attended an April 11, 1996 New Party membership meeting to express their gratitude for the party’s support.

The New Party’s various chapters similarly helped to elect dozens of other political candidates in a host of American cities.

One of the more notable New Party members was Carl Davidson, a Chicago-based Marxist who became a political supporter of Barack Obama in the mid-1990s.

In 1997 the New Party’s influence declined precipitously after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that electoral fusion was not protected by the First Amendment’s freedom of association clause. By 1998 the party was essentially defunct. Daniel Canto and other key party members went on to establish a new organization with similar ideals, the Working Families Party of New York.

Flanders Fields examines Frederic Bastiat’s, The Law. Below is an excerpt that describes Obama and his ReProgressive acolytes to a ‘T’. Read it all at the link below. If you are foolishly considering a vote for Obama, you ought to at least acquaint yourself with the nature of the beast .

One of the causes of this perversion of the law, says Bastiat, is greed. To satisfy his needs, man must labor. But needs can also be met by resorting to plunder, i.e., appropriating the fruits of someone else’s labor. Socialism is nothing but generalized plunder, where groups who feel aggrieved enter the political process with the goal of using the law to steal from those they consider to be their oppressors.

I’ve written of Obama’s heinous Global Poverty Tax before. Barack Obama is a Marxist, a one-world whore, a poverty pimp on steroids,and he is ready to serve up America for the third world to slice and dice. You know, we often speak of the left’s fanaticism with redistributing wealth, but that is so misleading. They simply wish to redistribute poverty. They want America’s back broken and Obama and his pathetic “disenfranchised hoards” to feast on our corpse.

Obama and his ilk are vile beyond expressing. May the mortal wounds he wishes to deal this country rebound to him and his entire family one hundred fold. He has to be stopped, and I really don’t care how that is accomplished, but this little bastard has to be stopped.

Aurora at Midnight Sun offers the details. Details that the freaking legacy media won’t discuss and details that Obama will never be forced to explain in interviews.

”Those U.N. protocols would make U.S. law on issues ranging from the 2nd Amendment to energy usage and parental rights all subservient to United Nations whims.”

“[T]he legislation, if approved, dedicates 0.7 percent of the U.S. gross national product to foreign aid, which over 13 years… would amount to $845 billion ‘over and above what the U.S. already spends.’”

“The plan passed the House in 2007 ‘because most members didn’t realize what was in it.’ Congressional sponsors have been careful not to calculate the amount of foreign aid spending that it would require.”

And, how would the United States pay for this $845 BILLION commitment? According to Kincaid, who published a report on the legislation; “A global tax will clearly be necessary to force American taxpayers to provide the money.”

And that $845 BILLION global tax is in addition to our nation’s current Foreign Aid programs, which, in 2006, cost American taxpayers about $300 BILLION!

It Gets Worse!Here are some of the additional provisions of the Millennium Development Goal:

a “currency transfer tax,” that is, a tax imposed on companies and individuals who must exchange dollars for foreign currency;

a “tax on the rental value of land and natural resources”;

a “royalty on worldwide fossil energy projection — oil, natural gas, coal”;

“fees for the commercial use of the oceans, fees for airplane use of the skies, fees for use of the electromagnetic spectrum, fees on foreign exchange transactions, and a tax on the carbon content of fuels.”

a “standing peace force,” meaning a standing United Nations army that
might, in time, be large enough to force us to bend to its will;

a “UN arms register of all small arms and light weapons,” the beginning of
the end of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution;

the “eradication of poverty” by the “redistribution [of] wealth and land”
– How do you suppose the United Nations expects to “redistribute” the land and the wealth? And what country do you think the third-world majority will go after first?

cancellation of “the debts of developing countries,”

“a fair distribution of the earth’s resources.”

and “political control of the global economy.”

In other words, it’s a blueprint for a world government, owned and operated by the United Nations. One thing is clear: the Millennium Development Goal is a dagger aimed at the heart of America.

While the Global Poverty Act, as presently championed by its Senate supporters, embraces certain aspects of the Millennium Development Goal, one should wonder if some of our legislators also support land and wealth “redistribution.”<…>.(all bold mine)

Do you think we can get beyond the diversion of skin color to the real issues that ought to concern Americans when considering Barack Hussein Obama. Below is an excerpt from Cliff Kincaid’s well researched report inquiring into Obama’s Marxist mentors, communist ties and deep immersion in the of hatred of America.

…Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.”

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What’s more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.

Is “coalition politics” at work in Obama’s rise to power?

Trevor Loudon, the New Zealand-based blogger who has been analyzing the political forces behind Obama and specializes in studying the impact of Marxist and leftist political organizations, notes that Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator’s victory in the Iowa caucuses.

“Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle,” Chapman wrote. “Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary ‘mole,’ not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through.”

OBAMA’S SECRET SOCIALIST CONNECTIONS

Obama’s socialist backing goes back at least to 1996, when he received the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for an Illinois state senate seat. Later, the Chicago DSA newsletter reported that Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, one of the “champions” of “Chicago’s democratic left” and a long-time socialist activist. Obama’s stint as a “community organizer” in Chicago has gotten some attention, but his relationship with the DSA socialists, who groomed and backed him, has been generally ignored.

Blogger Steve Bartin, who has been following Obama’s career and involvement with the Chicago socialists, uncovered a fascinating video showing Obama campaigning for openly socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. Interestingly, Sanders, who won his seat in 2006, called Obama “one of the great leaders of the United States Senate,” even though Obama had only been in the body for about two years. In 2007, the National Journal said that Obama had established himself as “the most liberal Senator.” More liberal than Sanders? That is quite a feat. Does this make Obama a socialist, too?

DSA describes itself as the largest socialist organization in the United States and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International. The Socialist International (SI) has what is called “consultative status” with the United Nations. In other words, it works hand-in-glove with the world body.

The international con-nection is important and significant because an Obama bill, “The Global Poverty Act,” has recently been rushed through the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, with the assistance of Democratic Senator Joe Biden, the chairman, and Republican Senator Richard Lugar. The legislation (S.2433) commits the U.S. to spending hundreds of billions of dollars more in foreign aid on the rest of the world, in order to comply with the “Millennium Goals” established by the United Nations. Conservative members of the committee were largely caught off-guard by the move to pass the Obama bill but are putting a “hold” on it, in order to try to prevent the legislation, which also quickly passed the House, from being quickly brought up for a full Senate vote. But observers think that Senate Democrats may try to pass it quickly anyway, in order to give Obama a precious legislative “victory” that he could run on.(all emphasis mine)

Perhaps some of the change Obama will offer is a new theater of war. After all, the current conflict in Kenya features Obama’s cousin, Raila Odinga, a man currently accused of ethnic cleansing as his Luo tribesmen protest his election day loss. One can only hope that Obama’s American contingent of rabid fans are not quite as excitable as his cousin’s fans in Africa.

As they wave machetes with gleaming blades, rioters in Kenya’s sprawling slums say they have two things on their minds: protesting Kenya’s presidential election and Barack Obama.

The US presidential candidate — whose father is Kenyan — is a favourite son of the nation which erupted into violence after hotly-contested elections in December.

President Mwai Kibaki has claimed victory in the December 27 vote but opposition leader Raila Odinga said the polls were rigged while international observers have cited serious flaws.

About 1,000 people have since died in ethnic clashes, riots and looting.

The ethnic clashes have fueled Obama fever, with members of the Luo ethnic group rallying behind Obama, whose father was a Luo.

“Obama!” a group of Luo men shouted in unison, as they stood guard at a makeshift roadblock near the entrance of Kibera, Kenya’s biggest shantytown outside Nairobi.

“We are supporting him here. We want him to win the election,” said Mohammed Noor, 27. “Did you know that Obama’s father is also Luo?” he added.

Behind Noor, young men yelled: “Tell Obama we want guns!”

What role does Islam play? Reading so far suggests it isn’t the prime militating factor, but, it is definitely in the mix. There certainly are the tell tale signs indicating that the true believers are operative - like a church full of burning Christians - torched by Odinga’s Luo tribe.

A mob torched a church where hundreds had sought refuge Tuesday, and witnesses said dozens of people — including children — were burned alive or hacked to death with machetes in ethnic violence that followed Kenya’s disputed election.

Raila has now made a deal for support from the Soviets’ successors as world-champion enemies of the West and democratic freedoms: Muslim fundamentalists… The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya has posted on its website a photograph copy of a Memorandum of Understanding, dated and signed on August 29, 2007, between Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya…

It matters little whether individual Kenyans view this as a religious war, the purveyors of Jihad intend to swallow Kenya as well.

Islamic governments have targeted Kenya as a key element in the spread of Islam in Horn of Africa and ultimately the world. The Kenyan Diaspora including Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Hussein Obama has also played a part. The fall of Kenya into Islamist control would be devastating to anti-terrorist activities in the Horn of Africa, not to mention the potential for expansion of a caliphate. One has to ask, how fast will Kenya go Islamic and apply Shariah law?

The Clash of Ideologies in Africa: Kenya

There is no doubt Obama will have his hand in Africa…. “In his speech to well-wishers, Obama expressed a deep sense of solidarity with this small community and the Kenyan people…” … and it appears that Bush is paving the way for him.

I am not comfortable with a would-be president whose brother is a Muslim, whose cousin, if not Islamic, shares Obama’s populist/socialist ideology. I’d like him to declare unequivocally his denunciation of sharia law. Fat chance.

But when you consider the ideological similarities between the totalism in socialism and Islam, you can see where, like in England, sharia law easily insinuates itself through the rot multiculturalism has bred.

And that is one of many, many reasons for me to work furiously to see that Obama never steps a foot into the White House - except when McCain has some chores for him to do.
