Barack Obama Belongs to Soros
I’ve been rummaging through my archives again. Not getting very far with my retrieval process, but I was able to dig up a post I remembered doing on Barack Obama back in July of 2004 when he was capitalizing on Republican Jack Ryan’s inopportune revelation of sexual improprieties (fatal for Repubs, but never for Dims). In retrospect, I do wonder if the revelations of Ryan’s indiscretions were a gift from Soros along with campaign money.
At the time I wrote this, my focus was on Soros for whom I was developing, and still maintain, a visceral revulsion. I was doing quite a few posts on him, all of which I think I shall resurrect shortly given that his hand was as deeply in that election as it is in the present one. But then, as I have always referred to him, that “money slut” will tryst with the devil himself if it will hurt freedom and America.
But anyway, as it is, I can see I was a bit prescient. I thought at the time that Obama portended ill for the future, and I was, unfortunately correct.
From 2004, “Barack Obama Belongs to Soros”
There has been much acclaim from all sides for the emergence of one Barack Obama. Given the quotes I heard repeated, I was ready to become interested in this young man who might indicate a return of his, presently, leftist party, to it’s roots. I think now, however, my observations will be more towards watching how Soros grooms one of his own.
It appears the man has no problem consorting with the devil. And no problem saying just what folks want to hear. What do you want to bet that speech flowed from the pen of a Soros acolyte. Yup, it is indeed a dark day coming.
Sphere: Related Content“Obama, however, is different from most Democrats because of his willingness to embrace the controversial Soros. Shortly after Soros equated the abuses at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Obama joined him for a New York fund-raiser June 7.
The event, held at Soros’ home, boosted Obama’s campaign at a time he was still facing a challenge from Republican Jack Ryan. After news broke about information in Ryan’s divorce records, the candidate was forced to drop out. The Illinois GOP has yet to find a replacement.”
[and]
Little has been made of his connection to Soros, although it is quite unique. Not only did George Soros donate to Obama’s campaign, but four other family members – Jennifer, sons Jonathan and Robert and wife Susan – did as well.Because of a special provision campaign finance laws, the Soroses were able to give a collective $60,000 to Obama during his primary challenge. Obama faced millionaire Blair Hull, which allowed donors to give more than typically allowed.
Obama is one of only a handful of candidates to get a personal contribution from George Soros. The others include Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.), Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), Bob Graham (D-Fla.), John Kerry (D-Mass.), Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), U.S. Rep. Tom Lantos, and former Vermont governor Howard Dean“Why did George support Obama?” his spokesman, Michael Vachon, asked rhetorically. “Because when they met in Chicago a couple of months ago, it was apparent that Barack Obama was an emerging national leader, and he would be an important addition to the Senate.”
Vachon said Obama is the only candidate this election cycle Soros has met personally, with the first powwow in March.”
[and]
“Barack Obama and his liberal voting record have gotten a free ride,” Gerwig said. “His aspirations seemed to be focused more nationally now than they do on Illinois, especially if you look at some of the money he’s taken from Soros and from left-coast liberals.”
[and]
“He’s more of a socialist than he is even a Democrat,” said a critic, Cathy Santos, co-founder of the Chicago-based Republican Young Professionals. “A lot of his policies have the government taking care of people. Instead of giving people a leg up, he would rather give them a leg.”Soros initially was attracted to Obama because of his vision on education and health care, Vachon said. But Santos said if Obama got his way, the U.S. health care system would be worse than what Clinton proposed after her husband was elected president. She also said voters should be wary of Obama’s “any time, anywhere” stance on abortion.”

Hey Obama, Did You Miss all of the Imans Preaching Death to Jews and Christians Too?
I’m curious Obama, given you have invested so little scrutiny into a twenty year relationship with your spiritual advisor Jeremiah Wright, what will be your excuse when jihad goes down in America during your watch? That you didn’t know that Islam teaches annihilation of the West?
There are literally thousands upon thousands of Islamic doctrines and treatises testifying to their ultimate goal of caliphate, but I imagine that the liberation theology that you are undeniably steeped in omitted mentioning the enmity of Islam towards the West. What I fear from you Obama is that our enemy’s rhetoric somehow fails to set off any alarms, just like Pastor Wright’s rhetoric is below your radar. But here are two quotes, by way of example.
“In reality Islam is a revolutionary ideology and programme which seeks to alter the social order of the whole world and rebuild it in conformity with its own tenets and ideals. ‘Muslim’ is the title of that International Revolutionary Party organized by Islam to carry into effect its revolutionary programme. And ‘Jihad’ refers to that revolutionary struggle and utmost exertion which the Islamic Party brings into play to achieve this objective.”
–Sayeed Abdul A’la Maududi, Jihad in Islam p8
“Islam wishes to destroy all States and Governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and programme of Islam regardless of the country or the Nation which rules it. The purpose of Islam is to set up a State on the basis of its own ideology and programme, regardless of which Nation assumes the role of the standard bearer of Islam or the rule of which nation is undermined in the process of the establishment of an ideological Islamic State.”

Whatever has distracted you from hearing the words of your preacher and other militant supporters may have also served to distract you from digging up some basic Islamic tenets regarding blacks. It seems silly to suggest to a man of your indoctrination education that you do a few googles, but hey, you’re distracted, right?
I’d suggest that you may want to read up a bit before you go into a group hug with those enemies of America who do not disavow their own spiritual leaders with as much as ease as you do.
Ishaq:243
“I heard the Apostle say: ‘Whoever wants to see Satan should look at Nabtal!’ He was a black man with long flowing hair, inflamed eyes, and dark ruddy cheeks…. Allah sent down concerning him: ‘To those who annoy the Prophet there is a painful doom.” [9:61] “Gabriel came to Muhammad and said, ‘If a black man comes to you his heart is more gross than a donkey’s.’”Tabari II:11
“Shem, the son of Noah was the father of the Arabs, the Persians, and the Greeks; Ham was the father of the Black Africans; and Japheth was the father of the Turks and of Gog and Magog who were cousins of the Turks. Noah prayed that the prophets and apostles would be descended from Shem and kings would be from Japheth. He prayed that the African’s color would change so that their descendants would be slaves to the Arabs and Turks.”Tabari II:21
“Ham [Africans] begat all those who are black and curly-haired, while Japheth [Turks] begat all those who are full-faced with small eyes, and Shem [Arabs] begat everyone who is handsome of face with beautiful hair. Noah prayed that the hair of Ham’s descendants would not grow beyond their ears, and that whenever his descendants met Shem’s, the latter would enslave them.”from…
Or take it from an activist closer to your own political persuasion, Quanell X, who has, temporarily, seen the light:
Sphere: Related ContentHe said the change began about six years ago when he came face to face with racism within the Muslim community. After helping to organize a pro-Palestinian protest at the Israeli consulate in Houston, he discovered that some Palestinian protest leaders were not happy that an African-American Muslim would play such a visible role. The source of their discomfort was the color of his skin.
“It was almost like somebody had taken two electrical currents and stuck them to me and touched me. It shook me,” he said. “I grew up believing that racism did not exist among Muslims. … I grew up believing that whenever I saw a Muslim, he would see me as his brother … no matter where he was from or what racial background he came from, or what race or group of people he belonged to.”
That led him first to depression and disillusionment, then to a period of education and enlightenment. He said he found out that racism has existed in the Muslim world since its earliest days, and that Muslims played a role in the trans-Atlantic slave trade. [bold added] (by author)

Obama’s World:Collectivist Myths and Racial Prejudice
This piece gives some insights into the ideologies that govern men like Obama. Most Americans are quite unfamiliar with tribalism and collectivist thought, let alone Marxism. Or I should say, those Americans who do not claim to be “Progressives”. For Obama’s and Hillary’s side of the aisle, this is a plank in the politics upon which they stand.
Sphere: Related ContentCollectivist Myths and Racial Prejudice
by Richard M. Ebeling, October 1991One of the most effective Marxian methods of argument has been to claim that what appears as reality is in fact illusion. For over a hundred years, Marxists have insisted that such bourgeois freedoms as freedom of speech and press, and the right of contract and exchange, hide from view what is actually a slave society.
Capitalism, the Marxists have insisted, creates the impression of equality and liberty. But beneath the surface, they say, there resides the true social relationships — those which are determined by ownership of property,… Those who possess control over the means of production are the masters who rule over others. The slaves are the workers who must pay tribute to the owners of property in the form of capitalist profits. Hence, rather than a society of freedom, the Marxists say, capitalism is a social order of exploitation.
This is an extremely powerful tool of argumentation. No matter what evidence is presented as a response, the Marxist can always reply by referring to the shallowness of the anti-Marxist who has been fooled into seeing only what the ruling capitalist class wants people to see. The critic of Marxian analysis has been brainwashed by a “false consciousness” that blinds him from seeing the real class relationships and class conflicts that permeate and dominate the society.
A similar type of argumentation now permeates discussions in the United States concerning race and race relationships. Equal treatment before the law, and equality of opportunity in the marketplace, it is said, create the illusion that ethnic minorities, and black Americans in particular, are free. But it is said, this hides from view the inherently race-determined society that prevails in our country.

Obama and His Pastor Jeremiah Wright
I suggest that you read the entire article as it also highlights the radical left political ideology espoused by Saul Alinsky, a man that Obama has admired and whose tactics he has himself employed. This excerpt about Obama and the Trinity church speaks for itself.
Denouce all you wish Obama. The evidence of your ideological breeding are ample. An honest American can’t help but be appalled at not only your so-called spiritual roots, but your political roots as well.
On a Sunday morning two weeks before he launches his presidential campaign, Obama is at Trinity United Church of Christ on the South Side, gently swaying from side to side under a giant iron cross. From the outside, the church looks more like a fortress than a house of worship, with high whitewashed brick walls topped with security cameras. Inside, Trinity is the sort of African American community that the young Obama longed to connect with when he first came to Chicago. The church’s motto is “unashamedly black and unapologetically Christian,” and sunlight streams through stained glass windows depicting the life of a black Jesus. The Reverend Doctor Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., Trinity’s pastor since 1972, flies a red, black, and green flag near his altar and often preaches in a dashiki. He has spent decades writing about the African roots of Christianity, partly as a way to convince young blacks tempted by Islam that Christianity is not “a white man’s religion.”
On this particular Sunday, the sea of black worshippers is dotted with a few white folks up in the balcony, clutching copies of The Audacity of Hope they’ve brought for Obama’s book-signing later. Obama, sitting in the third row with his wife and two daughters, Malia and Natasha, stands, claps, prays, and sways along with the rest of the congregation. During the sermon, he watches the preacher carefully and writes notes. When asked by Wright to say a few words, Obama grabs the microphone and stands. “I love you all,” he says. “It’s good to be back home.” The 150-person choir breaks into a chorus of “Barack, Hallelujah! Barack, Hallelujah!”
[...]
Wright was unimpressed. “They were going to bring all different denominations together to have this grassroots movement,” explained Wright, a white-haired man with a goatee and a booming voice. “I looked at him and I said, Do you know what Joseph’s brother said when they saw him coming across the field?’” Obama said he didn’t. “I said, Behold the dreamer! You’re dreaming if you think you are going to do that.’”
From Wright and others, Obama learned that part of his problem as an organizer was that he was trying to build a confederation of churches but wasn’t showing up in the pews on Sunday. When pastors asked him the inevitable questions about his own spiritual life, Obama would duck them uncomfortably. A Reverend Philips put the problem to him squarely when he learned that Obama didn’t attend services. “It might help your mission if you had a church home,” he told Obama. “It doesn’t matter where, really. What you’re asking from pastors requires us to set aside some of our more priestly concerns in favor of prophesy. That requires a good deal of faith on our part. It makes us want to know just where you’re getting yours from.”
After many lectures like this, Obama decided to take a second look at Wright’s church. Older pastors warned him that Trinity was for “Buppies”–black urban professionals–and didn’t have enough street cred. But Wright was a former Muslim and black nationalist who had studied at Howard and Chicago, and Trinity’s guiding principles–what the church calls the “Black Value System”–included a “Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness.’”
The crosscurrents appealed to Obama. He came to believe that the church could not only compensate for the limitations of Alinsky-style organizing but could help answer the nagging identity problem he had come to Chicago to solve. “It was a powerful program, this cultural community,” he wrote, “one more pliant than simple nationalism, more sustaining than my own brand of organizing.”
As a result, over the years, Wright became not only Obama’s pastor, but his mentor. The title of Obama’s recent book, The Audacity of Hope, is based on a sermon by Wright. (It’s worth noting, however, that, while Obama’s book is a coolheaded appeal for common ground in an age of political polarization, Wright’s sermon, “The Audacity to Hope,” is a fiery jeremiad about persevering in a world of nuclear arms and racial inequality.) Wright is one of the first people Obama thanked after his Senate victory in 2004, and he recently name-checked Wright in his speech to civil rights leaders in Selma, Alabama.
The church also helped Obama develop politically. It provided him with new insights about getting people to act, or agitating, that his organizing pals didn’t always understand. “It’s true that the notion of self-interest was critical,” Obama told me. “But Alinsky understated the degree to which people’s hopes and dreams and their ideals and their values were just as important in organizing as people’s self-interest.” He continued, “Sometimes the tendency in community organizing of the sort done by Alinsky was to downplay the power of words and of ideas when in fact ideas and words are pretty powerful. We hold these truths to be self-evident, all men are created equal.’ Those are just words. I have a dream.’ Just words. But they help move things. And I think it was partly that understanding that probably led me to try to do something similar in different arenas.”

Exposing Obama One Post at a Time….
Obama Watch is an excellent resource for information on Obama that the mainstream worshippers press, for some reason, just doesn’t want to chat up very much.
This excerpt is from Todd Spivak who claims to have “known Obama for a long time and knows a different Obama from the one you see now. Obama is not the nice guy he seems.”
“A close examination of Obama’s first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career,” wrote Tribune political reporters David Jackson and Ray Long. “The man now running for president on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it.” …..
“He’s been given a pass,” says Harold Lucas, the community organizer in Chicago. “His career has been such a meteoric rise that he has not had the time to set a record.” A week after my profile of Obama was published, I called some of my contacts in the Illinois Legislature. I ran through a list of black Chicago lawmakers who had worked with Obama, and was surprised to learn that many resented him and had supported other candidates in the U.S. Senate election. “Anybody but Obama,” the late state Representative Lovana Jones told me at the time.
State Representative Monique Davis, who attended the same church as Obama and co-sponsored several bills with him, also did not support his candidacy. She complained of feeling overshadowed by Obama. “I was snubbed,” Davis told me. “I felt he was shutting me out of history.”In a follow-up report published a couple weeks later, I wrote about these disgruntled black legislators and the central role Senate President Emil Jones played in Obama’s revived political life. The morning after the story was posted online, I arrived early at my new offices. I hadn’t taken my coat off when the phone rang. It was Obama. The article began, “It can be painful to hear Ivy League-bred Barack Obama talk jive.”
Obama told me he doesn’t speak jive, that he doesn’t say the words “homeboy” or “peeps.” It seemed so silly; I thought for sure he was joking. He wasn’t. He said the black legislators I cited in the story were off-base, and that they couldn’t have gotten the bills passed without him. I started to speak, and he shouted me down.
Today I no longer have Obama’s cell phone number. I submitted two formal requests to interview Obama for this story through his Web site, but have not heard back. I also e-mailed interview requests to three of his top staffers, but none responded.

Pastor Jeremiah Wright, the New Black Panthers and Barack Hussein Obama
Certainly one can not condemn a candidate for the few whackos who might support them. But Obama’s natural constituency represents more than a few crazies. They seem to embody the essence of racial bigotry, the same vile bigotry that perpetuated slavery to begin with.
The human heart is very much an empty canvas, regardless of what skin color sheathes the body that houses it. Blacks who think like Jeremy Wright seem to think that, somehow, their hearts are impervious to the racism that they for so long have accused whites of harboring. It would seem that Obama’s so-called pastor has promulgated the same type of loathing that the slave masters that he so abhors possessed.
Now Obama will no doubt equivocate about his “crazy uncle” -I think that is how he put it – but this isn’t an old man’s doddering fulminations, it is a long standing creed upon which Jeremiah Wright built his church. It is what he has hand fed his congregation and one of the willing members of that congregation has been, for many years, Barack Hussein Obama. Jeremiah Wright’s preaching would send any freedom loving American out the door in disgust. It is not the man you allow to baptize your children. Unless, of course, you agree with it.
It is no surprise that Obama married a woman who disdains America as much as Pastor Jeremiah Wright. It is no surprise that Michelle Obama’s Princeton thesis reeks of the same “justice” rhetoric as the belief system of the pastor that joined she and Obama in marriage. So it is no surprise that we find an endorsement from the New Black Panthers on Obama’s site.
It’s bad enough that our enemies loathe America. Do we really have to entertain the thought of electing a man who agrees with them.
Below the fold you will find “What the New Black Panthers Believe“, from their site. To see their endorsement appearing on Obama’s site, click the link or click the image to enlarge it.

Obama, Get Over Your Black Self, Ferraro Was Right
A simple statement of fact:
“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is….Geraldine Ferraro
(source)
Yet, listening to Matt Lauer interview the wanna-be president Obama, I was amazed to hear Obama say that Ferraro was engaging in “slice and dice politics that’s about race, about gender, about this and that…” He went on to say America was tired of it.
Yeah, Obama, we are damn tired of it and that is one of the very reasons I wouldn’t vote for you if you were the last man standing. You wouldn’t be where you are if it were not true that politics today is nothing but division and strife caused by exactly the type of “slice and dice” identity politics that you claim to eschew. It’s called multiculturalism and now you may reap what you and your socialist comrades have sewn.
Talk about cognitive dissonance. Is Obama so swept away by his own mythology that he actually believes that he is where he is because he has shown himself worthy of the job? Because of ground breaking legislation or an actual track record of achievements that can back up all his pomposity? Come on, how long can we play at “the Emperor Has No Clothes”?
Putting aside the absurdity that Obama seems to think that gay rights, transgender rights, black rights, latino rights, Indian rights and the whole ludicrous contingent of “identity” whiners he panders to are nothing but “slice and dice” politics in action. No, what is so amusing is that his web site provides ample evidence that he excels at “slice and dice”.
Ironically, I was working on a post about just this yesterday, making that exact point. His categorizations of Americans on his site more than demonstrates the splintered lens through which Obama sees this nation, if he sees Americans at all.
How many slices and dices do you see in this list of “identities” under the heading “People”? (click on image to enlarge)

What the bloody hell ever happened to just plain old Americans? What a bunch of pretentious multicultural claptrap.
Leftist radical Saul Alinsky is often cited as an inspiration and influence in both Obama’s and Hillary’s political indoctrination. He quite clearly indicates which “slice” of America needs to be targeted to achieve political power.
Alinsky asserted that he was more concerned with the acquisition of power than anything else: “My aim here is to suggest how to organize for power: how to get it and how to use it.”
[...]
Alinsky advises his followers that the poor have no power and that the real target is the middle class: “Organization for action will now and in the decade ahead center upon America’s white middle class. That is where the power is. … Our rebels have contemptuously rejected the values and the way of life of the middle class. They have stigmatized it as materialistic, decadent, bourgeois, degenerate, imperialistic, war-mongering, brutalized and corrupt. They are right; but we must begin from where we are if we are to build power for change, and the power and the people are in the middle class majority.”
But that didn’t stop Alinsky and his followers from using the middle class for their own purposes. They counted on the guilt and shame of the white middle class to get what they wanted. In order to take over institutions and get power, the middle class had to be convinced that they were somehow lucky winners in “life’s lottery.”
That is the vein Obama adroitly taps into; white middle class guilt. For him to pretend the that his identity as an “african-American’ isn’t critical to his candidacy is utter crap. Without the skin, you have an intelligent, promising, but, unaccomplished politician. The stark salient fact remains that Obama is totally inadequate and unqualified to serve as president of the United States of America.
And it is exactly his skin color that he is depending on to repel all criticism and honest questions.
Yeah, Obama, please do quit talking about the “racist” tactics that you accuse your opponents employing and discuss any of the following:

The Bastard Contingent of "Christian" Leftists Continue to Spit on Israel.
Tensions are re-emerging between Jewish organizations and some mainline Protestant churches in the wake of a renewed drive for churches to divest from companies doing business with Israel.
The United Methodist Church opened discussions last Friday on a resolution calling for divestment from Caterpillar, the tractor manufacturer, because the company supplies Israel with bulldozers used in building the separation barrier and in demolishing Palestinian homes. The divestment resolution comes only months after the publication of a church-sponsored report referring to the creation of the State of Israel as the “original sin.”U.S. Methodist Church renews drive for divestment from Israel – Haaretz – Israel News
What is particularly distressing about these malicious efforts is, should , god forbid, Obama wins, these Methodists and Protestants will find more support for their heretical anti-semitism. They certainly share a common cause with Obama’s Pastor Wright, whose obvious devotion to the anti-Semitic Farrakhan has been well documented.
Obama makes a pretense now of shunning both “Pastor” Wright and Farrakhan ( along with his recently dismissed anti-Israel political advisor, Samantha Powers)
…back in January, Mr. Obama had asked Mr. Wright if he would begin the event by delivering a public invocation.
But Mr. Wright said Mr. Obama called him the night before the Feb. 10 announcement and rescinded the invitation to give the invocation.
“Fifteen minutes before Shabbos I get a call from Barack,” Mr. Wright said in an interview on Monday, recalling that he was at an interfaith conference at the time. “One of his members had talked him into uninviting me,” Mr. Wright said, referring to Mr. Obama’s campaign advisers. (source)

Obama has repeatedly tried to distance himself from his pastor’s embarrassing admiration for Farrakhan, telling a meeting of Jewish leaders in Cleveland this month that he believed giving the Nation of Islam leader an award was “a mistake” and comparing his pastor to “an old uncle who sometimes will say things that I don’t agree with.” (source)

The Bile of Michelle Obama’s Discontent
The Real Revo says very well what I would wish to say about this woman, but, alas, I can’t find a civil word in my head when contemplating the ever so disconsolate Michelle (is she proud yet) Obama.
Sphere: Related ContentI have to tell you, of all the maddening aspects of a maddening political campaign, this is the worst. Listening to this spoiled woman piss and moan about lack of opportunity is a lesson in hypocrisy. Her very existence disproves the position she is promoting. Michelle Obama is more successful and than all but a tiny fraction of all humans who have ever lived. She has more wealth, health, education, power and admiration than 99.99% of all Americans of all races. She wasn’t born to her high position in life. She attained it from humble beginnings in a middle class African American family in South Chicago. She attained her wealth and status by living in a time and place in history where great opportunity is available to all who are willing to work to achieve it. That should be her message: America provides opportunities for great success to those willing to put in the effort.

Random Thoughts on "Racism"
Back in 2001 I had my political awakening to race-card politics duly blogged under the heading “Is This White Woman Racist and Does She Really Fucking Care”. This was in response to the so-called Cincinnati riots. (Here is the local media’s politically correct distortion of the events, and here is the correct assessment.) As I review those early posts I can trace my journey from someone who had absolutely no issues with any race or ethnicity to my present views on racism.
As a pre-teen, I was not a participant in any civil rights movement, wasn’t particularly aware of it, but never had any perception of blacks as inferior. I think what frightened me most, as I remember, was associating poverty with blacks. My mother, born shortly after her parents immigrated from Yugoslavia, was thrust into an orphanage at a young age and her dire tales of want and hardships chilled me as a child, leaving me far more wary of that particular condition, no matter what color skin bore witness to it.
It actually is very hard for me to think in terms of ethnicity. I have never felt need to make claim to my Romanian-Serbian roots nor lament the plight of my gypsy kin in Transylvania. My daddy grabbed his American name from a billboard and proceeded to move himself steadily up the economic ladder.
By the time I was born, he had turned his allotment of rags into riches, and I was, quite frankly, a spoiled little rich girl, without the attendant social status. I felt we had much in common with the Beverly Hillbillies. My dad may have known how to make a buck, but uneducated white men who sold cars for a living didn’t get much respect in the wealthy neighborhood I grew up in. And my dad, an independent cuss, could not have cared less. But there was never a moment in my life that I defined myself, or others, according to blood, skin or lineage.
Black men worked for my father at the dealership. He also hired them to cut our grass and paint our home. There wasn’t a disparaging word uttered by my parents. They were treated like any other contractor that came to the house.
I do have vague memories of the Cincinnati riots in 1966. Those were actual riots. I remember my dad getting the gun out of the safe. In retrospect, our neighborhood was so far from Cincinnati center that the likelihood of anyone driving out to do us rich folks harm was minimal. But he didn’t talk about shooting “niggers”. The word wasn’t in the home and my guess is he would have gotten the gun out no matter what race was having a riot.
But here’s the rub. It isn’t about civil rights anymore. It’s about victimhood. It’s not about equality. It’s about extortion. It’s not about unity. It’s about vengeance and pay back. Obama dresses it up with flourishes of pompous rhetoric and spices it with the incense of mysticism but it’s the same ole same ole race, entitlement and “justice” rhetoric that constituted “dialog” during the riots here in 2001.
When trying to debate racism in some local Cincinnati forums in the aftermath of the riots, I argued with one fellow accordingly.
…for those of you who claim to know the white man so damn well, I would counter, you better look again. You think you know the white race but, by virtue of your incessant self-obsession and constant caterwauling, you have failed to see you are dealing with a generation of white people who have, for the most part, from childhood on, stepped all over themselves trying not to offend a black person.
Should we say black, or is it negro, or now is it colored, oh, now it’s african-American – and god forbid you inadvertently say the frigging ‘N’ word lest everyone shatter like so many fragile humpty dumpties and we have another damn mess to clean up.
You’ve been insulting and alienating a generation of people who have taught their children to respect all people and immediately challenged REAL racist, behavior. A generation who has enjoyed and appreciated the appearance of more and more visible black performers, newscasters, journalists, analysts and personalities. Not as material for the purpose of caricaturing black people, as so often accused, but for the brilliant HUMAN talent there to be enjoyed.
And guess what? It wasn’t hard. Counter to what you appear to believe, there is no a cauldron of repressed black hatred lingering in the white heart. We don’t connive in small circles to make a black man’s day bad. There is no boogie man.
The charge of racism today has become no more than a handy shibboleth intended to silence all criticism. It no longer holds weight with me. It is another word hollowed out of all meaning by the language re-framers on the left.
I finally quit attempting to communicate with the activists, but came away from the entire experience with a far more informed view on race and civil rights than ever supplied to me in school or via the PC media.
Below is the conclusion I reached in 2002 and it hasn’t changed in 2008. In fact, events in the intervening years have only strengthened my position. My guess is, the “unexpected consequences” of multiculturalism and political correctness that abets race-card politics has resulted in multitudes of Americans feeling about the same.
I began this venture trying to grasp what the perception of racism is and what I have found is this; because I ascribe to a particular set of principles and standards, because I adhere to a particular work ethic, because I disdain mewling dramatics and solipsism, because I demand accountability and responsibility…in other words, because of my values, I am deemed a racist.
So be it.
I am not going to cheapen my standards to accommodate some distorted version of civil rights. I’m not going to subscribe to a crippled social doctrine as define by malcontents just to appease the likes of you and your gang. Your quest for ‘equal treatment’ has served to lower the bar in every field of endeavor, but, I assure you, you will not continue with such chicanery. There are more more and more un-hyphenated Americans who know when to say the madness has gone on far too long.
With Obama being teflon-ed from relevant criticism by his supporters it appears I will be visiting the topic of racism yet again. I’m not signing on to the Party of White Guilt.

Gee. Free Toilets. That’s Socialism for You
I see how this might work. See, the socialists in Washington state have a head start on Obama. Washingtonians are going to buy all of their poor neighbors new toilets.
Help is on the way for low-income homeowners wanting to cut water consumption and utility bills. Seattle Public Utilities is offering qualified homeowners the opportunity to replace old, water-wasting toilets with free, new, efficient ones. The new models should save thousands of gallons of water each year and more than $100 a year on utility bills, according to program organizers.
H/T: LGF links
I’m sure Seattle tax payers really, really want to support the disposal of their indigent comrades fecal matter.
Anyway, the messianic wanna-be Obama mentioned that he is going to have
taxpayers underwrite everyone’s indoctrination college education if they volunteer as brown shirts.
I suggest he send his merry bands of fledgling socialists to install these free toilets around the country. I also suggest that he supply them with toilet paper and command have them teach all of us poor, helpless Americans how to wipe our asses.
Why not? Obama’s vision for America doesn’t rise far above the sewer anyway. I mean, I’m just practicing how to “measure our greatness by the least of these…” Is that kinda what you mean, oh-great- messiah, when you suggest I need to ” fix my soul“? I have yet to hear a remark from a politician that has made me so livid. That’s why the free toilets reminded me of you and your chump change, Obama.
My guess is you are much more knowledgeable about matters closer to issues of sewage than you are about the condition of America’s soul. Until your vision rises out of the toilet Obama, you ain’t talking to me..
So come on Obama baby, just tell everyone how you want your ass wiped. I’m sure there are thousands of pathetic “progressives” who will be delighted to undertake the task.
As for me, my sights are set much, much higher. And I don’t need your stinkin’ help.
Editor’s Note: For a yet unknown reason, comments are not working on just this one post . If you want your say on free toilets, you can drop a comment in the post above this one. Thanks

Cunning Obama
Gee Obama, I know actually performing in the capacity that you were elected to perform in has proven to be a little too much for you. I mean, performing as the Messiah is very taxing, but gee, Obama honey, get your role down better. You preach change but you play the same games that Libtards have been excelling at for years. It seems that you have taken snake lessons from Hillary. Well, you two are cut from the same cloth…..
Sphere: Related ContentBarack Obama is promising to end partisanship in Washington, and here’s a place to start: He could stop playing politics with the Federal Election Commission in a way that could hamper John McCain’s campaign against, well, Mr. Obama.
The Illinois Senator is blocking confirmation of one of President Bush’s appointees to the FEC, which administers election laws. This has left the agency two commissioners short of the quorum it needs to make decisions — with the potential for direct harm to Mr. McCain’s campaign. As we’ve been writing, the Arizona Senator took out a controversial $1 million loan that FEC Chairman David Mason has said might lock him into the public finance system for the primary season. Mr. McCain doesn’t want to do that because he’d have to abide by spending limits that would reduce his campaigning this spring and summer. Mr. Mason says the FEC needs to rule on the matter, but without a quorum Mr. McCain is left hanging.

Tell Obama We Want Guns!
Perhaps some of the change Obama will offer is a new theater of war. After all, the current conflict in Kenya features Obama’s cousin, Raila Odinga, a man currently accused of ethnic cleansing as his Luo tribesmen protest his election day loss. One can only hope that Obama’s American contingent of rabid fans are not quite as excitable as his cousin’s fans in Africa.
As they wave machetes with gleaming blades, rioters in Kenya’s sprawling slums say they have two things on their minds: protesting Kenya’s presidential election and Barack Obama.
The US presidential candidate — whose father is Kenyan — is a favourite son of the nation which erupted into violence after hotly-contested elections in December.
President Mwai Kibaki has claimed victory in the December 27 vote but opposition leader Raila Odinga said the polls were rigged while international observers have cited serious flaws.
About 1,000 people have since died in ethnic clashes, riots and looting.
The ethnic clashes have fueled Obama fever, with members of the Luo ethnic group rallying behind Obama, whose father was a Luo.
“Obama!” a group of Luo men shouted in unison, as they stood guard at a makeshift roadblock near the entrance of Kibera, Kenya’s biggest shantytown outside Nairobi.
“We are supporting him here. We want him to win the election,” said Mohammed Noor, 27. “Did you know that Obama’s father is also Luo?” he added.
Behind Noor, young men yelled: “Tell Obama we want guns!”
What role does Islam play? Reading so far suggests it isn’t the prime militating factor, but, it is definitely in the mix. There certainly are the tell tale signs indicating that the true believers are operative – like a church full of burning Christians – torched by Odinga’s Luo tribe.
A mob torched a church where hundreds had sought refuge Tuesday, and witnesses said dozens of people — including children — were burned alive or hacked to death with machetes in ethnic violence that followed Kenya’s disputed election.
This article refers to Odinga’s strong muslim support
…most of Kenya’s Muslims and most of Kenya’s poor in the vast slums that ring Nairobi backed Mr Odinga. Many of them are angry. Some have vented their spleen against Kikuyus living among them, often chasing them away, burning their houses and shops and sometimes killing them.
And perhaps he earned their support by pledging to implement sharia law when he takes over.

Raila has now made a deal for support from the Soviets’ successors as world-champion enemies of the West and democratic freedoms: Muslim fundamentalists… The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya has posted on its website a photograph copy of a Memorandum of Understanding, dated and signed on August 29, 2007, between Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya…
It matters little whether individual Kenyans view this as a religious war, the purveyors of Jihad intend to swallow Kenya as well.
Islamic governments have targeted Kenya as a key element in the spread of Islam in Horn of Africa and ultimately the world. The Kenyan Diaspora including Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Hussein Obama has also played a part. The fall of Kenya into Islamist control would be devastating to anti-terrorist activities in the Horn of Africa, not to mention the potential for expansion of a caliphate. One has to ask, how fast will Kenya go Islamic and apply Shariah law?
[...]
…. I believe that the recent events Kenya stand out as a watershed event signaling emerging resurgence of Islam in Kenya and the beginning of the open Clash of Ideologies between the Muslims and Christians.
The events unfolding do not represent a Clash of Civilizations, ethnic issues or a race issue, the conflict is between Ideologies – Muslim vs. Judeo Christian Ideologies and between Leftist/Marxist authoritarian (Liberal Fascism vs. democratic free enterprise.)
There is no doubt Obama will have his hand in Africa…. “In his speech to well-wishers, Obama expressed a deep sense of solidarity with this small community and the Kenyan people…” … and it appears that Bush is paving the way for him.
I am not comfortable with a would-be president whose brother is a Muslim, whose cousin, if not Islamic, shares Obama’s populist/socialist ideology. I’d like him to declare unequivocally his denunciation of sharia law. Fat chance.
But when you consider the ideological similarities between the totalism in socialism and Islam, you can see where, like in England, sharia law easily insinuates itself through the rot multiculturalism has bred.
And that is one of many, many reasons for me to work furiously to see that Obama never steps a foot into the White House – except when McCain has some chores for him to do.

McCain/_______:Who Will be the Running Mate?
I am enjoying the speculations of Gullyborg at “Resistance is Futile” as to who John McCain will choose as his running mate.
He nails McCain’s manipulation of Huckabee….
….my real point is that McCain won’t choose Huckabee as his running mate. He played Huckabee, got him to stay in the race long enough to force out Thompson, Giuliani, and Romney… now he serves no purpose and can be discarded. McCain is a back stabber egomaniac, after all.
He goes on to point out how Huckabee can still screw things up for McCain if he gets enough votes, regardless of delegate count.
…if he can get enough people to vote for him simply as “not McCain” that, in terms of actual votes and not delegates, he could “win” the nomination even if he doesn’t. Imagine if, after all the primaries are done, McCain has “won” the delegate count but is far behind in terms of actual votes… that could lead to a breakdown of the nomination process and all hell could break loose at the convention.
After weighing the likely impact of Thompson and Romney, he posits that selecting Giuliani has better all around payoff and, quite frankly, I can live with that.
It isn’t about winning big in Red States. It is about holding on to Red States, even if by only one vote, and making gains in Blue States. McCain/Giuliani does that.
So what if the GOP loses Kansas? What is that, like six votes in the Electoral College? McCain/Giuliani could win New Jersey. That’s more than double. They could win Pennsylvania. That’s more than triple. They could force the democrats to spend all their money retaining New York and California, leaving states like Ohio and Florida safe in GOP hands – and the democrats CAN’T win the Electoral College without taking a state like Ohio or Florida away from the GOP.
McCain also benefits from ticket balancing with Giuliani. Not liberal/conservative, but in other ways. Giuliani is a lawyer and an executive. He has a record of running things. As VP, he could be tasked with running a number of projects for the administration – and would probably do them well.
My prediction: McCain/Giuliani, and they win BIG in the Electoral College even without getting the conservative base out in droves.
Yup, I can live with a McCain/Giuliani ticket. Sort of… given both he and McCain are too easy on illegals, and well, if I start thinking of the many trepidations I have about McCain, I realize that Obama is the only reason I have gravitated towards voting for McCain at all. The more I read about him, the more appealing McCain becomes.
And Giuliani can name the enemy, whereas an Obama presidency will probably inspire the enemy to name their kids after him.
What say you?

Would-be Commander-in-Chief Obama Corrected by Those He’d Presume to Lead
You know, I’ve heard from an Army captain who was the head of a rifle platoon — supposed to have 39 men in a rifle platoon. Ended up being sent to Afghanistan with 24 because 15 of those soldiers had been sent to Iraq.
And as a consequence, they didn’t have enough ammunition, they didn’t have enough humvees. They were actually capturing Taliban weapons, because it was easier to get Taliban weapons than it was for them to get properly equipped by our current commander in chief.
You know, Obama, you’d be wrong on that.
The image of bereft and bumbling troops that Obama conjured up, however, probably confirms conclusions that he would prefer to reach. Just like his wife’s deficit in American pride is derivative of a certain mind set, so also is the would-be commander-in-chief’s. I fear Obama -and whatever leftist posse he drags into office with him – will dress the troops in shades of UN Goon Blue and send them traipsing around the world, redistributing America’s wealth, which, he has already promised, you’ll have no choice but to labor for. All for the greater good (but not your grandchildren’s greater good).
Amy Proctor’s husband, currently deployed, is one of hundreds who have responded to Obama’s questionable statements on arming the troops. He “wrote from Iraq that Obama has his facts completely wrong and that his words are a diversion”. Read his email and others weighing in at Amy’s site
Also of interest is ABC’s Jake Tapper’s attempt to fact check Obama’s statements, concluding, in his mind, that Obama was not in error. A perusal of the comments convincingly demonstrates that Mr. Tapper would likely be wrong, too. This one sums up the general consensus pretty well….
Sphere: Related ContentObama said:

They were actually capturing Taliban weapons, because it was easier to get Taliban weapons than it was for them to get properly equipped by our current commander in chief.”
The captain disavowed the complete last sentence of the anecdote. Obama’s wording in the first part makes it sound like this platoon didn’t have enough basic ammunition as opposed to specialized ammo. And he makes it sound like the platoon was split up, rather than individuals being reassigned to other units that eventually wound up in Iraq.
But the anecdote checks out? Tapper might be a good writer, but he’s not a magician. Obama more than shaded the truth. He didn’t “let the facts get in the way of a good anecdote.”
Well, they’re in the way now, and Tapper’s article, while it softens the blow, does nothing to dissuade objective observers from concluding that Obama is uninformed about military procedure (for example, many military personnel have pointed out that platoons are rarely at 100% strength) and clearly willing to distort the facts for political gain – the precise thing he accuses the current administration of doing.

Obama as Muhamad Ali: All Jive, No Fight
I have no use for Democratic union bosses, but this guy has it right on Obama.
Yes we’ve seen the act before. What is new and novel and unusual is Barack Obama’s boxing show. He’s not just a trained thespian. He’s a terrific shadow boxer. You know the type. Outside the ring, he pretends he can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. – great moves, great combinations, great footwork. But brothers and sisters, I’ve seen Ali in action…. But Barack Obama is no Muhamad Ali. He took a walk every time there was a tough vote in the Illinois state Senate… that’s what a shadow boxer does, all the right moves… but he never steps into inside the ring.
Thing is, just like Muhamad Ali, Obama uses high blown rhetoric to justify not fighting for America, employing pacifist palaver to rationalize going AWOL in Iraq . But at least Ali fought when he was in the ring – he saved the BS for when the fight was over. Obama would never even land the first punch, but I’m sure his lips will keep flapping when he’s laid out flat on the mat. Problem is, elect him, and he’ll take the entire country down on the mat with him. And the fool will call it peace. SPIT

Gee Michelle, You are More Than Welcome to Leave
Say Anything has the audio recording Mark Levin’s justifiable umbrage at Michelle Obama’s remark that for the “first time in her adult life” she is proud of America.
It goes to my basic reason for not wanting an African-American in the White House. If you are going to hyphenate your American identity, the likelihood is that you have long lived with the siege mentality endemic on the left and particularly among all of those minorities who have bought into the myth of their oppression. Even wealthy, Ivy League blacks like Michelle Obama seem to have a real hard time leaving the plantation.

It’s No Big Deal, Bro! It’s All for The Greater Good
Sen. Barack Obama said Monday that he doesn’t think it’s a big deal that he borrowed lines from his friend Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, although he probably should have given him credit.
Gee, if only your Soros trained staff had put the words “give Patrick credit” in your mouth on your teleprompter, Obama. Don’t they know yet how much you need a clue a cue, a prompt, an new uplifting phrase…….
Asked whether he wished he would have given him credit given the criticism he’s facing, Obama responded: “I was on the stump, and he had suggested that we use these lines. I thought they were good lines. I’m sure I should have — didn’t this time.”
“I really don’t think this is too big of a deal,” he said.
via LGF
Nah, respecting another man’s words, attributing sources, who needs to do that in Obama’s new world? After all, the man certainly doesn’t respect the right of rich men to earn and spend their money in the manner that they so choose, or the rights of private Americans to decide where the hell they want to send their charity without any direction from Big Brother.
Why the hell would he respect his buddy Deval’s authorship? It’s all good bro, we’s all one now. You gotta share bro, ya know, for the hood, for the village, for the freaking tribe.

Obama and Hillary: Steeped in the Rhetoric of Oppression
I never signed up for a course in the “-isms“; Marxism, Socialism and Communism – but researching the ideological underpinnings of the two progressive contenders for the presidency is teaching me more than I ever wanted to know.
I will frankly say that I will not vote for any black presidential candidate who chooses to designate himself as an African-American (as opposed to an American). In my mind that hyphen has come to symbolize race card politics, signaling an agenda of divisive grievances, not national unity.
And quite frankly, I could never bring myself to vote for a woman. Do with that what you will, but there was only one Margaret Thatcher and Hillary is her anti-thesis. But Hillary feeds at the same socialist trough as Obama, devouring the same multicultural, kumbaya swill.
With either candidate, it’s always about race, or class warfare, or gender issues, but never about celebrating America and it certainly is never about promoting – dare I say it – American exceptionalism.
The trinity of American exceptionalism could be described as (1) dynamism (support for equality of individual opportunity, entrepreneurship, and economic progress); (2) religiosity (emphasis on character development, mores, and voluntary cultural associations) that works to contain the excessive individual egoism that dynamism sometimes fosters; and (3) patriotism (love of country, self-government, and support for constitutional limits).(link)
I always find it amusing that the admonitions to respect the traditions of all cultures that are preached from the pulpits of multiculturalism have failed to make an impression on the very “cultures” that seek protection behind the PC mantle. But then, multiculturalism is a weapon aimed directly at the idea of “American exceptionalism”, as well as at whites, Euros, Anglos and other various “oppressor groups”. You may denigrate those cultures at will.
Obama and Hillary are steeped in the rhetoric of white supremacy, sexism and oppression, as are the academic elites who have poisoned American education.
Kors states that at an academic conference sponsored by the University of Nebraska, the attendees articulated the view that “White students desperately need formal ‘training’ in racial and cultural awareness. The moral goal of such training should override white notions of privacy and individualism.” One of the leading “diversity experts” providing scores of “training programs” in universities, corporations, and government bureaucracies is Hugh Vasquez of the Todos Institute of Oakland, California. Vasquez’s study guide for a Ford Foundation-funded diversity film, Skin Deep, explains the meaning of “white privilege” and “internalized oppression” for the trainees.
Might I suggest that the generations of blacks who have been indoctrinated to believe that they are oppressed get some training as well. If they want to claim that racism is institutionalized by whites, than I would have to say that entitlement and victim hood is institutionalized among all so-called minorities who jump on the grievance train.
From Shelby Steele’s ‘A Dream Deferred”
I believe this acceptance of victimization is a totalism caused by the downfall of post-sixties liberalism. This is where liberalism lost it’s balance and ultimately its integrity. Many observers who lived through the sixties realize that it was the old American problem of race that did liberalism in. To accept victimization not as one of many variables but as a totalism was to see it as structural – so built into the patterns of society that that it could be manifested apart from human will. And if the evil was structural. only structural remedies would work against it. You couldn’t fight racial victimization on a case-by-case basis; you had to put into place structures that would prefer the victim in compensation for the victimization we could presume he or she endured. Thus liberalism becomes preemptive rather than defensive. It no longer protected individuals and fought for equal opportunity but it pursued group rights and equal results. It remedied the victimization before it was manifest. This transformation came from the embrace of victimization as a totalistic explanation of black difficulty. But it changed the basic terms of American liberalism from freedom, rights, and responsibilities to planning, engineering and entitlements.
I absolutely do not buy that minorities in this country suffer under systematic oppression. Instances of prejudice and incivility, yeah, I am sure that there are incidents galore. It’s called human nature and the only fools who think that they will be able to extirpate prejudice completely from the human psyche are , well – fools like Obama and Hillary – magical thinking elitists who presume to know just the right alchemy necessary to recreate the human soul.
One such social engineer is a far left radical Saul Alinsky, often mentioned in both Obama’s and Hillary’s accounts of influential political mentors.
Diane Alden on Saul Alinsky…
Alinsky asserted that he was more concerned with the acquisition of power than anything else: “My aim here is to suggest how to organize for power: how to get it and how to use it.” This is not to be done with assistance to the poor, nor even by organizing the poor to demand assistance: “[E]ven if all the low-income parts of our population were organized … it would not be powerful enough to get significant, basic, needed changes.”
Alinsky’s radicals found a perfect vehicle for their destruction of the American system and more particularly for taking and maintaining power. That instrument was the Democratic Party.

Hucksters have Been Selling Obama’s Snake Oil For a Long, Long Time
Work ethic. Have you ever heard of that Obama? A good work ethic was a distinct point of pride among the independent men and women who refused charity during the depression. It’s what my father had. Son of an illiterate Romanian immigrant, he rose from a factory worker to a business owner, not on the public dime, but by virtue of hard work, diligence and perseverance.
I’m glad a man like you wasn’t running this country when my father was growing up. His own father deserted the family shortly after they arrived in America, but there were no handouts or sympathy for single mothers, no subsidized housing, no food stamps. There was opportunity. So an illiterate, non-English speaking immigrant gypsy fed her son and put a roof over his head, the way most honest people do- by the sweat of her brow, by her own hand, without any “programs” or insults from poverty-pimps.
That is the image my father absorbed. Not one of an indolent woman sucking on the government teat. Had he heard the defeatist rhetoric your ilk espouses he might never have developed the strength and discipline to overcome poverty. No one told him to prefer his native tongue over English. No one told him that anglo America would spit out a dirty little Romanian gypsy upstart. No one indoctrinated him in school to view himself as an entitled victim, deserving of succor and special treatment.
Fortunately, in 1927, there wasn’t anyone telling him he couldn’t do it because life was just too hard. Equipped with a sixth grade education, he went on to build a business that eventually sustained his family in luxurious comfort. And you want to know what he told “his people” from the old country who were too lazy to work and thought he ought to share his wealth? He said good-bye, in English, and showed them the door.
Do you really think you are offering something new Obama? Hucksters have been selling “something for nothing” for ages. Commercial after commercial is written with exactly the same strategy that you employ in your florid speeches; empty images and false promises designed to appeal to men’s greed, laziness and insecurities. ‘Just buy this, and guaranteed, your life “will be changed”.’ Who the hell doesn’t promise to change my life in every dreary infomercial running at 3:00 AM?.
Your messianic brand of snake oil is as old as the hills and as stale as the balding pot belly hippies that find you appealing. Governments run by men like you, Obama, cripple ambition and stunt the spirit. Just take a hard, long look at Europe, minus your globalist, rose-colored glasses. The comments of British expats on this article that claims the flight of British citizens alone number at 684 per day, provides a chilling view of what awaits America if you, or Hillary, take over the helm.
I do not want my grandchildren raised in a world run by men like you Obama. Utopia is not obtainable. The millions upon millions slaughtered in the name of your perverse “ideals” are recorded in the histories of those tragic nations who once danced to your pied-piper socialist tunes. Apparently your expensive and elaborate education failed to provide you with those accounts.
Kyle-Anne Shiver in American Thinker writes…
Can man successfully redeem himself through collective transformation and liberation?
Pope Benedict says “No” rather emphatically, in Truth and Tolerance. Writing of the fall of the Soviet Union:
“…where the Marxist ideology of liberation had been consistently applied, a total lack of freedom had developed, whose horrors were now laid bare before the eyes of the entire world. Wherever politics tries to be redemptive, it is promising too much. Where it wishes to do the work of God, it becomes not divine, but demonic.”
Vacuous promises of peace, hope and change are sufficient for the desperate, and the spiritually empty, but they are not messages designed to please the ear of honest, capable, hard working individuals. But that’s not your target audience, is it Obama?
“Consider these statements from Obama’s campaign website, contained in his video invitation for all to
“join us in changing the Country.”
“We believe in what this Country can be.” “In the face of war, we believe there can be peace.”
“In the face of despair, we believe there can be hope.”
“…America can be one people reaching for what’s possible.”
Obama indeed seems to be offering a people’s government solution to all human problems. He is, after all, running for President of the United States, not for a pulpit. Substituting the state for God as provider has been the inherent common thread in all Marxist regimes.
And in this seemingly redemptive offering, Obama may be promising what only God can actually deliver, in the form of yet another, more eloquent, version of the same old utopian dream that started with Rousseau and Marx.
Shriver ends her article with a quote from a man she refers to as Obama’s political mentor. I find it particularly unsettling, yet, at the same time, very, very fitting.
Sphere: Related ContentSaul Alinsky began his book Rules for Radicals:
“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

John McCain and Divided Loyalties
I guess I’m a simple soul. Divided loyalties would likely bother me. If I had a salesman for my product A and I found out that he admired my competitor’s product B so much so that he could not bring himself to design an ad campaign that would knock my competition off the radar, well, I’d send that employee packing.
But I doubt Juan McCain will send his “ad guru”, Mark McKinnon, packing. I wouldn’t be surprised if he shared his sentiments since it is amply evident that McCain deviates from the accepted definition of loyalty.
It was in an interview with the Austin American-Statesman published June 8, McKinnon said, “If the Democratic nominee is Barack Obama, I will not work in the general election.”
Claiming he would still support and vote for McCain, McKinnon continued, “I just don’t want to work against an Obama candidacy.”
On Feb. 1, Richard Wolffe wrote in Newsweek that McKinnon filed an internal memo with the McCain campaign pledging not to tape ads against Obama if Obama were to become the Democratic Party nominee.
Earlier, Dec. 5, 2006, in an appearance with Tucker Carlson on MSNBC before joining the McCain campaign, McKinnon said, “I think Barack Obama is one of the most exciting politicians to come along in a long time.”
Michael Centanni, chief executive officer ofBMW, a direct fund raising agency, expresses principles that I can relate to. That agency declined working on the McCain campaign.
“We actually had an internal debate about this,” Centanni said, “and we decided our reputation as conservatives was much more important to us than the significant amount of money we could make working for McCain.”
”It’s one thing if you’re a guy who owns a printing company, but it’s another thing to come up with the ideas,” he asked. “How can you be creative when your heart is actually with another candidate?”

And how can you vote for a candidate whose heart lingers in the enemy camp. And if there were not McKinnon to ponder over, reports have emerged putting McCain in bed with Soros.
In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.
McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.

the Reform Institute still employs the McCain campaign’s Hispanic outreach director, Juan Hernandez, as a senior fellow of its Comprehensive Immigration Reform Initiative.

And it is a crowded bed, with at least an additional four current McCain’s campaign staffers having all been in the employ of the Reform Institute. But hey, they are all on the same page, it turns out, with the Institute supporting McCain legislation that conservatives have adamantly oppose, “including… campaign finance reform, global warming and “comprehensive immigration reform…”
How much of Soros money was behind McCain’s sudden surge to the forefront? McCain helped author the bill that opened the floodgates of venomous journalism and media campaigns that Republicans have been lambasted with in the last three elections.
Sen. John McCain (R.-Ariz.) has made it possible for George Soros and other billionaire transnationalists to effect and determine the outcome of our elections and thus U.S. destiny, indeed world destiny. And that is exactly what the wealthy internationalists have always craved.

The liberal cancer that has broken America’s back and poisoned it’s soul has never beeen more evident to me than when contemplating the charlatans and clowns we have elevated as “leaders”.

Obama and Hillary: Take Your Hell Care and Shove it Where the Sun Don’t Shine
My expecting daughter-in-law recently declined prenatal testing, reasoning that whatever information the test yielded would be irrelevant. Abortion is not an option. She still has choices in how she conducts her pregnancy – for now.
But, if Hillary or Obama should somehow achieve the presidency, I am willing to bet that the choice to refuse testing and a decision not to abort won’t be available to the next generation. I suspect that all those shrill femi-nazis yammering about the right to their own bodies and the right to kill the offspring thereof will be preternaturally silent on the likely “privacy” violations inherent in socialized medicine.
Hillary is going to see to it that you have no choice in the matter.
Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to have workers’ wages garnisheed if they refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans. (Link)
A commenter at LGF provides a cameo of how Hillary Hellcare will likely look.
The Trojan Horse in Hiilary care will open to reveal something like this: Since we have to pay for your health care, we can dictate to you how much you can be permitted to: smoke (none) drink (up to, but not exceding…) weigh (nuff said).
Those found not in compliance with federally established guidlines will recieve a set of goals that must be met within a reasonable (as determined by your physician) amount of time. Furthermore, if you do not meet your government mandated goals for improvement, there will be mandatory counselling, and possible re-education, training…
And Oh, and by the way. Please fill this cup so we will know if you’ve been using any controlled substances. If so, your rehab sessions will begin as soon as we have selected a counsellor who can most closely match your individual demographic.
And one other thing- what race did you check on the form? JWM
If you think that amounts to hyperbole, think again. Better yet, do a search for child eugenics in Europe and the Netherlands. Soon in Hillary’s and Obama’s new America , Progressives will get to dictate which children are acceptable, and since they appear to be able to see the future, they are predicting which children will have “worthwhile” lives, and killing those that they foresee as being miserable. All for the “greater good”, don’cha know?
New Zealand recently rejected an immigrant couple because the wife’s weight might impose future public health burdens. Great Britain’s mad social engineering whores are collectively furrowing their brows trying to decide who “deserves” health care, and who does not.
Doctors are calling for NHS treatment to be withheld from patients who are too old or who lead unhealthy lives.
Smokers, heavy drinkers, the obese and the elderly should be barred from receiving some operations, according to doctors, with most saying the health service cannot afford to provide free care to everyone. (Link)
San Francisco recently demonstrated how easy it is to ram socialized medicine down the collective throat, proper judicial procedures be damned.
A three-judge panel of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals allowed San Francisco to enforce its law and extend coverage to all uninsured adults while the city appeals a federal judge’s decision striking down a key funding provision.
That provision requires large and medium-size companies to offer insurance to their employees or pay a fee to the city for the cost of their coverage.
[...]
That the ruling allows the law to take effect during the city’s appeal is unusual. Generally, appellate courts refuse to allow enforcement if a lower court has found part of a law invalid.
No one will tell me how to live my life. I will smoke what I want, eat what I want, drive fast cars, shoot guns and burn the candle at both ends if I so choose. And I really do not want to hear about the cost to society imposed by smokers, obese people or downs syndrome babies. The minute you take the parasitic illegals and welfare-lifers off of my tax roll, I might be amenable to suggestions. As it is, it will cost me and mine far too much of our freedoms to feed the beast named “society”.
To borrow a phrase from the femi-nazi baby killers, keep your freaking laws off my body.
