If you would like to see what the citizens of America may eventually look and act like should either socialist candidate win the presidency, just read this article about life in Great Britain.

This is what the policies of an Obama or Hillary will breed; stunted human beings who exist to fornicate, eat, excrete and consume. All on someone else’s dime, with nary an iota of shame.

Is this the “change” Obama-maniacs “hope” for?

Known as the “Shameless” family among horrified neighbours, the McFaddens “boast” three generations of adults who are not working.

All ten members of the clan share a council house and live off benefits amounting to around £32,000 a year. And very happy they are, too.

But the really disturbing aspect of the McFaddens’ lifestyle is that they are far from alone. Six million Britons are living in homes where no one has a job and “benefits are a way of life”, according to a report by MPs. Shock figures also revealed that 20,000 households in Britain are pocketing more than £30,000 a year in state benefits.

With thousands of children growing up in families where their parents and grandparents have never worked, a senior government adviser warned this week of a “terrible legacy” of youngsters who had no expectation of ever getting a job.

“We get about £2,700 a month in benefits, from income support to disability allowance, and child benefit for the kids. Kyle is at college and he gets the Education Maintenance Allowance of £30 a week, and we get Housing Benefit, too. Our rent is £40 a week, so our benefits don’t go far.”

Jean Thompson, 66, hasn’t worked for over 40 years. She lives in Neath, Swansea, with husband Glyn, 61, a retired plumber. They have three grown-up children, two of whom live on benefits, including son Steven Martin, 39.

Jean says: “My own dad worked down the pit, but my mum didn’t work, so I suppose I wanted the same life that she had when I grew up. I just wanted to be at home and live off other people.

“I left school at 15 with no qualifications and worked in a sewing factory for a short while then gave it up and went on the dole instead. Even when my kids were older, I didn’t go back to work because I didn’t want to. I never get bored. I just sew, knit and clean.

“I don’t worry about the example I set to my kids or the fact that two of them don’t work. It’s up to them

what they do, it’s their life, not mine, so it’s not my problem. I don’t think my desire never to work and to live off the state and my husband rubbed off on Steven. He makes his own decisions.

“I’m certainly not angry that Steven doesn’t have a job. He’s got children, that’s his job. And I don’t worry that he’s setting a bad example to his children – that’s up to him.”

…Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.”

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What’s more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.

Is “coalition politics” at work in Obama’s rise to power?

Trevor Loudon, the New Zealand-based blogger who has been analyzing the political forces behind Obama and specializes in studying the impact of Marxist and leftist political organizations, notes that Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator’s victory in the Iowa caucuses.

“Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle,” Chapman wrote. “Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary ‘mole,’ not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through.”

OBAMA’S SECRET SOCIALIST CONNECTIONS

Obama’s socialist backing goes back at least to 1996, when he received the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for an Illinois state senate seat. Later, the Chicago DSA newsletter reported that Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, one of the “champions” of “Chicago’s democratic left” and a long-time socialist activist. Obama’s stint as a “community organizer” in Chicago has gotten some attention, but his relationship with the DSA socialists, who groomed and backed him, has been generally ignored.

Blogger Steve Bartin, who has been following Obama’s career and involvement with the Chicago socialists, uncovered a fascinating video showing Obama campaigning for openly socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. Interestingly, Sanders, who won his seat in 2006, called Obama “one of the great leaders of the United States Senate,” even though Obama had only been in the body for about two years. In 2007, the National Journal said that Obama had established himself as “the most liberal Senator.” More liberal than Sanders? That is quite a feat. Does this make Obama a socialist, too?

DSA describes itself as the largest socialist organization in the United States and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International. The Socialist International (SI) has what is called “consultative status” with the United Nations. In other words, it works hand-in-glove with the world body.

The international con-nection is important and significant because an Obama bill, “The Global Poverty Act,” has recently been rushed through the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, with the assistance of Democratic Senator Joe Biden, the chairman, and Republican Senator Richard Lugar. The legislation (S.2433) commits the U.S. to spending hundreds of billions of dollars more in foreign aid on the rest of the world, in order to comply with the “Millennium Goals” established by the United Nations. Conservative members of the committee were largely caught off-guard by the move to pass the Obama bill but are putting a “hold” on it, in order to try to prevent the legislation, which also quickly passed the House, from being quickly brought up for a full Senate vote. But observers think that Senate Democrats may try to pass it quickly anyway, in order to give Obama a precious legislative “victory” that he could run on.(all emphasis mine)

Another Side of Obama’s So Called Christian Faith

Below you will find a copy of a PDF listing the many ways that Barack Obama ” supports the LGBT community.” It seems that the only thing to come from twenty years of sheltering his soul in the house of “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright was to liberate scripture from the onus of God. Perhaps that is what is meant by “liberation theology”.

The images interspersed with Obama’s promises for LGBTs are from a public event known as the Folsom Street Fair taken by the renown Zombietime. Their use does not constitute his approval of or endorsement of this post] This is an annual public event, one which one proud “father” (who, in a sane world, would have his children removed from his pernicious care) sees as an excellent affair with which to educate children.

I do not think it is a far stretch of the imagination to say that these images represent a fair sampling of Obama supporters, given that he clearly has their interests in mind. While reading this and viewing these images, keep in mind that legislation is being passed in increasingly more states that will introduce your child to the practices of the LGBT community. Perhaps if they viewed the uncensored photos, they would serve as an antidote to the convoluted and vile instructions in “sexual identity” that they will be indoctrinated with in the public schools.

This sick scenario is not just Obama’s baby, it is a gift from the new “progressives”, but, it is a “change” that he can not refute that he will help usher in. This is what he vows to protect while you, as a parent, as an employer, as a church pastor, as a landlord, will be legally constrained from objecting to.

It is far from tolerance now, these issues of the homosexual agenda. The sentimental pictures of wistful loving “couples” just pining to be married and only asking that, “gee why, can’t we have love too” is simply putting lipstick on a pig. Sane sex unions serves as yet another divisive political tool to further erase the traditions, mores, and families that impede the agenda of the left.

Expand Hate Crimes Statutes

In 2004, crimes against LGBT Americans constituted the third-highest category of hate crime reported. Obama co-sponsored legislation to expand federal hate crimes law to include crimes perpetrated because of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Fight Workplace Discrimination and Promote Rights

Obama believes the Employment Non-Discrimination Act should be expanded to include sexual orientation and gender identity. Obama sponsored legislation in the Illinois State Senate that would ban employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

Support Full Civil Unions and Federal Rights for LGBT Couples

Barack Obama supports full civil unions that give same-sex couples equal legal rights and privileges as married couples, including the right to assist their loved ones in times of emergency as well as equal health insurance, employment benefits, and property and adoption rights. Obama also believes we need to fully repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and enact legislation that would ensure that the 1,100+ federal legal rights and benefits currently provided on the basis of marital status are extended to same-sex couples in civil unions and other legally-recognized unions.

Oppose a Constitutional Ban on Same-Sex Marriage

Obama voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment, which would have defined marriage as between a man and a woman and prevented judicial extension of marriage-like rights to same-sex or other unmarried couples.

Repeal Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell

Obama believes we need to repeal the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. The key test for military service should be patriotism, a sense of duty, and a willingness to serve. Obama will work with military leaders to repeal the current policy and ensure we accomplish our national defense goals.

Fight AIDS Worldwide

Obama has been a global leader in the fight against AIDS. He traveled to Kenya and took a public HIV test to encourage testing and reduce the stigma of the disease. Obama worked to reauthorize the Ryan White CARE Act, one of the largest sources of federal funds for primary health care and support services for HIV/AIDS patients.

Desecrating the human body in some twisted ambition to change one’s sexual “identity” is perhaps a nuance to Christianity that Obama can get his “Reverend” Wright to explain. Certainly a man who claims twenty years as a christian would have conferred with his pastor on such critical issues.

Sen. Barack Obama co-sponsored the Matthew Shepard Act (federal anti-hate crimes law) and the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. When asked if he supports transgender inclusion, Obama said, “Absolutely. The transgendered community has to be protected. I just don’t have any tolerance for that sort of intolerance. And I think we need to legislate aggressively to protect them.”

We ardently protect men and women who choose to eviscerate their body in a narcissistic quest for some elusive sexual identity, calling it “compassion”, anointing it with the oil of progressive absolution. So, perhaps in Obama’s strange and inverted moral universe, condoning the evisceration of a nearly born infant is just another case of more flesh being rearranged, just being a god, which, as has been amply illustrated, is the lefts’ insane and driven purpose.

This must be Christianity as scraped from the dregs of a tainted, old wineskin. This is not new wine prepared for a wedding, but a type of pissing on the soul.

It befouls the Christian-Judeo god as it re-frames deity to serve a political purpose, very much as islam re-frames their allah to serve as the political beast of the caliphate.

The differences between the left and Islam are only so many degrees of death. It speaks to the thin line this nation now walks between the freedoms of our forefathers and the tyranny that this election could birth.

Obama’s Real Supporters Must Move to the Back of the Bus…For Now

This is tiresome. This entire election is about race now? In case this is also news to you Obama, that freaking war has already been fought on American soil, and the slaves were freed and Americans have more than paid with blood and coin. It’s about time you start disabusing your people of the notion that blacks are separate and victims. How dare you speak of unity when “liberation theology” is one of the tenets of Marxist indoctrination by which you gained purchase to your present chunk of national turf.

So please hush your lying mouth, Obama. Your entire campaign has been insulting enough, do we really have to go through the charade of a race lecture from someone who personifies race card politics? How can any one take any of your protestations seriously when every character in your Obama Drama has to do a two step of equivocation in their support of you.

They remain loyal but apparently understand that they need to step to the back of your campaign bus, so to speak.

Now, Mr. Obama is no dummy. Following the Cohen outing of this information in the Washington Post, Obama’s aides issued the following statement on his behalf: “I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan. I assume that Trumpet Magazine made its own decision to honor Farrakhan based on his efforts to rehabilitate ex-offenders, but it is not a decision with which I agree.”

Yes, Mr. Obama distanced himself. Even Mr. Farrakhan understands why. As Farrakhen said recently on ABC’s Nightline: “I like him very much. …He has a fresh approach…If avoiding me would help him to become president, I’d be glad to stay in the background.”

Obama’s Kenyan grandmother has joined the two step also, first asserting she is Muslim until realizing declaring such might imperil her grandson’s election chances.

Obama’s grandfather had converted to Islam from Roman Catholicism and taken the name Hussein, Sarah Obama said, but his children had inherited only the name, not the religion. Each person should be able to choose how they worshipped, she said.

“In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents,” she said. She, too, is a Christian.

Just one little problem with this statement.

In April of last year, Sarah Hussein Obama told the New York Times she is a devout Muslim.

Sarah Hussein Obama, who is his step-grandmother but whom Mr. Obama calls his grandmother, still rises at 5 a.m. to pray before tending to her crops and the three orphans she has taken in.

And now your Trinity church has attempted to make their formerly blatant proclamation vaunting their “black value system” a bit more difficult to find on their web site. And we won’t even begin to go into your anti-semitic brood of foreign policy advisors. You managed to kick Samantha Powers off the bus, but will the rest of them fit in the back?

You will continue to fool some Obama, but I do believe Americans are starting to get the scent of your game. And, as it is Obama, there are many, many more Marxists and socialists in your closet. You can’t shove them all to the back of the bus for the duration of your campaign. But your behavior will resonate with your muslim relatives and terrorist supporters who know very well how taqiyya is played

Obama and His Pastor Jeremiah Wright

I suggest that you read the entire article as it also highlights the radical left political ideology espoused by Saul Alinsky, a man that Obama has admired and whose tactics he has himself employed. This excerpt about Obama and the Trinity church speaks for itself.

Denouce all you wish Obama. The evidence of your ideological breeding are ample. An honest American can’t help but be appalled at not only your so-called spiritual roots, but your political roots as well.

On a Sunday morning two weeks before he launches his presidential campaign, Obama is at Trinity United Church of Christ on the South Side, gently swaying from side to side under a giant iron cross. From the outside, the church looks more like a fortress than a house of worship, with high whitewashed brick walls topped with security cameras. Inside, Trinity is the sort of African American community that the young Obama longed to connect with when he first came to Chicago. The church’s motto is “unashamedly black and unapologetically Christian,” and sunlight streams through stained glass windows depicting the life of a black Jesus. The Reverend Doctor Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., Trinity’s pastor since 1972, flies a red, black, and green flag near his altar and often preaches in a dashiki. He has spent decades writing about the African roots of Christianity, partly as a way to convince young blacks tempted by Islam that Christianity is not “a white man’s religion.”

On this particular Sunday, the sea of black worshippers is dotted with a few white folks up in the balcony, clutching copies of The Audacity of Hope they’ve brought for Obama’s book-signing later. Obama, sitting in the third row with his wife and two daughters, Malia and Natasha, stands, claps, prays, and sways along with the rest of the congregation. During the sermon, he watches the preacher carefully and writes notes. When asked by Wright to say a few words, Obama grabs the microphone and stands. “I love you all,” he says. “It’s good to be back home.” The 150-person choir breaks into a chorus of “Barack, Hallelujah! Barack, Hallelujah!”

Wright was unimpressed. “They were going to bring all different denominations together to have this grassroots movement,” explained Wright, a white-haired man with a goatee and a booming voice. “I looked at him and I said, Do you know what Joseph’s brother said when they saw him coming across the field?’” Obama said he didn’t. “I said, Behold the dreamer! You’re dreaming if you think you are going to do that.’”

From Wright and others, Obama learned that part of his problem as an organizer was that he was trying to build a confederation of churches but wasn’t showing up in the pews on Sunday. When pastors asked him the inevitable questions about his own spiritual life, Obama would duck them uncomfortably. A Reverend Philips put the problem to him squarely when he learned that Obama didn’t attend services. “It might help your mission if you had a church home,” he told Obama. “It doesn’t matter where, really. What you’re asking from pastors requires us to set aside some of our more priestly concerns in favor of prophesy. That requires a good deal of faith on our part. It makes us want to know just where you’re getting yours from.”

After many lectures like this, Obama decided to take a second look at Wright’s church. Older pastors warned him that Trinity was for “Buppies”–black urban professionals–and didn’t have enough street cred. But Wright was a former Muslim and black nationalist who had studied at Howard and Chicago, and Trinity’s guiding principles–what the church calls the “Black Value System”–included a “Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness.’”

The crosscurrents appealed to Obama. He came to believe that the church could not only compensate for the limitations of Alinsky-style organizing but could help answer the nagging identity problem he had come to Chicago to solve. “It was a powerful program, this cultural community,” he wrote, “one more pliant than simple nationalism, more sustaining than my own brand of organizing.”

As a result, over the years, Wright became not only Obama’s pastor, but his mentor. The title of Obama’s recent book, The Audacity of Hope, is based on a sermon by Wright. (It’s worth noting, however, that, while Obama’s book is a coolheaded appeal for common ground in an age of political polarization, Wright’s sermon, “The Audacity to Hope,” is a fiery jeremiad about persevering in a world of nuclear arms and racial inequality.) Wright is one of the first people Obama thanked after his Senate victory in 2004, and he recently name-checked Wright in his speech to civil rights leaders in Selma, Alabama.

The church also helped Obama develop politically. It provided him with new insights about getting people to act, or agitating, that his organizing pals didn’t always understand. “It’s true that the notion of self-interest was critical,” Obama told me. “But Alinsky understated the degree to which people’s hopes and dreams and their ideals and their values were just as important in organizing as people’s self-interest.” He continued, “Sometimes the tendency in community organizing of the sort done by Alinsky was to downplay the power of words and of ideas when in fact ideas and words are pretty powerful. We hold these truths to be self-evident, all men are created equal.’ Those are just words. I have a dream.’ Just words. But they help move things. And I think it was partly that understanding that probably led me to try to do something similar in different arenas.”

If Only the Elections Actually Mattered

It’s true. This election is but a distraction from the real evil that besets this nation. Evil set in motion decades ago and, short of the second coming, unlikely to be reversed or overcome by this election. Feckless, power hungry politicians perform on a stage that might as well be set up on the deck of the Titanic. They are as hapless to prevent the coming catastrophes as the captain on that doomed voyage. If anything, America’s ruling elites are positioning us to run directly towards the iceberg.

I was just reading about Condoleezza Rice’s latest obsequious behavior before her muslim overlords (this fresh from the travesty that is Kosovo where we handed islam yet another nation to subjugate) and I can’t help but think that, like Europe, America’s elite are more than willing to use islam as proxy. Why facilitate the ascent of a totalitarian and repressive ideology unless you feel that you can wield it to help suppress a restive population?

Be it here or in Europe, those who value national sovereignty, those citizens who commit the sin of patriotism, who have the nerve to defend their nation’s traditions – we have become the impediments to a global order designed to suppress those very things.

In the end, who will devour the other first; the minions of allah or the minions of the left? It will not matter much to the likes of me. I suspect us common folks were written out of the script before we were ever born.

And you know, I can’t help but think of all the children that this nation has aborted who might have risen up with the moral rectitude and power to defend America. I know, nothing to do with the topic at hand…but then again, if a people fail to revere life, whose only objective is expediency and ease, whose vision does not extend past pleasure and whose spirit embraces death, what can be hoped for from such a people?

It’s important to keep either Democrat from winning. But it’s not as important as many people think it is, and the long-term effect on the political momentum of this country will be minimal.

The permanent political class in America has nailed our rudder in place, and the ship of state is headed in a direction that will not easily be changed. The media focus is on the presidential candidates, and the big horse race, and who’s in and who’s out, but the real decisions are always being made by others. Congress, the Federal Reserve, the nameless functionaries in the permanent bureaucracy, the mandarins of the MSM who determine what the average American believes about what’s happening — these are the people who control the direction the country is headed in.

Without a leader of real character in office, the presidency is just a bit of froth on the surface of things.

…none of the major candidates for President is addressing the most important and pressing problems that face us. Continued mass immigration and the imminent collapse of the New Deal/Great Society welfare state are our most urgent issues.

And none of the major presidential candidates has addressed these grave threats in any serious fashion.

Exposing Obama One Post at a Time….

Obama Watch is an excellent resource for information on Obama that the mainstream worshippers press, for some reason, just doesn’t want to chat up very much.

This excerpt is from Todd Spivak who claims to have “known Obama for a long time and knows a different Obama from the one you see now. Obama is not the nice guy he seems.”

“A close examination of Obama’s first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career,” wrote Tribune political reporters David Jackson and Ray Long. “The man now running for president on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it.” …..

“He’s been given a pass,” says Harold Lucas, the community organizer in Chicago. “His career has been such a meteoric rise that he has not had the time to set a record.” A week after my profile of Obama was published, I called some of my contacts in the Illinois Legislature. I ran through a list of black Chicago lawmakers who had worked with Obama, and was surprised to learn that many resented him and had supported other candidates in the U.S. Senate election. “Anybody but Obama,” the late state Representative Lovana Jones told me at the time.
State Representative Monique Davis, who attended the same church as Obama and co-sponsored several bills with him, also did not support his candidacy. She complained of feeling overshadowed by Obama. “I was snubbed,” Davis told me. “I felt he was shutting me out of history.”

In a follow-up report published a couple weeks later, I wrote about these disgruntled black legislators and the central role Senate President Emil Jones played in Obama’s revived political life. The morning after the story was posted online, I arrived early at my new offices. I hadn’t taken my coat off when the phone rang. It was Obama. The article began, “It can be painful to hear Ivy League-bred Barack Obama talk jive.”
Obama told me he doesn’t speak jive, that he doesn’t say the words “homeboy” or “peeps.” It seemed so silly; I thought for sure he was joking. He wasn’t. Yet, listening to Matt Lauer interview the wanna-be president Obama, I was amazed to hear Obama say that Ferraro was engaging in “slice and dice politics that’s about race, about gender, about this and that…” He went on to say America was tired of it.

Yeah, Obama, we are damn tired of it and that is one of the very reasons I wouldn’t vote for you if you were the last man standing. You wouldn’t be where you are if it were not true that politics today is nothing but division and strife caused by exactly the type of “slice and dice” identity politics that you claim to eschew. It’s called multiculturalism and now you may reap what you and your socialist comrades have sewn.

Talk about cognitive dissonance. Is Obama so swept away by his own mythology that he actually believes that he is where he is because he has shown himself worthy of the job? Because of ground breaking legislation or an actual track record of achievements that can back up all his pomposity? Come on, how long can we play at “the Emperor Has No Clothes”?

Putting aside the absurdity that Obama seems to think that gay rights, transgender rights, black rights, latino rights, Indian rights and the whole ludicrous contingent of “identity” whiners he panders to are nothing but “slice and dice” politics in action. No, what is so amusing is that his web site provides ample evidence that he excels at “slice and dice”.

Ironically, I was working on a post about just this yesterday, making that exact point. His categorizations of Americans on his site more than demonstrates the splintered lens through which Obama sees this nation, if he sees Americans at all.

What the bloody hell ever happened to just plain old Americans? What a bunch of pretentious multicultural claptrap.

Leftist radical Saul Alinsky is often cited as an inspiration and influence in both Obama’s and Hillary’s political indoctrination. He quite clearly indicates which “slice” of America needs to be targeted to achieve political power.

Alinsky asserted that he was more concerned with the acquisition of power than anything else: “My aim here is to suggest how to organize for power: how to get it and how to use it.”

Alinsky advises his followers that the poor have no power and that the real target is the middle class: “Organization for action will now and in the decade ahead center upon America’s white middle class. That is where the power is. … Our rebels have contemptuously rejected the values and the way of life of the middle class. They have stigmatized it as materialistic, decadent, bourgeois, degenerate, imperialistic, war-mongering, brutalized and corrupt. They are right; but we must begin from where we are if we are to build power for change, and the power and the people are in the middle class majority.”

But that didn’t stop Alinsky and his followers from using the middle class for their own purposes. They counted on the guilt and shame of the white middle class to get what they wanted. In order to take over institutions and get power, the middle class had to be convinced that they were somehow lucky winners in “life’s lottery.”

That is the vein Obama adroitly taps into; white middle class guilt. For him to pretend the that his identity as an “african-American’ isn’t critical to his candidacy is utter crap. Without the skin, you have an intelligent, promising, but, unaccomplished politician. The stark salient fact remains that Obama is totally inadequate and unqualified to serve as president of the United States of America.

And it is exactly his skin color that he is depending on to repel all criticism and honest questions.

Yeah, Obama, please do quit talking about the “racist” tactics that you accuse your opponents employing and discuss any of the following:

The Real Revo says very well what I would wish to say about this woman, but, alas, I can’t find a civil word in my head when contemplating the ever so disconsolate Michelle (is she proud yet) Obama.

I have to tell you, of all the maddening aspects of a maddening political campaign, this is the worst. Listening to this spoiled woman piss and moan about lack of opportunity is a lesson in hypocrisy. Her very existence disproves the position she is promoting. Michelle Obama is more successful and than all but a tiny fraction of all humans who have ever lived. She has more wealth, health, education, power and admiration than 99.99% of all Americans of all races. She wasn’t born to her high position in life. She attained it from humble beginnings in a middle class African American family in South Chicago. She attained her wealth and status by living in a time and place in history where great opportunity is available to all who are willing to work to achieve it. That should be her message: America provides opportunities for great success to those willing to put in the effort.

Tell Obama We Want Guns!

Perhaps some of the change Obama will offer is a new theater of war. After all, the current conflict in Kenya features Obama’s cousin, Raila Odinga, a man currently accused of ethnic cleansing as his Luo tribesmen protest his election day loss. One can only hope that Obama’s American contingent of rabid fans are not quite as excitable as his cousin’s fans in Africa.

As they wave machetes with gleaming blades, rioters in Kenya’s sprawling slums say they have two things on their minds: protesting Kenya’s presidential election and Barack Obama.

The US presidential candidate — whose father is Kenyan — is a favourite son of the nation which erupted into violence after hotly-contested elections in December.

President Mwai Kibaki has claimed victory in the December 27 vote but opposition leader Raila Odinga said the polls were rigged while international observers have cited serious flaws.

About 1,000 people have since died in ethnic clashes, riots and looting.

The ethnic clashes have fueled Obama fever, with members of the Luo ethnic group rallying behind Obama, whose father was a Luo.

“Obama!” a group of Luo men shouted in unison, as they stood guard at a makeshift roadblock near the entrance of Kibera, Kenya’s biggest shantytown outside Nairobi.

“We are supporting him here. We want him to win the election,” said Mohammed Noor, 27. “Did you know that Obama’s father is also Luo?” he added.

It matters little whether individual Kenyans view this as a religious war, the purveyors of Jihad intend to swallow Kenya as well.

Islamic governments have targeted Kenya as a key element in the spread of Islam in Horn of Africa and ultimately the world. The Kenyan Diaspora including Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Hussein Obama has also played a part. The fall of Kenya into Islamist control would be devastating to anti-terrorist activities in the Horn of Africa, not to mention the potential for expansion of a caliphate. One has to ask, how fast will Kenya go Islamic and apply Shariah law?

There is no doubt Obama will have his hand in Africa…. “In his speech to well-wishers, Obama expressed a deep sense of solidarity with this small community and the Kenyan people…” … and it appears that Bush is paving the way for him.

I am not comfortable with a would-be president whose brother is a Muslim, whose cousin, if not Islamic, shares Obama’s populist/socialist ideology. I’d like him to declare unequivocally his denunciation of sharia law. Fat chance.

But when you consider the ideological similarities between the totalism in socialism and Islam, you can see where, like in England, sharia law easily insinuates itself through the rot multiculturalism has bred.

And that is one of many, many reasons for me to work furiously to see that Obama never steps a foot into the White House – except when McCain has some chores for him to do.

McCain/_______:Who Will be the Running Mate?

I am enjoying the speculations of Gullyborg at “Resistance is Futile” as to who John McCain will choose as his running mate.

He nails McCain’s manipulation of Huckabee….

….my real point is that McCain won’t choose Huckabee as his running mate. He played Huckabee, got him to stay in the race long enough to force out Thompson, Giuliani, and Romney… now he serves no purpose and can be discarded. McCain is a back stabber egomaniac, after all.

He goes on to point out how Huckabee can still screw things up for McCain if he gets enough votes, regardless of delegate count.

…if he can get enough people to vote for him simply as “not McCain” that, in terms of actual votes and not delegates, he could “win” the nomination even if he doesn’t. Imagine if, after all the primaries are done, McCain has “won” the delegate count but is far behind in terms of actual votes… that could lead to a breakdown of the nomination process and all hell could break loose at the convention.

After weighing the likely impact of Thompson and Romney, he posits that selecting Giuliani has better all around payoff and, quite frankly, I can live with that.

It isn’t about winning big in Red States. It is about holding on to Red States, even if by only one vote, and making gains in Blue States. McCain/Giuliani does that.

So what if the GOP loses Kansas? What is that, like six votes in the Electoral College? McCain/Giuliani could win New Jersey. That’s more than double. They could win Pennsylvania. That’s more than triple. They could force the democrats to spend all their money retaining New York and California, leaving states like Ohio and Florida safe in GOP hands – and the democrats CAN’T win the Electoral College without taking a state like Ohio or Florida away from the GOP.

McCain also benefits from ticket balancing with Giuliani. Not liberal/conservative, but in other ways. Giuliani is a lawyer and an executive. He has a record of running things. As VP, he could be tasked with running a number of projects for the administration – and would probably do them well.

My prediction: McCain/Giuliani, and they win BIG in the Electoral College even without getting the conservative base out in droves.

Yup, I can live with a McCain/Giuliani ticket. Sort of… given both he and McCain are too easy on illegals, and well, if I start thinking of the many trepidations I have about McCain, I realize that Obama is the only reason I have gravitated towards voting for McCain at all. The more I read about him, the more appealing McCain becomes.

And Giuliani can name the enemy, whereas an Obama presidency will probably inspire the enemy to name their kids after him.

Obama and Hillary: Steeped in the Rhetoric of Oppression

I never signed up for a course in the “-isms“; Marxism, Socialism and Communism – but researching the ideological underpinnings of the two progressive contenders for the presidency is teaching me more than I ever wanted to know.

I will frankly say that I will not vote for any black presidential candidate who chooses to designate himself as an African-American (as opposed to an American). In my mind that hyphen has come to symbolize race card politics, signaling an agenda of divisive grievances, not national unity.

And quite frankly, I could never bring myself to vote for a woman. Do with that what you will, but there was only one Margaret Thatcher and Hillary is her anti-thesis. But Hillary feeds at the same socialist trough as Obama, devouring the same multicultural, kumbaya swill.

With either candidate, it’s always about race, or class warfare, or gender issues, but never about celebrating America and it certainly is never about promoting – dare I say it – American exceptionalism.

The trinity of American exceptionalism could be described as (1) dynamism (support for equality of individual opportunity, entrepreneurship, and economic progress); (2) religiosity (emphasis on character development, mores, and voluntary cultural associations) that works to contain the excessive individual egoism that dynamism sometimes fosters; and (3) patriotism (love of country, self-government, and support for constitutional limits).(link)

I always find it amusing that the admonitions to respect the traditions of all cultures that are preached from the pulpits of multiculturalism have failed to make an impression on the very “cultures” that seek protection behind the PC mantle. But then, multiculturalism is a weapon aimed directly at the idea of “American exceptionalism”, as well as at whites, Euros, Anglos and other various “oppressor groups”. You may denigrate those cultures at will.

Obama and Hillary are steeped in the rhetoric of white supremacy, sexism and oppression, as are the academic elites who have poisoned American education.

The moral goal of such training should override white notions of privacy and individualism.” One of the leading “diversity experts” providing scores of “training programs” in universities, corporations, and government bureaucracies is Hugh Vasquez of the Todos Institute of Oakland, California. Vasquez’s study guide for a Ford Foundation-funded diversity film, Skin Deep, explains the meaning of “white privilege” and “internalized oppression” for the trainees.

I absolutely do not buy that minorities in this country suffer under systematic oppression. Instances of prejudice and incivility, yeah, I am sure that there are incidents galore. It’s called human nature and the only fools who think that they will be able to extirpate prejudice completely from the human psyche are , well – fools like Obama and Hillary – magical thinking elitists who presume to know just the right alchemy necessary to recreate the human soul.

One such social engineer is a far left radical Saul Alinsky, often mentioned in both Obama’s and Hillary’s accounts of influential political mentors.

Work ethic. Have you ever heard of that Obama? A good work ethic was a distinct point of pride among the independent men and women who refused charity during the depression. It’s what my father had. Son of an illiterate Romanian immigrant, he rose from a factory worker to a business owner, not on the public dime, but by virtue of hard work, diligence and perseverance.

I’m glad a man like you wasn’t running this country when my father was growing up. His own father deserted the family shortly after they arrived in America, but there were no handouts or sympathy for single mothers, no subsidized housing, no food stamps. There was opportunity. So an illiterate, non-English speaking immigrant gypsy fed her son and put a roof over his head, the way most honest people do- by the sweat of her brow, by her own hand, without any “programs” or insults from poverty-pimps.

That is the image my father absorbed. Not one of an indolent woman sucking on the government teat. Had he heard the defeatist rhetoric your ilk espouses he might never have developed the strength and discipline to overcome poverty. No one told him to prefer his native tongue over English. No one told him that anglo America would spit out a dirty little Romanian gypsy upstart. No one indoctrinated him in school to view himself as an entitled victim, deserving of succor and special treatment.

Fortunately, in 1927, there wasn’t anyone telling him he couldn’t do it because life was just too hard. Equipped with a sixth grade education, he went on to build a business that eventually sustained his family in luxurious comfort. And you want to know what he told “his people” from the old country who were too lazy to work and thought he ought to share his wealth? He said good-bye, in English, and showed them the door.

Do you really think you are offering something new Obama? Hucksters have been selling “something for nothing” for ages. Commercial after commercial is written with exactly the same strategy that you employ in your florid speeches; empty images and false promises designed to appeal to men’s greed, laziness and insecurities. ‘Just buy this, and guaranteed, your life “will be changed”.’ Who the hell doesn’t promise to change my life in every dreary infomercial running at 3:00 AM?.

Your messianic brand of snake oil is as old as the hills and as stale as the balding pot belly hippies that find you appealing. Governments run by men like you, Obama, cripple ambition and stunt the spirit. Just take a hard, long look at Europe, minus your globalist, rose-colored glasses. The comments of British expats on this article that claims the flight of British citizens alone number at 684 per day, provides a chilling view of what awaits America if you, or Hillary, take over the helm.

I do not want my grandchildren raised in a world run by men like you Obama. Utopia is not obtainable. The millions upon millions slaughtered in the name of your perverse “ideals” are recorded in the histories of those tragic nations who once danced to your pied-piper socialist tunes. Apparently your expensive and elaborate education failed to provide you with those accounts.

Pope Benedict says “No” rather emphatically, in Truth and Tolerance. Writing of the fall of the Soviet Union:

Vacuous promises of peace, hope and change are sufficient for the desperate, and the spiritually empty, but they are not messages designed to please the ear of honest, capable, hard working individuals. But that’s not your target audience, is it Obama?

“join us in changing the Country.”

“We believe in what this Country can be.” “In the face of war, we believe there can be peace.”

“In the face of despair, we believe there can be hope.”

Obama indeed seems to be offering a people’s government solution to all human problems. He is, after all, running for President of the United States, not for a pulpit. Substituting the state for God as provider has been the inherent common thread in all Marxist regimes.

And in this seemingly redemptive offering, Obama may be promising what only God can actually deliver, in the form of yet another, more eloquent, version of the same old utopian dream that started with Rousseau and Marx.

Shriver ends her article with a quote from a man she refers to as Obama’s political mentor. I find it particularly unsettling, yet, at the same time, very, very fitting.

Saul Alinsky began his book Rules for Radicals:

“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

John McCain and Divided Loyalties

I guess I’m a simple soul. Divided loyalties would likely bother me. If I had a salesman for my product A and I found out that he admired my competitor’s product B so much so that he could not bring himself to design an ad campaign that would knock my competition off the radar, well, I’d send that employee packing.

But I doubt Juan McCain will send his “ad guru”, Mark McKinnon, packing. I wouldn’t be surprised if he shared his sentiments since it is amply evident that McCain deviates from the accepted definition of loyalty.

It was in an interview with the Austin American-Statesman published June 8, McKinnon said, “If the Democratic nominee is Barack Obama, I will not work in the general election.”

Claiming he would still support and vote for McCain, McKinnon continued, “I just don’t want to work against an Obama candidacy.”

On Feb. 1, Richard Wolffe wrote in Newsweek that McKinnon filed an internal memo with the McCain campaign pledging not to tape ads against Obama if Obama were to become the Democratic Party nominee.

Earlier, Dec. 5, 2006, in an appearance with Tucker Carlson on MSNBC before joining the McCain campaign, McKinnon said, “I think Barack Obama is one of the most exciting politicians to come along in a long time.”

Michael Centanni, chief executive officer ofBMW, a direct fund raising agency, expresses principles that I can relate to. That agency declined working on the McCain campaign.

“We actually had an internal debate about this,” Centanni said, “and we decided our reputation as conservatives was much more important to us than the significant amount of money we could make working for McCain.”

”It’s one thing if you’re a guy who owns a printing company, but it’s another thing to come up with the ideas,” he asked. “How can you be creative when your heart is actually with another candidate?”

And how can you vote for a candidate whose heart lingers in the enemy camp. And if there were not McKinnon to ponder over, reports have emerged putting McCain in bed with Soros.

And it is a crowded bed, with at least an additional four current McCain’s campaign staffers having all been in the employ of the Reform Institute. But hey, they are all on the same page, it turns out, with the Institute supporting McCain legislation that conservatives have adamantly oppose, “including… campaign finance reform, global warming and “comprehensive immigration reform…”

How much of Soros money was behind McCain’s sudden surge to the forefront? McCain helped author the bill that opened the floodgates of venomous journalism and media campaigns that Republicans have been lambasted with in the last three elections.

One expects promiscuity from the left. Progressives are usually rather proud of their many indiscriminate liaisons and Juan McCain has proven to be as promiscuous as his progressive brethren. Ooops! I forgot. He’s a Republican RINO, willing to get in bed with just about anyone.

Random Election Thoughts…

Not one step of my political journey has a damn thing to do with the Republican Party. I feel neither loyalty nor obligation  to any party. But I am beginning to think that the advice Michelle Malkin outlines in her post on the coming election is a sane approach.

Some on the Right advise their readers and listeners to vote Democrat or sit home. My advice is exactly the opposite: Get off the couch and walk the walk for conservative candidates and officeholders who need all the help they can get defending free markets, free minds, and secure borders—no matter who takes the White House in November.

9-11 removed my liberal blinders, galvanizing the fruition of “traditional” values long dormant, planted long ago by parents who never took a dime from anyone, but achieved the American dream that began when they were babes in their legal immigrant parents’ arms.

I have had to re-examine, among other things, my knee jerk antipathy to Christianity, my inclination to blame America first, as well as my appalling ignorance about how rare and unique the American experience is. I find it ironic that so many like me are now accused of being brainwashed – by talk radio no less – when it is only in the last few years that I have become aware that I was navigating on a type of lackadaisical blind trust for much of my life.

And whom did I trust? The same media, cultural mavens, press and academia that have succeeded in indoctrinating, on a far more pervasive scale, the post-boomer generations.

Not only do we need to rally behind conservative incumbents and candidates, I really would love to see conservatives invest considerable effort and influence into preparing offensive and defensive strategies to prevent the “Progressives” from cutting us off at the knees, something they will ardently seek to do, no matter who wins the White House. Conservatives will simply need to do the jobs that elected Republicans won’t do.

The Fairness Doctrine, for instance, (along with various “hate speech/crime” legislation) is one threat that I hope we prove capable of successfully defending against. I’d rather lend my hand to a battle engaged in protecting free speech than campaigning for McCain or shilling for “the party”. Perhaps I’m guilty of some type of siege mentality, but the fight against political Islam, judges, immigration, property and gun rights, etc can not be waged if we do not stand our ground on a few linchpin issues, some of which are:

Freedom of Speech/Press/Internet…be it the PC thought police ramming hate speech codes down our throat, creeping sharia, the grasping and greedy UN, or the “progressive’s” fondness for the Fairness Doctrine – we have to prepare to win these battles, no matter which socialist rules from the White House.

American sovereignty…under threat via many fronts, i.e., open borders,illegals,immigration reform, UN and International courts, treaties that will cripple the economy and muzzle us, foreign- (primarily Arab) investment (Citibank, NASDAQ)

Parental rights/Education…They will go after home schooling. Ideally, parents need to take back control of the curriculum in the public schools, challenging textbook companies and the teachers union and whoever else is responsible for the self loathing, Ameri-phobic, revisionist, social engineering voodoo that is presently taught. But even if we could reverse years of liberalism in the schools, which seems doubtful, we need to concentrate now on strengthening the rights of parents to control all aspects of their children’s education.

I was still a comatose, pliant default liberal when Clinton was in office. I paid little notice to his antics nor politics in general. I was the perfect lemming (an irony, given that is the state of mind ascribed to loyal Americans; us Limbaugh-indoctrinated, redneck rubes, but, I digress),completely indifferent to what was going on in this nation. Thus, I missed reading about the many other ways that the Clintons managed to stain the White House.

Hillary is distasteful no matter what patina she tries to veneer to her chameleon skin, yet, for all her many facades, she never succeeds in achieving dignity or exuding elegance or class. So it isn’t surprising that she and Billy apparently had no objection to Hollywood trash befouling Abe Lincoln’s bed. In real life, when people trash your home and violate your trust, you don’t invite them back. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Do you really want to open the White House door to these people again?

That total does not include the Clintons’ relatives or their guests (of which there were 35); nor does it include daughter Chelsea’s guests (72).
