Australia to implement mandatory internet censorship

AUSTRALIA will join China in implementing mandatory censoring of the internet under plans put forward by the Federal Government.

The revelations emerge as US tech giants Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, and a coalition of human rights and other groups unveiled a code of conduct aimed at safeguarding online freedom of speech and privacy.

The government has declared it will not let internet users opt out of the proposed national internet filter.

The plan was first created as a way to combat child pornography and adult content, but could be extended to include controversial websites on euthanasia or anorexia.

Communications minister Stephen Conroy revealed the mandatory censorship to the Senate estimates committee as the Global Network Initiative, bringing together leading companies, human rights organisations, academics and investors, committed the technology firms to “protect the freedom of expression and privacy rights of their users”.

Mr Conroy said trials were yet to be carried out, but “we are talking about mandatory blocking, where possible, of illegal material.”

The net nanny proposal was originally going to allow Australians who wanted uncensored access to the web the option of contacting their internet service provider to be excluded from the service.

Human Rights Watch has condemned internet censorship, and argued to the US Senate “there is a real danger of a Virtual Curtain dividing the internet, much as the Iron Curtain did during the Cold War, because some governments fear the potential of the internet, (and) want to control it”

I scheduled a show with Attorney Phil Berg who has filed a lawsuit against Barack Obama for not being a US Citizen therefore he is an illegal alien.

My show was terminated at the beginning of the show. Why? The BTR assistant Director of Customer Relations, Shannon Dingee-Kramer stated that my show was, “racially or ethnically offensive, defamatory, unreasonably violent, threatening, intimidating or harassing; 2. contains falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage BlogTalkRadio or any other person; (BTR red emphasis–not mine!)

In other words, those who claim to be for free speech are afraid of it when they see it, or hear it in this case! It might offend someone and that’s far more important to protect than the American Principle of exercising the flow of speech in the arena of public ideas.

So I am officially off the air until further notice thanks to the Obamunists and Islamists who support him!

Do you realize how insidious this is? Phil Berg, David Freddoso, Stanley Kurtz, everyday citizens – any and all who dare to criticize or question the messiah Obama is either threatened or censored, or shut down. That March, House Speaker Newt Gingrich was scheduled to address a meeting of county commissioners at the Washington Hilton. But, first, some 500 protesters from the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) poured into the ballroom from both the kitchen and the main entrance.

Hotel staffers who tried to block them were quickly overwhelmed by demonstrators chanting, “Nuke Newt!” and “We want Newt!” Jamming the aisles, carrying bullhorns and taunting the assembled county commissioners, demonstrators swiftly took over the head table and commandeered the microphone, sending two members of Congress scurrying.

The demonstrators’ target, Gingrich, hadn’t yet arrived – and his speech was cancelled. When the cancellation was announced, ACORN’s foot soldiers cheered.

Attorney Phil Berg is, of course, the person who has filed a lawsuit against Obama for the illegality of his grasp for POTUS due to his citizenship status and the coverup of same. This could and should have CLOSED OBAMA DOWN…but instead the CORRUPT POLITICAL ORDER that has replaced a once sane, legal way of life is shutting down the TRUTH. What a farce!

Coercion and intimidation come in many forms and Obama is delivering a bunch of both to Union workers.

The “Death of American Business Act”

n a less remarkable time, an issue which might be leading the discussion and which more voters should be paying attention to today, is the Employee Free Choice Act (“EFCA, H.R.800), sponsored by the union’s best friend in the House of Representatives, George Miller (D-CA), whose donor list is a who’s-who of “International Brotherhoods”, “Associations of Workers”, and “Political Leagues”.

The EFCA, also called “Card Check”, allows unions to force a workplace to be unionized by public signing of voting cards by workers, complete with the pressure or overt threats which one might expect union organizers to bring against hesitant workers.

A secret ballot is an absolutely fundamental principle in America’s labor system. Under EFCA, that goes away, at great peril to businesses and their employees alike.

The Heritage Foundation calculates that EFCA “would disenfranchise 105 million workers.”

ACORN Whistleblowers Expose More Fraud

Nothing like getting the information straight from the horses mouth. According to Newsmax, four former employees of ACORN and of ACORN Housing Corp. have supplied sworn affidavits to the Consumer Rights League that provide eyewitness accounts of how the two organizations have commingled funds and resources, in apparent violation of federal law. By commingling the funds it is not only using government funds to push its liberal political agenda, but also it provided a smoke screen for some ACORN leaders to line their own pockets with your tax dollars.

# AHC employees were instructed to hide documents from federal auditors with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, HUD.

# AHC employees were instructed on “steering” loans to partner banks, including Chase (for loans in the New Orleans area) and Bank of America for other areas around the country.

# AHC National Field Director Lee Trujillo stated in the presence of several of these witnesses that “AHC and ACORN would be funded out of the same account.”

# AHC and ACORN have also shared “voter initiative money.”

# Internal AHC emails and other documents “clearly show that AHC is paying for lease space occupied by ACORN.”

Free Speech, Islam, Barack Obama

At one point, YouTube pulled this video, much the same as they tend to pull down anti-Obama videos. We can expect more protection for islamofascists if Barack Obama ever takes office. Like his muslim buddies, Obama has, thus far, proven himself to be very unfriendly towards free speech when such speech is critical of him. Fortunately, there was sufficient outcry to restore Condell’s video. Unfortunately, a successful outcome in such battles depends on the free dissemination of knowledge. Obama will hinder that process considerably.

Apparently YouTube, who has had some challenges with Turkey and Pakistan, have decided that it is easier to block ‘problematic’ content themselves than standing up for freedom and have Pakistani Internet operators wreck havoc on them.

We are still waiting for the day when big media realizes they have a responsibility to stand up for freedom of expression.

In his latest video, Pat Condell sure manages to step on some toes in this latest video. But that is well deserved, for what happens is serious and what he has to say is important. : (Source)

Though I appreciate Condell’s excellent work against Islam, I find it sad and ironic that he, as an atheist, also disparages Christianity, the only religion boasting a God who respects individual free will. In the end, it will be Christians defending Condell’s rights to preach against Islam, even as he attacks their own faith.

Obama’s desperate attempts to silence his critics and detractors reminded me of Achmed the Terrorist. If only Obama were so endearing. And no, Obama didn’t threaten to kill anyone, but I bet he’d like to.

Members of Barack Obama’s campaign HQ in Chicago tried to shut down a local radio show on the City’s most powerful radio signal, WGN 720, because they didn’t like a conservative guest that was on going on the air to discuss Senator Barack Obama’s ties to local terrorist William Ayers. This is a shocking attempt at stifling political free speech and a bald attempt to quash debate by the office of the Democratic Party’s nominee. The convention of Mad Marxists proceeds apace and the reknown photographer Zombie is keeping multiple audiences abreast of all of the antics of all the little beasties gathered in Denver. Michelle Obama, I hear, gave a dull and treacly speech, so one imagines that they must have her on a tight leash.

Equally noxious Kennedy idolatry ran rampant while outside the convention walls, on streets braided tightly with police, Michelle Malkin was accosted by frothing-at-the-mouth moonbat Alex Jones, who was screaming, among other absurdities, “Kill Michelle Malkin”. Perhaps he can apply for a job leading Obama’s future Brown Shirts, a role he seems most eminently qualified for.

Perhaps this Alex Jones is a harbinger of what we can expect to be given license from an Obama administration. Barack Obama has clearly signaled that he is not, nor will he be, a friend of free speech.

His “Most Precious” is stamping his feet and demanding the curtailment of the now familiar Ayers ad that suggests that America best give heed to warnings about Obama’s Marxist political roots and ideology.

I’d say Obama is a bit panicked, wouldn’t you? What’cha hiding Barry sweetie?

The Obama campaign is giving a glimpse of the future for conservative free speech. They’re trying to sic the Justice Department on TV stations, many of them Sinclair Broadcasting stations, that are airing the independent ad on Obama and Bill Ayers.

The “progressives” have long had a problem with speech that displeases them. Recall also a similar stunt by the Clintons over the release of the movie “Path to 911″ . In looking for a link to reference that , I run into a more recent account and I was surprised to learn that the 40 million dollar production was never released as a DVD. Now there is a new documentary out that gives insight into the mechanics of the censorship involved.

Remember the controversy over the ABC miniseries “The Path to 9/11″? For some mysterious reason, it has yet to appear on DVD. Why might that be? Now the story is told in a documentary by John Ziegler that is to be screened tonight at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Times reports:

["Blocking The Path to 9/11"] makes the case that former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton have pressured television and studio executives into quashing the DVD release of ABC’s 2006 miniseries “The Path to 9/11.” The privately financed documentary argues that the Clintons, who decried the original miniseries as a right-wing hatchet job, are out to salvage their political influence and legacy at the expense of free expression.

We are informed by Andrew Breitbart that John Ziegler “is a really good guy” who understands the power of media bias. Andrew comments:

Countless movies are being made to affect the culture, the election. One was made that tried to play it straight, and because the Clintons pulled a stunt claiming it was a GOP hit job (what if it was?!), the producers were left holding the bag. A movie that was seen by tens of millions, cost $40 million to make and was stunningly photographed and entertaining, cannot make its way to the public via DVD. It’s pathetic and should outrage everyone.

Saudi and Progressive Thought Police Hold Much in Common

As most who have studied Islam can attest to, Islamists and “progressives” hold much in common, including the love of censorship. Seems like “Arab information ministers” ( I wonder who will hold that title in the coming socialist administration in the US) are no more fond of Saudi talk radio shows than their “Progressive” counterparts in America.

Talk shows on Arab satellite television stations have been a forum for rollicking criticisms of Arab regimes and sharp discussions of taboo topics – especially live shows where listeners can call in with uncensorable opinions. But governments are now trying to rein them in. This week, Arab information ministers adopted a “Charter of Principles” seeking to regulate satellite broadcasts, raising fears among media circles of a concerted move to muzzle stations. “Some satellite channels have deviated from the right path,” Egyptian Information Minister Anas el-Fiqi told the ministers gathering in Cairo on Tuesday. “There are violations that have taken place, violations taking place around the clock, which require a serious stance.” The charter prohibits criticism of Arab leaders and religious figures and warns in vague terms of harming social peace, national unity, and public morals, demanding “adherence to objectivity, sincerity and respect to the dignity of the countries, nations and their national sovereignty.”

Don’t make the mistake of feeling comfortably safe from such Orwellian tactics in America. The Reprogressive and their good islamist friends are just as determined to strangle your free speech. Have you ever written a particularly vituperative email? I have. Not threatening, just angry. Well, so did former diplomat Patrick Syring and he now faces one year in jail for doing so. Think about it. An e-mail. Not a threatening email, but one expressing the contempt and rage that most sane Americans feel towards islamists.

If Zogby were a decent person, he would go after the Arab terrorists. Instead, he goes after patriotic Americans who use words to denounce those trying to make America fertile ground for Arab terror.

In the case below, the AAI successfully put an American in prison for one year for sending a vituperative email. What’s America coming to?

I fail to find that offensive, sorry. Fail to see a threat. Any anti-jihadist blogger can show you far more incendiary emails as well as direct, specific threats. For that matter, based on this, they ought to round up 99% of all the imans spewing hate behind their protected mosques.

Me? I have no doubt that a good many islamists would wish me dead. And I understand completely. The sentiments are mutual. The only time the government has any business sticking their nose into it is when words become actions. Failing that, Arabs and Islamists need to grow a pair. Not a likely event.

Blacks, Jews, Palestinians and Barack Obama

I am reposting in full a piece written by Kola Boof. The link was given in a comment to my post, Barack Obama Needs to Suggest to the Arabs that They Pony Up With Their Reparations.

I am not familiar with Miss Boof’s work or her political views, but I do think she is sadly mistaken in her support for Obama. However, she speaks eloquently of her love for Israel, and such sentiments are always welcome on this blog.

More to the point, she exhibits courage that is sadly lacking amongst Western journalists. She speaks the truth about Islam and Israel and thus has earned herself a fatwa condemning her to death by beheading. She finds sanctuary now in America.

Which leads me to mention this, though not directly pertaining to the topic of this post, it is critical for Americans to come to grips with the noose tightening around our throats. At The Midnight Sun a very important discussion is going on about the severe threat that freedom of speech is under in Canada and throughout the West. If we in the West do not rise up to save such a fundamental freedom, Miss Boof will no longer find sanctuary in America either. None of us will.
So read the words of one who faces death for saying them. If Americans do not wake up, we will all soon face the same.

Obama’s Support of Israel and Not Palestine

You constantly hear the “African Americans” despair over Obama’s support of
Israel and not Palestine–but that’s because the Black Americans (who are only
400 years old, which is a “baby”) do not have the FACTS.

As a Black Person from North Africa…I also support Israel over Palestine.

The Israelis don’t purchase Black African slaves as the Palestinians do and the
Israelis don’t sterilize black women so as to use them as sex slaves.

Dinka girl children are purchased from Sudan for $14 a piece and you can find them
in Arab territorities like Palestine, Syria and Jordan with their tongues cut out
and working in Arab kitchens.

I have lived in Israel, and other than the troops in the street, it was very much like
living in the United States.

If I had to find a husband–I could get one in Israel, but not in Palestine.

The White Israeli man is less colorstruck than the Brown-skinned Palestinian man.

The Palestinians, who used to be “black”, have a notorious fear of producing black
babies and returning to their former dark coloring. That’s why they prefer to
sterilize black little girls before using them as sex slaves.

The Israelis also don’t have a word like “abeed” that denigrates the black race,
a word that all Arabs (including the Palestinians) use on a daily basis.

Israel is a White, Racist nation…in the same way that the United States is a White,
Racist nation. It’s definitely no worse than here.

But Palestine and the Arab world is much worse.

No black woman who has been free would ever want to live in the Arab nations
unless she was a “mulatto” Black American—because then, she would not be
considered “black” by the Arabs and could enjoy taking part in their colorist
racism.

Of course, Black Americans are notoriously IGNORANT about what the Arab world
USES THEM for in relation to leverage in American Politics and have not actually
attempted to live in these colorstruck racist fanatical Arab Muslim countries that they so romanticize.

The only time I’ve ever heard Palestinians and Arabs talk their “brown brother” b.s.
is over here in the United States where they have a political agenda that requires
the support of Black Americans.

But go to North Africa and see what they’re talking.

And of course Black American MEN have a particular fondness for Muslim countries,
because of the chronic “sexism” that less powerful men have always craved in their
struggle to feel more like men.

In my opinion, being covered up from head to toe and being told that “woman is impure”
is nothing more than enslavement of the soul. Women’s bodies are not dirty and the
woman’s menstrual cycle is the symbol of humanity itself, so it’s an abomination against
God for women to be covered up and marginalized in this way.

And, as far as I’m concerned, both Christianity and Islam are the two worse things that
ever happened to the African continent.

Naturally, my comments on this issue have caused me to be demonized, lied on and
discredited by all manner of Oil Company, Black American Pro-Palestine speaker and
Arab-American millionaire businessmen who pay the media to silence those of us from
North Africa who dare expose “brown brothers” of the Arab Empire for what they really
are–but yet and still, I am the more powerful one.

As an African mother, I will always support powerful white Israel before oppressed
brown Palestine.

As one of my poems says: “the slave is the devil, too.”

And because Palestine knows so well about the evils of oppression, it is all the more
shocking and unacceptable that they consider Black Africans to be mere “animals”
and “abeed” unworthy of full human recognition–yet expect me to march in the streets
for their greasy rat faced asses just because they raped a black woman and waved
their fists in their air.

No. What I want as National Chairwoman of the SSPP is guns and ammunition from
Israel.

That is what South Sudan needs.

The lesser devil can be used by Blacks in Sudan as we struggle to fight back
against the Imperialist Arab Empire.

It’s one of the reasons I love and support Barack Obama—because he’s for Israel.

Shocker: Art exhibit of “The Assassination Of Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton”

The New York Times reports that the New York City Police Department and Secret Service shut down an exhibition yesterday entitled, “The Assassination of Hillary Clinton/The Assassination of Barack Obama.”We must forewarn you that these graphic images of Obama includes such things as, nooses painted along the gallery walls, an image of a monstrously enlarged, erect black penis stretching along several walls within the space. There is also a photo of Barack’s young daughters, with the overhead caption reading “nappy-headed hoes,” the artist also features a painting of RFK looming behind Obama, with captions on the opposing walls stating, “Just Passing” and “Passed.”

I must say, this is truly bizarre. One would expect a denizen of the art world to adore Obama. As much as I abhor the thought of an Obama presidency, this crosses a few lines.

Boston-born performance artist, Yazmany Arboleda, however, maintains that he is depicting the media assassination of both Obama and Hillary, (who also has a gallery of considerably less vicious images.)

“It’s art. It’s not supposed to be harmful. It’s about character assassination — about how Obama and Hillary have been portrayed by the media.” He added, “It’s about the media.”

Though I fail to see how the hell the media is doing anything but bowing down before Obama. This is, however, censorship.

By 9:30 a.m., New York City police detectives and Secret Service agents had shut down the exhibition, and building workers had quickly covered over the inflammatory title with large sheets of brown paper and blue masking tape. Muslims Silencing the World by the West’s Consent

Seppo Lehto, seen in the first video here, has been described as a “notorious hatemonger”, racist and other epithets. I do not really care. Maybe he is, maybe he isn’t. In a saner time, those who made themselves unappealing to society at large were shunned, perhaps mocked, and finally, ignored. As long as no physical or financial harm came to anyone, the freedom to express hatred, or scorn, or mockery has always been protected.

The whole issue of what offends and what does not, should be dismissed out of hand, with anti-religious and anti-free speech laws being stricken from the books. The realm of where things should be decided is in the public sector, with racist idiots like Seppo Lehto being confined to the ash heap in peoples minds, not being incarcerated in a cell for two years.

Most of what can be said of Seppo Lehto’s numerous websites, is that they are for the most part,..parodies, nothing that anyone could be close to believing that they were true. lehto’s actions have been widely known for few years, and posed no danger to society, due to his being written off as a crank. In other words, not to be taken seriously.

See, Lehto is going to go to jail for expressing his views and he is one of a growing number world wide who are loosing their freedoms because muslims are offended, and, I might add, because PC-multiculturalism has castrated the West.

The Marine, part of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), was exchanging gunfire with Taliban fighters near Garmser in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province when a Reuters photographer capturedthe soldier’s very close call.

A series of six photos show the Marine, wearing a T-shirt and fatigues but no combat helmet, ducking as insurgent gunfire tears through the top of a mud wall he’s using for cover. Remarkably, the Marine escaped the gunfight without injury. “The insurgents are finding that every time they engage with the Marines, they lose,” Col. Peter Petronzio, commander of the 24th MEU, said in a statement issued May 10.

What ever happened to black pride? They seem to have been, for the most part – at least the most vocal part – reduced to being simply beggars, bullies, and, little nazis. Such as affirmative action officer – whatever the hell that is – Lillian Charleston, a poster child for the mediocrity her job title has foisted off on this country.

It seems little Miss Lillian is still hiding under her bed from the KKK.

The book was Todd Tucker’s ‘Notre Dame vs. the Klan: How the Fighting Irish Defeated the Ku Klux Klan’; I was reading it on break from my campus job as a janitor. The same book is in the university library . . . .
But that didn’t stop the Affirmative Action Office of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis from branding me as a detestable Klansman.

They didn’t want to hear the truth. The office ruled that my ‘repeatedly reading the book . . . constitutes racial harassment in that you demonstrated disdain and insensitivity to your co-workers.’

And when the hell did it become a crime to express contempt, disdain or any other emotional response. This is the height of anal-retentive inanity. Colleges need to introduce the concept of growing a spine, but then, that would serve to defeat the agenda.

Upon review of this matter, we conclude that your conduct constitutes racial harassment in that you demonstrated disdain and insensitivity to your co-workers who repeatedly requested that you refrain from reading the book which has such an inflammatory and offensive topic in their presence. You contend that you werent aware of the offensive nature of the topic and were reading the book about the KKK to better understand discrimination. However you used extremely poor judgment by insisting on openly reading the book related to a historically and racially abhorrent subject in the presence of your Black co-workers. Furthermore, employing the legal “reasonable person standard,” a majority of adults are aware of and understand how repugnant the KKK is to African Americans, their reactions to the Klan, and the reasonableness of the request that you not read the book in their presence.

During your meeting with Marguerite Watkins, Assistant Affirmative Action Officer [sic] you were instructed to stop reading the book in the immediate presence of your co-workers and when reading the book to sit apart from the immediate proximity of these co-workers. Turkey: President Gül expressed concern about the proposal to revise Article 301, as he worries the presidential palace will be obliged to carry out duties of an ‘additional judicial court’.The government’s proposal to revise Article 301 of the penal code that would bestow authority to launch proceedings under the controversial article to the president has stirred up tension in the presidential palace.

The proposal requires presidential approval for prosecution under Article 301 that penalizes denigrating Turkish identity or insulting the country’s institutions, as well as Article 305 that penalizes insults against national interests, after the indictment to be prepared by the chief public prosecutor.

President Abdullah Gül has expressed concern about the proposal, saying he is worried that the presidential palace will be obliged to carry out duties of an additional judicial court, daily Radikal said yesterday.

Justice Minister Mehmet Ali Şahin, however, denied reports in an interview with the private Kanal 24. “The president did not oppose the proposal when he was informed of the draft amendment,” he said yesterday. (…)

At no time in North American history have ordinary citizens had as much political power as they do today. Words written by the stay-at-home mom, the computer nerd or the diesel mechanic are being thrust under the noses of politicians and pundits who have previously been able to whitewash the opinions of those who had no public platform. Christians and social conservatives have been learning to use the technology very effectively, as was demonstrated when they won CBC’s “Great Canadian wish contest” last year with “abolish abortion”.
The conservative internet, however, is under attack. The Canadian Human Rights Commission has already been used on many occasions to shut down websites and to place lifetime speech bans on webmasters who have been hauled before its tribunals.
The human rights commission attacks on Ezra Levant and Mark Steyn have made a lot of people aware of the danger of allowing these government bodies to regulate the speech of Canadians, and the internet has been abuzz with stories of bureaucratic abuse. So, did frightened little Timmy get a warm and fluffy blanket to protect him from that damn chill? Because, given the lack of commentary, he and his ilk seem not in the least bit chilled by any of the free speech battles being fought across the globe since his impassioned pleas to safeguard the same.

I’m not even going to get into the slaughter of Theo Van Gogh, muslims rioting and killing over cartoons, Hirsi Ali, Wafa Sultan, Geert Wilders and the countless others who live with very real, religiously sanctioned, publicly proclaimed death threats over their heads.

We’ll keep it simple for now and just just go North of the border to Canada.

Richard Warman, the man who has been the plaintiff in half of the section 13 “hate-speech” cases brought before the Canadian Human Rights Commissions (CHRC), has now launched a sweeping lawsuit against some of the most prominent conservative publications, journalists and bloggers in Canada. Warman is suing for libel, alleging in particular that the defendants falsely accused him of posting a racist screed on the white supremacist website Freedom Site.

We all know assaults on speech are going to continue to accelerate. The intent of Progressives socialists in America to stomp out talk radio and strangle the internet are not at all new. Those efforts, in conjunction with those of their muslim allies , make it an imperative to organize one hell of a united front and considerable cash.

We have had warning shot after warning shot fired across our bow, especially in view of all of the aggressive measures to silence speech in Europe, and even yet, we have no real rapid response apparatus in place; no Soros, no Open Society, no Heinz, no media. But their media and propaganda models are there for all to dissect and replicate.

This latest flurry of suits in Canada have the potential to bring more to the fight, resulting in new alliances.They ought not be temporary, but seeded and nurtured to grow a cohesive coordinated body. It would seem that all of these disparate groups and individuals could be organized and deployed more effectively, thwarting the passage of more”hate” legislation, dismantling existing laws on the books and going face to face with these Orwellian apparatchiks and using every tactic cunning and honor will allow.

If speech is lost, the road ahead will be far more harrowing and arduous than can be imagined, but then, Huxley and Orwell already have.

The Austrian authorities have indicted politician Susanne Winter on charges of incitement and degradation of religious symbols and religious agitation. This offence carries a maximum sentence of two years. Last January, Ms Winter said that the prophet Muhammad was “a child molester” because he had married a six-year-old girl. She also said he was “a warlord” who had written the Koran during “epileptic fits.”

The politician, a member of the Austrian Freedom Party FPÖ, an anti-immigration party which is in opposition, added that Islam is “a totalitarian system of domination that should be cast back to its birthplace on the other side of the Mediterranean.” She also warned for “a Muslim immigration tsunami,” saying that “in 20 or 30 years, half the population of Austria will be Muslim” if the present immigration policies continue.

Following her remarks, Muslim extremists threatened to kill Susanne Winter and she was placed under police protection. Today, the Justice Department in Vienna announced that Ms Winter will be charged with “incitement and degradation of religious symbols” … If convicted she may have to serve up to two years in jail for her opinions.

However, Alfred Hrdlicka, the Austrian “artist” who depicted Jesus and his apostles engaging in homosexual acts of sodomy during the Last Supper, has not been indicted. Nor will he be. Depicting Jesus sodomizing his apostles is not considered to be a “degradation of religious symbols” in Austria, but referring to the historic fact that Muhammad married a six-year old girl is “incitement to racial hatred.”

Asking for help from the White House might be a problem since Codoleezza Rice seems far too busy whoring for her Muslim masters. There’s an effort afoot that would jeopardize your right to express your views on public airways. Some members of Congress want to reinstate a regulation that was repealed 20 years ago. It has the Orwellian name called the Fairness Doctrine.

Supporters of this regulation say we need to mandate that any discussion of so-called controversial issues on the public airwaves includes equal time for all sides. This means that many programs wanting to stay on the air would have to meet Washington’s definition of balance. Of course, for some in Washington, the only opinions that require balancing are the ones they don’t like. (Laughter and applause.)

We know who these advocates of so-called balance really have in their sights: shows hosted by people like Rush Limbaugh or James Dobson, or many of you here today. By insisting on so-called balance, they want to silence those they don’t agree with.

The truth of the matter is, they know they cannot prevail in the public debate of ideas. They don’t acknowledge that you are the balance; that you give voice — (applause.) The country should not be afraid of the diversity of opinions. After all, we’re strengthened by diversity of opinions…..
