Failing to convince progressives to collectively asphyxiate themselves ( as suggested in the last post), we are left with  the ugly task of describing  these reality manglers. I find myself at a loss for words, or at least words that adequately capture the absolutely insidious and depraved nature of those who willingly lay down their freedom. Courtesy  an RFD America twitter, country writer and advocate Jerri Green produces a simple but useful  metaphor that serves.

Imagine popping a fluffy white marshmallow in your mouth only to discover a turd in the middle. What could be more evocative of the progressive experience. Problem is those fools apparently not only relish a steady diet of shit, they want the rest of the country on the same diet.

Neo-liberals pride themselves on their ability to use rhetoric to get their way. They are the hands-down best at manipulating words to manipulate minds. They think it’s a brilliant strategy. But I have to disagree. Manipulating words is a strategy to distract people from a poorly
constructed argument. By hiding the issue in a rhetoric marshmallow, they hope to make the Marxist idea of nationalization easier to swallow. The problem is you can wrap crap in a marshmallow all day long; it won’t hide the fact that you’re eating crap. But over at the Huffiington Post, they have a boat load full of marshmallows to hide their bits of crap in.

Truth Be Told: Calling a Spade a Spade

In response to my recent post, The Nigger Rich Administration, a commenter said “Dahyum, FINALLY someone articulates what I have been thinking!!”. And that is what I have to say about the comment I quote below , left by a reader in response to Ruben Navarrette Jr.’s idiotic “Black President, White Fears“.

It’s a damn shame when truth has to dodge politically correct bullets in order to get said. In writing my post, I hesitated using the term “nigger rich” and I have come to recognize that as my default-liberal, knee-jerk reaction to issues of race, a subject that has, in my life, always been framed in terms of evil white folks hanging on tenaciously to their power to the detriment of all others. Which is quite simply idiotic. As if the lure of power only seduces whites. Just like the idea that racism is inherent only in whites, but alien to blacks.

All races have been persecuted. All races have been slaves and have enslaved others. But as far as I know, only the white race has ever freed another race  and done the hard work on integrating a minority  into the social fabric. And is the white race supposed to apologize for basically ending up on top after a couple thousand years? The scales could quite have easily tipped the other way I imagine, and I’ll be damn if I am going to apologize for what whites have achieved. Nor am I going to apologize for the evil that our power may have perpetuated because that same power has swept mankind to the heights of civilization as we now know it and the crowning pinnacle of the West’s achievements are best represented in the United States of America.

And I am quite tired of trying to pretend that isn’t true. And that is why I say to this comment below; “Dahyum, FINALLY someone articulates what I have been thinking!!”.

Because here is the deal. Pigment does not a soul or heart make. Ideology, however, is a whole other matter. When Laurie Coleman, wife of U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman, hauled her trash to the alley at 7:30 this morning, a chilling sight greeted her.

Delusional Democrats DARE to Accuse the Right of Hate Mongering

Where were these guardians of civil discourse and respectful politics when their side gave awards for a movie depicting a Bush assassination?

Where was their outcry for civility when a play produced another assassination scenario?

A FAMED CITY theater group is inviting controversy by staging a play in which a character thinly veiled as President Bush gets assassinated. “President and Man” begins a five-day run at The Duke on 42nd St. tonight as one of eight one-act plays staged by the Naked Angels Theater Company, whose members include Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. RNC Announces New Security Measures Following Violence & Vandalism

WASHINGTON, Oct. 11 — Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Robert M. “Mike” Duncan released the following statement today in response to attacks against Republican volunteers and supporters, and acts of vandalism against Republican Victory centers.

“There is no place for violence, vandalism, or intimidation in politics. As a result of violence against Republican volunteers and supporters, and acts of vandalism against Republican Victory centers, the RNC has redirected funds previously allocated for get-out-the-vote (GOTV) efforts — totaling at least two millions dollars — for 24-hour security at volunteer centers across the country. We are making this investment in protective security because our staff and volunteers deserve to know they are safe as they work to elect the next President of the United States.

Hundreds of Demonstrators Rally Outside Palin Fundraiser near San Francisco

Sarah Palin flew into San Francisco to attend a GOP fundraiser on October 5 but did not speak publicly and won’t be staying a minute longer than necessary to collect money in the bay area. Several hundred angry protesters gathered in front of the Hyatt-Regency Hotel in Burlingame, adjacent to the San Francisco airport, to demonstrate their displeasure with the GOP platform. Following the vice-presidential candidates recent debate with Democratic candidate Joe Biden, many protesters’ signs referred to Palin as an outright liar. Others took issue with her extremist views on abortion. The California Democratic Party sent invitations to area party members to “Greet Sarah Palin” in protest, but representatives of groups World Can’t Wait and the Raging Grannies outperformed the more staid Democrats with colorful costumes, props and chants.

Environmental activists dressed as wolves howled in pain while union members led chants from a flatbed truck. Veterans for Peace members from chapters 101 (San Jose and SF Peninsula) and 69 (San Francisco) mocked the Republican McCain ticket campaign poster by adding the tag line “War Without End” and “Give Us Several Trillion Dollars” to their signs.

And now we read, in The New York Post, today:

Two Ohio voters, including Domino’s pizza worker Christopher Barkley , claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they’d already signed up.

Barkley estimated he’d registered to vote “10 to 15″ times after canvassers for ACORN, whose political wing has endorsed Barack Obama, relentlessly pursued him and others.

Claims such as his have sparked election officials to probe ACORN.

“I kept getting approached by folks who asked me to register,” Barkley said. “They’d ask me if I was registered. I’d say yes, and they’d ask me to do it [register] again.

“Some of them were getting paid to collect names. That was their sob story, and I bought it,” he said.

Barkley is one of at least three people who have been subpoenaed by the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections as part of a wider inquiry into possible voter fraud by ACORN. The group seeks to register low-income voters, who skew overwhelmingly Democratic.

“You can tell them you’re registered as many times as you want – they do not care,” said Lateala Goins, 21, who was subpoenaed. “They will follow you to the buses, they will follow you home, it does not matter,” she told The Post.

Acorn’s tactics are famously “in your face.” Just think of Code Pink’s well-known operations (threatening to occupy congressional offices, interrupting the testimony of General David Petraeus) and you’ll get the idea. Acorn protesters have disrupted Federal Reserve hearings, but mostly deploy their aggressive tactics locally. Chicago is home to one of its strongest chapters, and Acorn has burst into a closed city council meeting there. Acorn protestors in Baltimore disrupted a bankers’ dinner and sent four busloads of profanity-screaming protestors against the mayor’s home, terrifying his wife and kids. Even a Baltimore city council member who generally supports Acorn said their intimidation tactics had crossed the line.

Acorn, however, defiantly touts its confrontational tactics. While Stern himself notes this, the point is driven home sharper still in an Acorn-friendly reply to Stern entitled “Enraging the Right.” Written by academic/activists John Atlas and Peter Dreier, the reply’s avowed intent is to convince Acorn-friendly politicians, journalists, and funders not to desert the organization in the wake of Stern’s powerful critique. The stunning thing about this supposed rebuttal is that it confirms nearly everything Stern says. Do Atlas and Dreier object to Stern’s characterizations of Acorn’s radical plans — even his slippery-slope warnings about Acorn’s designs on basic freedom of movement? Nope. “Stern accurately outlines Acorn’s agenda,” they say.

Do Atlas and Dreier dismiss Stern’s catalogue of Acorn’s disruptive and intentionally intimidating tactics as a set of regrettable exceptions to Acorn’s rule of civility? Not a chance. Atlas and Dreier are at pains to point out that intimidation works. They proudly reel off the increased memberships that follow in the wake of high-profile disruptions, and clearly imply that the same public officials who object most vociferously to intimidation are the ones most likely to cave as a result. What really upsets Atlas and Dreier is that Stern misses the subtle national hand directing Acorn’s various local campaigns. This is radicalism unashamed.

There best not ever be a Progressive “getting in my face”. I shall make their asinine accusations come true in a manner that they will not in the least bit enjoy. To be sure, I loathe the Marxists creeping in under the banner of Obama, and I will not apologize for it. But at least I have the freaking integrity to confess it, while they wallow in their absurd pretensions of enlightenment. Let their enlightenment be damned to the hell from which it issues.

This morning on a local talk show, several people called in reporting that they were positive some of the “youth” that Obama’s team were recruiting for voter registration were voting more than once. One man overheard a group of teens in his building bragging about it But how can that be? How can you register to vote and actually vote on the same day.

Ohio Secretary of State Democrat Jennifer Brunner is behind a new rule in the state that allows Ohio citizens to register and vote on the same day.
That law went into effect today.

Jennifer Brunner has also directed county boards of elections to deny absentee ballots to thousands of qualified Ohio electors who support Senator John McCain who fail to check a box that was not mandated by Ohio law.

Normally in an election, partisan election monitors are allowed into polling places so that they can police each other. But not in two counties, Franklin and Montgomery, in Ohio. Brunner also issued an advisory opinion to counties saying that they are not required to allow election monitors.

Barack Obama has no intention of winning this election fair and square. What is going on in Ohio is beyond the pale.

ACORN is a major contributor to Obama campaign and other leading democrats in the House and Senate

Obama and the democratic Caucasus in the House who intentionally excluded the House Republicans from the structuring of the proposed bailout deal last week, had included a provision in the bill that would have funneled proceeds from the bailout in the amount of $20 billion dollars to go to ACORN. Again, a leftist radical slush fund that is used to pay off elected officials.

The Obama Campaign GAVE ACORN THIS YEAR APPROXIMATELY $800,000 for use in election registration efforts.

Obama said nothing about this payoff in the bill to ACORN when meeting in Washington last week in the White House. Only McCain did, and if it was not for him, we would have passed that bill, without the changes that were made following the “big Blow UP” in the white house last week, and the American Taxpayer would have funded another behind the scenes payoff to the democratic liberals and Obama, who are all corrupt.

Obama knew all about this payoff and was out telling the American people how NO RICH EXECUTIVE SHOULD GET A DIME, and the AMERICAN PEOPLE SHOULD BE PROTECTED.

BUT HE WAS HAPPY TO MAKE SURE BURIED IN THE BILL WAS A PROVISION TO PAY BACK ACORN (HIS GROUP) with a $20 BILLION DOLLAR GIFT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER.

HOW CAN ANYONE TRUST THIS GUY TO A PRESIDENT WHO WILL LOOK AFTER THE PEOPLE AND NOT HIS “SPECIAL INTERESTS?”

UPDATE: For those who has asked about lawful voter registration drives at religious institutions, that is only legal IF the organization is non-partisan. “Muslim Americans for Obama”, the sponsor of these events, is unquestionably a partisan organization, and thus, any participation by these mosques is illegal and violates their tax exempt status. Additionally, since the Muslim Americans for Obama announcement says that these voter registration drives are intended to “get out the vote for Sen. Obama”, they are considered partisan (i.e. intended to benefit a specific candidate) under the law and illegal on that basis as well – in addition to the fact that these events are sponsored by a partisan organization.

A homeless thug now registered to vote comments: “They picked me up. They seen me walkin’ around. Yeah, these are the folks that the democrats have catered to for these many years with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac “affordable housing”. You slaved to get your house, to keep your credit good, to make a secure future. These people? They are America’s socialist future. These are the “poor” who got mortgages with bad credit, no credit, no income verification. Nothing. The Obama “poor” have brought this country to the brink of financial collapse and they are passing a bill now that will penalize you, not them. As the value of your house declines as foreclosures sprout all around you, you can thank the “Progressives”. If you vote in the progressive, i.e., socialist Barack Obama, you damn well will deserve what you get.

And I do not want to hear crap about the cost of the Iraq war. A war that was necessary, is necessary to protect us from the Islamists who want us to fall, who are now gleeful over our present crumbling. Remember them? They remember you. They might as well nuke away. If Obama wins, this country will be reduced to rubble anyway.

Joe Biden Redefines Patriotism as Higher Taxation

In the world of Obama’s progressives, reality is rearranged to serve their agenda. History is rewritten, language is eviscerated of meaning and traditions and values that have fostered the most advanced nation extant are decimated and reframed to serve their suicidal ends.

Thus, In the progressive world, Christianity is gutted of every mandate issued by God and Jesus is turned into a “community organizer” who is just fine with sexual deviancy and the slaughter of infants.
In the Progressive’s world, America is not the bright and shining city on the hill but a shameful bully that deserves the comeuppance that they long to deliver to her through injurious and onerous taxes and fallacious environmental doctrines that will decimate our wealth and erase our sovereign borders. In their world, this nation, which has brought enlightenment and freedom and modern technology to millions, is a churlish and greedy bitch who must now rip her gut open and spill her resources and remaining bounty on millions of the world’s poor, so that we may be as needy as they are.

In the progressive world, treason is honorable, our soldiers are vicious killers and the constitution is reduced to a cheap Hollywood script that can be retooled for inferior sequels.
And in the world of VP nominee Joe Biden, accepting higher taxation is an act of patriotism. Has the damnable fool never heard of the Boston Tea Party?

My God people, wake up. A vote for Obama/Biden is a vote to destroy America. It doesn’t matter if Osama Bin Laden is killed or not. His vision of a broken America will be delivered through the hands of Barack Hussein Obama.

In her speech in Dayton today, Gov. Sarah Palin announced that she and her husband are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, which means they were married on August 29, 1988.

On April 20, 1989 – less than eight months after they eloped – their first son, Track, was born.

I think I can guess the real reason why they eloped, and it wasn’t to save money on an expensive wedding.

Have you often wondered why feminists make no universal protest over the suppression of women and sexuality in Islam? Well, I have, but, I should have realized that when the facts of honor killings and genital mutilation are input into a Progressive brain, the reframing of it’s meaning would produce the convoluted reasoning that Naomi Wolf, recently espoused.

The West interprets veiling as repression of women and suppression of their sexuality. But when I travelled in Muslim countries and was invited to join a discussion in women-only settings within Muslim homes, I learned that Muslim attitudes toward women’s appearance and sexuality are not rooted in repression, but in a strong sense of public versus private, of what is due to God and what is due to one’s husband. When I first saw this, I thought it likely to be as credible as the allegations by the idiot who claims to have had sex with Obama in a limo or some such nonsense. But it has indeed been confirmed that Frank Marshall Davis is the Frank that Obama speaks so eloquently of in his book. And, as The Telegraph reports, that same Frank Marshall Davis is a confessed, and apparently proud, pervert. (H/T to Porcupine Rim)

Now I know in the world of ReProgressives, Davis’s sexual antics are not likely to be scorned, in fact, too many of the ReProgressive breed count such thinking as acceptable and, well, progressive. Fine and dandy. But I seriously do not want a president who finds value in counsel from such a man, be it political or sexual.

Bill Clinton put his seal of approval to blow-jobs, defining it as an inconsequential form of sexual activity, giving America’s youth a green light to indulge. Since Obama views babies as punishments, has no qualms about executing live babies, and advocates sex ed for kindergarteners, I really, really don’t want to imagine what his sexual parameters are. I suspect they would be just as repugnant as his political parameters.

Maya Soetoro-Ng, Obama’s half-sister, told the Associated Press recently that her grandfather had seen Mr Davis was “a point of connection, a bridge if you will, to the larger African-American experience for my brother”.

In his memoir, Mr Obama recounts how he visited Mr Davis on several occasions, apparently at junctures when he was grappling with racial issues, to seek his counsel. At one point in 1979 Mr Davis described university as “an advanced degree in compromise” that was designed to keep blacks in their place.

Mr Obama quoted him as saying: “Leaving your race at the door. Leaving your people behind. Understand something, boy. You’re not going to college to get educated. You’re going there to get trained.”

He added that “they’ll tank on your chain and let you know that you may be a well-trained, well-paid nigger, but you’re a nigger just the same.”

And this is the man who Obama sought counsel from on racial issues? Perhaps he absorbed the man’s sexual ethics as well. Given that he seems to think sex ed for 5 years old is beneficial, one can only wonder.

It has also been established that Mr Davis, who divorced in 1970, was the author of a hard-core pornographic autobiography published in San Diego in 1968 by Greenleaf Classics under the pseudonym Bob Greene.

In a surviving portion of an autobiographical manuscript, Mr Davis confirms that he was the author of Sex Rebel: Black after a reader had noticed the “similarities in style and phraseology” between the pornographic work and his poetry.

“I could not then truthfully deny that this book, which came out in 1968 as a Greenleaf Classic, was mine.” In the introduction to Sex Rebel, Mr Davis (writing as Greene) explains that although he has “changed names and identities…all incidents I have described have been taken from actual experiences”.

He stated that “under certain circumstances I am bisexual” and that he was “ a voyeur and an exhibitionist” who was “occasionally mildly interested in sado-masochism”, adding: “I have often wished I had two penises to enjoy simultaneously the double – but different – sensations of oral and genital copulation.”

The book, which closely tracks Mr Davis’s life in Chicago and Hawaii and the fact that his first wife was black and his second white, describes in lurid detail a series of shockingly sordid sexual encounters, often involving group sex.

One chapter concerns the seduction by Mr Davis and his first wife of a 13-year-old girl called Anne. Mr Davis wrote that it was the girl who had suggested he had sex with her. “I’m not one to go in for Lolitas. Usually I’d rather not bed a babe under 20.

“But there are exceptions. I didn’t want to disappoint the trusting child. At her still-impressionistic age, a rejection might be traumatic, could even cripple her sexually for life.”

He then described how he and his wife would have sex with the girl. “Anne came up many times the next several weeks, her aunt thinking she was in good hands. Actually she was.

“She obtained a course in practical sex from experienced and considerate practitioners rather than from ignorant insensitive neophytes….I think we did her a favour, although the pleasure was mutual.”

On other occasions, Mr Davis would cruise in Hawaii parks looking for couples or female tourists to have sex with. He derived sexual gratification from bondage, simulated rape and being flogged and urinated on.

He boasted that “the number of white babes interested in at least one meeting with a Negro male has been far more than I can handle” and wished “America were as civilised as, say, Scandinavia”. The convoluted reasoning that justifies the depravity of pedophilia and reduces a black man’s successful entrance into college to one of simply being prepared to be a “well trained nigger” doesn’t suggest that the purveyor of such gutter thinking ought to be sought out for counseling. Under the Obama Five Year Plan, he will be “directing billions in loans and capital to entrepreneurs who are willing to create clean energy businesses and clean energy jobs right here in America.” Those “entrepreneurs” will consequently be bought and paid for Obama supporters.

Under an Obama regime, America will “invest federal resources, including tax incentives and government contracts, into developing next generation biofuels” and “raise our fuel mileage standards four percent every year.”

Except for Hugo Chavez and Barack Obama, the whole world learned in the last century that central economic planning does not work. Yet, that is where we are today in our national energy policy. That is why it is all such a mess.

Under Obama, it will all get much, much worse.

INDEED, WE HAVE just experienced a huge central planning disaster with the ethanol fiasco. Ethanol production consumes at least as much energy as it produces, still costs more than oil counting all of its never ending subsidies, actually harms the environment on net, and causes sharply rising food prices.

Food riots have broken out in poor Third World countries, where people are starving because so much land is being used for ethanol production rather than food production. Yet our central planning geniuses in Congress have “mandated” sharply increased use of ethanol over the coming years. This is precisely the model for Obama’s energy policy.

Saudi and Progressive Thought Police Hold Much in Common

Seems like “Arab information ministers” ( I wonder who will hold that title in the coming socialist administration in the US) are no more fond of Saudi talk radio shows than their “Progressive” counterparts in America.

Talk shows on Arab satellite television stations have been a forum for rollicking criticisms of Arab regimes and sharp discussions of taboo topics – especially live shows where listeners can call in with uncensorable opinions. But governments are now trying to rein them in. This week, Arab information ministers adopted a “Charter of Principles” seeking to regulate satellite broadcasts, raising fears among media circles of a concerted move to muzzle stations. “Some satellite channels have deviated from the right path,” Egyptian Information Minister Anas el-Fiqi told the ministers gathering in Cairo on Tuesday. “There are violations that have taken place, violations taking place around the clock, which require a serious stance.” The charter prohibits criticism of Arab leaders and religious figures and warns in vague terms of harming social peace, national unity, and public morals, demanding “adherence to objectivity, sincerity and respect to the dignity of the countries, nations and their national sovereignty.”

Don’t make the mistake of feeling comfortably safe from such Orwellian tactics in America. The Reprogressive and their good islamist friends are just as determined to strangle your free speech. Have you ever written a particularly vituperative email? I have. Not threatening, just angry. Well, so did former diplomat Patrick Syring and he now faces one year in jail for doing so. Think about it. An e-mail. Not a threatening email, but one expressing the contempt and rage that most sane Americans feel towards islamists.

If Zogby were a decent person, he would go after the Arab terrorists. Instead, he goes after patriotic Americans who use words to denounce those trying to make America fertile ground for Arab terror.

I fail to find that offensive, sorry. Fail to see a threat. Any anti-jihadist blogger can show you far more incendiary emails as well as direct, specific threats. For that matter, based on this, they ought to round up 99% of all the imans spewing hate behind their protected mosques.

There’s an interesting move in Pennsylvania to try to remove power from the people to elect judges. I’d never heard of the Merit Selection movement before a friend brought it to my attention this morning, but googling around, it turns out some 20 states already use it. In essence, rather than electing judges, “Merit Selection” puts the power to select judges in the hands of a judicial selection commission, which forwards slates of names from which a governor may choose.

I apologize for the light posting but I upgraded this WordPress installation and in the process, destroyed my permalinks. The problem is now resolved ( thanks Ron ). I still suspect some kind of problem with a malicious script or some kind of bot thing as I am getting an influx of peculiar searches, but we can function again at least.

I missed, rather gratefully, the great pretender, Hussein Obama’s, middle east farce but the headline I think best describes it is Pat Dollard’s American Garbage Drifts to the Middle East.

A fuckstick like this, who has helped kill American troops by encouraging the enemy to keep fighting, having the gumption to stand amongst them on the field of battle itself, doesn’t make me very happy at all…and a reminder that we all have some serious business to attend to here at home.

Obama is rather like a malicious script, isn’t he? One that infects and drags the entire nation down. He is similar to a recent infection that tricks users into thinking that they need a certain application with which to view porn – if that’s your thing, you’d be inclined to download it. What Obama offers is a surfeit of emotional porn for the muddle-minded, touchy-feely class of Reprogressives. Downloading him is akin to downloading a Trojan Horse that will infect and compromise the essential operating system of America.

Like Dollard says, we have some serious business in America and the first order of business is ridding our operating system of the malware known as Barack Hussein Obama and his posse of Reprogressives.

I swear some of you weak-kneed progessive brethren of mine have no clue about the vicious nature of the ideological battle we are in. When a bad guy dies, we should rejoice, not sing his praises of wish him anything by scorn.

Obama Makes a Mockery of the Presidential Seal

Typical progressive isn’t he? Just as Reprogressives try to appropriate and distort marriage, Christianity and America, Obama chooses to appropriate the Presidential seal with this none tooo subtle rendering. He could have at least used a vulture instead of an eagle. A bird of prey picking the bones off of carrion far better symbolizes Barack Obama’s intent for America than the noble eagle.

Barack Obama and the “New Party”, Acorn, and Other Various Leftist Vermin

The following piece is reproduced in it’s entirety from Discover the Networks. I, like thousands of bloggers, it would seem, have been tracking down all of Obama’s little Marxist/Commie/Socialist playmates. I was scouting out his relationship with self-declared Socialist Bernie Sanders – more on that later – and in doing so, ran into this piece describing Obama’s brief relationship with something called the “New Party”. While reading, you’ll find the group ACORN referenced. Please, also read a thorough examination of Obama’s intimate ties with that group, by Stanley Kurtz – Inside Obama’s Acorn.

The New Party

Co-founded in 1992 by Daniel Cantor (a former staffer for Jesse Jackson‘s 1988 presidential campaign) and Joel Rogers (a sociology and law professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison), the New Party was a Marxist political coalition whose objective was to endorse and elect leftist public officials — most often Democrats. The New Party’s short-term objective was to move the Democratic Party leftward, thereby setting the stage for the eventual rise of new Marxist third party.

Most New Party members hailed from the Democratic Socialists of America and the militant organization ACORN. The party’s Chicago chapter also included a large contingent from the Committees of Correspondence, a Marxist coalition of former Maoists, Trotskyists, and Communist Party USA members.

The New Party’s modus operandi included the political strategy of “electoral fusion,” where it would nominate, for various political offices, candidates from other parties (usually Democrats), thereby enabling each of those candidates to occupy more than one ballot line in the voting booth. By so doing, the New Party often was able to influence candidates’ platforms. (Fusion of this type is permitted in seven states — Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Mississippi, New York, South Carolina, and Vermont — but is common only in New York.)

Though Illinois was not one of the states that permitted electoral fusion, in 1995 Barack Obama nonetheless sought the New Party’s endorsement for his 1996 state senate run. He was successful in obtaining that endorsement, and he used a number of New Party volunteers as campaign workers.

In 1996, three of the four candidates endorsed by the New Party won their electoral primaries. The three victors included Barack Obama (in the 13th State Senate District), Danny Davis (in the 7th Congressional District), and Patricia Martin, who won the race for Judge in the 7th Subcircuit Court. All four candidates attended an April 11, 1996 New Party membership meeting to express their gratitude for the party’s support.

The New Party’s various chapters similarly helped to elect dozens of other political candidates in a host of American cities.

One of the more notable New Party members was Carl Davidson, a Chicago-based Marxist who became a political supporter of Barack Obama in the mid-1990s.

In 1997 the New Party’s influence declined precipitously after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that electoral fusion was not protected by the First Amendment’s freedom of association clause. By 1998 the party was essentially defunct. Daniel Canto and other key party members went on to establish a new organization with similar ideals, the Working Families Party of New York.

The blogger who posted the excerpt below correctly notes that these hetero-phobes are certainly courageous enough to blatantly spit in the face of Christians, but can’t quite find the balls to take their dog and pony show on the road to the land of Islam. I guess all of the “balls” tossed about in transgendered operations don’t include a dose of testosterone.

BOSTON, May 12, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) The now annual Massachusetts Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Youth Parade was highlighted this year by fully sanctioned participation by a variety of school groups. Children [were] encouraged to display homosexual acts on camera to be posted to the group’s website…Titles of the various pamphlets included the following:

“Reading the Bible with New Eyes” which claims that Jesus had a homosexual affair with Lazarus and that Mary was a lesbian among other grotesque distortions; “Queer Spirituality” which claims that homosexuality can be a means of opening oneself to God; “History of Saints Servius and Bacchus” which claims that the two saints were involved in a homosexual relationship. Several of these pamphlets were handed out by a man dressed as a Catholic priest.

At one point during the event, a guest speaker incited the crowd to violently harass photographers from “Mass Resistance”, the pro-family action group. The photographers were surrounded, barred from taking pictures and then assaulted as a Boston police officer in uniform stood by and watched.

The event was fully sanctioned and funded by the State of Massachusetts through the Commission on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth. Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick provided an official proclamation endorsing the event.

Newly Discovered Element May Explain Progressives Addiction to Controlling Your Lives

The human body is primarily composed of seven elements; oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. A newly discovered seventh element, Governmentium, has been found to be present at toxic levels in the bodies of progressives, Marxists, socialists and Obama voters.

Sufferers can be recognized by their obsessive use of words like “change”, “hope”, and “racist”, uttered in uncontrolled outbursts similar to Tourettes. These seizures have particularly been noted in Obama voters.

A major research institution (MRI) has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest chemical element yet known to science. The new element has been tentatively named Governmentium. Governmentium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. Tell you what Obama, Sweetie, Honey Bunch, Darlin’ – I know you are still mired in your oppression mentality. I really think that when affirmative action was implemented, they ought to have included a course on basic freedoms. It is quite evident that you haven’t an iota of appreciation for, or conception of, the rights that Americans have always enjoyed in pursuing the lifestyle that they desire. You know, that “pursuit of happiness” thing? Have you even read the document that promises Americans exactly that?

The rest of the world can figure it out for themselves Obama. It is not my obligation to diminish my lifestyle for the sake of the anonymous huddled masses and it sure as hell ain’t the role of the American president to mandate it. Sweetie.

But after you lose this election Obama – and if there is any bloody sanity left in this country, you will lose big – I’m sure Jimmy “Hamas” Carter has a hammer for you at Habitat for Humanity. That way you can exercise your love of oppression while building houses for those poor little Palestinian supporters of yours in the Middle East. In fact, maybe you should campaign over there. Those folks are very used to having their lives controlled by their governments. I know it has escaped you Obama, but Americans are not.

Islam, Tribalism and Progressives

I have always been viscerally repelled by the idea of a “collective”. The phrase “for the greater good” has the same affect on my nerves as fingernails clawing a chalkboard. Even when I hear groups of people reciting mantras or slogans in unison, I am reminded of brain dead zombies. During my reprobate days as a hippie I remained baffled what the hell the appeal of a commune was. Why the hell would I want strangers sharing the bounty of my work?. Especially when it is an inevitability that a good portion of that group are likey to be slackers who are more than willing to coast on other people’s efforts.

There is nothing that makes me more inclined to put someone’s lights out than their presumption that I owe them, or society, a damn thing. For those who revel in humanity , who get goose bumps at the thought of a group hug, fine and dandy. Find yourself a commune and get your collective rocks off. But don’t you dare impose that farcical construct on the rest of society. I worship free will. I embrace individualism with every fiber of my being. And any group, muslims or progressives, who dare suggest that they own a part of me, can kiss my singular ass.

So, you can imagine how cloying and perverse I find this Obama crowd and their “We Are One” mentality. More so, I find it alarming that this compulsion towards tribalism is a signature feature of muslim/arab society.

I ran into an article that I printed out a few years back on the “arab personality” that, at the time, provided me with much needed insight into the behavior of Islamists. It’s worth reading if you want to get a grasp of the muslims inverted sense of honor as well as their disconcerting similarities to the left. It appears that mohammad (spit) found in Arabs a society quite amenable to the claustrophobic conrtol that Islam exerts, just as the left finds comfort in such fatuous notions of “the greater good” or the idea of sacrificing “the one for the all.”

Here are a couple excerpts:

Arab society is tribal-nomadic, with its outstanding trait being clan loyalty and the anarchy of the desert. Most of its values were shaped in the jahiliyah age before Islam. The important values in Arab conceptions and behavior reflect the pre-Islamic ideals. In the jahiliyah age, “The Arabs did not know Allah and his Messenger and the rules of the religion.”

Despite their desert character, the city was the Arabs’ focus of change and political activity. Mecca was a center of trade and pilgrimage, since it was on the caravan routes. Religion had secondary importance in jahili society. Religious customs were observed out of tradition and feelings of respect for forefathers, but religion was fetishist, and values were fatalistic, out of absolute faith in the decrees of fate. Secular values took a central place, and were expressed in the concept of manliness (muruwwah), which meant the whole set of traits of a perfect Bedouin. The most important framework was preserving tribal solidarity (`asabiyyah). The tribe was the foundation for personal and group existence.

The critical phenomenon in its importance to Arab-Islamic society is honor. A man’s honor is sharaf. It is flexible, dynamic, and subject to change in accord with his deeds. A woman’s honor is `ird (also meaning her pelvis). In contrast to a man’s honor, this is firm and permanent. The woman grows up with her honor, and her most important role is to preserve it.

The moment that a woman’s honor is lost, it cannot be restored, and a man’s honor is severely wounded. Indeed, Muslim society is based on the virginity of its daughters. Honor is the most important supreme value in Arab life, more important than life itself. A man without honor is considered dead. Hence the saying, “It is better to die with honor than live with humiliation.” A man’s place in the tribe, as well as the tribe’s place among the tribes, was according to the measure of his and its honor. When honor was harmed, shame was caused which originated in public exposure, overt to everyone, a phenomenon which severely humiliated a man. Indeed, the Arab individual is caught up throughout his whole life in intensive activity to avoid shame and advance his honor. The central means for this was vengeance. Honor is restored only when vengeance has been carried out in public and is known to all.

Tribal tradition and clan loyalty had dominant influence in society. Likewise significant were blood ties within the extended family or the tribe, which determined group loyalties and identifications. Most of these social traits exist to this day, and influence the functioning of Arab society as a primordial system in which symbolic values are more important and esteemed than concrete values and the overall, holistic system of beliefs. This is “a shame society”, in which everyone must behave according to the accepted norms and internalize his own feelings in the system of group behavior.
