“I’m going to take on the forces…once Barack is safely ashore,” he said, indicating that he would wait until Obama is in the White House before he makes public comments.

“I’m not gone. Let them use me to hurt my brother. I love that man,” Farrakhan said.

And what the hell does that say about Obama? Jim Fennell over at My Country Tis of Thee calls it the Law of Political Attraction.

Fundamental understanding for the law of political attraction: Simply put, the nature of a politician will attract people/groups/causes to him/her based upon the nature of the politician’s composition, or political philosophy. Thus a politician will attract those persons/groups that line-up with the real (not surface) properties of that politician.

If this is true, then does it NOT make sense that Obama (the magnet) draws the following groups to himself?

In almost every country he seeks to subvert, he implements a type of multi-prong agenda which includes, “gender” rights, homosexual “rights”, some version of women’s “rights”, drug legalization, abortion “rights”, gun control along with deluging the subject population with all kinds of “educational” programs. I am glad to see that others recognize his similar approach in America.

The ongoing 2008 Presidential election represents Soros’ importation of the techniques he has utilized for popular subversion in foreign lands to the U.S. political process. MoveOn.org, an organization hugely funded by George Soros, played a central role in Barack Obama’s capture of the Democratic nomination, despite Hillary Clinton’s clear superiority in the popular vote. Although positioned as a pro-Obama instrument long before, as of February of 2008, MoveOn officially backed Obama’s campaign, sending him an army of “volunteers” and an established money machine and fundraising base. As Lyndon LaRouche has repeatedly warned, Obama himself is a throwaway in the financial oligarchy’s plan to capture the Presidency of the United States under conditions of economic collapse. The $335 million project has already raised funds in excess of $258 million. From where? Such liberal dignitaries as George Soros ($12 million), the Leon Levy Foundation ($5 million), and Obama backers Quinn Delaney and Wayne Jordan ($4 million).

So what does this mean for West Virginia? As the announcement from the ACLU notes: “smaller affiliates located mainly in the South and in the country’s heartland [editor's note: this would include West Virginia] will be bolstered by increased resources that will enable them to hire full-time attorneys, launch new advocacy programs, and expand communications and public education initiatives.”

One would guess that in the coming months and years, West Virginians will be blessed with the leftist agenda for which the ACLU has become renowned. Such as:

….championing marriage equality in California and gay rights in Tennessee, . . . fighting the introduction of “intelligent design” curricula in Pennsylvania, . . . overturning abortion bans in Mississippi . . ..

Most every Hollywood portrayal of the “good old boys” is demeaning, rendering these folks as unshaven, tobacco spitting, beer guzzling ignoramuses. I hope that imagery come back to bite these damnable Reprogressives in the ass. In fact, I hope a few of them experience what the characters in Deliverance experienced, though, no doubt, there are some in this leftist incursion who would enjoy it. No, what Soros Obama and Co plan to deliver to rural Americans is a violation far more evil than anything depicted in Deliverance. It is spiritual rape, it is a violation of the heartland that will reverberate for decades should they succeed.

I have no love for John McCain, no wish to sing his praises. But I can’t deny that Barack Obama seems an insignificant clown next to him. A dangerous, mad clown. Barack Obama may have finally mustered up the interest and guts to face American troops in Iraq, but he has not yet faced John McCain in debate, nor has he had the wherewithal to stand true to any of his positions, as reprehensible as most of those are.
Obama’ story reads like an Oprah book of the month. Had he not been propped up as a politician, he , like his books, would be fodder for the discount bins. How many conflicted young men on a tortured journey in search for their identity can anyone stomach anymore anyway. And who the hell elects one into the highest office in the land?

Thomas Sowell has sobering and wise advice regarding the choices that face America in this election. We’d do well to heed his words.

Not since 1972 have we been presented with two such painfully inadequate candidates. When election day came that year, I could not bring myself to vote for either George McGovern or Richard Nixon. I stayed home.

This year, none of us has that luxury. While all sorts of gushing is going on in the media, and posturing is going on in politics, the biggest national sponsor of terrorism in the world— Iran— is moving step by step toward building a nuclear bomb.

The point when they get that bomb will be the point of no return. Iran’s nuclear bomb will be the terrorists’ nuclear bomb— and they can make 9/11 look like child’s play.

All the options that are on the table right now will be swept off the table forever. Our choices will be to give in to whatever the terrorists demand— however outrageous those demands might be— or to risk seeing American cities start disappearing in radioactive mushroom clouds.

All the things we are preoccupied with today, from the price of gasoline to health care to global warming, will suddenly no longer matter.

The ad begins with the announcer telling us that Obama “worked his way through college and Harvard Law.” Actually, Obama took out loans to get himself through college, as we heard in a 60-second ad his campaign began running last month. We don’t know how much assistance his family provided.

But “worked his way” through college and law school? The only back-up the campaign provided for this claim was a quote from Obama’s book “Dreams from My Father” having to do with a construction job he had one summer while he was in college, and an article mentioning his job as a summer associate one year at a big Chicago law firm. We asked campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor if Obama held jobs during the school year, or other summer jobs, but he said only, “He had the two jobs I told you about.” Unless Obama had a good bit more employment than his spokesman was able to describe for us, it’s a real stretch to claim he “worked his way” through school.

The ad claims Obama “passed a law to move people from welfare to work, slashed the rolls by 80 percent.” That’s going too far. First, the law in question wasn’t dreamed up out of thin air by its sponsors. It was the follow-up to the welfare reform act, the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act, that President Clinton signed on Aug. 26, 1996. That law gave states the ability to design their own welfare programs as long as they met certain federal requirements, including limits on how long recipients could get benefits. The bill that Obama cosponsored was Illinois’ version.

And far from having “passed” the bill single-handedly, Obama was among five Senate sponsors of the measure, as we said previously. It was passed by both chambers of the Illinois Legislature and signed into law by the governor.

The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) is legislation Obama has co-sponsored along with 18 other senators that would annihilate every single state law limiting or regulating abortion, including the federal ban on partial birth abortion.

The 2007 version of FOCA proposed: “It is the policy of the United States that every woman has the invented fundamental right to choose to bear a child, to murder terminate a pregnancy prior to the infant’s fetal viability, or to slaughter and dismember terminate a living human being pregnancy after the infant is breathing and can live outside the womb fetal viability when the whore who couldn’t keep her legs closed decides a baby inconvenient necessary to protect the life or health of the woman.” (source)
