Racists Put Obama in the White House and RINOs and AINOs Will Keep Him There

If racism constitutes judging and acting towards another on the basis of their skin color as opposed to evaluating their character, then we are a nation of racists. Actually, the new United Soviet States of Amerikkka, composed of Obama voters, is a nation of racists.

The United States of America remains a land where one’s achievements and one’s character are the measures by which we gauge an individual’s merit. But that last sentence would likely be considered incendiary in the new USSA. Character is a relative term in the minds of progressives. They can ferret out “admirable” character traits in a pedophile when asked. Makes no difference if a child is molested, the perpetrator was, otherwise, such an admirable person. What’s the harm with a small character flaw such as sexual deviancy.

So it matters little that Obama is a liar, a hypocrite, a player and a puppet. They hired him because of his pigmentation. Truly, affirmative action has played it’s final poisonous hand. It just elected an incompetent, unqualified traitor to the White House.

RINO McCain

John McCain and his RINOs lost this for America, though that cancerous wing of the party is moving with great alacrity to blame the conservative base, the base that they so disingenuously loot the Reagan creds from. And now we see emerging from McCain’s campaign staff the branch of weasels who obviously helped facilitate McCain’s defeat.

The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.” (Source)

Old Juan was more than ready to pounce on conservatives who used Obama’s middle name, any who dared to speak the damn facts about our imposter in the Desecrated White House. Why haven’t we yet heard his denunciation of his blue blood country club staff of miscreants? Damnable fool. He was always the lesser of two evils. Now we are going to see how very minimal the differences between him and Obama are. I know already the bastard is going to kiss Obama’s ass.

During the campaign, McCain staunchly opposed setting a deadline even as the Iraqi government began working with the Bush administration to do so.

But in conceding the presidency to Obama, McCain pledged “to do all in my power to help him lead us through the many challenges we face.”

Aides said they believed McCain would work well with Obama as president because much of his best work in the Senate has been done with Democrats, including a landmark campaign finance law he crafted with Senator Russ Feingold and an unsuccessful effort with Senator Edward Kennedy to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

Democrats, who padded their majorities in the House and Senate, suggested McCain could mediate solutions to partisan standoffs on key legislation.

“There’s a need for the old John McCain, a leader who worked in a bipartisan way,” Senator Chuck Schumer, a Democrat, said on Wednesday. (bold mine)(source)

Yeah, John is back to being Juan. Here come those illegals, there goes talk radio. Yeah, well John, quit the pretense and switch sides.

And already you are reading conciliatory tones in blogs as if somehow Obama is less an enemy in the White House than when he was running for it. And those who have referred to themselves as “911 Republicans” are more than ready to purge the base of conservatives. Johnson of LGF shows which way the wind is blowing.

If the GOP decides to go in the Bobby Jindal direction (fundamental Christianity, creationism, hard-line anti-abortionism, aggressively anti-gay rights), it will be committing political suicide. As much as anything else, this election was a referendum on the social conservative agenda, and the social conservatives did not win.( Source)

It’s a damn shame. LGF was a powerful force after 911. Johnson has done some terrific work. Now it appears he will use whatever influence he may have to oppose the very conservative base that has read and supported his efforts for the last several years. I guess the Zappa quotes have always been a clue.

And as much as I have appreciated Glenn Beck, he is out of his ever loving mind. Just as he has it wrong about the nature of Islam, he seems to want to extend the same benefit of a doubt to Obama. He contends we have a constitutional obligation to respect the office of the presidency. Beg to differ. Not when it is occupied with a Marxist Soros puppet who has stated he believes that very constitution is flawed.

…he is the American President and anyone who doesn’t accept him as the President of the United States is pure and simple un-American. That does not mean that you accept everything he does. That does not mean that you sell out your values. That doesn’t mean that you don’t fight for the Constitution and fight for what you believe in, but he is the President of the United States and if you believe in this system, then you are required, you are required to accept him as the President of the United States, period, and you support him in every way possible because we — a house divided will not stand.
[...]
I’m not going to pick up arms against the guy who was rightfully elected the President of the United States because I say give the man the benefit of the doubt. Let the man rule and let’s fight him the way Americans fight, in the ballot box, not on the streets, not through smears.(Source)

“rightfully elected the President”?!? Excuse me? I guess Chavez and Ahmadinejad were “rightfully” elected too. Might as well anticipate 2012 to resemble a third world country election. We still have the trappings of Americana around us this year. By the time the Obama goon squads apply their campaign tactics to the resistant populace at large for the next four years, after installation of the fairness doctrine and whatever they do on the internet, we might as well not even bother with a freaking election. It will be a sham, just as this one was. If anything about this election were right, Obama would never has made it past the primaries. Go ask a Hillary supporter about the “right” methods he employed dislodging Clinton.

This isn’t America anymore, Glenn, hate to break it to you. But those loyal Americans who remain, the ones who didn’t vote out of disgust and those of us who swallowed our bile and voted McCain, those Americans are still a force to be reckoned with. But not if we pander to the RINOs, not if we act as if the magic of the Oval office will clean the dirt off the “rightfully elected” politician who will soon reside there.

Idiot Libtard “Progressive” Goes Orgasmic Stealing McCain Signs

Sure, I understand that stealing a sign will not change anyone’s mind, and, most likely, will only embolden McCain supporters’ disdain for liberals. Even so, yanking out the signs and running like a scared rabbit back to my idling car was one of the single-most exhilarating and empowering political acts that I have ever done.

Vote Iraq Style

The quintessential liberal mind on display here.  Self-centered, arrogant, and totally devoid of any sense of reality. This fool, Busse, actually considers stealing McCain-Palin signs as something “empowering” or laudatory. The picture to your right illustrates a “political act”, you idiotic poser. I imagine that all Iraqis with a purple finger might be able to expand your understanding of what actually constitutes an “exhilarating political act”.

And this milquetoast, castrated, wanna-be radical is orgasmic with the thrill of stealing signs. And of course he uses several paragraphs rationalizing and justifying. These are the caliber people voting Obama.

Today, national politics amounts to slick TV ads and choreographed stump speeches. A vote often feels like a raindrop in an ocean. But this illicit act of civil disobedience was something visceral. It was unscripted and raw expression. It was a chance to stop talking about theories and projections and get my hands dirty. Of course, I realized there was the very real chance my antics in rural Minnesota would be met with a shotgun, or at least a hockey dad tackling me.
Mature? No. Illegal? Yes. Satisfying? Definitely.
(Source)via LGF commenter

Yes, and it’s all about satisfaction, isn’t it? All about feeeeeeeeling. Yeah, well, I’d like to show the strutting little weasel something real visceral. And he’d like to get his hands dirty, would he now? Sick of theories, is he? Good. Go live on the street. Give up your credentials (worthless though they are) and figure out that life extends beyond the parameters of a reality show. Actually live the lives of those you theorize about.

I correspond with one man who did just that. Dismayed and disillusioned he went from theories to practice. He ditched a cushy job, cast aside his degrees and spent the next 15 years working in mission houses throughout America. Let’s see what Mr. “raw expression” feels about theories if he actually lives a raw life amongst those that he and the Obamanites of the world deem needful of their damnable government teats and nanny controls.

Freaking diploma trash, that’s all these depraved and hollowed-out academicians are – certainly they are indicative of some severe defect in human DNA. No wonder intellectuals were once a hated class. They damn well deserve it.

Update: Looks like the little freak Busse has been asked to resign from his temporary teaching position from St. Olaf College. I hope he finds his unemployment “exhilarating.”

Get Your “Palin is a C***T” T-Shirt, Courtesy of Obama’s “Civilized” Progressives

UpDate: I thought the T-shirts pictured below were bad, but this – this is vile. This comes from a mind that has beat off to porn magazines the majority of their lives while killing kittens between sessions.
Having, much to my shame, been a liberal most of my life, I am pretty calloused, but I can’t bring myself to reproduce this here. You’ll have to follow the link.
The Most Offensive Palin Hit Yet

ANd yet, the liberals are upset because some McCain supporter had a monkey with Obama’s name on it, regardless that Bush was referred to as chimp or some such derogatory slang for eight years.
Glenn Beck keeps insisting that we are all of us, DimocRATS and Republicans alike, Americans. I beg to differ. I have nothing in common with these people and they are, frankly, using up way too much good oxygen.

Progressives are strutting about in righteous indignation over the decorum of McCain supporters, totally ignoring yet another sophomoric and vile demonstration of their side’s true nature. Note how proud they are.

WOW Staffers Also Wear Sarah Palin C*nt T-Shirts

Yesterday we asked why the media was reporting a McCain supporter calling Barack Obama an “Arab” and completely ignoring Obama supporters calling Sarah Palin a cunt, even wearing T-shirts with the phrase “Sarah Palin is a cunt” on them.

This morning I see a quite a few links to yesterday’s post, as well as some news outlets finally reporting it (ABC’s Political Punch, LA Times’ Top of the Ticket, The Politico and it was mentioned on Fox News at 9 a.m.)

In following a couple of the links to the original piece written here at WUA, I find there are more wearing those T-Shirts, named and posing proudly…. members of WOW staff, to be exact.

Barney Franks, His Boyfriend Moses, and Fannie Mae

Barney Franks -a swinish man who, in stature and honor, is akin to a veritable flea biting at McCain’s ankles – epitomizes the “audacity” that Barack Obama’s campaign lays claim to. The audacity of lying crooks who loathe America while daring to claim to support and protect her.

Barney Frank Slams McCain

“McCain is Andy Kaufman in his Mighty Mouse costume – ‘Here I Come to Save the Day,’” Frank said as he left a Thursday morning caucus meeting with House Democrats, saying the Republican presidential candidate’s decision to enter the mix “is not helpful.”

“He hasn’t been involved,” Frank said. “He doesn’t know anything about it.”

Why does Barney Frank think he’s in a position to say McCain is unqualified to be at the negotiating table? Check out this Fox News report, via Ace, focusing on Frank’s role in thwarting efforts to avert this crisis:

Media Mum on Barney Frank’s Fannie Mae Love Connection

Are journalists playing favorites with some of the key political figures involved with regulatory oversight of U.S. financial markets?

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews launched several vitriolic attacks on the Republican Party on his Sept. 17, 2008, show, suggesting blame for Wall Street problems should be focused in a partisan way. However, he and other media have failed to thoroughly examine the Democratic side of the blame game.

Prominent Democrats ran Fannie Mae, the same government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) that donated campaign cash to top Democrats. And one of Fannie Mae’s main defenders in the House – Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., a recipient of more than $40,000 in campaign donations from Fannie since 1989 – was once romantically involved with a Fannie Mae executive.
[...]
Frank was and remains a stalwart defender of Fannie Mae, which is now under FBI investigation along with its sister organization Freddie Mac, American International Group Inc. (NYSE:AIG) and Lehman Brothers (NYSE:LEH) – all recently participants in government bailouts. But Frank has derailed efforts to regulate the institution, as well as denying it posed any financial risk. Frank’s office has been unresponsive to efforts by the Business & Media Institute to comment on these potential conflicts of interest.
While the relationship reportedly ended 10 years ago, Frank was serving on the House Banking Committee the entire 10 years they were together. The committee is the primary House body which along with the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) has jurisdiction over the government-sponsored enterprises.

He has served on the committee since becoming a congressman in 1981 and became the ranking Democrat on the committee in 2003. He became chairman of the committee, now called the House Financial Services Committee, in 2007.

Moses was the assistant director for product initiatives at Fannie Mae and had been at the forefront of relaxing lending restrictions at the company for rural customers, according to the Feb. 23, 1998, issue of National Mortgage News (NMN).

A Tragic and Ludicrous Travesty: Barack Obama “Advising” on Finacial Crisis

Republicans? Democrats? Who is at fault? Neither party actually. The “party” at fault is one that has grown and proliferated in our country, our media, and throughout our educational system much like fungi thrives under the cover of darkness. They are called socialists and they are in both parties.

They hide. They hide behind children, they hide behind illegals, they hide behind the poor – all of whom they use to provide the cover of “compassion”.  They hate freedom, they hate capitalism, they hate life, and they hate this country.
In this election they have produced a public face that they are hoping will successfully camouflage the rot that composes their souls as they make a bid to take this country down.  His name is Barack Hussein Obama.

Democrat Obama and Republican McCain… sat down with the president at the White House for an hourlong afternoon session that was striking in this brutally partisan season—but also, according to one participant, “a full-throated discussion.”
[...]
Obama and McCain were at distant ends of the oval table, not even in each other’s sight lines.
(Source)

That Barack Hussein Obama should participate with this nation’s leaders on this economic meltdown is as much of a sham as his accusations that Republicans and capitalism have brought America to the precipice upon which we now totter. It’s rather like inviting  a diseased whore to advise on the necessity of virtue and morality. Yet, there they sit, Barack Obama and his pimps, advising on a crisis that their political agenda and ideology has brought to poisonous fruition.

Please consider the following:

Chris Dodd (head of the Senate Banking Committee), Barack Obama and John Kerry were the top three recipients of Fannie’s money, together collecting around $360,000. (Here and here)

Democrats Channel Hugo Chavez in Rescue Demands

But perhaps the public doesn’t understand — as I didn’t until this month — just how much of that collapse was in fact orchestrated by the socialist hijinks of congressional Democrats (including Obama), by Bill Clinton, and by Jimmy Carter: Between them, they forced banks and S&Ls into the volatile and risky sub-prime market; and then the Democrats repeatedly prevented any attempt by congressional Republicans (and by President Bush) to oversee and regulate that market.

Why would they do this? First, because Democrats have long been getting huge campaign donations from banks and other mortgage lenders; in fact, the top two recipients of such money are Sens. Chris Dodd (D-CT, 95%) and Barack Obama. Both subsequently encouraged exactly the sort of loan speculation they now decry, an act that reeks of corruption. In addition, many former members of the Clinton administration, including Franklin Delano Raines, former Commerce Secretary William Daley, and Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick (of “Gorelick’s wall” infamy), ended up running Fannie and Freddie or lobbying for them… and incidentally raking off tens of millions of dollars for themselves.

But the real culprit in this collapse isn’t just Democratic corruption; it’s the leftist demand to increase minority home ownership by lending low-income borrowers more money than they qualify to borrow, with higher mortgage payments than they are able to pay. That is, offering mortgages that violate the most basic rules of banking, as a form of “housing welfare.” That is the crux of this very real, but very specific crisis.

Obama and his media pals mislead on Wall Street turmoil

…in 2005, McCain was pushing the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act to rein in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and require more stringent regulation by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, by which time Barack Obama — who did nothing — was on his way to becoming a top recipient of of donations from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Wall Street firms enmeshed in the sub-prime mortgage mess. (Indeed, the biggest chunk of industry donations to Camp Obama comes from the Finance, Insurance & Real Estate (FIRE) sector — just edging out Lawyers & Lobbyists.) So McCain did not suddenly embrace this issue; if anyone has, it is Obama, who is grasping for an issue to regain the lead in the public opinion polls with less than 50 days until the election.

‘Crony’ Capitalism Is Root Cause Of Fannie And Freddie Troubles

Meanwhile, Fannie and Freddie also became a kind of jobs program for out-of-work Democrats.

Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, the CEOs under whom the worst excesses took place in the late 1990s to mid-2000s, were both high-placed Democratic operatives and advisers to presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Clinton administration official Jamie Gorelick also got taken care of by the Fannie-Freddie circle. So did top Clinton aide Rahm Emanuel, among others.

The Trillion-Dollar Bank Shakedown That Bodes Ill for Cities

The Clinton administration has turned the Community Reinvestment Act, a once-obscure and lightly enforced banking regulation law, into one of the most powerful mandates shaping American cities—and, as Senate Banking Committee chairman Phil Gramm memorably put it, a vast extortion scheme against the nation’s banks. Under its provisions, U.S. banks have committed nearly $1 trillion for inner-city and low-income mortgages and real estate development projects, most of it funneled through a nationwide network of left-wing community groups, intent, in some cases, on teaching their low-income clients that the financial system is their enemy and, implicitly, that government, rather than their own striving, is the key to their well-being.

The CRA’s premise sounds unassailable: helping the poor buy and keep homes will stabilize and rebuild city neighborhoods. As enforced today, though, the law portends just the opposite, threatening to undermine the efforts of the upwardly mobile poor by saddling them with neighbors more than usually likely to depress property values by not maintaining their homes adequately or by losing them to foreclosure. The CRA’s logic also helps to ensure that inner-city neighborhoods stay poor by discouraging the kinds of investment that might make them better off.

Barack Obama: The Bilingual Liar

I guess Barack Hussein Obama has learned enough Spanish to approve of this ad.

Video via Election Geek

And Barack Obama doesn’t have much that he needs to learn about lying. He already excels. Did he really think no one would notice? But, this is a typical Progressive tactic. As Dan Rather had little respect for the truth in his attempt to derail George Bush, the Progressives are willing to throw as much fecal matter on the wall as they think it will take to impugn the integrity of their opponents in the hope that something will stick. And they are counting on America’s citizens not to bother to scrape it off in search for the truth. You would think Americans of any political stripe would get sick of being treated like moronic peasants. Because that is what the elite definitely view us as.

Rush Limbaugh in the Wall Street Journal

I understand the rough and tumble of politics. But Barack Obama — the supposedly postpartisan, postracial candidate of hope and change — has gone where few modern candidates have gone before.

Mr. Obama’s campaign is now trafficking in prejudice of its own making. And in doing so, it is playing with political dynamite. What kind of potential president would let his campaign knowingly extract two incomplete, out-of-context lines from two radio parodies and build a framework of hate around them in order to exploit racial tensions? The segregationists of the 1950s and 1960s were famous for such vile fear-mongering…

The Dirty Dog Days of Barack Obama

The dirt dug up on Barack Obama during this horribly long summer campaign season is accumulating like an overflowing landfill. It’s getting to be that you can’t get through that man’s personal and political resume without a piece of excavating equipment..

The latest dirt on Barack Obama’s profit from Fannie and Freddie is beyond dispute. Yet, the faithful media sycophants continue to blame Bush, continue to smear McCain and continue to treat their very fallible and soiled savior as sacred.
The video below exposes the following:

CEO calling Obama and Dems the “Family” “Conscience” of Fannie Mae

The Banking Failures are because of the Housing Crisis, which was caused by mortgage lenders handing out bad loans and the biggest offenders: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

The Democrats have been taking PAYOFFS from Fannie and Freddie to look the other way FOR DECADES!

NOW VIDEO FOUND of the CEO of Fannie Mae in 2005 explaining the “FAMILY” connection with Democrats

And specifically Barack Obama and the Congressional Black Caucus (source)

From Just Opinions:
Crisis, Regulation, Free Markets, and the Campaign
(via Sister Toldjah)

A major component of the problem is the fact that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and the investment bankers, were making very generous donations to various Congressional Representatives’ and Senators’ campaign funds. The number one recipient of these contributions was, coincidentally, the Democratic Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, Christopher Dodd, who also got a sweetheart deal from Countrywide, America’s largest home lender, for his own home mortgage. The number two recipient of the largesse of Fannie and Freddie was (hold onto your hats) a freshman Senator named Barack Obama. He got more money from these guys than any other member of the Senate except for the Chairman of the Banking Committee. How do you suppose that happened?

On the other hand, in 2005, three years ago, Senator John McCain introduced a bill in the Senate called the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, which would have placed the exact restraints on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that might have prevented this crisis. What happened to the bill? It was killed by Chris Dodd’s committee.

This is all a little bit too complex to be the subject of a TV campaign ad, so Obama blames George Bush, and therefore John McCain, because, as everybody knows, they are one and the same, and McCain blusters about promising to go after the greedy Wall Street bankers. Oversimplifications R Us.

But the real truth is, in this economic crisis, McCain is the prescient reformer, and Obama is the sold-out enabler.

The Stench of Barack Hussein Obama

Barack Obama talking trash again. You can bet on it. Behind ornate closed doors and over plates scraped clean of a meal costing his followers $285,000 [Ed: Ooops! Correction- a thoughtful reader pointed out it was $28,500 per plate, not 285,000 each, Obama is organizing his new community, getting cozy with the wealthy white folks he wants to ingratiate himself with. The ones he can relax with, joining with them in their visceral aversion to the working class that he is currently working very hard to hoodwink. But he doesn’t want it to get out this time. Not like before when his real face was exposed to the bitter Americans he needs to win. So the reporters who, like Pavlovian dogs, urinate and defecate for their master on cue, obeyed. They stayed away. And the Hollywood elites who want your 10 bucks at the theater panted for their new master.

I find it incredibly ironic that Barry would snub wounded troops in Germany because he couldn’t bring his press entourage with him but then would bar them from attending an event in his honor among the beautiful people. If anything during this election fails to show the antipathy that Barry O has for the common man, it should be the care that he takes to prevent the common man from hearing what he says to the elites.

(Source)

But some elites are turning on him. They smell the stink of a loser perhaps.

Trump, never shy with his opinions, went on to say that McCain appears to be winning, and that Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) should have chosen Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) as his running mate.

“I know John McCain, and John McCain’s a great guy, a tremendous guy,” Trump told King. “I’ve known him for a long time. And I’m with him, and I’m with him based on the fact that I have great knowledge of John McCain. Also, this is not the right time for tax increases. And Obama wants to increase your taxes drastically.”

(Source)

Lady Lynn Forester De Rothschild, former Hillary supporter:

“I have a wonderful life. I want John McCain and Sarah Palin in the White House so other people can have that wonderful life… This is so sad when the Democratic Party plays the class card… The Democratic Party tries to take those issues as wedge issues. John McCain and Sarah Palin are there for ordinary Americans.”

(source)

And the Jews are catching the scent of the antisemitism that wafts around Obama and his supporters.

A shocking new poll shows that Jewish voters in New York prefer McCain over Obama by a margin of 54-32 percent. That is even more remarkable because the last poll showed that New York Jews preferred Obama over McCain by a margin of 55-42 percent. That is a 35-point reversal! More details on the Commentary blog, Contentions. (Source)

Folks are getting tired of every rock one turns over, another enemy of America crawls out with an Obama pin on their lapel.

Who is Mike Klonsky?

- A member of the Obama Campaign

(ran a blog on the official website)

- Received a $175,000 grant from the Ayers/Obama-led Annenberg Challenge

- Destructive, hardlined Maoist. Formed a pro-Chinese sect called the October League (Beijing-recognized Communist Party) Marxist-Lenninist

- Traveled to Beijing and toasted the stalinist Chinese leadership as “reflecting the aspirations of the proletariat and working people”

- Pushes an authoritarian “social justice” agenda. Translation – Supports repayment of centuries of “educational debt” to people of color. (Source)

And if this is ever gets past the media whores who protect him, this country might finally be done with the stench of Barack Obama.

This video shows Fannie Mae CEO talking to members of the Congressional Black Caucus:

The Democrats have been taking PAYOFFS from Fannie and Freddie and have looked the other way FOR DECADES!

They’ve blocked reform.

Now there’s NEW VIDEO of the CEO of Fannie Mae in 2005 explaining the “FAMILY” connection with Democrats and specifically Barack Obama and the Congressional Black Caucus. It looks like Michelle Obama was at the event, too.

(Source)

No matter where you turn, no matter how you spin it, Barack Obama is poisoning the air of this free land. And more and more will ask – “Why is no one holding Barack Obama accountable?”

I don’t understand.

I don’t understand why no one is holding Sen. Obama accountable.

My brother has been in Iraq for 17 months. 17 months he hasn’t seen his 2 little girls, his wife, or any of the rest of us (his family). And no one cares that Sen Obama decided to use my brother and others like him in Iraq for some kind of political game.

No one gives a damn.

I don’t understand how supporters of Sen Obama who have family or friends in the military are choosing to brush this off. (Source)

Barack Hussein Obama must be stopped. He must lose. The stench of the left must be vanquished if America is to survive.

Sarah Palin: “Small Town” Barracuda

Whine vrs Roar

Images stolen from Presto Pundit

Sarah Palin. Outstanding!!!! Finally, a woman leader that I can respect.

She hunts. She fishes. She was voted Miss Congeniality after winning a beauty pageant in her small town in Alaska. She is a mother of five and a churchgoer who says her favourite meal is moose stew.

But the quality that may serve Sarah Palin best after being chosen by John McCain as his running mate yesterday may be the competitiveness and determination to win that earned her the name Sarah Barracuda for her sharp elbows as high school basketball player.(Source)

Barracuda, is it? I’d say so!

Just look at the wiki entry below. The girl has some balls, going after her own party, standing on principle instead of politics. ( You can find the term “principles” in the dictionary Obama. No doubt you’ll need to look it up.)
Obama’s camp had the nerve to come out with this snipe:

Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Go put your toga back on and find another temple for your misguided flock to worship you at. The only foreign policy experince you have had is supporting your Marxist cousin in Kenya and your recent rock tour through Europe. Sarah Palin shows you up as the metrosexual whiner that you are. And I bet she’d kick your ass on the basketball court. And Obama, sweetie, had you tried your type of politics in Sarah Palin’s “small town” she would have run you out on a rail!

Palin served two terms on the Wasilla City Council from 1992 to 1996. In 1996, she challenged and defeated the incumbent mayor, criticizing wasteful spending and high taxes.[6] The ex-mayor and sheriff tried to organize a recall campaign, but failed.[6] Palin followed through on her campaign promises to reduce her own salary, and to reduce property taxes by 60%.[6] She ran for reelection against the former mayor in 1999, winning by an even larger margin.[6][11] Palin was also elected president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors.[12]

In 2002, Palin made an unsuccessful bid for Lieutenant Governor, coming in second to Loren Leman in a five-way race in the Republican primary. After Frank Murkowski resigned from his long-held U.S. Senate seat in mid-term to become governor, Palin interviewed to be his possible successor. Murkowski appointed his daughter, then-Alaska State Representative Lisa Murkowski.[6]

Governor Murkowski appointed Palin Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission,[13] where she served from 2003 to 2004 until resigning in protest over what she called the “lack of ethics” of fellow Alaskan Republican leaders, who ignored her whistleblowing complaints of legal violations and conflicts of interest.[14][6] After she resigned, she exposed the state Republican Party’s chairman, Randy Ruedrich, one of her fellow Oil & Gas commissioners, who was accused of doing work for the party on public time, and supplying a lobbyist with a sensitive e-mail.[15] Palin filed formal complaints against both Ruedrich and former Alaska Attorney General Gregg Renkes, who both resigned; Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine.[6]
[...]
Highlights of Governor Palin’s tenure include a successful push for an ethics bill, and also shelving pork-barrel projects supported by fellow Republicans. After federal funding for the Gravina Island Bridge project that had become a nationwide symbol of wasteful earmark spending was lost, Palin decided against filling the over $200 million gap with state money.[17][18] “Alaska needs to be self-sufficient, she says, instead of relying heavily on ‘federal dollars,’ as the state does today.”[19]

She has challenged the state’s Republican leaders, helping to launch a campaign by Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell to unseat U.S. Congressman Don Young[20] and publicly challenging Senator Ted Stevens to come clean about the federal investigation into his financial dealings.[17]

In 2007, Palin had an approval rating often above 90%.[19] A poll published by Hays Research on July 28, 2008 showed Palin’s approval rating at 80%,[21] while another Ivan Moore poll showed it at 76%, a drop which the pollsters attributed to the controversial firing of Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan.[22]

Russian Revival: Reprogressives Applaud

I have been late writing anything on Georgia because I didn’t want to leave the oasis of contentment that a new grandchild affords and, sure enough, that bubble was promptly burst when in my research I came across Frank Schaeffer’s Why Russia Invaded Georgia….(H/T: Brian Akira)

I’ll be damned if it’s not all America’s fault – again. Oh, I don’t deny we need to keep our freaking hands out of the Balkans. I detest that our interference in Bosnia, Kosovo and Serbia served to elevate an Islamic nation to the detriment of the former eastern bloc countries that we need to support. But you would think the left could write a different song. Come up with a damnable argument that has something to it beyond the usual inculpatory script and dialog berating America.

It takes a special breed of a-historical American president who is steeped in the Protestant idea of denominationalism; wherein Methodists, Presbyterians, Southern Baptists etc., all do their thing and somehow get along, to so thoroughly misunderstand the fact that Russia is reemerging first and foremost as a country reconnecting with its Orthodox historical imperial roots. We just have no concept of blood ties, soil and holy tradition in America. Since we don’t take tradition seriously we can’t believe that anyone else does.

And it takes a very common breed of Ameri-phobic writer to exalt Russian history and tradition while sneering at America. And who exactly are the Americans who do not take tradition seriously? Could it be the Progressives (whose camp this self-confessed Obama supporter is clearly in) who have made America’s roots and founding a point of attack in endless revisionist histories and with relentless denigration of American ideals. Are not those Americans who seek to preserve our traditions, who seek to circumvent the continuous attacks on our constitution, who endlessly offer proof of our Judeo-Christian roots the very ones who are derided as atavistic, racist nativists?

Oh yes, Mr. Schaeffer pens a good screed but he seems very conflicted to me. He snorts contemptuously at the American proclivity to

…shop for church experiences as we shop for everything else …

yet has written a book entitled “CRAZY FOR GOD-How I Grew Up As One Of The Elect, Helped Found The Religious Right, And Lived To Take All (Or Almost All) Of It Back“, which suggests to me that Schaeffer exercised an American tradition of religious freedom. A freedom he disparages when Bush signals the presumption of that freedom demonstrated by the fact that a multitude of denominations actually do

somehow get along .

Perhaps, it is because too many Americans

… have no concept of blood ties, soil and holy tradition in America

, that we now stand to lose it all. Writers like Schaeffer can’t even manage to maintain reverence for the brief and brilliant history that we can lay claim to. Our flag is burned with impunity, our founding fathers are scorned, our history revised by academic jackals whose lips are bloody from gnashing on the body and soul of America. Citizens of Schaeffer’s ilk can’t even manage to render respect to our grandparents’ generation, let alone “blood ties”.

Yet, Schaeffer scolds America for not understanding that

Russia is reemerging first and foremost as a country reconnecting with its Orthodox historical imperial roots.

So Russia’s roots, steeped in the blood of it’s own citizens, are to be respected, but America’s roots, which ultimately engendered freedom and prosperity around the globe, are to be routinely spurned and castigated.

Schaeffer and his brood of sniping parrots can squawk away endlessly about American, so-called, imperialism , wringing their hands that we

have been busy insulting and humiliating the Orthodox world since the end of the Cold War.

Does the fool even understand what the Cold War was about? Do we just sweep under the rug the imperialistic “insults” that the USSR inflicted on it’s neighbors and citizens for decades. We, who for quite a long time, had the means to really humiliate Russia with a couple of quick nukes but chose not to, are, in the end, swinish louts because we didn’t what? Apologize for being America?

He admires the resoluteness of Russia

with its Orthodox historical imperial roots

yet lambastes Bush for being

… willing to impose [his] vision by brutal force of arms.

He disdains McCain’s

… bellicose smart ass — “All I see is KGB in his eyes posturing

but has nothing to say about the Georgian civilians just freshly murdered by a rather bellicose smart ass Russian response. And he doesn’t imagine that Putin also has a vision that he has just demonstrably executed by “brutal force” in Georgia? And does he not imagine that Putin’s vision differs little from Russia’s historical vision of domination far beyond Georgia? But, oh, that history is to be revered.

Indeed, he exudes admiration for resurgent Orthodox Russia- but is oh so quick to blame America that Russia chose to “resurge” in Georgia, as if Georgia was never in Russia’s “resurging” sights to begin with?….

In Russia’s case its public humiliation at the hands of the United States, following the Cold War, could not have been designed better to have produced the invasion of Georgia….

Indeed this writer’s words stroke Russia like some exotic wild animal, admiring it’s “flexing muscles” , abjuring us to show due respect.

As Russia flexes her muscles we’re reminded that history and religion are serious matters for some people, not just products to try then discard.

Unless those “some people” happen to be traditional Americans, constitutionalists, Christians and patriots. It is quite alright to dismiss Russia’s many sins and defer to it as a reemerging nation and in the same breath denigrate Bush for deciding

it would be a good idea to place a missile defense system in Poland, disregard Russia’s advice and invade Iraq and further insult and encircle the heart of the Eastern Orthodox world.

Russia’s advice on Iraq?!? Dear Mr. Schaeffer, Russia had long been in bed with Saddam and I am sure Putin’s advice would have been to ignore their complicity with our enemies in the food for oil imbroglio. In the eyes of the Schaeffer’s of the world, it is quite alright for Russia to suggest that they will put missiles in Cuba but damn President Bush for seeking to keep Americans safe.

And with this sentence he just flat out gives himself away.

What’s going on is the slow-motion counterattack of the Orthodox world against the West’s latest crusade. Georgia is just a symbol for the counter-punch to the modern version of the West’s sack of Constantinople in 1204.

Earlier in his diatribe he despairs that

American evangelicals invaded Russia with missionaries, because they said the Orthodox aren’t real Christians

but I guarantee you he has nothing to say about Islam’s chauvinistic global agenda of converting all infidels to Islam and slamming us all under sharia law. No, it’s always the “Crusader’s” fault.

America should scurry out of the way of an awakening Russia, defer to and genuflect to the land that gave us Stalin, the Gulags, and the scourge of Communism and then we should proceed to take out our whips and flagellate our crusader hides, because indeed

…why is Russia invading? It’s pay back thumb-in-your-eye time.

Russia is reemerging first and foremost as a country reconnecting with its Orthodox historical imperial roots.

And America is cannibalizing it’s own body, convulsed in some atavistic urge to worship at the feet of thugs and theocrats, willing to sacrifice freedom and heritage and prosperity for some blood atonement that will never ever wash our “sins” away in the eyes of the left.

The McCain Op-Ed

This is the man whose words and knowledge has the cowardly  Obama and the elitist NY Slimes twisting reality in order to avoid.  Obama won’t debate him and the New York Slimes won’t publish him.

The McCain Op-Ed The New York Times Wouldn’t Publish – America’s Election HQ

In January 2007, when General David Petraeus took command in Iraq, he called the situation “hard” but not “hopeless.” Today, 18 months later, violence has fallen by up to 80 percent to the lowest levels in four years, and Sunni and Shiite terrorists are reeling from a string of defeats. The situation now is full of hope, but considerable hard work remains to consolidate our fragile gains.

Progress has been due primarily to an increase in the number of troops and a change in their strategy. I was an early advocate of the surge at a time when it had few supporters in Washington. Senator Barack Obama was an equally vocal opponent. “I am not persuaded that 20,000 additional troops in Iraq is going to solve the sectarian violence there,” he said on January 10, 2007. “In fact, I think it will do the reverse.”

Now Senator Obama has been forced to acknowledge that “our troops have performed brilliantly in lowering the level of violence.” But he still denies that any political progress has resulted.

Perhaps he is unaware that the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad has recently certified that, as one news article put it, “Iraq has met all but three of 18 original benchmarks set by Congress last year to measure security, political and economic progress.” Even more heartening has been progress that’s not measured by the benchmarks. More than 90,000 Iraqis, many of them Sunnis who once fought against the government, have signed up as Sons of Iraq to fight against the terrorists. Nor do they measure Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki’s new-found willingness to crack down on Shiite extremists in Basra and Sadr City — actions that have done much to dispel suspicions of sectarianism.

The success of the surge has not changed Senator Obama’s determination to pull out all of our combat troops. All that has changed is his rationale. In a New York Times op-ed and a speech this week, he offered his “plan for Iraq” in advance of his first “fact finding” trip to that country in more than three years. It consisted of the same old proposal to pull all of our troops out within 16 months. In 2007 he wanted to withdraw because he thought the war was lost. If we had taken his advice, it would have been. Now he wants to withdraw because he thinks Iraqis no longer need our assistance.

To make this point, he mangles the evidence. He makes it sound as if Prime Minister Maliki has endorsed the Obama timetable, when all he has said is that he would like a plan for the eventual withdrawal of U.S. troops at some unspecified point in the future.

Senator Obama is also misleading on the Iraqi military’s readiness. The Iraqi Army will be equipped and trained by the middle of next year, but this does not, as Senator Obama suggests, mean that they will then be ready to secure their country without a good deal of help. The Iraqi Air Force, for one, still lags behind, and no modern army can operate without air cover. The Iraqis are also still learning how to conduct planning, logistics, command and control, communications, and other complicated functions needed to support frontline troops.

No one favors a permanent U.S. presence, as Senator Obama charges. A partial withdrawal has already occurred with the departure of five “surge” brigades, and more withdrawals can take place as the security situation improves. As we draw down in Iraq, we can beef up our presence on other battlefields, such as Afghanistan, without fear of leaving a failed state behind. I have said that I expect to welcome home most of our troops from Iraq by the end of my first term in office, in 2013.

But I have also said that any draw-downs must be based on a realistic assessment of conditions on the ground, not on an artificial timetable crafted for domestic political reasons. This is the crux of my disagreement with Senator Obama.

Senator Obama has said that he would consult our commanders on the ground and Iraqi leaders, but he did no such thing before releasing his “plan for Iraq.” Perhaps that’s because he doesn’t want to hear what they have to say. During the course of eight visits to Iraq, I have heard many times from our troops what Major General Jeffrey Hammond, commander of coalition forces in Baghdad, recently said: that leaving based on a timetable would be “very dangerous.”

The danger is that extremists supported by Al Qaeda and Iran could stage a comeback, as they have in the past when we’ve had too few troops in Iraq. Senator Obama seems to have learned nothing from recent history. I find it ironic that he is emulating the worst mistake of the Bush administration by waving the “Mission Accomplished” banner prematurely.

I am also dismayed that he never talks about winning the war — only of ending it. But if we don’t win the war, our enemies will. A triumph for the terrorists would be a disaster for us. That is something I will not allow to happen as president. Instead I will continue implementing a proven counterinsurgency strategy not only in Iraq but also in Afghanistan with the goal of creating stable, secure, self-sustaining democratic allies.

Arabs and Muslims: Modern Day Slave Traders

You have heard of greyhound dogs who are offered for adoption in the hopes that loving owners will rehabilitate them from the abuses they suffered when used as race animals. But I bet you haven’t heard that such an adoption and rehabilitative service has arisen to address the needs of the young children enslaved to perform as camel jockeys for wealthy Arabs. You won’t hear of it, just as you will not hear of muslim enslavement of black girls, tongues cut out, used as sex toys
arab slavery camel jockeys

The excerpts below the video are from a very comprehensive (and documented) piece detailing current day slavery as practiced by Arabs and muslims. But you won’t hear about it from Barack Obama, or the posturing little UN pimp daring to investigate America’s so called racism, Caca Doudou Diène. You won’t hear about it from McCain, Hollywood’s celebrity posers, or the Western press. It just doesn’t fit the currently popular template of the white devil oppressor.
(Note: It appears this video has become unavailable. If anyone knows where I might find it, please leave in comments… thank you)

A Fate Worse Than Death

The little kids, who are used as jockeys are strapped into their saddles to keep them from slipping off the charging camels. Sometimes Velcro or adhesive tapes are used as an alternative (Voice of America, 2005). One of the ‘advantages’ of using child jockeys is that their terrified painful cries make the camels run even faster. Accidents are very frequent when the camels approach speeds of up to 40 kilometers an hour. Every now and then the kids fall off the camels and the camels run over their bodies. No wonder every second or third child is seen with a broken arm or broken leg (ABWT, 2004). It is a living hell for the children. These tiny slaves, working and dying for the pleasures of rich Arab Sheikhs are sometimes as young as two (Wikipedia, 2006). They face a fate which is worse than death.

Camel Jockey - tied like a dog and begging
These children have to undergo a rigorous training schedule. It means working for about eighteen hours a day without payment. There is no holiday for them. Most jockeys only have a sheet on the sand for a bed and basic shelter. They have to work seven days a week in heats that even the local people shelter from (ABWT, 2004). Those who fall asleep are given electric shocks (in local language, this is called – giving a “KARBA”) as a wake up call (ABWT, 2005, Video Link 5). If they are tired and unable to carry out the orders of the trainer, they are tied in chains and mercilessly beaten. Often, if they cry for their parents, they are tied up by the wrists with their feet dangling in the air and their tender bodies are kicked as a punishment, (Selby, 2004). The rescued children reported many stories of cruelty, as example, being tied up in chains in the desert heat, beaten with metal rods and leather whips, cut with blades and being raped by their “owners” (ABWT, 2005). Other punishments include couple of days without food. They are often told by their trainers a story about being unwanted and being sold by their parents into slavery. They have no legal status and no one to protect them.
[...]
One nine year old rescued boy described that every week he used to see by his own eyes the deaths of about 20 children, and more than a dozen injured. He said “There was this one kid whose strap broke at the beginning of the race. His head was crushed between the legs of the running camel. Once the race has started it cannot stop” (ABWT, 2005).
Arab camel love
They are deliberately starved to prevent weight gain. Many of these children are fed with only two dry biscuits, or half dirty bread a day with water just to keep body and soul together (Selby, 2004). Some of them are not even that lucky. To reduce body weight, the owners often force the kids to wear metal helmets and leave them under the boiling heat of the desert so that they bleed through their noses and lose their body weight. Another method of keeping them underweight is to force them to eat dirty and unhygienic food with seawater. The hope is that an upset stomach will stop the child from feeling hungry (ABWT, 2005). This saves the cost of the food and also keeps the kid underweight. Many of these children, who cannot tolerate this torture just collapse and die.

American Schools and American Traitors: Hating America on Your Dime

Source:The Aztec Al-Qaeda

One thing that drives me nuts is not having the time to focus on all of the threats coming at this country.
One area of concern I have been neglecting is illegal immigration. With both McCain and Obama more than willing to hold America down on the ground to be gang raped by the world, I wonder what the point is anymore.
Be that as it may, here are a few items that will serve to remind us all how undermined we are by American traitors and the enemies within. Especially academia.
Some may be aware that Islam has made inroads as a legitmate subject matter in our public schools. As frightening and as enraging as that is, they are not the only enemy within using our useless socialist public indoctrination school system to breed hatred and contempt for America. Those “harmless” Mexicans have managed to get their curriculum up and running in the schools down in Arizona.

Here is one teacher’s story, a teacher of Mexican descent who was derided as a vendido, or “sell out”, for objecting to the hate-America curriculum offered in Tucson Unified School District. Apparently every minority considers their saner members traitors if they defend America.

As a former teacher in Tucson Unified School District’s hotly debated ethnic studies department, I submit my perspective for the public’s consideration.

During the 2002-2003 school year, I taught a U.S. history course with a Mexican-American perspective. The course was part of the Raza/Chicano studies department.

Within one week of the course beginning, I was told that I was a “teacher of record,” meaning that I was expected only to assign grades. The Raza studies department staff would teach the class.

I was assigned to be a “teacher of record” because some members of the Raza studies staff lacked teaching certificates. It was a convenient way of circumventing the rules.

I stated that I expected to do more than assign grades. I expected to be involved in teaching the class. The department was less than enthusiastic but agreed.

Immediately it was clear that the class was not a U.S. history course, which the state of Arizona requires for graduation. The class was similar to a sociology course one expects to see at a university.

Where history was missing from the course, it was filled by controversial and biased curriculum.

The basic theme of the curriculum was that Mexican-Americans were and continue to be victims of a racist American society driven by the interests of middle and upper-class whites.

In this narrative, whites are able to maintain their influence only if minorities are held down. Thus, social, political and economic events in America must be understood through this lens.

This biased and sole paradigm justified teaching that our community police officers are an extension of the white power structure and that they are the strongmen used “to keep minorities in their ghettos.”

It justified telling the class that there are fewer Mexican-Americans in Tucson Magnet High School’s advanced placement courses because their “white teachers” do not believe they are capable and do not want them to get ahead.

It justified teaching that the Southwestern United States was taken from Mexicans because of the insatiable greed of the Yankee who acquired his values from the corrupted ethos of Western civilization.

It was taught that the Southwest is “Atzlan,” the ancient homeland of the Aztecs, and still rightfully belongs to their descendants – to all people of indigenous Mexican heritage.

As an educator, I refused to be complicit in a curriculum that engendered racial hostility, irresponsibly demeaned America’s civil institutions, undermined our public servants, discounted any virtues in Western civilization and taught disdain for American sovereignty.

When I raised these concerns, I was told that I was a “racist,” despite being Hispanic. Acknowledging my heritage, the Raza studies staff also informed me that I was a vendido, the Spanish term for “sellout.”

The culmination of my challenge to the department’s curriculum was my removal from that particular class. The Raza studies department and its district-level allies pressured the Tucson High administration to silence my concerns through reassignment to another class during that one period.

The Raza studies department used the “racist” card, which is probably the most worn-out and desperate maneuver used to silence competing perspectives. (Source)

Perhaps you, like me, have wondered how the hell it has evolved that this type of material ends up in our public school system. Well, it’s been going on for years, propagasted by the likes of Soros, the Ford Foundation, Rocekfeller and others.
WeHateGringos.com have collected some articles that paint the picture. An excerpt here:

….the dozens of scholars from campuses all over the country who met here late last month did not look like revolutionaries. But behind closed doors of the meeting rooms, the conference of “Cultural Diversity Enhancement” had the tone of one of those “by any means necessary” conventions staged by SDS in the late 60s. The subject was how to turn American higher education inside out. It was sponsored by the Ford Foundation, whose strategy for a radical transformation of the university one critic has called “the academic equivalent of an ‘ethnic cleansing.’”

In an afternoon session entitled “Restructuring the University,” spokespersons summarized the thinking of the workshops that had taken place earlier that morning. Robert Steele, a Professor of Psychology at Wesleyan, noted that his group was aware that coercion would be required to change the university: “People will not be quietly assimilated to multiculturalism by truth through dialogue.” They will have to be bought off as well as brought along. Steele described the terms of the deal: “You get research assistants, you give mentoring.” In other words, using the largesse of Ford and other philanthropic institutions, advocates of multiculturalism convince the hesitant to join up by paying for research assistants. These assistants — mentors of multiculturalism — must be women or people of color. “We will have changed the university when women and people of color can see themselves running the place,” Steele concluded.

continue reading…How the Ford Foundation Created Multiculturalism

This is only one instance, and one minority. Be it blacks, illegals, gays or muslims, the road that they travel in their mission to rip America apart has been paved by the elites.

And you and me, well, we can be damned.

Web 2.0 for Conservatives: Part 1

When I look at the proficiency with which the Obama camp utilizes the web, I feel overwhelmed – especially given that so much is fueled by the gargantuan Soros media network, off line and on. And we conservatives, well, not so much.
Web 2.0
I don’t begin to understand the complexity of social networking;Twitter, FaceBook, LinkedIn. In fact, my very nature is to be repelled by this idea of indiscriminate joining, this faux-bonding that online life is rife with. I am in Facebook, but I do not interact with anyone. I am put off at clicking a stranger’s request to befriend me. WHo the hell are you? Why should I want to know you? And it seems that most of these networking applications do not have a function that basically says “F%$*k Off. At least Facebook gives you the option to have an enemy list. If I ever actually interacted, I’m sure I’d make use of it.

ANd then there is the Digg and YouTube crowds of rabidly Ameri-phobic Gore/Obama/Ron Paul geeks that dominate those sites. They gleefully lick bloody lips daily after chewing up yet another conservative entry that offends their ever fragile sensibilities.

So OK, I’m 56. Sue me. I don’t like this online social networking. Blogging is as friendly as I get. But that is a big disadvantage to me and to conservatives who, while not being as anti-social as I, are uncomfortable with and confused by this media called Web 2.0. Cause that is what they call it.

But, glory be, there are conservative Geeks out there, of that generation, who so understand the necessity of mastering Web 2.0. And a few of those Geeks have been trying to woo the rest of us to learn enough to make our words travel a bit faster, disseminate them more widely. Because as we all know, Obama’s camp has mastered it.

So, you want your blog to count?. Patrick Ruffini wants it to as well, and even though I do not understand all that he is talking about, I know enough to recognize that he certainly knows whereof he speaks. If you take the time to write daily to your blog, you owe it to yourself to take the time to read his post. And if you are still unsure what the hell he is saying, as this commenter remarked:

How about presenting these ideas in a manner that does not rely on marketing or internet jargon? Other than some of my younger geek type friends, no one I know will understand most of what you have written here — and neither can I. Those of us who you are aiming this at can not understand the specifics of what you are saying. I’m 45 and I know of no one who has used or would know how to use Twitter, for example, who is near my age.

And GOP_Rebel was kind enough to respond “in English” at this comment.

Now an excerpt from Ruffini’s post, though you ought to just jump over there now and read How McCain’s Website Can Beat Obama By Becoming a Platform posted at TheNextRight, a site on our side, described as a “place for wired activists to build a new Republican Party and conservative movement.”

Barack Obama’s Internet operation is beginning to resemble a mid-sized tech startup with 8 figures of Sand Hill Road money more than it is a political campaign. The Obama Internet team hit the ground running with ten staffers in February 2007, including Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes. Don’t be surprised to see them recruit more tech and data geeks for the general, including former Clintonistas and from Silicon Valley.

Their raw work product — even beyond the stunning online fundraising results — is impressive.

The level of detail on the Obama site is nothing short of phenomenal. You’ve got individual microsites built for Pennsylvania Neighborhood Teams, West Virginia Faith Captains, Oregon Community Organizers This is not stuff plopped in off some template, but stuff that only a large team can produce.

John McCain is never going to have the resources to do this kind of deep dive on his website. But he doesn’t have to.

John R.I.N.O McCain is Off My Dance Card

I have been somewhat successful in blocking John McCain out of my mind. The only way that I have been able to imagine voting for him, is not to imagine him at all. And of course, the more I discovered about the horror that is Barack Obama, the more I could justify voting for McCain.

But the negatives just keep on coming;  his dances with Soros, his  questionable staff, his spineless politically correct pandering, his empty rhetoric on illegals. That is quite a bit of material to suppress, to ignore, to pretend isn’t there.

mccain

But McCain’s latest drama queen histrionics over the North Carolina’s GOP’s refusal to pander to his megalomaniacal posturing is about the tipping point. How can one reasonably expect McCain to work with actual conservatives when it is obvious that he holds them in no higher regard than does Obama. It seems clear that the North Carolinians are exactly the stripe of conservative whom McCain has every intention of marginalizing, now and later.

The deal breaker to me, however, is the sovereignty of this country. And John McCain doesn’t even have it on his dance card.

And now, he is no longer on mine.

In his March 26 speech to the Los Angeles World Affairs Council**, McCain never mentioned the need to preserve American sovereignty. He could have reassured conservatives by stating his forthright opposition to Senate ratification of the U.N.’s Law of the Sea Treaty, which provides for international control over billions of dollars worth of oil, gas and minerals and undermines American claims to North Pole riches. But he chose not to.

[...]

Noting that McCain committed himself to adoption of a new U.N.-sponsored global warming treaty, which would be even more comprehensive and tougher than the Kyoto Protocol, Limbaugh said that, “The theme here is that there’s nothing special about America, and that we’re not going to be able to do anything without involving other nations and making them like us and showing them that we intend them no harm and that we want to be good stewards of the planet just as they want to be good stewards.”

The latter was a reference to McCain declaring that, “We need to be good stewards of our planet and join with other nations to help preserve our common home. The risks of global warming have no borders.” McCain sounded like another Democrat – Al Gore.

But despite his preference for what appears to be some kind of New World Order, McCain’s prior endorsement of a new Muslim state in Europe by the name of Kosovo could undermine all of his best-laid plans. Recognition of Kosovo could lead to war with Russia and more terrorist problems for Israel.

[...]

Does McCain’s vision look like an emerging world government? It is certainly a variation of “global governance,” which is the proposal that former Clinton State Department official Strobe Talbott makes in his book, The Great Experiment. Talbott calls McCain a “pragmatist” in foreign affairs, just like Obama and Hillary, and says that he expects his liberal Brookings Institution to have influence over a McCain presidency.

[...]

McCain seemed blind not only to the issues that conservatives regard as critical in an election year, but he went out of his way to reach out to liberals and Democrats. The only part of the speech they probably didn’t like was on Iraq.

[...]

mccain 2

The tragedy of this approach is that it comes from a man who served his country in uniform and risked his life on behalf of the U.S. McCain would have been a natural choice to lead a campaign for restoration of American sovereignty in foreign affairs. He could have been “The American President Americans have been waiting for.”

For reasons that remain largely a mystery, he has chosen to take the U.S. down the road of “global governance,” in which the U.N. and other international agencies, institutions and alliances determine our fate as a nation. It is the same road the Democrats are on. It is a tragedy for our country.

Sarah Palin For McCain’s VP?

I’ve avoided blogging about McCain. It’s too depressing. In fact, the only way McCain is going to be palatable is if I keep focusing on his socialist opponents.

sarah palin

I might pay a bit more attention to McCain if he chooses a running mate that is, well, unlike him. One name apparently touted about is Sarah Palin, the conservative governor of Alaska. I really do not have much faith in women politicians either but this woman doesn’t sound like an embittered femi-nazi still bitching about glass ceilings.

Yet another national talk-show host seems very pleased with the idea of Sarah Palin becoming our next Vice President. This time, it’s Laura Ingraham. During a discussion of the Veepstakes Monday morning, Miss Ingraham was considerably less than impressed with almost all of the VP possibilities being floated in the media. The notable exception, however, was a certain Governor from the Last Frontier.

Gov. Palin is clearly the only VP candidate who can cement McCain’s support in the conservative base AND make the ticket more appealing to independent voters. Most of the other names being thrown around can only perform one of those tasks, but there is one candidate can do both. Her name is Sarah Palin.

fromDraft Sarah Palin For Vice President

Some of the things that I like about her is she is for development of ANWR, a card carrying member of NRA, a hunter, a fisherman, small business advocate, pro military, and pro-life. (source)

The problem is she is about ready to deliver her fifth child. I can see the liberal feminists sputtering as they try to derail a possible VP run by somehow implying that a woman with an infant couldn’t do the job. Normally, I ‘d agree, but if this woman has accomplished as much as she has in her career while raising four other children, my guess is that motherhood hasn’t been an impediment.

Cunning Obama

the jackass messiah

Gee Obama, I know actually performing in the capacity that you were elected to perform in has proven to be a little too much for you. I mean, performing as the Messiah is very taxing, but gee, Obama honey, get your role down better. You preach change but you play the same games that Libtards have been excelling at for years. It seems that you have taken snake lessons from Hillary. Well, you two are cut from the same cloth…..

Barack Obama is promising to end partisanship in Washington, and here’s a place to start: He could stop playing politics with the Federal Election Commission in a way that could hamper John McCain’s campaign against, well, Mr. Obama.

The Illinois Senator is blocking confirmation of one of President Bush’s appointees to the FEC, which administers election laws. This has left the agency two commissioners short of the quorum it needs to make decisions — with the potential for direct harm to Mr. McCain’s campaign. As we’ve been writing, the Arizona Senator took out a controversial $1 million loan that FEC Chairman David Mason has said might lock him into the public finance system for the primary season. Mr. McCain doesn’t want to do that because he’d have to abide by spending limits that would reduce his campaigning this spring and summer. Mr. Mason says the FEC needs to rule on the matter, but without a quorum Mr. McCain is left hanging.

McCain/_______:Who Will be the Running Mate?

running mates

I am enjoying the speculations of Gullyborg at “Resistance is Futile” as to who John McCain will choose as his running mate.

He nails McCain’s manipulation of Huckabee….

….my real point is that McCain won’t choose Huckabee as his running mate. He played Huckabee, got him to stay in the race long enough to force out Thompson, Giuliani, and Romney… now he serves no purpose and can be discarded. McCain is a back stabber egomaniac, after all.

He goes on to point out how Huckabee can still screw things up for McCain if he gets enough votes, regardless of delegate count.

…if he can get enough people to vote for him simply as “not McCain” that, in terms of actual votes and not delegates, he could “win” the nomination even if he doesn’t. Imagine if, after all the primaries are done, McCain has “won” the delegate count but is far behind in terms of actual votes… that could lead to a breakdown of the nomination process and all hell could break loose at the convention.

After weighing the likely impact of Thompson and Romney, he posits that selecting Giuliani has better all around payoff and, quite frankly, I can live with that.

It isn’t about winning big in Red States. It is about holding on to Red States, even if by only one vote, and making gains in Blue States. McCain/Giuliani does that.

So what if the GOP loses Kansas? What is that, like six votes in the Electoral College? McCain/Giuliani could win New Jersey. That’s more than double. They could win Pennsylvania. That’s more than triple. They could force the democrats to spend all their money retaining New York and California, leaving states like Ohio and Florida safe in GOP hands – and the democrats CAN’T win the Electoral College without taking a state like Ohio or Florida away from the GOP.

McCain also benefits from ticket balancing with Giuliani. Not liberal/conservative, but in other ways. Giuliani is a lawyer and an executive. He has a record of running things. As VP, he could be tasked with running a number of projects for the administration – and would probably do them well.

My prediction: McCain/Giuliani, and they win BIG in the Electoral College even without getting the conservative base out in droves.

Yup, I can live with a McCain/Giuliani ticket. Sort of… given both he and McCain are too easy on illegals, and well, if I start thinking of the many trepidations I have about McCain, I realize that Obama is the only reason I have gravitated towards voting for McCain at all. The more I read about him, the more appealing McCain becomes.

And Giuliani can name the enemy, whereas an Obama presidency will probably inspire the enemy to name their kids after him.

What say you?

John McCain and Divided Loyalties

I guess I’m a simple soul. Divided loyalties would likely bother me. If I had a salesman for my product A and I found out that he admired my competitor’s product B so much so that he could not bring himself to design an ad campaign that would knock my competition off the radar, well, I’d send that employee packing.

But I doubt Juan McCain will send his “ad guru”, Mark McKinnon, packing. I wouldn’t be surprised if he shared his sentiments since it is amply evident that McCain deviates from the accepted definition of loyalty.

It was in an interview with the Austin American-Statesman published June 8, McKinnon said, “If the Democratic nominee is Barack Obama, I will not work in the general election.”

Claiming he would still support and vote for McCain, McKinnon continued, “I just don’t want to work against an Obama candidacy.”

On Feb. 1, Richard Wolffe wrote in Newsweek that McKinnon filed an internal memo with the McCain campaign pledging not to tape ads against Obama if Obama were to become the Democratic Party nominee.

Earlier, Dec. 5, 2006, in an appearance with Tucker Carlson on MSNBC before joining the McCain campaign, McKinnon said, “I think Barack Obama is one of the most exciting politicians to come along in a long time.”

Michael Centanni, chief executive officer ofBMW, a direct fund raising agency, expresses principles that I can relate to. That agency declined working on the McCain campaign.

“We actually had an internal debate about this,” Centanni said, “and we decided our reputation as conservatives was much more important to us than the significant amount of money we could make working for McCain.”

”It’s one thing if you’re a guy who owns a printing company, but it’s another thing to come up with the ideas,” he asked. “How can you be creative when your heart is actually with another candidate?”

And how can you vote for a candidate whose heart lingers in the enemy camp. And if there were not McKinnon to ponder over, reports have emerged putting McCain in bed with Soros.

In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.

McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.

And it is a crowded bed, with at least an additional four current McCain’s campaign staffers having all been in the employ of the Reform Institute. But hey, they are all on the same page, it turns out, with the Institute supporting McCain legislation that conservatives have adamantly oppose, “including… campaign finance reform, global warming and “comprehensive immigration reform…”

How much of Soros money was behind McCain’s sudden surge to the forefront? McCain helped author the bill that opened the floodgates of venomous journalism and media campaigns that Republicans have been lambasted with in the last three elections.

Sen. John McCain (R.-Ariz.) has made it possible for George Soros and other billionaire transnationalists to effect and determine the outcome of our elections and thus U.S. destiny, indeed world destiny. And that is exactly what the wealthy internationalists have always craved.

The liberal cancer that has broken America’s back and poisoned it’s soul has never beeen more evident to me than when contemplating the charlatans and clowns we have elevated as “leaders”.

Juan McCain’s Indiscreet Liaisons

mccain by linda eddy

One expects promiscuity from the left. Progressives are usually rather proud of their many indiscriminate liaisons and Juan McCain has proven to be as promiscuous as his progressive brethren. Ooops! I forgot. He’s a Republican RINO, willing to get in bed with just about anyone.

As Sen. John McCain assumes the GOP front-runner mantle, his long-standing, but little-noticed association with left-wing donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among his Republican critics.

In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.

Random Election Thoughts…

Not one step of my political journey has a damn thing to do with the Republican Party. I feel neither loyalty nor obligation  to any party. But I am beginning to think that the advice Michelle Malkin outlines in her post on the coming election is a sane approach.

Some on the Right advise their readers and listeners to vote Democrat or sit home. My advice is exactly the opposite: Get off the couch and walk the walk for conservative candidates and officeholders who need all the help they can get defending free markets, free minds, and secure borders—no matter who takes the White House in November.

9-11 removed my liberal blinders, galvanizing the fruition of “traditional” values long dormant, planted long ago by parents who never took a dime from anyone, but achieved the American dream that began when they were babes in their legal immigrant parents’ arms.

I have had to re-examine, among other things, my knee jerk antipathy to Christianity, my inclination to blame America first, as well as my appalling ignorance about how rare and unique the American experience is. I find it ironic that so many like me are now accused of being brainwashed – by talk radio no less – when it is only in the last few years that I have become aware that I was navigating on a type of lackadaisical blind trust for much of my life.

And whom did I trust? The same media, cultural mavens, press and academia that have succeeded in indoctrinating, on a far more pervasive scale, the post-boomer generations.

Not only do we need to rally behind conservative incumbents and candidates, I really would love to see conservatives invest considerable effort and influence into preparing offensive and defensive strategies to prevent the “Progressives” from cutting us off at the knees, something they will ardently seek to do, no matter who wins the White House. Conservatives will simply need to do the jobs that elected Republicans won’t do.

The Fairness Doctrine, for instance, (along with various “hate speech/crime” legislation) is one threat that I hope we prove capable of successfully defending against. I’d rather lend my hand to a battle engaged in protecting free speech than campaigning for McCain or shilling for “the party”. Perhaps I’m guilty of some type of siege mentality, but the fight against political Islam, judges, immigration, property and gun rights, etc can not be waged if we do not stand our ground on a few linchpin issues, some of which are:

Freedom of Speech/Press/Internet…be it the PC thought police ramming hate speech codes down our throat, creeping sharia, the grasping and greedy UN, or the “progressive’s” fondness for the Fairness Doctrine – we have to prepare to win these battles, no matter which socialist rules from the White House.

American sovereignty…under threat via many fronts, i.e., open borders, illegals, immigration reform, UN and International courts, treaties that will cripple the economy and muzzle us, foreign- (primarily Arab) investment (Citibank, NASDAQ)

Parental rights/Education…They will go after home schooling. Ideally, parents need to take back control of the curriculum in the public schools, challenging textbook companies and the teachers union and whoever else is responsible for the self loathing, Ameri-phobic, revisionist, social engineering voodoo that is presently taught. But even if we could reverse years of liberalism in the schools, which seems doubtful, we need to concentrate now on strengthening the rights of parents to control all aspects of their children’s education.
